Talent Raid!

- Two more gone...

By: Paul Heyman

As most of you might know by now, all of the workers for ECW are here simply on a verbal agreement. Most of the workers are doing impressive things here on the East Coast, and it gets them noticed by the bigger promotions. Hell, even our World Champion is on a verbal contract and if offered the right amount of money he could walk out on ECW any minute.

That's not the case today. Instead World Championship Wrestling has sent contracts to both Mike Awesome and Terry Funk both of which have agreed to the terms and left for World Championship Wrestling earlier today.

Yes, the same Terry Funk that was involved in the high profile World Title feud. Aparently the respect and the reputation Terry Funk has built over the years means absolutely nothing because he's choosen the all mighty dollar over working for a company that has put time and effort into giving him the top spot once again.

Terry Funk, Extreme Championship Wrestling says fuck you.

Terry Funk, we were giving you the world and it just wasn't enough to fulfill your greed. Now we, a company who has supported you, have to scramble to find a replacement. Re-work the stories and angles we had set in motion for you. Terry Funk, we hope you all the best in World Championship Wrestling, but for walking out on ECW, walking out on your fans, and for walking out on the boys who looked up to you again we say fuck you.

Mike Awesome, have a nice life.

Singles Match

Christopher Daniels vs. Homicide

- Two excellent technical workers were in the ring starting the show out. Both men had alot to prove and want to eventually become big stars in the buisness someday. Both men started with some nice chain wrestling and then moved to the stiff kicks and forearms. Daniels hit his well timed 'Best Moonsault Ever' and Homicide looked to be out of it. The match continued and Homicide hit his pattened Cop Killer but only a two count for it aswell. As the clock ticked to zero Homicide was locked inside the 'Koji Clutch'. Both men shook hands at the end of the very well matched bout.

Winner: Time Limit Draw.

Singles Match

If Axl Rotten wins Bad Breed earn Tag Title Shot next week.

Axl Rotten vs. Pitbull #2

- Axl had a chance for their team to really get an opportunity next week but he'd have to overcome Pitbull #2. Both men started out slugging eachother in the early goings of the match but Pitbull #2 took quick advantage with a barrage of suplexes that looked like Axl was out of the match. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams ran to the ring and caught Pitbull #2 off guard with a kick to the stomach and a powerbomb which gave the win to Axl Rotten. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams continued to beat on Pitbull #2 as Axl stood on watching.

Winner: Axl Rotten via Interference.

Friends?

- Shane Douglas was walking backstage aparently off of his cellular phone now. He still had his World Title and Woman was beside him. Douglas walked towards the room of The Sandman and to his suprise The Sandman was just exiting the door. Douglas looked at Woman who shrugged and Douglas thanked The Sandman for his help last week.

The Sandman looked a bit confused and then took off in the other direction without ever actually saying a word.

Overall Rating: 77%

Singles Match

Ian Rotten vs. 911

- Ian Rotten was already in the ring with 911 made his entrance. Both men did the usual you clothesline me and I'll clothesline you stuff and 911 looked like the stronger of the two which he was. Ian had enough of that and grabbed a chair, beat 911 the hell up with it and got a pinfall. Short and to the point. Ian Rotten is a dangerous man.

Winner: Ian Rotten via pinfall.

Singles Match

Kevin Sullivan vs. Mikey Whipwreck

- Kevin Sullivan was on squash duty tonight as he faced ring crew member Mikey Whipwreck. Sullivan beat Whipwreck with clubbing blows and then stretched him on the mat for a while. Sullivan picked Mikey up for a piledriver and put the match in the record books in only about three minutes. As Sullivan was celebrating his victory Mikey snuck up from behind with a steel chair and laid Kevin Sullivan out.

Winner: Kevin Sullivan via pinfall.

Feuling The Fire

- Backstage there was a crowd formed around a worker who appeared to be down. Upon closer inspection it was Television Champion, Jason Knight who was set to defend his title in the main event only moments away. One of the staff workers yelled for an ambulance as the paramedics loaded Knight onto a gourney and it looked as if he wasn't going to make it to his title defense. Off in the distance someone could be heard 'grunting' and then a shadowy figure took off in the other direction.

