And just for you Libertines haters, Pete and Carl finally met up and spoke yesterday so the chances are they could be back sooner than you know it.

Bring it on.

Honestly, I bought thier second album, and it is one of the worst albums I've ever purchased, aside from possibly Korn "Untoucables".

Why they actually matter is beyond me.

I think The Libertines second album was superior to Up The Bracket, and showed a more mature, better rounded sound, and much better production values, I think people just expected more of the same, and that wasn't what they got. Whereas Up The Bracket was altogether punkier, The Libertines beared more resemblance to a Las album than anything else, IMO.

Splendid.

A good spread.

OK COMPUTER is magnificent...Was listening to it today on the train in fact.

However I think "Homogenic" by Bjork is bettr than "Debut".

Good to see Kraftwerk in the list too.

A list for the masses certainly, but pretty good.

9 - GUNS N' ROSES - Appetite For Destruction

19 - JIMI HENDRIX - Are you Experienced

23 - BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILERS - Exodus

30 - DURAN DURAN - Rio

39 - THE WHITE STRIPES - Elephant

40 - BLACK SABBATH - Paranoid

43 - FRANK SINATRA - Songs for Swingin' Lovers!

44 - THE CLASH - London Calling

45 - THE PRODIGY - The Fat of the Land

63 - MOBY - Play

64 - RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

65 - THE POLICE - Synchronicity

73 - BECK - Odelay

80 - SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER - The Original Movie Soundtrack

Those are the albums on the first list I own.

82. AC/DC- Back in Black (1980)

74. The Beastie Boys- Paul's Boutique (1989)

57. Bee Gees & Various- Saturday Night Fever (1977)

50. The Police- Synchronicity (1983)

42. Guns N' Roses- Appetite for Destruction (1987)

26. Bob Marley- Exodus (1977)

25. The Clash- London Calling (1979)

5. Jimi Hendrix Experience- Are You Experienced? (1967)

And those are the albums on the second list I own. Clearly this means both lists suck because they do not stack up to my musical tastes. Most of these albums stick out like a sore thumb in my collections, but they are pretty good (except Appetite for Destruction, which is only good when I feel like being a little red around the collar). And no, I don't own any Floyd, Zeppelin, or Nirvana's "Nevermind;" all that gets played non-stop on radio and it's barely even music to me anymore. More like familiar noise.

I'm shocked you say that as Korn fan. For most normal people, it was a shocker....I thought most Korn fans were even more dissapointed (most of the ones I've talked to, anyway), what with all the pissing about Korn did, only to produce a very sub-par album.

It's not nearly as much as an abomination as most people make it out to be.

Well, I just generally disliked it. But I can see why people might have made it out to be worse than it was.....Korn pissed about with the album for so long, and spent so much money on it, you'd expect something special at the end of it, and it wasn't. It was easily thier worst album to date IMO, and they got slaughtered critically and commercially as well for how poor the album was. Take A Look In The Mirror was considered thier "return to form", although I'm not a massive fan of that either.

I think "Take A Look In The Mirror" was worse, but neither were bad albums by any means. I enjoyed a few songs on both albums, but I felt their latest was their worse (not counting the Greatest Hits).

Yeah. Korn Kovers EP is going to suck too.

Korn Kovers? Tell me more....

I haven't heard enough of TALITM to judge it against Untouchables, but I just prefer self-titled style Korn. Maybe it was just because it was fresh and new back then...I dunno.

Korn Kovers is exactly that. Korn covers songs.

The known tracks (err, atleast I know of) is Fight The Power ft. Xzibit(?), and Head Like A Hole ft. Chester Bennington.

Yeah, I knew it was Korn covers, just wanted to know what songs.

Interested to see the Head Like A Hole cover, though.

I'm not. I've heard enough HLAH covers in my 16 years to know only one has ever been worthwhile, and that being Devo's cover.

Atleast Linkin Park covered a Nine Inch Nails song that rarely anyone covers. HLAH? Ugh.

Having only heard Freedom Of Choice by Devo, HLAH by them sounds like an "interesting" idea.

Oh well, I dislike any of the Korn covers I've heard so far, so not expecting much of a change.
