Well, which one do you guys recommend? Up to Series 5 it costs £32.97, but Series 6 costs £52.79. What to buy?

EDIT: I've seen Series 6 before, that was when I got into it as it was on Sky One. I really enjoy it, so...yeah...

If it looks like something you'd enjoy, start with season 1 (of course).

If you're kinda buying it on a whim, get season 5.

Of course, I hate Stargate The Craptacular Series.

My roommate has the entire series on DVD (what been released at least). If you enjoy the show, I'd start with season 1. I was never really into the show but then I started watching his DVDs when I was bored and got into it. I enjoy the show but I'm not a huge fan. I can only watch an episode of it once. If I watched it again, I'm bored. Buffy and Angel I can watch multiple times and still enjoy.

Get Season 1 and work chronologically. Although Seasonon 1 isn't as good as some seasons - that's the reasoning I'd go for.