Overall Rating: 77%

Giving Opportunities or Abusing Power?

- Shane Douglas came to ringside with his World Title and Woman carrying a microphone. Douglas climbed into the ring and began to speak.

Shane Douglas: "Tonight you won't be getting your scheduled Television Title match since someone decides it's better to beat up the performers in the backstage then do it in the ring. I have no clue who this idiot is but he'll get what's coming to him. Instead, being the fighting champion that I am, and the fair person I am... Yuji Nagata will square off against my good friend The Sandman and if Yuji can win he'll earn a title shot right here next week. If Yuji looses I get to take the rest of the week off and the Super Card."

Overall Rating: 85%

Main Event

If Nagata wins he will be #1 contender for World Title, next week.

The Sandman vs. Yuji Nagata

- The Sandman was furious about the announcement, he'd been through hell and back last week and now he'd have to face off against a strong technical wrestler like Yuji Nagata. Hell The Sandman wasn't a wrestler, he was a fucking brawler. Both men came face to face in the ring and The Sandman slapped Yuji Nagata. The Sandman tried wrestling tactis and went for a clothesline, Nagata blocked it into an armbar. Both men tried their styles and neither had a clear advantage. Douglas who was still sitting ringside grabbed his belt and got onto the apron. With the referee's attention turned Douglas threw his belt to The Sandman.

Interception.

Yuji Nagata caught the World Title and clocked The Sandman in the head busting him wide open. The referee turned around to see The Sandman down and out and Yuji Nagata covered him for the three count. Nagata celebrated his win while Shane Douglas got into the ring and yelled at The Sandman. Douglas went to attack Nagata but was spun around. The Sandman was to his feet and had his signapore cane and cracked Douglas in the face with it. The Sandman called for a beer and cigarette. The Sandman grabbed the World title and lifted it into the air with his left hand, chugged the beer then threw the can to the audience and held his Signapore cane in the air with his right hand. Cigarette hanging from his mouth, could this be a sign of things to come?

Winner: Yuji Nagata via pinfall.

Two matches into the card, The Sandman came stumbling through the back door of the arena carrying his Signapore Cane and a Beer Can. The Last Attack

- For the past four weeks Jason knight has been brutally attacked and this week would be no different. Knight was walking backstage when out of the dark came the monster he'd faced numerous times backstage. He was struck with a chair and then stomped untill security broke it up. Paramedics rushed to the scene as the monster still wearing the black hoodie to mask his identity screamed "Barely Legal!"

***** ******** gained 2 points of overness from this segment.

Tag Team Titles Match

The Pitbulls © vs. Bad Breed

- Last week Axl Rotten earned his team a Tag Team Title Shot and this one errupted into a brawl in short order. Axl and Pitbull #1 battled on the outside as did Ian and Pitbull #2. Both teams threw stiff punches to eachother and kicks to the mid-section. Nother here showed technical classic but neither team really cared. Pitbull #1 hit a northern lights suplex on Axl and then jumped in the ring. Pitbull #2 rolled Ian into the ring and both Pitbulls began beating on him. From the back ran Team Dangerous! who slid into the ring and began pummling the Pitbulls. The referee called for the bell as this was a no contest and both teams kept fighting it out as the Bad Breed simply backed away from the action.

Winner: Draw.

The ECW Tag Team titles have gained in image.

Here in 48 hours!

- The small screen setup in the ECW arena played a video package for debuting star Chris Jericho who would be in a Television Title shot at Barely Legal only 48 hours from now. The fans stood on their feet clapping their hands as they had appreciated the work of Jericho in both Japan and Mexico and could not wait to see him here in ECW.

Overall Rating: 75%

Chris Jericho gained 1 point of overness from this segment.

