We kickoff the show with the usual video intro package and then we cut to the arena where the crowd is pretty loud tonight in the small venue that they have booked for tonight's ECW TV! The crowd will get it going quick as we cut to some action backstage already happening!

We cut backstage to where Chris Benoit is already in the process of dismantling the ECW Heavyweight Champion, Rob Van Dam! Benoit pummels him for a couple minutes and finally finishes him as the brawl had brought them out to the parking lot and Benoit smashes RVD's head off a car window which knocks him unconcious because the car window didn't break so his skull must have! Benoit laughs darkly and stalks off leaving RVD in a heap in the parking lot!

Roderick Strong vs Brian Kendrick vs Puma

(3 Way Dance)

This was a pretty good technical matchup but the crowd wasn't very into Puma or Strong. Kendrick was the only one with a pretty decent response and it wasn't that big either. Late in the match, Strong takes Puma out with a Fireman's Carry Backbreaker and as Puma rolls out of the ring, Kendrick comes running up and grabs Strong as he goes by and hits the Sliced Bread #2 to gain the pinfall win over Roderick Strong and Puma!

Kurt Angle vs Justin Credible

(ECW Television Title Match)

Credible gets a pretty good reaction from the ECW faithful but Angle of course gets the much bigger reaction from the crowd and puts on the better performance in the match. Angle winds up picking up the win and retaining his title with an Angle Slam onto a chair in the middle of the ring. Once Angle has the pinfall though Jericho hits the ring and nails a facebuster on Angle onto that same chair! Jericho then picks up the chair and slams it down onto Angle and then hits the ropes after laying it on top of him and nails a big time Lionsault to Angle with the chair! Jericho leaves Angle laying in the ring as we go to commercial!

A Video airs as we come back from commercial highlighting the Jericho/Angle feud and promoting their Television Title Match at Heatwave which goes over well with the crowd and is a very good video!

Overall Rating: 90%

CM Punk vs Masato Tanaka

This match was a pretty solid match and both guys got a nice reaction though Tanaka's was by far the bigger of the two but that didn't determine the outcome as CM Punk overcomes the ECW Veteran and hits the Pepsi Plunge on Tanaka to garner a big time win for himself!

(Winner: CM Punk)

Mick Foley vs Sean O'Haire

O'Haire is the first man to the ring and he comes down to the ring by himself tonight as Hardy is getting ready for his match with Jericho in the main event. O'Haire gets into the ring and waits until Mick Foley's music hits but the theme is of Cactus Jack and Foley comes stalking out from the back and climbs into the ring and blocks O'Haire's attempt to gain the upper hand and proceeds to dominate the New Breed member from pillar to post for 7 minutes until finally he hits his Pulling Piledriver on O'Haire and covers him for the pinfall! Paul London comes running through the crowd and slides into the ring but he gets caught by Foley! London runs at Foley but Foley lays him out with a vicious Lariat and then gets him up to his feet and puts him down with his Double Arm DDT and leaves both members of the New Breed laying in the ring as we go to our final commercial break!

We return from commercial with another promo video. This time it's hyping up the ECW Heavyweight Title Match at Heatwave between Chris Benoit and Rob Van Dam though the crowd just can't seem to like this feud as much as some of the other ones!

Overall Rating: 69%

Paul Birchill vs Mikey Whipwreck

(First Blood Match)

This matchup is the only stipulation match on the card. Birchill takes it to Whipwreck for alot of this match and taunts him as well for most of this matchup. The win comes when Birchill pulls a Corona Bottle from under the ring, pops the top and drinks a little and then shatters it against Whipwreck's face which busts him wide open which causes the referee to call for the bell. Birchill then mounts Whipwreck though and reigns down vicious right hands to make the wound worse and batter Whipwreck heading into their match at Heatwave!

(Winner: Paul Birchill)

Overall Rating: 78%

Crowd Reaction: 75%

Match Quality: 81%

Chris Jericho vs Matt Hardy

(Main Event)

Both men got a very good reaction from the crowd but they weren't as into the match as Jericho and Hardy were. These two were deeply imbeded into this match as they went for fifteen minutes of a tremendous technical matchup. Hardy got a nearfall with a Side Effect onto a Trash Can. Jericho got a nearfall with a Flashback onto a Steel Chair. The end comes though when Sean O'Haire comes charging down to ringside when Hardy looks to be in trouble and he has a chair in hand. Jericho backs up just enough to be reached by O'Haire and O'Haire whacks him in the back of the head with the chair. He stumbles forward into a Twist of Fate from Hardy onto the lying chair in the ring and he rolls Jericho over for the cover..1...2....3! Hardy gets a huge win over Chris Jericho and then before they can do anything else Foley comes charging down to the ring with a Barbed Wire 2x4 in hand and it makes O'Haire and Hardy scatter and they bail out through the crowd and ECW TV goes off the air this week with Foley yelling at the two as they flee!

ECW.com News and Notes

Currently Brian Danielson is set to return to action the 1st of August and should be 100% at that time.

As of the writing of this Note, ECW has added a Lightweight Championship for the (Cruiserweight/X Division) style wrestlers on their roster as they have an abudence of them. The roster for this division of those that can actually win this Title are:

B-Boy

Brian Kendrick

Brian Danielson (Injured Till Aug 1)

Chavo Guerrero

Frankie Kazarian

Gregory Helms

Jamie Noble

Jay Lethal

Jimmy Yang

Kid Kash

Matt Hardy (Though he may as well be a Heavyweight)

Mikey Whipwreck

Nunzio

Paul London

Psicosis

Puma

Rey Mysterio

Roderick Strong

Sexxxy Eddy

Shark Boy

Super Crazy

Super Dragon

Tajiri

Tony Mamaluke

Trent Acid

Now The Messiah/Sandman storyline hasn't been dropped. It's just not in the top three of fueds of importance at the moment.

Those being Kurt Angle/Chris Jericho (ECW TV Title)

Matt Hardy/Mick Foley (Respect)

Rob Van Dam/Chris Benoit (ECW Heavyweight Title)

In that order truthfully.

It's likely that the first two feuds will continue through Heat Wave where as the Benoit/RVD feud may be dropped as it's not garnering alot of buzz and there are many contenders for the ECW Championship.

