Friday Night Smackdown Results

Announce Team - Michael Cole and Eric Bischoff

Normal Smackdown Opening, with video, music, fireworks and then panning around the crowd as Michael Cole and Eric Bischoff welcomes us to Smackdown! Bischoff talks about the cruiserweight title match tonight and says about how he was the one that found cruiserweights while in WCW. Cole then hypes the 8 man tag team main event which shall pit Team Mysterio against Team Angle! But first lets find out who the contender for the US Title is!

US Title Contender Sorted Out

We go straight backstage as Mr Kennedy and Matt Hardy and backstage in Theodore Long’s office. He welcomes both playas, and explains that what JBL did last week was not apart of the deal. He promised JBL that he would be defending the title at Vengeance and that’s what he is still going to do. Hardy said he didn’t mind having a rematch with Kennedy next week but Long said there was no need because on July 30th at Vengeance it shall be John Bradshaw Layfield defending his United States Title against Mr Kennedy! And Matt Hardy in a 3 Corners elimination match! Kennedy and Hardy both seemed pleased as they stared down and then shook hands each showing respect and saying let the best man win!

Jamie Noble vs Gregory Helms (For The WWE Cruiserweight Title)

What a great match to start off Smackdown as Jamie Nobel looks extremely fired up for this match after pinning Helms last week in 6 Man Tag action. This was a great show of technical skill throughout the match as both stars countered each other in amazing fashion. Helms kicked Nobel straight in the gut and then bounced off the ropes connecting with the Shining Wizard! He got the 3 count but then the referee saw that Nobel had got his foot on the bottom rope before the 3rd Count! The match continued as Helms set up Nobel for the Vertebreaker and apparently Helms has been allowed to use the move by WWE officials now on but Nobel managed to wriggle free and connect with the Tiger Bomb! The crowd were calling for Nobel to make the pin but instead he locked in the Trailerhitch showing great flow between moves. After a few moments of struggling Helms had to tap and The Self Proclaimed Greatest Crusierweight Champion ever has lost his title to Nobel! Nobel grabbed the belt and climbed the turnbuckle celebrating with the crowd and going mad with excitement. The redneck is the new Cruiserweight Champion!

Hi mate now as you have done loads of shows i will just review the last show you done.

Now the us title match at vengence between JBL, Matt Hardy and Ken Kennedy looks promising i predict Kennedy will win due to his dissapointing loss over Matt Hardy so keep it up.

Next is Noble vs Helms came as a suprise when Noble beat Helms but then when helms said that teddy long has ordered a rematch was a very funny segment when Noble was spraying Champagne all over and helms says i have a rematch ha ha.

Gunner scott vs Burchill i like the fued between them and Regal in it very good.

Little Surprising when Kennedy didn't do his top rope Kennnedyy thing.

Lashley vs Benoit was a very entertainging match and even got me playing with me wrestlers lol.

Now the Main event was absouloltey great and i loved it how Reys team won the match cant wait till next smackdown.

Veterbreaker Back In

From what we saw on Smackdown Gregory Helms has been told by WWE Officials that he may now reuse his old finisher the Vertebreaker. A while ago Helms was told he was not to use the move anymore due to it being quite dangerous but officials have no cleared him to use it. OVW Tag Champ Homicide who shall be in ECW anytime soon also uses it as a finishing move and many believe in the back that if both can use the move safely then they do not mind.

Technical Roster

After Smackdown aired last night PWInsider found out that WWE Officials wants Smackdown to be a show which focuses on the Cruiserweights as well as the Technical Wrestlers alot more. With Helms vs Nobel last night many backstage were amazed at the moves and counters that each star were making in the match. The same can be said with the last couple of matches between Regal, Birchall and Gunner Scott. Officials in the back have noticed that the crowd appreciate technical wrestling alot more, hence the reason for The American Dragon Bryan Danielson being signed to a development contract. It has been rumoured that he shall be called into a fued with Regal before going into a fued with the winner of the proposed Angle / Benoit Fued leading into Summerslam.

Vengeance Poster revealed, WWE News.

The Vengeance poster has been released by WWE.com tonight. As you can see it seems to be focusing on the Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle fued that has been happening on the Smackdown Brand. With Smackdown seen as the weakest brand at the moment WWE officials have been trying to focus alot of the advertising on Smackdown to get it some more fans. In the next few weeks as announced throughout the last couple of weeks Smackdown shall be introducing some new talent to the rosters. Expected to get pushes are Test, Bryan Danielson, Rob Conway, Doug Basham and WWE have also been thinking about repackaging Eugene into his original character Nick Dinmorse. Nick was seen as a very talented technical wrestler but has been limited with the Eugene role more as we get it.

Breaking News!

Rey Mysterio has apparently pulled his knee ligaments at a Smackdown House Show over the Weekend. The World Champion is going into surgery tommorow and is expected to be out between 12 - 16 months. The accident happened when Mysterio was fighting Kurt in the main event. Rey attempted the West Coast Pop but Kurt ducked and Rey was meant to land on his feet. However Rey slipped and his knee twisted in the other direction. The referee straight away threw the X indicating his was injured ligit. This Friday on Smackdown Long has announced that he will make a statement regarding the World Title. We wish Rey a full and quick recovery.