ECW World Title Match Main Event

Shane Douglas © w/ Woman vs. Yuji Nagata

- Shane Douglas came to the ring second and went straight to work on an armbar. Yuji Nagata reversed it into a hammer lock and these two were putting on some decent mat wrestling. Douglas thumbed Yuji Nagata to the eye and this match had turned into a one sided affair. Douglas called for Woman who threw him the belt and then she distracted the referee. Douglas clocked Yuji Nagata with the belt and then walked around celebrating his achievement holding the belt above his head. When Shane turned around the referee was looking at him and grabbed the belt away. Douglas walked towards Yuji Nagata who rolled him up and got a very close two count. The Sandman came running down the aisle and chucked his beer behind him. The Sandman slid into the ring and canned Shane Douglas in the forehead and the referee called for the bell. The Sandman hit a russian legsweep with the cane, to Shane Douglas and then posed with the belt and a cigarette in his mouth. Yuji Nagata climbed out of the ring pissed that he was screwed out of his opportunity.

Winner: Shane Douglas via disqualification.

Overall Rating: 70%

Crowd Reaction: 51%

Match Quality: 89%

The fans realised that The Sandman turned not too long ago, and so this time they didn't care so much.

The Sandman lost 9 points of overness from this turn.

The ECW World title has gained in image.

Closing Thoughts: I decided to turn The Sandman back to a face so it was a tradition heel/face feud. Even though ECW survived on breaking the barrier of heel/face I figured EWR would not give enough heat to a heel only feud. My mistake and it has cost me as you can clearly see. Fuckin' sucks!

The Sandman waitied for him to get in the ring then handed him the contract. Shane Douglas snickered and then threw it on the ground. The Sandman smashed his beer can on the forehead of Shane Douglas and then forced Shane Douglas with his own hand to sign the contract. The camera zoomed in to read the top.

Mikey Whipwreck vs. Jimmy Snuka

Snuka headbutted Mikey to start the match and then hit some chops and a crescent kick. Snuka had control of the whole match till the very end. Television Title Singles Match

Superstar Debut

Jason Knight © vs. Chris Jericho

- Jason Knight had been the victim of brutal attacks for the past few weeks. Tonight he would be squaring off against a sensation across the world, "Lion Heart" Chris Jericho. Knight had no clue who the attacker was and you could tell he was visibly worried throughout the match. Jericho showed that he can wrestle on the ground, brawl, and fly as he hit his famouse "Lion Sault". Chris Jericho truly looked like the stand out peformer in this match. Jericho had Knight in the "Lion Tamer" submission when out of the crowd came the attacker from weeks past. The man smashed Jericho with a clothesline and then started stomping away on Jason Knight. The referee called for the bell. The man then pulled the hoddie off to reveal himself as Rhino Richards. Rhino had been dubbed the next superstar in wrestling by anyone who had seen his independent work. Rhino continued the assult on Jason Knight as security tried to break the two up. Jericho left the ring looking disappointed.

Winner: Jason Knight via disqualification through interference.

The ECW Television title has gained in image.

Speaking His Mind

- Paul Heyman the creative mind behind Extreme Championship Wrestling was in the ring holding a microphone in his hand.

Paul Heyman: "I just wanted to personally thank all of you here tonight for coming out to the show. As most of you have read already alot of our main talent are accepting big money contracts that other companies are throwing at them. We here at Extreme Championship Wrestling do not have the proper amount of money to support everyone therefore sometimes out performers leave for green pastures. What we do try to give you is the most exciting television show possible each and every week. I just wanted to personally thank everyone whose stuck with us since the beginning, your support is truly appreciated."

Paul Heyman left the ring to a standing ovation.

Overall Rating: 78%

Paul Heyman debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response.

Tag Team Championshp Tables Match

Pitbulls © vs. Team Dangerous!