The ECW Lightweight Championship will have a sixteen man tournament unless the idea gets scrapped completely and it will end up like this in brackets

Brian Danielson vs Gregory Helms

Jamie Noble vs Jay Lethal

Shark Boy vs Super Dragon

Roderick Strong vs Super Crazy

Rey Mysterio vs Nunzio

Paul London vs Kid Kash

Puma vs Psicosis

Brian Kendrick vs Chavo Guerrero

It will go on to culminate in the finals of this tournament happening on September 10th at the new PPV though going by an old adapted name "September to Remember"

ECW Devastation kicks up live from the ECW Arena and the crowd erupts in cheers. We go straight into our first match because the show is very stacked with matches tonight!

Jay Lethal vs Jamie Noble

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

Lethal and Noble both come down to the ring to pretty weak reactions but the crowd gets a tad more into it as they get underway and they put together a fairly solid match. Noble winds up losing the match when he goes for his Tigerbomb but Lethal reverses it by landing on his feet somehow out of it and driving Noble's face into the mat ala X-Pac's facebuster and gains the pinfall to advance to the next round of this Tournament!

(Winner and Advancing: Jay Lethal)

Overall Rating: 55%

Match Quality: 78%

Shark Boy vs Super Dragon

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

Shark Boy gets a pretty good ovation and Super Dragon is starting to get pretty over as a heel and he works it like magic in this match. Hitting all of the cheap heel moves you can do and doing them in a manner that the crowd actually enjoys and finds humorous rather than annoying. He dominates Shark Boy and wins with the Psycho Driver to gain the pinfall. He then proceeds to get a Steel Chair from out of the ring and places it on the mat and hits his Curb Stomp on Shark Boy to leave him limp in the ring and unconcious to make a point with the rest of the Lightweight Division as we go to commercial break!

(Winner and Advancing: Super Dragon)

Overall Rating: 58%

Crowd Reaction: 49%

Match Quality: 81%

As we go to commercial break a hype video is playing, doing up the feud between Matt Hardy, The New Breed and Mick Foley which has gone on for a while now with Hardy and his New Breed Faction getting the best of Foley for a while now and then the moment when Foley challenges Hardy to a Cage Match at Heatwave which is what ends the hype video as it's giving the big push for the Heatwave PPV coming up in under two weeks!

Overall Rating: 79%

The Messiah vs The Sandman vs Justin Credible

(3 Way Dance)

This match was brutal from the start to finish. It only went about eight minutes long and it was littered with Chair Shots, Kendo Sticks and Tables. All three men went back and forth but Credible seemed like the odd man out as Messiah and Sandman focused on each other most of the match as their brewing hatred just seems to be getting stronger. In the end though Messiah throws Sandman out of the ring and hits a DVD on Credible through a table in the ring to pick up the pinfall victory and he leaves in a hurry before Sandman gets up, taunting him as he leaves!

(Winner: The Messiah)

Overall Rating:64%

Crowd Reaction: 67%

Match Quality: 78%

Nunzio vs Rey Mysterio

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

This match is pretty much a squash as Mysterio dominated the cowardly Nunzio and pretty much controlled the match from start to finish until Tony Mamaluke came out and cracked Mysterio with a chair. Still Nunzio only got a two count and Mysterio finished him off from here with the West Coast Pop for the pinfall victory

(Winner: Rey Mysterio)

Overall Rating: 69%

Crowd Reaction: 73%

Match Quality: 81%

Paul London vs Sabu vs Trent Acid vs Lance Storm

(4 Way Dance)

(Main Event)

This was probably the most entertaining match of the night though Mysterio and Nunzio the crowd seemed to be a little more into it. Sabu and Trent Acid seemed to stick to each other like glue in this match for the most part. Brawling all over the ringside area where mainly Storm and London squared off in the ring. The end of the match came about fourteen minutes in when Sabu hit an Arabian Facebuster on Acid but then London hit a Dropsault on Sabu as he got up, knocking Sabu to the outside and as London landed. Storm caught him with a massive Superkick to the jaw, taking him out and gaining the pinfall victory on him as the show came to an end with Storm celebrating his victory

(Winner: Lance Storm)

Just eight days away from Heatwave and Kurt Angle is not willing to wait to face Chris Jericho one on one for the ECW Television Title. He wants a piece of Jericho tonight after his Chair attack on him last week during his Title defense against Justin Credible. So a compromise was made by Paul Heyman. He will allow the Television Champ to face Jericho but it will be in Tag Team competition. The Main event this week will have Chris Jericho teaming with the man that actually pinned him last week in the main event. New Breed Leader, Matt Hardy vs ECW Television Champ Kurt Angle and Hardy's nemesis and opponent at Heatwave! A huge tag match to highlight a big show just eight days out from Heatwave.

Also the Lightweight Title Tournament will continue it's first round matches tonight on Extreme TV!

Brian Kendrick vs Chavo Guerrero

Paul London vs Kid Kash

Puma vs Psicosis

Also beyond these matches. Rob Van Dam will be in the house to defend his ECW Heavyweight Championship against one of the pioneers of ECW...TERRY FUNK! All this and much more on Extreme TV Tonight!

We get the opening video package to Extreme TV as the time hits for the show to start. It shows all the clips of the recent happenings in the New ECW and then once it finishes up we go live to the arena where Kurt Angle's music hits and he comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd with the ECW Television Title around his waist. He poses on the stairs coming out of the ECW Entrance and points to the sky as his pyro goes off around him, a smaller version than he had in WWE. He then makes his way down to the ring with a bandage on his head and he motions for the microphone and yells at the tech to give him the damn microphone!

Kurt Angle: Last week that son of a bitch, Chris Jericho attacked me again with a chair. Now I really don't care if he attacked me with a chair. That's ECW right?

The crowd responds with a YEAH!

Kurt Angle: Well I don't want to wait till Heatwave to get my hands around the throat of Chris Jericho and I don't want to wait till the Main Event tonight. I Want to beat the hell out of Chris Jericho RIGHT NOW! So Chris get your scrawny little ass out here so I can break you into ten god damn pieces!

