He was holding pocket Aces. I knew that now, but then, hell, I thought I had the killer hand. Pocket Kings baby! Let it ride, let it ride! All in on pocket Kings, and nothing on the flop. One way or another, this was gonna end now, either he was gonna break me, or I was gonna break him. I threw down my Kings, secure in the knowledge that I had already won. Almost had a heart attack when I saw those Aces. Worst moment of my life.

I prayed for a King on the turn... got a fucking Deuce. Yup, I had just gambled away everything. Dead money at the start of the tournament, to pocket Kings on the final hand. He gloated, fucker. He knew he had it won. I prayed again, hell, I'm an athiest, I didn't know who I was praying to. Then... the River...

And thats how it began.

2.5 million. Man, I'd never seen that kind of money. Add the fact that with some... 'creative' accounting, it was all tax free. Damn, I had a good old time that night, and for months after. Spent half a million dollars in the span of 6 months, and I hadn't even bought a house.

But then, then I knew that if I was going to do anything, I was going to live my dream. Hell, I had the money, the backers, and the knowledge. I grew up in the business. My daddy had worked Texas, my uncle in the Mid South territory. Faced all the legends, Lou Thesz, Ric Flair, Terry Funk. I knew the business, hell, I'd grown up in it, and if it hadn't been for a bad knee from Texas high school football, I'd have followed them right into it. Instead, I was a poker player, and at 22, the youngest champion of the World Series of Poker in history. Eat that Dutch Boyd!

So, with my remaining two million, I made some calls, got some contacts, rented time at an old bingo hall, now an arena, and got a ring. By the time I was through, I was going to be the best they'd ever seen. Fuck Paul Heyman, fuck Vince McMahon, Fuck Jerry Jarrett. By the time I was done, I wasn't going to just be the King of the Strip, I was going to rule wrestling in America, and take it from a joke, to what it should be, the best damned sport in the land.

The Titles

Sin City Pro has established one title upon its creation, the Sin City Heavyweight Championship. At this time, no other titles are planned, though that is subject to change.

The Sin City Heavyweight Championship will be put up for grabs in a Four Man Elimination match at the first Sin City Pro show, entitled Birth of an Era, to be held June 27th, the four men to be chosen by the Sin City Pro Competition Committee, the governing body of Sin City Pro.