Raw Preview

Tonight The Big Show makes his return to RAW looking to get some revenge on his former tag team partner Kane from the attack 2 weeks ago. Vince McMahon has booked The Big Red Machine in a hardcore match to settle this war once and for all. For months now Kane has been tormented by the date May 19th we heard the beginning of the story by his stalker last week and he promised Chapter 2 would be told tonight.

Also what shall happen in the next installment in the war between the RAW WWE Champion John Cena, Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin and their challengers The Game Triple H and Carlito? Last week Vince booked all 4 men in singles matches against each other and the show went off the air with Triple H and Carlito standing tall in the middle fo the ring staring at the Owner of the WWE Vince McMahon on the stage. Vince will be looking to get rid of these thorns in his side once more this week on Monday Night RAW.

The Spirit Squad told Val Venis last week that until he showed some Spirit he wouldn't get near the tag team titles again. The Spirit Squad have been given the night off as Val Venis and Chavo team up to face the experience team of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

Shane McMahon's newest client The French Stallion Rene Dupree will once again be looking to take out the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels as last week Dupree left HBK a bloody mess in the middle of the ring, with these two stars looking to fight each other at Vengeance you would think that HBK would be looking to extract some revenge against Shane and Dupree tonight as Rene goes one on one with the special one Eugene.

Another match was made last week as Ric Flair challenged the Rated R Superstar Edge in a Steel Cage Match at Vengeance. Edge called himself the newest dirtiest player in the game and Flair called Edge's girlfriend a skank saying the reason that he wants it in a steel cage is so he doesn't catch anything from Lita. Tonight Edge and Lita team up against Ric Flair and a Diva of Flair's choosing. All this and much much more only on Monday Night RAW.

Confirmed Matches

Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs Val Venis & Chavo Guerrero

RAW Results

Announce Team - Simon Inoki and Dusty Rhodes

Out Before It Began

We get a recap on what happened in the main event last week between Triple H and Shelton Benjamin. After that it’s the usual opening music video of Monday Night RAW. Before we have any pyro or welcoming from Inoki and Rhodes we are straight backstage to where Carlito is on the mic next to Maria. Carlito then issues a challenge to Shelton for tonight saying that he doesn’t want to wait until the next Pay Per View he wants Shelton’s IC Title tonight. Well he would have if Shelton hadn’t of ran into the scene and took out Carlito. Shelton began to stomp away on his before grabbing a chair and then smashing it straight over the head of the Number One Contender for the IC Title. Benjamin then grabs Carlito and drops him on the concrete with a sick looking T-Bone Suplex. Benjamin is pulled off by agents as Paramedics work on the decimated Carlito.

79%

Rene Dupree w/Shane McMahon vs Eugene

A great technical bout between the two superstars. I was quite shocked myself on how well these two clicked in their match as there were many close falls. Eugene almost got the three count when he hit The Rock Bottom on Dupree but McMahon put Rene’s foot on the bottom rope as the referee was making the count. The finish came when Eugene went for the Stunner but Dupree countered pushing Eugene face first into the turnbuckle and the rolled him up holding the tights in the process for the 3 count! Shane got into the ring and ordered Dupree to hit The French Connection but as Rene lifted up Eugene into the air HBK came running down the ramp, with a bandage across his head from the attack last week and began brawling with him. He managed to get the upperhand before nailing Shane across the jaw for good measure and then landed the Sweet Chin Music on his Vengeance Opponent! Shawn slid out the ring and up the ramp as Shane checked on his client.

OR – 70% CR – 73% MQ – 83%

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Todd Grisham catches up with HBK backstage as he questions his motives tonight. Shawn said it was simple last week Dupree sent a message to HBK and this week he was repaying the favour. If Dupree didn’t side with Shane he wouldn’t of been caught up in this mess but at Vengeance he is going to put him out of his misery once and for all.

93%

Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs Venis and Chavo

Basic match here which the crowd really didn’t like especially after the HBK segment. Didn’t really help that Murdoch and Cade didn’t really sell that much which hurt Venis and Guerrero who look to blend really well as a tag team. The finish came when Chavo nailed the Brainbuster on Murdoch and Venis came off the top rope with the Money Shot for the Three Count. Afterwards Venis and Chavo stood in the ring signalling that soon the Tag Titles would be theirs.

OR – 55% CR – 64% MQ – 58%

Trevor Murdoch didn't really sell very much, which hurt the match rating.

Hardcore TV! Preview

Tonight Paul Heyman has announced that the ECW World Tag Team Titles shall be returning to the company and live on Hardcore TV a Tournament to crown the new champions will be held tonight! 6 Teams will compete in 3 matches and the winners will face off against each other in a 3 Way Ladder Match.

The Impact Players, The Blue World Order, The Extreme Horsemen, The F.B.I, Danny Doring and Roadkill as well as Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck shall fight it out to be crowned the new champions. With the on going war between the bWo and the Extreme Horsemen you can only imagine that both teams will be looking to make a impact in their rivals matches.