Chris Jericho comes running through the crowd to attack Angle and answer his challenge but Angle at the last second spots Jericho as he's getting into the ring and running at Kurt. So Kurt sidesteps him and chucks him over the top rope and follows after him and begins beating the holy hell out of Jericho with right hands and forearms to the head. Jericho finally gets a shot in with a low blow to Angle and then grabs a Steel Chair and tries to crack Angle in the face with it while he's on his knees. Angle ducks it and snatches up Jericho's ankle and locks in an Anklelock on Jericho! Finally ECW officials come running out and break the two up. Once they are taken to the back we have our first match!

Overall Rating: 91%

Chris Hero vs Chris Benoit

This match allowed Hero to show a little bit of his skill as early on it was back and forth between the two. Eventully though Benoit began hammering on Hero and finally finished him off with a Top Rope Headbutt and then went outside and grabbed a Steel Chair and brought it back into the ring and began destroying Hero with it until he was left bloody and laying in the ring!

(Winner: Chris Benoit)

Paul London vs Kid Kash

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

This matchup was back and forth in the early going. Both men hit some high impact moves but it started to lean in the favor of Kid Kash until Brian Kendrick came running down to the ring and hit his Sliced Bread #2 on Kash when he wasn't expecting an attack and then London went to the top and hit the London Star Press to pick up the victory and advance in the tournament

(Winner and Advancing: Paul London)

We cut backstage before we go to commercial break with The Sandman entering the arena with a smoke between his lips and a beer in hand but before he makes it three steps in the door The Messiah attacks with a steel chain which has thumbtacks glued it seems onto it! He pounds Sandman with it until he's bleeding all over his face from the tack covered chain. Messiah then picks him up over his head in a body press and throws him through a plate glass window of an office that was nearby! Officials are heard yelling for paramedics as we go to commercial break!

Overall Rating: 67%

Puma vs Psicosis

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

This matchup was a shocker as Puma put on a tremendous showing against the ECW Veteran Psicosis and eventully Puma winds up coming out victorious with a Blockbuster on Psicosis onto a Stop Sign to pick up the victory and advance surprisingly into the next round!

(Winner and Advancing: Puma)

We go backstage where Matt Hardy is seemingly conducting a sit down interview...it seems like it was done earlier tonight and isn't live as Matt is talking about his feelings regarding Mick Foley in a serious manner with Joey Styles

Matt Hardy: Joey, I dispise Mick Foley in the most extreme sense of the word. He is a man whom has used being thrown off a Cell and Through a Cell to catapault his career into being a huge star as well as a cheap crap author. This is a man who blatently just yells out a city's name to get a cheap pop and the fans flock to him because he's so much like all of them. Well Matt Hardy isn't like all these people. He isn't willing to destroy his body to make his career. I am going to destroy the bodies of others to make my career. Mick it starts with you at Heatwave inside of the Steel Cage. You may think that it's been uneven before and now that it's one on one. Your going to get Hardcore with me and be able to take me out. I Assure you so strongly that it's not the case. I am going to beat you within an inch of your life at Heatwave and you will be lucky to crawl out of that ring breathing. I don't need Sean O'Haire or Brian Kendrick or Paul London to beat you. They will be nowhere near that Cage next Sunday. It will be just you and me. We will see which man actually have the balls to walk out of that ring victorious with their arm held in the air. I can guarentee it won't be you!

Hardy then stands up seeming pleased with his words and walks off and we flash back to the ring live where action is set to get going again but not until after this commercial break! It ends up being a few random commercials and then a commercial promo for Heatwave and the three main highlighted matches and clips from the feuds of all three. Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy and Mick Foley and the Main Event for Heatwave which is Rob Van Dam defending the ECW Heavyweight Title

Brian Kendrick vs Chavo Guerrero

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

This was another strong matchup between two of the more prominent stars in the new Lightweight Division. The match was hard fought and in the end Kendrick picks up the victory when Paul London hits the Dropsault on Guerrero staggering him back into Kendrick whom nails the Sliced Bread #2 on Guerrero hard and quick for the pinfall victory!

(Winner and Advancing: Brian Kendrick)

Overall Rating: 80%

Crowd Reaction: 70%

Rob Van Dam vs Terry Funk

(ECW Heavyweight Title Match)

This was a bit more of a rough match than you would think. Funk of course is 100 years old so he's a bit sloppy in the ring but it was an alright match for what it was. Funk gave his all to try and win the ECW Heavyweight Title. He hit a moonsault through a table on RVD on the outside of the ring to garner a close fall when Funk recovered enough to make one and got another near fall after a hard chair shot to RVD's head. RVD eventully overcame this and won the match with the VanTerminator when Funk kicked out of the Five Star!

Overall Rating: 93%

Kurt Angle/Mick Foley vs Chris Jericho/Matt Hardy

(Main Event, Tag Team Match)

This was a pretty solid match but it got cut short after about ten minutes. It looked like Foley and Angle were going to win the match when Foley hit his Pulling Piledriver and Angle hitting the Angle Slam on their respective guys until the New Breed came running down to the ring and attacked. It turned into a 5 on 2 beatdown eventully. Foley and Angle fought off Kendrick, London and O'Haire for a moment but once Jericho and Hardy recovered it turned into a big 5 on 2 beatdown with Hardy hitting the Twist of Fate on Foley while Angle got laid out by a Prophecy from O'Haire...then a London Star Press from Paul London and finally Jericho hit the Lionsault to gain the very tainted pinfall. The New Breed and Chris Jericho celebrated over the bodies of their enemies as Extreme TV went off the air!

No fancy video package for ECW Devastation. We simply come into the feed live in the ECW Arena and the crowd is pretty loud as we get set for our first match of the evening with two of the up and comers in the New ECW. Men that hadn't been in the company previously but are trying to make an impact.

CM Punk vs Kevin Steen

Let me tell you despite the crowd not knowing or being too into this match. They get into it eventully because this match was a superbly wrestled match. Punk and Steen went back and forth, countering and re-countering moves against each other. Both had control of the match for periods of time and they gave this match quite a bit of time to work itself out. Eventully Steen is going for his Package Piledriver but Punk back drops Steen out of it in a Reversal and hits a Step Up Enziguri on Steen to stagger him and sets him up on the top rope and...HUGE PEPSI PLUNGE BY CM PUNK!!! Punk gets into the cover and wins the match in about fifteen minutes!