- The Pitbulls were the defending tag team champions and tonight they would be squaring off against arch nemesis' Team Dangerous. Both teams were highly influenced by the puroresu style and started off hot and heavy with the stiff blows and suplexs'. Terry Gordy dominated Pitbull #1 inside the ring while his partner Steve Williams beat Pitbull #2 on the outside of the ring. Gordy set a table up in the corner and hit a t-bone suplex on Pitbull #1 to eliminate him from the match. Steve Williams drug Pitbull #2 into the ring and both himself and Terry Gordy took turns beating on him. Williams hit a powerbomb on Pitbull #2 through a table to end the match. As Team Dangerous were getting their newly won championships handed to them familiar rap music began playing in the arena. Public Enemy came to ringside carrying a table. They set it up on the outside of the ring then slid under the ropes attacking Team Dangerous. Rocco Rock clotheslined Steve Williams out over the top. Johnny Grunge set Terry Gordy across the table on the outside and Rocco Rock did a front flip onto him, leaving nothing but carnage down ringside.

Winner: New Tag Team Champions Team Dangerous!

Extreme TV Challenge

- Backstage Rhino Richards found Extreme Championship Wrestling comisshoner Paul Heyman and cornered him. Rhino demanded he get a Television Title shot on the next edition of Extreme TV. Heyman pleaded that he had to earn his title shots but Rhino snarled and said that he had already done that by taking out Jason Knight each and every week. Rhino backed Heyman farther into the corner and Heyman had no choice but to grant the title shot. What did that mean for Mikey Whipwreck?

Overall Rating: 78%

Rhino Richards gained 3 points of overness from this segment.

ECW World Title Barbwire Main Event Match

Shane Douglas © w/ Woman vs. The Sandman

- Earlier in the night The Sandman had forced Shane Douglas into a Barbwire match for his ECW World Title. Douglas was hesitant to get into the ring yet finally did and was immediatly attacked by The Sandman. Douglas tried to fight back but it was to no avail and he was whipped into the barbwire ropes. The Sandman grabbed his Signapore Cane and began smacking it across the back of Shane Douglas who was tied up in the barbwire that replaced the ropes.Woman created enough distraction midway thorugh the match which allowed Shane Douglas to go on the offensive. Douglas hit a DDT on a steel chair that was in the ring then lifted The Sandman to his feet. Douglas pouned on The Sandman then ran at him and hit a monkey flip that caused The Sandman to land in the barbwire upside down. The Sandman had barbwire tangled around his throat and the referee had no other choice but to stop the bout. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas was awared the victory but he kept on with his attack. From the back came to everyones suprise "Lion Heart" Chris Jericho Jericho slid into the ring and attacked Douglas from behind and then hit a powerbomb on Shane Douglas that laid him out. Jericho helped The Sandman out of the ropes then looked down at the ECW World Title and simply smirked as the show ended.

Winner: Shane Douglas.

Overall Rating: 62%

Crowd Reaction: 74%

Match Quality: 58%

Shane Douglas lost 5 points of overness from this feud ending.

The Sandman lost 5 points of overness from this feud ending.

The Sandman is losing overness because of his weak gimmick.

Thoughts: Ok, this was a disaster for some parts and very good for others. I'm glad to see Christopher Daniels and Homicide developing nicely and putting on great matches. Screw Jimmy Snuka for not being willing to put over Mike Whipwreck. Rhino Richards finally has appeared and let everyone know exactly who the attacker was which is a good thing because Rhino will put on some good matches I think. Chris Jericho is the savior of this company hopefully. The Sandman lost a shit load of overness from turning him back face so I really didn't want someone at 61 Over ruining the main title feud. I ended the feud in the game for Shane vs. Sandman and it cost me alot. Sucks cause Shane lost so much overness from it aswell, but we all make mistakes. Another thing that's really starting to blow is I'm not sure who made this scenario and no disrespect but they didn't do a very good job. All of the wrestlers make HUGE salaries back in 1994 for Independent workers and it's putting a HUGE strain on the company right now. We started out with 5 million dollars and even after making 600,000 from merchandise for Barely Legal we only have around 500 Thousand left to work on. When guys like Shane make 100 Thousand for just appearing it puts a financial drain on the bank book. I'm afraid before the next large show I'm going to go bankrupt. That sucks because when I started this and did the back story I was very excited about this diary. As it's gone on and I've lost star after star, and then now the money situation it's almost like ... oh well. But alas I'll keep doing this till I either make it succeed or go bankrupt.