Also last week Rhino made a huge impact when he returned the to company. He brought back the World and TV titles back to Heyman but after Heyman refused to name him World Champion Rhino gored the ECW Owner in the middle of the ring.

Later on in the main event Taz teamed up with Rhino and dismantled Sabu and Rob Van Dam. RVD looks to get some revenge this week as he faces Rhino in a singles match. With his match against Taz at Vengance for the World Title coming soon you can only expect that Taz shall be watching with a close eye to scout out his opponent.

Also CM Punk seems to have caught the attention of Tommy Dreamer. The so called Straight Edged Punk believes that he doesn't need any weapons to beat his opponents and so far he has proved the whole of ECW that he is right. Last week he beat The Sandman in the middle of the ring after being beaten down and bloodied but straight after the match Dreamer ran down and landed a Dreamer Driver through a table! This week Punk and Dreamer both have matches as Dreamer goes one on one against Mike Awesome and CM Punk will face off against another former ECW Star Nova. All this and more on Hardcore TV!

ECW Hardcore TV Results!!!

We go straight into a video recap of what happened last week with the return of the last ever World and TV Champion Rhino. Opening Music and the video straight after as Cyrus the Virus and Joey Styles welcome us to another ECW Hardcore TV. Styles hypes the upcoming Tag Title Tournament tonight and reiterates that at the end of the show we will have new ECW Tag Team Champions.

World Title Coming Home

Taz opens the show as he makes his way down to the ring with huge heat from the crowd. He grabs a mic and then explains to everyone here and watching on TV that last week was just a preview of what will happen to Rob Van Dam at Vengeance. Taz says he is the next World Champion and there is no one that is going to stand in his way. RVD comes out to a huge ovation and stands on the rampway as RVD informs Taz that the only way he is walking out with the World Title is that if RVD has to be carried out of the arena in a body bag. RVD then informs Taz that at Vengeance it shall be RVD vs Taz World Title in a ECW Rules Match because lets be honest this is ECW. RVD drops the mic as Taz looks on in a pissed off mood. Good to see there Feud getting some air time, and the crowd really seem to be pleased that both stars are being pushed as the Main Eventers of ECW.

76%

Whipwreck and Tajiri vs The Extreme Horsemen

The beginning of the Tag Team Title Tournament started us off tonight as The Extreme Horsemen battled Tajiri and Whipwreck. Once again Kazarian and Diamond used every cheap trick in the books to overcome the odds of the experienced team of Tajiri and Whipwreck. CW Anderson the Enforcer of the Extreme Horsemen kept on getting involved but was soon dispatched by a Green Mist from Tajiri. As the referee tended to Anderson on the outside, Whipwreck set up Kazarian for the Whipper Snapper and landed it!!! There was no ref to make the count though as Diamond levelled Tajiri in the outside with a Superkick and then the masked man who has been helping the Extreme Horsemen all these weeks ran through the crowd and took down Whipwreck with a chair. Diamond lifted Whipwreck up and landed the Inverted DDT! The masked man went back through the crowd as Kazarian made the cover and the ref slid back in 1..2…3 and The Extreme Horsemen has cheated themselves through to the Final of the Tournament!

Picking Up The Pieces

Dawn Marie is backstage with The Impact Players in their locker room. Dawn basically announced that once tonight finished we shall be seeing the new ECW Tag Team Champions. Marie said that they will let the b.W.o and The Extreme Horsemen beat the living hell into each other when they look for revenge and The Impact Players will just pick up the pieces.

71%

CM Punk vs Blue Nova

A Great Technical bout between the b.W.o member as the upcoming new comer. Punk even though is playing the heel seems to picking up quite a few fans in the arenas he comes to. No weapons were used in this match, even though it was announced as a hardcore match, but neither man needed it when the finish came as Nova seemed to have set up Punk for the Kryptonite Krunch but CM Punk managed to lift himself up and wrap him arms around the throat of Nova and then roll his legs around his waist into an amazing counter straight into the Anaconda Vice!!! After a couple of moments Nova loses consciousness and the match is awarded to the impressive Punk!

OR – 81% CR – 70% MQ – 93%

The Man Beast

We are treated to a video package of The Man Beast Rhino. Old ECW Clips are shown as well as his debut last week when he gored Paul Heyman as well dismantling RVD and Sabu in the main event. It ends with the words “The Man Beast, Unstoppable?”

75%

Tommy Dreamer vs Mike Awesome

Battle of the brawlers as Joey Styles still seems bitter from when Awesome walked out on ECW during the first run. Dreamer threw everything at the big man and was eventually winning. However a quick shift in momentum set up Dreamer for the Awesome Bomb and then Awesome went up top obviously looking for the Awesome Splash but Dreamer managed to roll out of the way!!! Dreamer got up as the dazed Mike Awesome also staggered up, kick to the gut Dreamer DDT! Dreamer makes the cover 1…2…. No Three Count as CM Punk is back and pulls out the referee. The ref argues with Punk but then is victim of a Spinning Wheel Kick to the head! Punk slides into the ring as him and Dreamer both meet each other with right hands, the ref calls for the bell as both men are livid on beating the living hell into each other. Punk seemed to get the upperhand as he signalled for the Anaconda Vice but Dreamer managed to roll out of the way and slid out of the ring. He grabbed his Kendo Stick and then slid back in but Punk quickly bailed and walked up the rampway as he and Dreamer traded words as we go to a commercial break.