Roderick Strong vs Super Crazy

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

This match on the other hand was a mis-match. Strong whom barely meets the weight requirements for this division. Against Super Crazy whom is very very light. Strong dominated a bulk of this match and finally finished off Super Crazy with a Chokeslam which he catches his opponent on the way down into a Backbreaker which just looked devastating! He then gained the pinfall and won the match after this move!

(Winner and Advancing: Roderick Strong)

We went to commercial break and as we come back a video package begins to play, hyping up the hugely anticipated ECW Television Title Match between Chris Jericho the challenger and Kurt Angle the champion. All of the clips are from their ECW Altercations which is a good job of not mixing the WWE stuff in. It shows the Jericho attacks and the Kurt Angle victories. The 5 on 2 Beatdown as well as the chair shots from Jericho and then it finishes up with Kurt Angle holding the ECW Television Title over his head in victory when he won it!

Overall Rating: 97%

Brian Danielson vs Gregory Helms

(1st Round Lightweight Title Tourny Match)

The crowd was definately into this match a bit more with knowing these two superstars a bit better. These guys tore the house down with a very high paced and technical match that was back and forth between the two men. Danielson eventully pulls out the big time victory over Helms with his Cattle Mutilation submission to get the victory!

(Winner and Advancing: Brian Danielson)

Overall Rating: 80%

Crowd Reaction: 64%

We take another quick commercial break and in it is the video package for the other very big feud going into Heatwave between the New Breed Leader, Matt Hardy and the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley. All of their encounters with the New Breed attacking Foley and Foley finally getting the upper hand. Their matches against one another and finally the two of them facing off and afterwards flashes of Steel Cage Matches as the promo for Heatwave ends!

The Messiah vs Tajiri

(Main Event)

This matchup was another very very good bout with both men putting up a big fight with Tajiri's kicks and Messiah's ability to take anything and come back and punch you in the mouth. Messiah eventully winds up hitting a Death Valley Driver on Tajiri to gain the pinfall victory and get a big win as Devastation goes off the air!

Now it's just one night away from the biggest ECW Pay Per View in about seven years...yes given we've not been in business in all that time but still it is huge in our return effort with ECW! Tonight will set everything up. Tonight we will have a very big night as Rob Van Dam will be surveying the damage that will occur in the main event.

There will be a 20 Man Battle Royale to determine the challenger for September to Remember PPV event next month for Rob Van Dam's ECW Heavyweight Championship...or if Chris Benoit wins at Heatwave, His Title.

Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Matt Hardy, Rhino, Sean O'Haire, Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Lance Storm, Rey Mysterio, The Messiah, The Sandman, CM Punk, Steve Corino, Tajiri, Masato Tanaka, Terry Funk, Sabu, The Returning New F'n Show Jerry Lynn and one Surprise Entrant that you will have to see to believe! Winner is the last man standing in the ring without having been thrown over the top rope!

Also there will be tag team action as Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro will have a warmup match against Paul London and Brian Kendrick before they meet tommorrow night for the Vacant Tag Team Titles. Both teams will be trying to gain an edge on their opponents before their big Heatwave Title Bout!

Chris Benoit is also seemingly left out of place in this show as he's not allowed to be in the Battle Royale but he also can't cheap shot RVD when he's in his match tonight cause RVD...doesn't have one. So what kind of impact will Chris Benoit be able to make tonight?

There will also be two 3 Way Dance matches between the six men not in matches tonight but that are left in the Lightweight Title Tournament

Roderick Strong vs Brian Danielson vs Puma

Rey Mysterio vs Jay Lethal vs Super Dragon

All these huge matches and MUCH MUCH MORE to set us up for Heatwave Tommorrow night!

We get our Extreme TV video package to start the show out and once we get some minor pyro to kick the show off. The crowd begins going insane as tonight's show is probably going to be the biggest Extreme TV EVER! With four really big matches and none of them should let anyone down. Who the hell will win that 20 Man Battle Royale with every real player in that match. Who takes a step forward in the quest for the ECW Tag Team and ECW Lightweight Titles? Who will get through tonight in one piece to fight tommorrow night at Heatwave?!

MNM vs Brian Kendrick & Paul London

This was a TERRIFIC match between these two teams and it will have to make the fans drool for more. The crowd was pretty into MNM as more of a Tweener Tag Team. They didn't like their gimmick much but they know they can go in the ring and the fans in ECW do respect that. London and Kendrick are absolutely hated but still get the occassional fan cheers due to their incredible skills in the ring as well. This match starts off with all four guys getting hooked up in the ring and going at it. Mercury gets Kendrick in one corner and London gets Nitro in the other. London lights Nitro up in his corner, while Mercury lays into Kendrick in the other. Then both London and Mercury turn and run at each other and leap into the air at one another and Mercury spears London in mid-air and drives him to the mat. The crowd really enjoys this opening to the match and it really doesn't slow down from here. There is the unfortunate commercial break in a slow part of this match but MNM really controls a bulk of the match but late in the match London and Kendrick are in control and Kendrick hits his Sliced Bread #2 on Mercury and London climbs to the top rope for the London Star Press but Melina gets up onto the ring apron and pushes London off the top rope and HE GOES FLYING THROUGH THE AIR DOWN THROUGH THE BELL TABLE AT RINGSIDE OH MY GOD!!!! At this point Nitro gets into the ring and Mercury is recovered enough to help Nitro hit their Double Team Diamond Cutter on Kendrick and the illegal man rolls out of the ring as the referee turns around in time to see the cover..1....2....3! MNM gets a big win before tommorrow night's Tag Team Title Match between these two teams! This match went 22 Minutes and it did not dissappoint the fans for a single moment.

Chris Hero vs Jamie Noble

Normally this kind of match would've been given 20 minutes with how good they are and how they went at it for the period of time they had but there is no room on the show for any other long matches so this match goes about six minutes which feels hurried and is ended when Jamie Noble hits his Tigerbomb on Hero to gain the pinfall and victory!

As we go to commercial break and come back, we get the same promo video for Heatwave for the Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle epic that will be for the ECW Television Championship. The funny thing is that the ECW Heavyweight Title has had very little promotion and it really does seem like they're trying to sweep that match and feud under the rug somewhat as nothing has worked to get it over with the fans.