Two Options

With that I have two options and please help me decide what to do.

1. Fire all of the guys who make a shit load of money and hire relative no namers and try to develop them and turn them into the 'new' ECW. With doing that I'd be getting rid of guys like, The Sandman, Shane Douglas, Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, Stan Hansen, Paul Heyman, Kevin Sullivan, Jimmy Snuka, and Chris Jericho. These are all guys who make over 40,000 per apperance and we just can't afford that according to the game.

2. Second choice is to keep all of the above guys and just try and wait it out and see if we either go bankrupt or make it.

Please, help me choose what I should do as this is to entertain you as much as it is to entertain me. Even if you just reply with the number 1 or the number 2, it'll give me an idea of what you all think I should do. Thanks.

i personally like this story, but if guys are getting so much for independent work, sonmethings gone wrong, written contracts are usually starting at 60k and are going up from there, ppa contracts are usualy very low because its just that, pay-per appearance.

i suggest doing neither of the above and using an editor to create more believable wage salaries, and then, if need be, "refunding" the money that you lost due to the stupidly high wages no-one had back then.

What I think happened is whoever made this segment only re-did names, removed the 'new' workers and made the companies. I don't believe they edited any stats or change the wages or any of that. That's why guys are getting paid such SUPER high wages way back in 1994 when they barely make that now in 2006. I mean lets be honest if Shane Douglas was making 100,000 per apperance, TNA would be bankrupt by now. Either way, I'll take your suggestion into consideration and still wait a bit for some more suggestions. Thanks for commenting.

Jericho shouted at Douglas to answer but nothing was said. Finally Douglas shook his head no and then proceeded to yell at Jericho in return telling him that he had to earn his title shots around here. Jericho promised he'd earn his title shot and the two broke out into a fight that was seperated by security.

Television Title 4 Corners Main Event

Jason Knight © vs. Rhino Richards vs. Yuji Nagata vs. Mikey Whipwreck

- The originally scheduled match of Jason Knight and Rhino Richards had now turned into a four way brawl. Both Nagata and Whipwreck felt they were being passed up and invited themselves into this match. All four men started out brawling with eachother as they all had scores to settle. The middle of the match saw many near falls as both Nagata and Whipwreck almost won the match and became the new champion. Towards the end of the match Rhino "gored" both Nagata and Whipwreck before being hit with a piledriver by Knight. Jason Knight then covered Yuji Nagata for the pinfall as the show ended.

Winner: Jason Knight via pinfall.

Extreme TV Preview

- Plus more.

Extreme Championship Wrestling would like to announce that we have secured a talent from another promotion who will be making his debut in the company in one short month. Who is that talent you ask yourself? Well just keep watching and sticking to the cards and you will soon find out as he is poised to make a huge impact here as he has in the past. It should be quite a rude suprise.

Also in the news coming around from the wrestling world is both United States Wrestling Association (USWA) and Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) are close to filing for chapter eleven bankruptcy. If this were to occur that would leave the landscape of the wrestling world in total chaos. The current top promotions in the country are; World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation, United States Wrestling Association, Smokey Mountain Wrestling and then Global Wrestling Federation. We are considered to be the number five promotion with only Global Wrestling Federation after us. If you were to remove the number three promotion (United States Wrestling Association) and Global Wrestling Federation from existence due to bankruptcy you can only imagine the effect on the landscape on the wrestling industry.

Also in news is the fact that out of a public poll Extreme Championship Wrestling was heard of by 77% of people who took the poll where originally at the beginning of last month only 60% of the people polled knew who we were. That is huge news for us as we have gained 17% public image in just over one month.

And now finally for the Extreme TV Preview:

Opening Bout

Christopher Daniels vs. Jimmy Snuka

Tag Team Four Way

One member of each team will take place in this match, the winning team earns a tag team title shot next week.