OR – 74% CR – 71% MQ – 78%

Impact Players w/Dawn Marie vs Doring and Roadkill

Match 2 of the Tournament and I’ve gotta admit I can see why Dawn Marie was saying The Impact Players are walking away with the titles but they looked impressive to say the least. They easily dispatched of Doring and Roadkill and I’m beginning to think that they are becoming the Job Squad in the last few weeks which is disappointing as they do have talent. A clean finish from the Impact Players when Storm connected with the Super Kick and then locked in the Canadian Mapleleaf for the submission victory. So in the main event it will be the Extreme Horsemen vs Impact Players vs either the bWo or the FBI for the titles.

OR – 74% CR – 67% MQ – 81%

b.W.o vs The FBI III

Well we have seen this match a couple of times before in ECW but not with the addition of Trent Acid which helped the quality of the match ten fold. It looked on several occasions that either team shall pick up the victory. But the end of the match saw interference from the Extreme Horsemen as Kazarian distracted the ref and Diamond slid into the ring with a chair, he tried to nail Acid but he ducked and nailed Little Guido instead! Richards took out Diamond as Acid picked up Guido, Acid Bomb! 1…2….3 And The Extreme Horsemen’s plan has backfired, bWo vs Impact Players vs Extreme Horsemen in the Main Event for the Titles!

OR – 69% CR – 57% MQ – 82%

Time to Feel The GORE

Rhino is at the interview area backstage where he basically destroyed RVD verbally showing that this is the charisma which got him noticed in the original ECW. Rhino recaps last week where he proved to the world that he deserves to be the World Champion. He mentions that Taz earlier on said he will go through anyone to get that title but the feelings mutual and some day down the line Taz, just like RVD tonight will feel the GORE!

73%

Rob Van Dam vs Rhino

Back and Forth match here between ECW Veterans. Rhino seems mightily impressive and we can see why Heyman wanted to sign Rhino to the new ECW Brand. Highlights in the match included Rhino landing a Piledriver off the ring apron to the floor below which seemed to knock RVD into tim-but-too. Just after that RVD somehow managed to throw Rhino into the crowd and then plancha off the ropes straight over the guard rail into the crowd and straight onto Rhino. Late on Rhino set up for the Gore but RVD jumped the move, spun straight round and landed a roundhouse kick to Rhino. RVD climbed the turnbuckle and landed the 5 Star Frogsplash 1..2..3 Forget about it. RVD celebrates to the crowd but doesn’t notice Rhino is back up and is victim of a devastating Gore!!! Rhino leaves with the damage done but passes Taz on the rampway. They both stare down each other before Taz gets into the ring stalks RVD who is getting up from the sick Gore and locks in the Tazzmission! RVD has been dismantled once again tonight due to the hands of Taz and Rhino.

OR – 82% CR – 80% MQ – 84%

Impact Players vs The Extreme Horsemen vs b.W.o (For The ECW Tag Team Titles)

And here it is. The final match of the tournament, one team shall walk out with the ECW Tag Team Titles tonight. Wasn’t the quality match that everyone thought it would be as the b.W.o and Extreme Horsemen took it to each other pretty badly as there ongoing rivalry continued tonight. Lance Storm and Justin Credible basically picked up the pieces as they collected the Ladder and dropped Simon Diamond with a Ladder straight to the face. Stevie tried to take Storms head off with a Stevie Kick but Storm just grabs the leg and then throws him over the top rope. It left both Impact Players, Trent Acid and Frankie Kazarian in the ring as the Impact Players took out both of the remaining members. Credible set up the ladder and let Storm climb up and Credible kept out of the remaining competitors if they tried to climb in as Storm unhooked the titles are we have new ECW Tag Team Champions! As the show comes to an End the Impact Players are celebrating in the middle of the ring as The Blue World Order and The Extreme Horsemen are fighting up the ramp and to the backstage area.

OR – 82% CR – 76% MQ – 88%

Smackdown! Preview

With the breaking news earlier on this week that Rey Mysterio has suffered a career threatning injury to his knee the Smackdown Lockerroom have been wondering what is happening with the World Title. One man inparticular has been trying to find out The Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. He was scheduled to challenge Rey for the title at Vengeance but now with no World Champion Kurt is demanding Theodore Long announces him the World Champion by default. How ever Theodore Long told WWE.com that he shall be announcing a worthy opponent for Angle and that everyone must tune in on Friday Night Smackdown to find out who.

The three way battle for the United States title hits boiling point tonight. With Long announcing that Mr Kennedy, Matt Hardy and the champion John Bradshaw Layfield shall face off in a triple threat for the title at Vengeance he has ordered a three way tag team match were each opponent can choose their own tag team partner. With Bradshaw and Kennedy not having many friends on the Smackdown roster you must wonder who is desperate enough to team with them. Another question is who will Matt have as his partner many people throughout the week have offered their services but according to Hardy he has already organised his partner.

