that video is friggin' sweet.

the gameplay reminds me a tiny bit of LoW, but it looks MUCH better. I'm getting this game.

When does it come out? Or is it out?

It comes out the end of August (japan only)

The gameplay is different than LoWs wirred combination system (at least it was in KoC one wich i own both editions of) - it´s very simple but yet alows a wrestler to have up to 42 Front Grabbel Moves, 42 back grabbel Moves, lots of standing moves without a grabbel (not only kicks and punches, fireball, mist, stunner and so on) so with the stuff you can do on the ground and on other ocasions your wrestler easylee can extend 100 moves (if you want - you can asign no moves ore just the same one over andover again wen you want to create a hogan like character for ex.)

But still grabbeling is very easy becaus every wrestler uses the same system (including a buildup from weak to stronger moves, in the premade wrestlers the weak moves will always be accest over the same buttons) so you don´t have to learn wakky left right up combinations for every wrestler new again (corect me if i am wrong but i remember that that was the system aclaime always used including LoW, after the SNES games)

read an FAQ about the first KoC game to learn what buttons exactly have to pushed wen and were to acces all thes moves.

Finaly some News :-)

first, last weekend spike had test sessions in shops were fans (they anounced it on the side so people legitly came to test game) were able to play and tell what they would like to have changed/like ect. Some unconfirmed infos about this have been posted at GameFaqs (yes thats why i extra said unconfiremed, never trust gamefaqs posters)

Load times are long

-Camera work has been improved

-You can attack after the match has ended

-Lariats have been improved(I'm not holding my breath)

-Supposedly, there's now selling

-The ring is bigger

-You can choose audiences now? For example, like NJPW vs. NOAH at Differ with a pro-NOAH crowd.

New moves...

-F5

-Argentine backbreaker into German suplex

-Tanaka's lariat counter into rolling elbow

-Kanemoto's knee strike combo

-Cross knee hold from an ankle hold

-Top rope olympic slam

-Bull's Poseidon

-Gyaku otoshi(reverse drop)

-Nagata style corner knee

-Tiger suplex off the apron(sub for the off the ramp version)

-Hustle appeal?

-Kanemoto's modified leglock

-Crocop's left high kick into face punch combo

-Murakami corner stomping

The game now has U-Style rules. Just think of BattlArts/RINGS style.

Of cuase, if this is right it issent annywere near the compleed info about what is new, what is changed, what is in, also as they are still working on it some things might change.

i am kinda suprised it is two movies, i expected them to do one a week so it fits in perfect with the release date (9.9.2004), i always thoutght that was why they took a break from updates wen the game was deleted, whatever, eeeeeeeeenjoy

i think they also plug their CAW and say that there are basicly 160 premade wrestlers you just need to pice together (meaning movesets and logic alreay exist+ perfect clothing is around - keep in mind that logic and moveset are a lot bigger than with smackdown so this saves A LOT of time)

There is at least one japanes game for the X-Box but i have no idea if it is anny good, and sinc x-box is pritty much dead in japan i wouldend hope for to much, maybee the new WWE X-Box game gts better, the namechange on the gamecube seems to have brought a lot positive ingamechanges with it... otherwise your totaly lost for now, but if you only have your PS2 for a handfull of games annyway investing into a modchip to be able to play this one would not be out of your wirred rationalety (i just noticed that you said someting totaly different so this dossent make sens, go and buy all of it as i said annyway, GO GO !!!!)

My game arived last frieday, while there still is stuff the need to fix this is a hugh improvement over KoC1 and by fare the best playing wrestling game on this planet.

But you can answer me this, I read in a few places that you cann book full tours. Like NJPW booking a full tour. Booking matches, watching them and getting ratings. Is this true?