Axl Rotten vs. Headhunter A vs. Pitbull #2 vs. Rocco Rock

Main Event

Chris Jericho vs. The Sandman

Hansen went for his patended Lariet and missed nailing Snuka. Daniels locked on the "Koji Clutch" and earned a tap out victory. Drinking Beer

- The Sandman had lost his match at Barely Legal and inturn been put on the back burner to the debut of Chris Jericho. Of course this wouldn't sit well with the beer drinking, cigarette smoking, Sandman. Tonight infront of a live crowd The Sandman came to the ring with a microphone and proceeded to "Shoot" on the buisness.

The Sandman: "At Barely Legal I did my fucking job and do you see what it got me? Nothing. It got me pushed back into mid-card level bullshit where I'm not even on the shows. I had barbwire wrapped around my throat and almost died for you fans and this company continues to give me absolutely fucking nothing. Tonight, I wrestle Chris Jericho as part of his fucking test. Jericho didn't do shit in this god damn company and now he's getting all these shots handed to him. This is fucking bullshit and tonight I'm going to kill him. Watch me."

The Sandman left the ring after throwing a beer can in the audience and then tossing the microphone down onto the canvas causing a loud feedback problem.

Overall Rating: 68%

Singles Match

Mikey Whipwreck vs. Homicide

- Homicide came off of a win last week and was looking to up his credibility in the company with a win over a well developed mid-carder. Mikey started out the match trying to land a few punches but in classic Mikey Whipwreck fashion he never landed a single strike or move. Homicide ducked and dodged everything thrown at him before hitting a "Koji Cutter" for the pinfall.

Winner: Homicide via pinfall.

Overall Rating: 74%

Crowd Reaction: 48%

Match Quality: 100%

Personal Note: Can you say, OH HELL YES~! 100% Match Quality!

Mile High Club

- Television Champion Jason Knight was in the ring with a microphone when the familiar music of Rhino Richards hit. Knight looked towards the entrance begging Rhino to come out and face him like a man. Instead Rhino snuck in from the back and attacked the Television Champion. Rhino sat Knight on the top rope and then hit a piledriver off the top rope, inducting Knight as the first member of the Mile High Club. Rhino had just hit his own modified version of Knights "Sexy Driver", only Rhinos was much more dangerous.

- All four men started the match out brawling which lead two of the four outside the ring. Inside the ring Axl and Rocco Rock were battling it out with chairs as from the back came Steve Williams into the ring. Axl Rotten took advantage and scored a pinfall for his team earning a tag team titles shot next week.

Winner: Axl Rotten via pinfall.

Overall Rating: 53%

Crowd Reaction: 48%

Match Quality: 59%

Call Out

- Chris Jericho was unsuccessful last week to coax Shane Douglas into defending his ECW World Title and was in the ring again this week trying to do the same. Douglas was ringside and refused to get into the ring. "Enter The Sandman" began play as The Sandman made his way ringside with his Signapore Cane and the main event began.

Overall Rating: 75%

Chris Jericho gained 1 point of overness from this segment.

Main Event Match

Chris Jericho must earn his World Title Shot.

Chris Jericho vs. The Sandman

- Jericho tried striking The Sandman to no avail as he was struck with the Signapore Cane. The Sandman grabbed a chair from ringside and climbed back into the ring. The Sandman took over the match with brutal chair shots to the face of Chris Jericho. The World Champion Shane Douglas was shouting instructions from ringside which grabbed the attention of The Sandman. Jericho got to his feet and hit a belly to back side suplex as the first wrestling hold of the match. Douglas slid under the bottom rope and visciously attacked Chris Jericho with The Sandmans Signapore Cane. The referee threw the match out citing that it interfered with the rules of the match. Shane Douglas continued to beat on Chris Jericho as The Sandman climbed out of the ring and walked away from the carnage in the ring.

This is a decent diary man but I see alot of things wrong with it.

-Please run your diary through spell check I don't fuss much about spelling mistakes but when you have been typing "Lariet" every single match Hansen was involved in and the fact that his character revolves around the Lariat is disturbing

-I really dont like adding Homicide into the product so early but whatever suits you I guess just dont do what some others did and pull in AJ Styles/newer indy guys

-It just doesnt feel ECW to me, I am not sure was there EVER a time limit in ECW? did they ever have security guards storm and break up fights? I dont think so just little tid-bits like that.

