Well let's put it this way: all of the movies from the Best Movie category (with the possible exception of King Kong, which I haven't seen) I preferred to Brokeback Mountain, as well as Capote, and the Oscars are supposed to be DEFINITIVE. The MTV Movie Awards are what they are, but at least they don't command the same kind of influence.

I disagree with the notion that any of those movies save maybe Batman Begins were on par with Capote, but that's another story (to be fair, I've yet to see Wedding Crashers or 40 Year-Old Virgin).

I am happy to see Kung-Fu Hustle nominated, though, even if it is the wrong fight entirely.

Wow Kong versus the T-Rex's was so much better then the plane fight. Loved the rest of the Best Fight nominee's though, not able to really choose which one I like best.

The 40 Year Old Virgin was beyond shit.

And the lack of "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" (Which I may seem to love far too much, but there's a reason. It was when of the best films released last year and it gets NO LOVE at all) in any catagory (I'd definately have thrown Robert Downey Jr in best comedic performance at least).