Overall Rating: 88%

The truck in the back plays two videos now back to back as we see the feud video for "The Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley and The New Breed's Leader Matt Hardy. Same video package as from Devastation. This match has really been pushed big to the #2 match being promoted for Heatwave. Alot to do with the hard work of Hardy and Foley to get this over with the fans as a Credible feud and a Credible Storyline!

Rey Mysterio vs Super Dragon vs Jay Lethal

(3 Way Dance)

This matchup really wasn't everything you'd have expected it to be. The crowd wasn't as hot for this match as one would think but you'd also think they are saving it up for the main event. Also Mysterio didn't go all out in this match as he has a chance to win a Title Shot later in the night and wanted to conserve some energy. So it winds up being Jay Lethal hitting a Tornado DDT on Super Dragon and then he Enziguri's Mysterio in the back of the head so hard he flies out of the ring and then Lethal climbs to the top and hits a Beautiful Moonsault to...NO KNEES KNEES KNEES! Super Dragon was playing Possum! He gets up in a damn hurry and scoops Lethal onto his shoulders..PSYCHO DRIVER!!! He then rolls Lethal over and covers him...1..2.....3! Super Dragon pulls this match out of nowhere and has definately surprised Lethal as it looked like it was over...Possum played perfectly by Super Dragon!

Roderick Strong vs Brian Danielson vs Puma

(3 Way Dance #2)

This match isn't as good as the last one at all in fan reaction. The crowd just isn't as into these three guys as the last three but the wrestling is just about as good as the last match. Another upset in this match as well. Strong winds up hitting his Chokeslam into Backbreaker on Danielson to try and win the match but he was very close to the ropes when he hit it and his back was to the ropes. Puma takes advantage as he was on the outside and leaps up onto the apron and springboards off the top rope hitting his "Skull Crusher" (Blockbuster) on Strong and covers him..1...2....3! Puma pulls off the second upset in these 3 Way Dances. The two guys least likely thought to win these matches..do and now who the hell knows who is going to get to the Finals of this Tournament! It's anybody's game!

We finally get ourselves a different promo video as we get hype for the big Hardcore brawl that will be the "Cane Match" at Heatwave between The Messiah and The Sandman. It shows clips of CZW for Messiah and throwing Adam Flash off of a scaffolding through a layer of ladders in the ring. All kinds of hardcore shots and Messiah's face flowing Red. It shows clips of him recently in ECW with Sandman and some of Sandman's best moments as well and then it fades to black as it promotes their big match at Heatwave as well...bad when this match is more hotly anticipated than your ECW Heavyweight Title Match...

20 Man Battle Royale

(Main Event, For a ECW Title Shot at Sept to Rem.)

So far everyone is in the ring to this point except for five more guys and that's when Mick Foley's music hits and the crowd erupts in cheers for The Hardcore Legend. He plays to the fans slightly but seems very focused on the match at hand as he will have his own hands full with all four members of the New Breed in this match including his arch-rival at the moment...Matt Hardy...OHHHH YEEAAAA! Hardy's music hits right after Foley gets into the ring and he comes out to a HUGE set of boo's from the crowd. The crowd has been anticipating this match all night and it's ready to let loose on the big competitors in this match. Hardy climbs into the ring and stays put with his three guys. It seems like they might work as a team in this match. Then Chris Jericho's "King of My World" by Saliva hits and Jericho comes out from the back and down to the ring. No more stupid back to the crowd posing. He's a different man in ECW and he will act accordingly. He's all business as he gets into the ring and stands waiting...Two men left..and here's one! Kurt Angle's newest theme hits and he comes marching down to the ring but stops to pose a moment as a bit of pyro goes off and the crowd jumps to their feet for him. They do love the ECW Television Champ, Kurt Angle. Angle climbs into the ring and we've only got one more man in this contest and it's the Mystery Wrestler in tonight's match...the Lights go out and the arena is black and when the lights come back on...CHRISTIAN CAGE IS IN THE RING!!! HOLY CRAP!! Cage begins going at it with Angle immediately to go after the biggest guy he really could attack to start the match, and it's On!

Messiah and Sandman begin attacking each other immediately trying to pretty much tear each other's eyes out and being smart Rhino just hoists them both over the top rope as they are preoccupied with each other on one side of the ring, while they were leaning on the ropes punching each other

(Eliminations #1 & #2: The Messiah & Sandman)

Rhino then gets decked by a Flying Sean O'Haire's leg which caught him in the mush. Meanwhile Sabu and Lance Storm are brawling in one corner when London comes flying in to splash them both but both men catch him and chuck him over the top rope!!! Well there goes some of Hardy's backup!

(Elimination #3: Paul London)

The brawling between everyone continues until Cage catches Steve Corino with the Unprettier and picks him up to throw him over the top rope, eliminating him!

(Elimination #4: Steve Corino)

Meanwhile all this time for the first five minutes Kurt Angle after he got Cage off his back and Chris Jericho have been fighting it out in one corner or another, taking it to each other. Meanwhile in an opposite corner it's Mick Foley and Matt Hardy beating the utter crap out of each other with Foley getting the best of him in this exchange. It looks like Foley is going to hit his Running Knee in the corner on Hardy when O'Haire spears Foley out of nowhere to keep him from doing it! Meanwhile Terry Funk is able to clothesline Lance Storm over the top rope and out of the ring...somehow

(Elimination #5: Lance Storm)

Brian Kendrick leaps at Terry Funk to try and take him down but Funk just kind of tosses Kendrick and assists him through the air and over the top rope and he flatbacks the outside which has a thin layer of padding and he groans in pain as he is eliminated too!

(Elimination #6: Brian Kendrick)

Masato Tanaka, Tajiri and finally Terry Funk all go out as the next three eliminated. Random eliminations by other wrestlers and weren't of real note!

(Eliminations #7, #8 & #9: Masato Tanaka, Tajiri & Terry Funk)

At this point we're left with Jerry Lynn, Sean O'Haire, Rhino, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Christian Cage, Matt Hardy, Mick Foley, Sabu, CM Punk & Rey Mysterio! It gets fun from here.

CM Punk whom is surprisingly performing at a big time level in this match, is brawling with Sean O'Haire when he throws him back for a Russian Leg Sweep but gets his knee out and plants his foot to drive O'Haire's head into his knee and then holds onto him instead of letting him fall and while he's staggered..throws him over the top!