After becoming the new Crusierweight Champion last week Jamie Nobel will face off against the rookie of Paul Brichall this week. Expect both stars to bring a good technical bout with them but will Gregory Helms make his Vengeance Opponent's night a living hell. Helms is hell bent on getting his title back since last week and possibly when Nobel's back is turned Helms will look for the advantage.

Also the on going battle between the so called Kings of the Ring that are Booker T and Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley and Chris Benoit continue. After their tag team match last week everyone thought that their rivalry would be finished and over but after the match Orton landed a RKO on Benoit and it seems like it shall be the next chapter in this war. Also MNM will be in tag team action against The Mexicools, expect the tag champions Spanky and Paul London to be watching their Vengeance opponents closely after last week's main event when MNM hit the snapshot on Kendrick straight onto the rampway this battle for the titles seem like its reaching its peak.

All this and much much more only on Friday Night Smackdown!

Friday Night Smackdown Results

Announce Team - Michael Cole and Eric Bischoff

The Smackdown tune hits the speakers as the crowd are on there feet for the show. Before Bischoff or Cole can say a word the Smackdown GM’s music hits the speakers and it looks like we are going to be finding out just who Kurt Angle’s opponent shall be for Vengeance. Theodore walks down the rampway with the Smackdown Title over his shoulder. He climbs into the ring and gets handed a microphone. Long says that Rey Mysterio is definitely going to be missed on the show and that it is a tragic accident with Mysterio out for a while but it also means that he has this title over his shoulder with no owner. He heard Angle demand himself to be named the new World Champion by default and he wants Angle out here right now!

Kurt’s music hits the speakers with the crowd booing and chanting You Suck to the Olympic Gold Medallist. He gets on the mic and thanks Theodore for the opportunity to represent the Smackdown brand by having that World title around his waist. Long interrupts and tells Angle that he thinks Kurt is getting the wrong end of the stick here. The only reason Long called Angle out was to tell him face to face who his opponent for Vengeance shall be, and if he can beat him then and only then he shall be announced the new World Champion. Kurt tells Long that he has beaten everyone on the roster and that there is no one in the world who can defeat the Olympic Gold Medallist. Long then informs Angle that this person has been out of action for a while and if Angle has beaten him before then he won’t have a problem with beating him again. Because at Vengeance Angle will be facing the Animal BATISTA!

73%

The Animal is Unleashed

Kurt looks like he’s seen a ghost as Batista’s music hits the speakers and the roof almost explodes as out walks the returning Animal! He walks down the ramp eyes focused on the Olympic Gold Medallist as he climbs into the ring and shakes hands with Smackdown GM Theodore Long. Long hands him a mic and Batista informs everyone that it’s great to be back! He then says it’s a privilege to go into that ring on July 30th at Vengeance and fight for what he wants so much the Smackdown World Title. He then focuses on Kurt and says he hopes the best man can win and puts out his hand.

After a couple of moments looking at the hand Kurt extends the hand and informs Batista to not worry because he plans on winning. As Batista is about to walk off Kurt pulls back Batista ducking and then about to hit the German Suplex but Batista is already on guard and battles back. After trading rights and lefts for a couple of moments The Animal gets the upperhand and then flattens Angle with a clothesline. He stalks Angle, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down! But Angle regains composure and rolls to the outside before Batista can make it to him. Angle backs up the rampway and Batista signals the title is heading to his waist come Vengeance.

90%

Bobby Lashley vs William Regal

An alright match but nothing special. Lashley still looks quite green in the ring but Regal managed to carry him to quite a good match countering Lashley’s powerhouse moves with his own technical moves. The finish came when Lashley was looking to put Regal away with the Dominator but as Regal was wriggling free he accidentally kicked the referee in the head. Randy Orton came running down the rampway and after Regal poked Lashley in the eye, the Legend Killer was lying in wait to land a RKO! Regal covered Lashley as Orton revived the ref who counted the 1…2…3 Orton was stalking Lashley again looking for another RKO but Benoit came running down to the ring clearing the ring of Orton and Regal who make it up the rampway.

OR – 72% CR – 68% MQ – 76%

Kings must Pay

Lashley and Benoit were backstage talking trash about Orton and how he was always a thorn in each of there sides. The crowd aren’t really into Lashley and pairing him with Benoit is only hurting Benoit who could be a world champ here. Hopefully this programme with The Kings of the Ring shall be over sooner rather than later and it seems like that when Benoit says he wants to finish this next week with The Kings of the Ring Booker T and Randy Orton against them two the final chapter. Thank God For That.

Raw Preview

Vince McMahon has announced that tonight he shall be making the Main Event for Vengeance. It is expected that John Cena shall be defending his WWE Title against The Game Triple H but everyone is wondering if the boss shall be making a stipulation for the match. Cena and HHH have been at war since One Night Stand ended with Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin siding with Cena and The Boss and Carlito coming to the aid of HHH you can expect Vince to be making some sort of Intercontinental Championship match for Vengeance as well. Tune in on Monday Night RAW to find out what matches the boss shall be making.