Positives:

-I like the debut of Rhino and Jericho you didn't go over the top nabbing big overness stars but instead concentrated on two people ECW really did sign and in one case missed the ball with(Jericho) if used correctly Jericho can be what Christian Cage is to TNA to ECW, Rhino is class as always I like this Mile High Club thing you got going

-The TV Title Scene is amazing with Homicide,Whipwreck,Rhino,Nagata and such putting in a good combination of matches Rhino vs Nagata would be very interesting to say the least but come on we need more GORE GORE GORE~!~!-age.

-I like how you made the World Title Scene proper with the addition of Jericho.

-You Also have the Sandman portrayed nicely as a guy who takes no shit and rips through people with his cane.

This diary overall gets a grade of C.

glad to see this is still running, two questions though.

1. What did you end up doing regarding the contract situation?

and 2. Homicide won the main event?

Opening Bout

Homicide vs. Jimmy Snuka

- Oh yay we get another week of Jimmy Snuka jobbing out because he is a piece of shit and doesn't like working with the new guys. So Homicide beat the shit out of him with stiff shots to the face and even forked Snuka half way through the match. Homicide then toyed with him and hit a 'Koji Cutter' where he could have gotten a three count but didn't even bother. Homicide threw Snuka outside and then ran and dove through the ropes with his 'Tope Con Hilo', the crowd ate it up chanting ECW! ECW! ECW! Homicide rolled Snuka back in and hit him with a 'Cop Killa' for the victory. Homicide stayed in the ring and beat up on Snuka some more trying to teach him a lesson that the new breed was here.

Flames

- Last week The Sandman was screwed out of a victory when he was in a heated match with Chris Jericho. The man who screwed him? Shane Douglas. This week The Sandman was in the center of a ring, perched ontop of a ladder with a beer can in one hand and a microhpone in the other.

The Sandman: "Last week I came out here and talked about how I got screwed at the pay per view then burried on television the week after when they didn't even bother to show my face. Then I was put into a match with Chris Jericho who was brought in to steal the spotlight from me. Shit, some people keep running around asking me, where are your loyalities Sandman? Who do you trust, can anyone trust you? I say fuck loyalty and fuck anyone who wants to trust me. Tonight I'm in a triple threat and Douglas is too much of a fuckin' coward to put his belt on the line. That's just as well because after I win tonight the front office will have no fuckin' other choice then to name me the number one contender. If they don't like that shit, they can step into the ring with me and be the next to get caned."

The Sandman climbed down from the ladder and chugged his beer. He threw the microphone to the man ringside and then left the ringside area as the fans chanted his name.

Overall Rating: 75%

The Sandman gained 3 points of overness from this segment.

Singles Match

Yuji Nagata vs. Rhino Richards

- Rhino Richards and Yuji Nagata were both hot in pursuit of the Television Champion and were set to clash in this singles bout tonight. Yuji Nagata was a master of strikes, kicks, and chops whereas Rhino was known for his no stopping, smash mouth offense and high impact moves. Nagata tried kicking at the stalky Rhino to stop him but to no avail as Rhino overpowered him with various suplexes and slams. Nagata mounted a comeback with various submissions and looked to be in a position to win when Jason Knight appeared at the entrance. Nagata lost focus long enough for Rhino to hit the GORE~!. As Rhino tried for the pinfall Knight slid into the ring and attacked Rhino and Nagata both. The move proved to be foolish as soon Nagata and Richards worked together to put a beating on Jason Knight leaving the Television Champion down in the center of the ring with his match next.

Winner: No Contest via interference.

Crowd Reaction: 57%

Television Title Singles Match

Jason Knight © vs. Christopher Daniels

- Knight was already down in the ring when Daniels came rushing to the ring and covered him for a two count. Daniels started applying every submission he had learned trying to wear Knight out and get an early victory in this Television Title Match. Nothing seemed to work as Knight refused to give up, Daniels looked frustrated and made a rookie mistake when he diverted his attention away from Knight. As Daniels came back over Knight hit him in the face with the Television Title was in the ring and then covered Daniels for the quick three count. Knight slid out of the ring and ran through the crowd trying his best to escape anymore beatings for tonight.