(Elimination #10: Sean O'Haire)

Kurt Angle comes running up behind CM Punk and chucks him over the top rope but Punk clings to the middle rope and manages to keep from both feet hitting the floor at the same time. Angle isn't able to continue the assault cause Jericho hits a "Flashback" (Sleeper Drop) on Angle as he ran at him and drives him to the mat. CM Punk slides himself back into the ring. Meanwhile Rhino and Sean O'Haire are going at it in one corner. O'Haire has control till Rhino reverses and begins driving his shoulder into O'Haire's gut very hard. Suddenly Sabu comes running at O'Haire as Rhino sees him and moves out of the way but O'Haire catches him and just projectile's him over his head...SABU VICIOUSLY CRACKS HIS CHEST INTO THE RINGPOST AND FALLS TO THE OUTSIDE!!!!!

(Elimination #11: Sabu)

Jerry Lynn at this point has taken over mainstage in the middle of the ring. He's going at it with Rey Mysterio and they both just had a huge sequence of reversals when he tries to throw Mysterio over the top rope but he lands on the apron and then Springboards off the top rope back at Lynn who catches him into a Devastating Powerbomb and hoists him back up and hits a Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb on Mysterio which just takes him out of the action. Lynn is then picked up by Jericho and Jericho goes to work with chops on him. Lynn reverses a whip to the ropes and sends Jericho in. Lynn telegraphs the back body drop and Jericho nails him with a kick to the chops for it. Jericho backs into the ropes again as Lynn staggers back and he runs at Lynn but this time LYNN BACK BODY DROPS JERICHO OVER THE TOP ROPE!

(Elimination #12: Chris Jericho)

At this point though Christian Cage is being an opportunist and runs up behind Lynn as he looks out on the eliminated Jericho and tosses Lynn out of the match as well!

(Elimination #13: Jerry Lynn)

At this point Matt Hardy is over picking the bones of a devastated and tired Mysterio and hits a Twist of Fate on him and with O'Haire's help, chuck him over the top rope via a double body press!

(Elimination #14: Rey Mysterio)

Now it's down to the meat and potatoes of this match: Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Matt Hardy, CM Punk, Christian Cage & Rhino! Hardy and CM Punk begin working over Foley as Cage and Angle go at it and Rhino stays on the mat, playing possum somewhat to get a breather and let them all work each other over. Cage and Angle are viciously going at it with HARD right hands back and forth. Eventully Angle getting the better of the exchange and whipping Cage into the ropes and catching him as he comes back with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex which is beautifully executed. Meanwhile Hardy and Foley are going at it on one end of the ring with Hardy actually getting the better of the exchange until from behind CM Punk spins Hardy around and kicks him in the gut, lifts him up and hits a BIG TIME Brainbuster on Hardy! Punk then grabs Hardy up and while he's stunned, tosses him over the top rope and to the outside!!!

(Elimination #15: Matt Hardy)

CM Punk then extends his hand out to Foley which is surprising in this kind of match and Foley takes it and they actually shake with honor..apparently CM Punk is a honest guy. Then they begin to wage war as CM Punk takes it to Foley with right hands and knees to the gut but Foley reverses it and begins hammering down right hands on Punk in the corner until he slumps to a seated position. Foley then jogs around the ring as he normally does and nails a huge Running knee to the head of CM Punk which has him on dream street. Foley comes out of the corner and does his "Bang Bang" pose and turns around in time to get a HUGE GORE from Rhino. Whom promptly picks the stunned Foley up and throws him over the top rope as well!

(Elimination #16: Mick Foley)

Now to make matters worse on the outside as Foley hits, Hardy is being helped to the back but he breaks away from the referee's helping him to the back and hoists Foley up in a hurry and hits a nasty Twist of Fate on the thin matting on the outside of the ring! Hardy taking another cheap shot at Foley just 24 hours away from their Steel Cage war!

Kurt Angle has now set his sights on CM Punk and is on the attack. Angle grabs him from behind when he attacks and hits a HUGE release German Suplex. Then he runs up to Christian whom was trying to get up after being taken down by Rhino a moment earlier and is laid out with a Monsterous Angle Slam on him! Angle then gets his head taken off by the Man Beast with a Lariat! Rhino then picks Cage up and tries to throw him out of the ring by the scruff of his neck but Christian reverse's position and tosses him over the top rope but Rhino lands on the apron but Cage then hits a basement dropkick to both of Rhino's knees while he stands there and Rhino falls off the apron to the outside!

(Elimination #17: Rhino)

Now it's down to Kurt Angle, Christian Cage and the amazing wildcard in this match it seems...CM Punk! The three of them are all to their feet and the crowd is actually chanting CM PUNK, CM PUNK over and over. Angle and Cage though gang up on Punk and begin hammering him with right hands and stomps once they take him down to the mat. Though after a second Cage turns his attention away from Punk and clocks Angle with a right hand. Christian stalks Angle and goes for the Unprettier but Angle turns it into another Angle Slam! Angle pulls down the straps and gets ready to slap on an Anklelock to Cage when from behind, grabbing him by his neck and his unitard..CM PUNK comes running up and chucks Kurt Angle over the top rope!!! Holy Crap! Where did he come from!!! CM Punk has made a big name for himself in this match! Punk then goes over to Cage and picks him up and wants to make a big impact so he sets him up onto the top rope and climbs up to deliver a Devastating Pepsi Plunge but Cage has just barely enough conciousness to block it and manages to tip Punk's balance to the left and send him careening to the outside!!! CHRISTIAN CAGE HAS WON!

(Elimination #18: Kurt Angle)

(Elimination #19: CM Punk)

(Winner: Christian Cage)

The crowd is going nuts after this match and although they were pulling for Punk in the end it seemed. They give Cage his proper dues and give him a big ovation as Extreme TV goes off the air with already a match set for September to Remember...Christian Cage challenging for the ECW Heavyweight Championship!

Alright the Addition of Christian Cage is going to actually be something that either the readers will or won't accept as an ECW Addition. There won't be any middle ground but it's definately an interesting little cog I wanted to throw in. There won't be any AJ Styles or Christopher Daniels at least joining heh. As of right now though the additions of Jerry Lynn whom is an ECW staple and the new arrival which is Christian Cage should be the only acquisitions up to this point for a while now.