Val Venis shall also be proving to the Spirit Squad that he and his new Tag Partner Chavo deserve another Tag Title shot as Venis goes against Kenny in singles action and Chavo shall be the first man to step into the ring with the newest Spirit Squad member Bradley. Will the challengers prevail and get a title shot in the upcoming weeks or are The Spirit Squad once again going to be a thorn in the side of Venis and Chavo?

Shane McMahon's hired gun "The French Stallion" Rene Dupree shall definitely be in attendance this week. His war with HBK Shawn Michaels stepped up a notch last week when HBK landed a Sweet Chin Music on his Vengeance opponent and then told everyone including Shane and Rene that actions speak louder than words and his attack last week was just revenge for the two's involvement the week before. What shall the next chapter bring in this war?

Last week Flair was pinned by Lita after Edge speared his opponent for the Pay Per View in a mixed gender match. Flair has the week off recovering from his injuries but Lita and Trish Stratus shall be facing off in singles action with Trish vowing to make a mends for Flair against Edge's partner. Will Edge have any words for the Nature Boy or will Trish be a victim of another Spear?

Also Chapter 3 shall be announced tonight, the last few weeks someone who knows Kane has been tormenting the monster saying he knows what Kane did on May 19th. Will we find out who this man is and will we get to meet this man? All this and Much Much More only on Monday Night RAW!

Vengeance Main Event Not As Expected

No opening video or music this week as we are immediately inside the ring where Vince McMahon is standing alongside him are the WWE Champ John Cena and the IC Champ Shelton Benjamin. The crowd are letting them know there not welcome but Vince tells them to Shut Up in his usual angry voice but that just gets a bigger reaction from the crowd. Vince then goes onto say that he knows everyone in this arena wants to see John Cena defend the WWE Title against Triple H at Vengeance, and with that the crowd give a approvingly loud cheer. Vince tells them all that he has other plans because Cena will not be defending the title against HHH and also Shelton wont be defending against Carlito at Vengeance. The crowd sound there disappointment as Vince goes on to say that at Vengeance it shall be Triple H and Carlito teaming up against the WWE Champ John Cena and the IC Champ Carlito and there will be a special referee for that match and that man shall be Vincent Kennedy McMahon! The trio inside the ring celebrate with the blockbuster main event announced for Vengeance and the crowd are on there feet not in celebration but in disapproval.

Kenny vs Val Venis

A fairly decent match up between the two competitors but the crowds reaction was pretty flat due to the announcement before. The two men put on a very technical match up with Val coming close to the victory with the spinning powerbomb but Kenny managed to kick out at the count of two. Kenny landed a spinning wheel kick and went up top for the Flying Leg Drop but Val moved at the last moment stalked Kenny and flattened one half of the tag team champions with a Spinebuster, he went up top and landed The Money Shot for the 1....2...3! Val just pinned one half of the Tag Team Champions! But before he can celebrate the other half of the Tag Champs Mikey slides into the ring and flattens Val with the tag team belt. Kenny gets back up and the two Tag Champs stomp away on the victor, with Johnny, Bradley and Chrissie all blocking the rampway incase Chavo makes way. Mikey holds onto Val as Kenny hops onto the top rope, suddenly the crowd cheer as Chavo runs down with a steel chair and the three blocking the rampway make a quick getaway and Chavo slides into the ring clearing Mikey and Kenny from causing anymore damage. Chavo tends to Venis as The Spirit Squad on top of the rampway look pleased at there beatdown.

The Heartbreak Kid Halted

Coming back from the commercial break and the familiar tune for HBK hits the speakers and the crowd are going crazy as out struts the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. He makes his way down to the ring and grabs a mic. He talks about how he helped make this company what it is today and then you get audacity of Shane McMahon coming out and trying to make his life a living hell. Shawn says that he knows Rene Dupree is just a pawn in this whole game and that’s why he isn’t going to call him out instead he’s calling out Shane McMahon. Here comes the Money hits the speakers as out walks the Chairman’s son to a volley of boos from the crowd. Shane stops at the bottom of the rampway looking at Shawn Michaels and Shane seems hesitant to get into the ring, the crowd are booing louder, not for Shane but Rene who has snuck into the ring the back way and is now waiting for Shawn to turn around. Shane slowly walks up the steel steps and Michaels backs up a couple of steps straight into a clothesline to the back of the head from Dupree! Shane quickly makes his way into the ring and stomps away on Michaels, the crowd are chanting for a fight back but Dupree quickly slides out grabs a steel chair and gets back into the ring. Shane holds up HBK as Dupree measures the shot, swings and connects with the skull of Michaels. Dupree drops the Chair on the canvas and Shane throws the limp body of Shawn Michaels into Dupree’s grip lifting him up onto his shoulders and landing the French Connection Death Valley Driver onto the Steel Chair! Shawn has been busted open and is unconscious as Shane grabs the mic telling Shawn that Dupree’s not too bad for a so called Pawn. They leave the ring as medics are now attending to HBK.

Title Change? SD Draft Picks Leaked? Ghetto Boys Debuting Soon?