Winner: Jason Knight via pinfall.

Overall Rating: 72%

Crowd Reaction: 65%

The ECW Television title has gained in image.

Ariving Late

- In the parking lot a camera man caught Chris Jericho stepping out of his rental car. Jericho pulled his bags out of the trunk and headed for the arena. It was apparent that Chris Jericho had missed The Sandman's tyrade earlier in the night and was oblivous to the fact The Sandman didn't plan on working together against a common enemy.

Overall Rating: 84%

Chris Jericho gained 1 point of overness from this segment.

Tag Team Title Match Match

Bad Breed vs. Team Dangerous! ©

- Last week Axl Rotten earned his team a Tag Team Championship match right here on Extreme TV and it was time to cash in. Axl and Williams battled on the outside of the ring as Gordy and Ian stayed inside the ring. Both teams were brawlers with Team Dangerous! being a bit more rounded when it came to their repitore of moves. Gordy took advantage of Ian Rotten with some combination back breakers and slams. The Pitbulls came running down to ringside and beat on Steve Williams before putting him through a table at ringside. Then both Pitbulls got in the ring and beat the hell out of Terry Gordy putting him through another table that was at ringside. The Pitbulls grabbed the Tag Team Titles and celebrated the mess they had created.

Winner: No Contest.

Calling Who?

- A camera man came upon Shane Douglas who was standing in his locker room talking on his cellular phone. Douglas was asking about tonight when he noticed the camera man watching in on his conversation. Douglas sat the phone down and then began yelling at the camera man before pushing him out of his locker room.

Overall Rating: 83%

Triple Threat Main Event Match

Chris Jericho vs. The Sandman vs. Shane Douglas

- All three men went straight to brawling from the very beginning of the match. Suprisingly enough The Sandman and Jericho didn't work together to hurt, injure, or even kill the World Champion instead most of the match they were brawling between themselves. Douglas often took it easy watching the other two men work eachother over. Towards the end of the match The Sandman looked to be close to winning the match with Jericho on the outside and Douglas in trouble. Someone came running down to ringside though and threw something to Douglas. The Sandman turned around and got cracked in the skull with a pair of brass knuckles. Paul Heyman jumped up into the ring as the referee counted three. Douglas and Heyman celebrated the win as the show went off the air.

Winner: Shane Douglas via pinfall by outside interference.

Noooooo~!

- ECW Basically Died.

Monday November 21st, 1994 is the day that Extreme Championship Wrestling hoped to never have to face. Last night was a huge day for the wrestling world as World Wrestling Federation presented Survivor Series and World Championship Wrestling had it's November edition of Clash Of The Champions.

Stemming off of two huge pay per views, World Championship Wrestling felt the need to hire all of the top talent on the independent wrestling scene they possibly could. As has happened many times here recently World Championship Wrestling officials, namely one Eric Bischoff, looked to Extreme Championship Wrestling for future talent.

The talent inwhich has signed written contracts with World Championship Wrestling?

Ladies and Gentlemen Extreme Championship Wrestling sadly announces the resignation of one half of the Tag Team Champions and one half of Team Dangerous!, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. World Championship Wrestling has offered a written contract to Mr. Gordy and he agreed to terms last night after Clash Of the Champions drew an outstanding 1.75 Pay Per View buyrate.

But that's not all~!

The second and final man that World Championship Wrestling has taken away from Extreme Championship Wrestling is none other then our World Heavyweight Champion Shane "The Franchise" Douglas! Yes, after Clash Of The Champions did record numbers Shane Douglas agreed to go work for the much large company. Relenquishing the World Title in the process and leaving Extreme Championship Wrestling without a champion, Shane Douglas turned his back on the company that made him into a star.

Now, I, Paul Heyman will die on the inside as I try to figure out and understand just exactly where in the HELL things keep going wrong.