As of right now the Lightweight 2nd Round of the Tournament shapes up like this for the month in between Heatwave and September to Remember.

Jay Lethal vs Puma

Rey Mysterio vs Brian Danielson

Roderick Strong vs Paul London

Brian Kendrick vs Super Dragon

The Semi-Finals will also happen before the September event and the Finals for the ECW Lightweight Championship will be held at September to Remember.

So right now Sept to Rem. is setup as

Finals of Lightweight Tournament

Christian Cage vs ECW Champion

Rest assured that card will begin coming together soon but now on with Heatwave! Final Card for Heatwave will be posted a Final time so people don't have to scroll around trying to find it.

The screen at home clicks onto the local PPV channel and as the FBI warning comes across the screen you are set for some Extreme Action tonight! Then the opening video comes across the screen and it's the four main promo videos laced with fake Flames coming up from the bottom of the screen as well as the screen seeming to smolder and burn itself like a picture into the next portion of the video promo with a voice overlay talking about how the Heat is Rising on tonight's Stars and it is time for them to either show up or they will face the heat! Then the video package ends and ECW welcomes you all to HEATWAVE!!!!!

We come into the ECW arena and a small amount of pyro by at least WWE standards goes off and Joey Styles welcomes us to ECW's August Pay Per View Extravaganza! Heatwave!

Joey Styles: Welcome everyone and thank you for joining us tonight at Heatwave. I am Joey Styles and I will be walking you step by step through all of the insane, high flying, extreme action here tonight. Rob Van Dam will defend his ECW Heavyweight Crown against "The Crippler" Chris Benoit!

Styles: Also the self proclaimed King of the World, Chris Jericho will challenge Kurt Angle for his ECW Television Title. Also it will be Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro with Melina...MNM facing off against the New Breed's Tag Team Combination of Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the Vacant ECW Tag Team Championships. On top of all this we will have a fight, a battle, a blood draining war between two men that hate each other! The New Breed's Leader Matt Hardy will take on the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley! But it's not just a match, not just a Hardcore Match or a Tables Match...It will be contested inside of a Fifteen Foot High Steel Cage! There is no escaping this cage. The only way to win is to beat your opponent so badly that they give up or you can pin them for a three count. There are these matches and much more and we're so glad to have you with us tonight!

The Messiah vs The Sandman

(Cane Match)

Literally as we focus in on the ring, the ringside area is littered with Singapore Canes..several dozen leaning against the guardrails, taped to the guardrails and leaning against the ring. Taped to the ringposts. Basically it's Singapore Cane heaven...or hell for one of these men! The Messiah's music hits and he comes down to the ring to brutal boo's from the crowd as everyone in this arena loves Sandman so therefore by default they hate Messiah. He flips off the crowd a couple times and gets to the ring. Then once he's in the ring "Enter Sandman" hits and Sandman starts making his way through the crowd. Smoking his cig and opening up beers and bashing them against his head till his forehead has slight cuts in it. He takes about four minutes to get down to the ring and is already probably halfway drunk from all the beers he had on his way to the ring. Sandman slides under the bottom rope and gets to his feet and stands across from The Messiah whom he has truely come to hate in the recent weeks. The bell sounds and both men almost seem to dive out of the ring for a Singapore Cane. Both men retrieve them off the ringposts and both men come back at each other. Messiah swings for the fences at Sandman's head but Sandman's ducks and cracks Messiah in the ribs with his Cane. This has Messiah drop his cane and Sandman GOES TO WORK ON HIM!! Sandman begins blasting Messiah with the Singapore Cane over and over to the back and finally he breaks that Singapore Cane over Messiah's head and it's basically broken in two. He covers Messiah after this..1...2...kickout by Messiah. Messiah has already been busted open in this match and of course Sandman made himself bleed pre-match. Sandman goes outside to get a steel chair and slides back in the ring with it. He sets it on the mat and picks Messiah up and goes to suplex him onto the chair but Messiah hoists Sandman up and hits a Reverse Suplex on Sandman down onto the chair!

This gives Messiah a breather for a moment and he scrambles out of the ring and digs underneath the ring and pulls out a plywood board...which has Singapore Canes stapled into it and they have Tacks sticking out of them!!!!....OH MY GOD! Messiah tries to get it into the ring but Sandman has recovered enough to get to his feet and...no dont...

Joey Styles: OHHHHH MYYYYYY GAWWWWWWDDDD!

Sandman basement dropkicked the Cane Covered and Tack Filled board into Messiah and it stuck to him like a Pin-Cushion. He had to pull himself away from it and he fell to the ground in shock as many small tiny holes begin to bleed on his arm, shoulder and side. Sandman slides out of the ring and grabs a Steel Chair from ringside. He picks it up and Messiah manages to get to his knees before Sandman cracks him in the skull with the steel chair! Sandman is on fire and obviously has lost it cause he gets Messiah back to his knees and sideswipes his face with a chair shot! He picks him up to his knees again and BLASTS HIM A THIRD TIME WITH THE CHAIR!!! Sandman is insane right now! Sandman goes over to the ring and reaches underneath the ring and pulls a Steel Chair out wrapped all around in Barbed Wire! Messiah is trying to summon the strength to get to his feet and is up to one knee and one foot on the ground when Sandman crashes that Barbed Wire Steel Chair ON AND WRAPPING IT AROUND HIS HEAD!!!! Messiah lets out a scream as he goes down and Sandman covers him on the outside and the referee gets down there and counts it...1....2....3!!! Sandman in a vicious Rage has destroyed his nemesis in the form of The Messiah! Sandman celebrates with beers in the ring while Messiah is attended to on the outside as Sandman celebrates his big win!

(Winner at 9:22: The Sandman)

Joey Styles: It looks like from how that match went that weeks of The Messiah trying to make a name for himself at the hands of Sandman, finally set him over the edge and unleashed a Brutal Assault like i've never seen before in this Arena and that's saying ALOT! But now we have to move on to our next match. It's a match that basically has Paul Birchill picking on the guy that everyone has always picked on in ECW..Mikey Whipwreck!