>>>>Homicide and Ricky Reyes lost the OVW Tag Team Titles last night to the team of Mark and Jay Briscoe in a tremendous 30minute tag team match which sent the roof off the OVW Arena. It is expected that they shall be debuting this week on Hardcore TV. Homicide is expected to be renamed Rodriguez and Ricky Reyes is being shortened to Reyes to portray the "Ghetto" style. There is talk of having Alicia Webb come up with the team to have a mouth piece but whether that happens is yet to be seen. Heyman is high on both men's work ethic and they are expected to go straight into the tag team division. The feud between The New Extreme Horsemen and The b.W.o is expected to finish this week with the winner of that feud going after the new tag champs The Impact Players. It is not known where The Ghetto Boys will go in this programme at the current time.

>>>>For a couple of minutes on the WWE.com Website today ECW Wrestler Mike Awesome was shown on the Smackdown Roster Page along with RAW Wrestler Chris Masters. It is not know whether these two men shall be the draft picks but after noticing the mistake they were immediately removed from the page. With the draft being not until Vengeance 3 weeks away it is yet to be seen if these two men shall play a big part of there current brand.

>>>>Expect to see Val Venis and Chavo Guerrero win the Tag Team Titles this week. The fans have been resenting the Spirit Squad the last few weeks and not really caring about the Tag Team titles. After there match this week it is rumoured that The Spirit Squad shall become no more and each wrestler shall revert to there normal names but stick in a group. They want the group to become a "New Wave" gimmick with Ken Doane becoming the Leader, Michael Modest and Johnny Jeter becoming a tag team and Bradley Jay being the Enforcer and Chris Idol being the Mouthpiece as usual. Whether they make an immediate change or kept off TV for awhile is not clear yet.

Hardcore TV! Preview

In a rematch from last week The Man Beast Rhino has challenged Rob Van Dam to another singles match to prove that he can beat RVD but this time it shall be under Extreme Rules! Last week RVD proved the better jumping the Gore and connecting with a 5 Star but straight after the matchup Rhino got up in anger and landed a devastating Gore to one of the contenders for the ECW World Title at Vengeance. After the match Taz made his way down the ramp and went face to face with Rhino before locking in the Tazmission on the already weakened RVD. Will Rhino get his win this week and will Taz make his presence felt again?

Talking of Last week The Impact Players were crowned the New ECW Tag Team Champions! After a night of matches the main event left bitter enemies the Blue World Order and The Extreme Horsemen alongside The Impact Players in a ladder match for the Tag Straps. As the match swayed in favour for each team during the time it was the war between the two tag teams which proved the fatal blow as The Impact Players were left in the ring to claim the gold and be crowned the new champions. The Impact Players have declared that they shall be fighting champions and this week they defend the titles against the team of Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke, The FBI! Will their reign fall short at the first defence or will they prove to the world why they are one of the most legendary tag teams in the wrestling industry?

Continuing the war between the Blue World Order and The Extreme Horsemen, ECW Owner Paul Heyman has sanctioned a Tag Team matchup between Da New Blue Guy Trent Acid, Big Stevie Cool and Frankie Kazarian and Extreme Horsemen leader Simon Diamond. Will this feud finally be settled this week or will the masked man who has been helping The Extreme Horsemen make his presence felt once again and prove the difference maker?

The on going war with The Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer and the Straight Edged newcomer CM Punk is still escalating. Punk has vowed that being straight edged makes him better than anyone on the ECW Roster and has even refused to revert to the ECW Way of using Weapons. Last Week he defeated Blue Nova and then interfered in the end of the Tommy Dreamer, Mike Awesome match up. Dreamer managed to roll out of the ring before Punk could lock in the Anaconda Vice and then Dreamer cleared the ring of Punk coming back with his Kendo Stick. This week Dreamer has the week off and Punk is trying his Straight Edged ways against the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death Defying Maniac Sabu! Sabu a ECW Veteran has a reputation of using Chairs throughout his matches will Punk prove that being Straight Edged and not using any weapons makes him better than Sabu or will Sabu do what each ECW Original has failed to do so far and take Punk to the Extreme? All this and much more only on Hardcore TV!

ECW Hardcore TV Results!!!

The opening video for ECW hits and then we get a video package of what happened last week in the main event between The Extreme Horsemen, The BWO and The Impact Players for the ECW Tag Team Titles. The Video ends with the Impact Players being crowned the new Tag Champs and posing in traditional Impact Pose.

Ready To Make an Impact

We then cut straight to the back where Justin Credible and Lance Storm are in front of the camera with the Tag Straps draped over there shoulders. For some reason there’s no Dawn Marie this week no reason why she isn’t here. Justin takes over the talking duties this weeks and make’s the statement that these Tag team title belts around their shoulders truly signifies that The Impact Players are the most important tag team in Extreme Championship Wrestling. Justin goes onto say that they shall be fighting champions and that is why 1 week after winning the titles they are willing to put them on the line against the Full Blooded Italians. Lance Storm then takes over and tells everyone in ECW to take notice because before Chris Jericho ran away from ECW, they were about to make an Impact in ECW like no one else and that is Just Incredible.

