Finntroll - "Trollhammaren"

- Well it's Finntroll. And it's got a cool panpipe-type-thingy in it.

In Flames - "Cloud Connected"

- One of the few non-power metal songs on my playlist I know (and can actually name) purely by the intro. That's got to mean something?

Led Zeppelin - "Stairway to Heaven"

- Is an explaination really necessary?

Metallica - "Enter Sandman"

- Bit obvious, really? Not much of a 'tallica fan, but a few songs blatantly own. This is one of 'em.

Megadeth - "A Tout Le Monde"

- TOGgy introduced me to it, and I actually really like them. I was also impressed with my French skillz when I first heard it, to :P It reminded me how great I was.

Guns N Roses - "Sweet Child o' Mine"

- Pretty much purely for the solo.

Meat Loaf - "Bat Out Of Hell"

- A bit of a dubious choice, some might say. But some can fuck off :P Meatloaf is teh awesome, and I can't help singing along to this one.

Pantera - "Walk"

- Only discovered it recently, and it loses cool points for being way slower than RVD's theme, but it's still a cool song.

Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody"

- I don't listen to it much, I don't even "like" it all that much as a song, but it's a masterpiece.

Nightwish - "Dead to the World"

- Of all six albums, why this song? :( But it's still good enough to get on the list.

Negative:

2Pac - "Changes"

2Pac - "Thugs Mansion"

Wyclef Jean & Mary J. Blige - "911"

Notorious B.I.G. - "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems"

Kanye West - "We Major"

Gee, I wonder why those five could be there ¬_¬

I would've put Hard Rock Hallelujah in there, but there wasn't room (and so many people will be voting for it just because of Eurovision it doesn't really need the points :P).

The latest is Ollie has done so much stuff in the last couple of weeks, including exams, diaries, mods, new dogs and a possible new girlfriend, which means everytime I've set out to get to work on counting all the votes up I get tied up with something else.

The results are coming on the first of July, along with my new diary (cheap plug), and they will feature in this lovely forum throughout July. :) I plan on doing it in top 50 fashion, with five tracks for each update. If I can get someone to do it (and if it's not too illegal), I may even sort out getting some downloads to the top 10/20 songs so that everyone can hear as well as see what EWB loves.

So; July 1st is when I start the countdown. You cats can wait another week, right?

Okay, so I'm handling this in Ollie's place, and I just finished taking down all the votes. So all that's left is sorting them out.

I will say this, though; it's not very hard to figure out which song ended up in dead last.