Pure and Simple – I’m Better Than Anyone

We then cut to the ring and instead of our first match of the night, the music of The Straight Edge Warrior CM Punk hits the speakers and the crowd are on their feet in disgust for the cocky newcomer to ECW. He has his usual black hoody on and his yellow ¾ length shorts. He grabs a mic inside the ring and the crowd let the newcomer know he’s not welcome in the ECW ring. Punk can definitely cut a promo as he talks about his success in other promotions, not mentioning any names in particular but does say about how he was the World Champion and proved to the world then that he was the best and that is why the WWE came knocking. Punk tells the whole of the arena that he didn’t want to be apart of ECW he wanted to thrive on the competition in the WWE rather than this Hardcore Junk we are seeing tonight.

He then goes on to say that Tommy Dreamer is too scared to turn up tonight in his own ECW. Punk makes the statement that Dreamer has realised that being Straight Edged definitely makes Punk better than him and anyone else in this pathetic promotion. Punk tells the fans that they don’t know what true wrestling is about and he is trying to teach them when they see proper wrestling rather than people being hit over the head with chairs or put through tables. Punk then says next week he wants Dreamer to find a tag team partner because Punk already has one lined up and calls him a Suplex Machine. Hmmm I wonder who that could be. Punk then continues to say that being straight edged is pure and simple; it makes him better than anyone.

The FBI vs Impact Players © (ECW Tag Titles)

A great matchup between the two ECW Veteran Tag Teams and what a match to have for your first tag title defence. At one moment we almost had new tag team champions when Little Guido hit the Sicilian Slice on Justin Credible but Storm broke up the count at 2. The crowd were quite into this but it was the first match of the night and they were still hyped with the CM Punk interview. Credible used the Kendo stick to his advantage taking out Big Vito at ringside who was helping Mamaluke get the tag. Guido went airborne taking out Vito, Mamaluke, Credible and Storm ringside with a flipping suicide dive off the top rope. As the carnage got back into the ring the Tag Champs landed simulatenous Super Kicks on The FBI and Storm locked in the Canadian Maple Leaf on Mamaluke for the Submission Victory. The crowd were half booing and half cheering for the Tag Champs as they did the Impact Player’s Pose in the ring with the title belts before heading back up the rampway as we go to a commercial break.

Ghetto Boys Debut Success? ECW Writers Confused? Wrestler Released? SD Match Leaked?

>>>>The Debut of The Ghetto Boys this past week on Hardcore TV has been hailed a huge success by everyone backstage. There are reports that it's the WWE's dig at TNA's L.A.X group, with Rodriguez played by Homicide already been in the L.A.X group he came to the ring basically in the same attire that he wore with his stint in LAX such as the bandanas over his mouth. The decision to put Alicia Webb with them was a last minutes decision with the writers wanting to put her in it and then not and then when they realised neither men could really cut a promo they added Webb as the main mouth piece for the group. Even though the team are meant to be one of the top heel teams in ECW they got quite a good reaction with the crowd and is a problem. Expect them to start a programme with the losing team of the BWO / Extreme Horsemen feud which is expected to end at Vengeance.

>>>>Since signing Rhino to a contract a month ago the ECW Writers have been confused on what to do with him. It was seen as quite a rushed decision to sign Rhino after they found out his TNA deal had ran out due to the fact that Chris Jericho broke his leg in a training accident and they needed another Main Event star to step straight in and take the centre spot along with Taz and RVD. Storm was obviously being pushed as a Main Event star with his battle with Jericho but due to the injury the writers had to put Storm back in the Tag Team Division and kept him happy by putting the tag straps on him and Credible. The ECW Writers wanted to push Taz vs RVD hard for Vengeance but now with Rhino being involved the last couple of weeks it is expected that the match shall be changed into a three way for the title with Rhino being the go between taking on both Taz and RVD. The feud built up between RVD and Taz since One Night Stand is expected to be blown off the week after Vengeance on Hardcore TV.

>>>>Rumours Circulating backstage is that Massato Tanaka requested his release from the company. WWE officials learnt that Tanaka hasn't really been happy with the heavy schedule since signing permanently after One Night Stand. After a meeting and lengthy discussions the WWE granted his wish and then posted on WWE.com that they had released Tanaka from his contract and wished him the best for his future. It is expected that he shall be starting his Japan commitments again and was deemed surplus to requirements within the WWE.

>>>>Along with the Chris Benoit/Bobby Lashley vs Kings of the Ring (Orton and Booker T) match confirmed for SD this week WWE.com is also advertising Matt Hardy vs John Bradshaw Layfield in a Non Title match up. It is expected it shall be dubbed as a Vengeance Preview match and then next week we shall see JBL vs Mr Kennedy in a Non Title Match. The SD Writers are pushing that the Triple Threat Match at Vegeance be one of the main focuses of the PPV and it is rumoured that a new champion shall be crowned as they believe that JBL is too "big" a superstar for the US Title and that he should be in the Main Event Picture.

>>>>As you saw last week on Smackdown The Undertaker shall be making his long awaited return at Vengeance. We haven't seen the deadman in a while as he has been recuperating from injuries.Apparently the SD Writers are not sure which Gimmick to return Taker in, with the video showing all different gimmicks the Undertaker has portrayed. McMahon is pushing for a return of the American Badass but Stephanie wants him to return as the Old School Deadman Gimmick. More on this as we get it.