Mikey Whipwreck vs Paul Birchill

Mikey Whipwreck is the first man to the ring as his music hits and the crowd gives him a big ovation as he comes out and he plays it up to them and slaps some hands to the fans. Then once Whipwreck is in the ring, The Cocky son of a Bitch known as Paul Birchill makes his way down to the ring to a chorus of boo's raining down on him like a monsoon. Birchill gets to the ring and climbs inside and as the bell sounds he gets right up to Whipwreck's face and to insult him, bitch slaps him across the face! Whipwreck holds his face a moment and then lets out a carnal scream and jumps onto Birchill, "ala Stone Cold" and begins pounding the hell out of him with right hands as the match begins. Mikey then gets up and begins stomping the hell out of Birchill and Birchill scrambles out of the ring to give himself a second to compose himself! The crowd is really into Whipwreck right now! Whipwreck then hits the opposite side of the ring's ropes and leaps over the top rope at Birchill but Birchill catches him on the way over and drops him onto his knee in a HUGE gutbuster! Birchill then tosses Whipwreck back in the ring and climbs back into the ring himself.

He begins hammering down on poor Whipwreck with right hands and then whips him to the ropes and takes his head off with a Lariat that puts Whipwreck down to the mat. Birchill then hoists Whipwreck up and whips him as hard as he can into a corner and Whipwreck slams down face first to the mat. Birchill is in full control and picks up Whipwreck up onto his shoulders and drops him with a Death Valley Driver and covers him..1....2...kickout! Birchill though decided to finish Whipwreck while he was in control and picked him up and...HITS A HUGE C4!!! (Backflip with the opponent in Rock Bottom position and drive them into it as they both land) Birchill then covers Whipwreck, hooking the leg..1....2....3! Whipwreck never really got going in this match and Birchill dominated! Birchill though isn't done and goes to the outside and pulls a table from under the ring and sets it up in the ring. He sets Whipwreck up on the top rope facing towards the ring and C4 OFF THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE TABLE!!! Whipwreck lays in the ring seemingly out cold and Birchill trash talks down at him as we cut away to a video promo for September to Remember with alot of the current clips used in the ECW video packages right now!

MNM vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick

(ECW Tag Team Championship Match)

The first of three Title matches of the evening. This one most likely to steal the show with the four men in this match, all being exceptional in the ring. The first team out is Kendrick and London whom are absolutely hated by the crowd as part of the New Breed. They go boo'ed mercilessly as they go down to the ring and they ignore the crowd, focused on the task at hand to bring the ECW Tag Team Titles back to the New Breed! London and Kendrick flip into the ring and then MNM's music hits and they come sauntering out to a mixed reaction with Melina right between them as they pose. Then they make their way down to the ring and Melina helps herself into the ring...one leg at a time which is soooo hot. She then gets into the ring with Nitro and Mercury. Once everyone is in the ring the ECW Tag Team Titles are brought into the ring and the ref holds them up in the air and shows them to both teams. Then they are handed back out of the ring and the bell sounds as MNM takes their big fur coats off and we get set for tag team action. London starts off with Mercury in the ring. Kendrick/London corner in the top left if looking from the stage. MNM is bottom right. They lock up and London takes control in the early going with a headlock on Mercury. Mercury pushes him off to the left side ropes and London tries for a clothesline but Mercury ducks it and comes back at him off the other side with a shoulder block to knock him down.

Mercury hits the ropes again as London flips to his stomach and Mercury runs over him from the attempted trip by London. London gets to his feet and tries to leapfrog Mercury but Mercury just plants his knee where London's crotch will land. So London receives a painful landing and goes down to the mat. Mercury then picks London up and whips him into his team's corner and begins laying in hard right hands to the jaw of London. Mercury then tags in Nitro and they begin double teaming him in the corner with a massive beatdown with stomps and kicks. Nitro then takes over by picking London up and hitting a snap suplex and floating over for the cover..1....2.strong kickout by London. Nitro gets back on London with a ferociousness with right hands from a mounted position. Kendrick finally gets into the ring and sends a Superkick to the BACK OF NITRO'S HEAD!!! Nitro crumples in a heap as Kendrick gets back out of the ring and London makes his way over and tags him in. The tide has now changed in this match. Kendrick gets in the ring and picks Nitro up as he's trying to get up and whips Nitro into a neutral corner and runs at him delivering a hard splash to his chest. Then pulling him out of the corner into a driving bulldog to the mat! Kendrick rolls him over and covers him..1....2..kickout by Nitro. Kendrick picks him up and whips him to the ropes, telegraphing the back body drop and Nitro catches him by the hair and plants his knee, to drive Kendrick's head by the hair back into it. Nitro now manages to get over to his team's corner and tags Mercury in!

Mercury leapfrogs the top rope and lands a legdrop on Kendrick's neck as he was trying to get up and rolls him over for a pin..1...2...shoulder up by Kendrick. London at this point comes into the ring as Mercury gets up and hits a BIG Dropsault on Mercury, knocking him out of the ring and London runs over and knocks Nitro off the ring apron as well. Mercury and Nitro are regrouping on the outside and London takes advantage by springboarding up onto the top rope and LONDON STAR PRESS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN INTO MNM. Kendrick isn't ready to be outdown as he gets into the ring, holding his head and bounces off the far side ropes as all three men get up and he SUICIDE DIVES AT ALL THREE MEN TAKING THEM DOWN!!!

Kendrick picks up Mercury and throws him into the ring but Melina pulls Kendrick off the ring apron after he jumped up onto it and Kendrick smacks his face against the apron and falls to the matting on the outside. Mercury's turn now as he runs at the ropes and palancha's over the top rope into Kendrick whom was getting up again and London. It's mayhem outside the ring! Nitro and Mercury act quickly though and yank up London and roll him into the ring. They pick him up into their tag team finisher and LAY HIM OUT WITH IT. Kendrick is climbing to the top rope as Nitro covers London...1....2...LEGDROP FROM THE TOP ROPE ON NITRO TO BREAK UP THE PINFALL!!!! Mercury comes over and picks up Kendrick, trying to grab him into a suplex position for a move but Kendrick throws his arms up to block it and grabs him by the neck, running over and up the ropes and OH MY GOD MERCURY THROWS KENDRICK OFF TO THE OUTSIDE AND KENDRICK LANDS FLAT ON HIS BACK ON THE OUTSIDE!!! London is up now though just barely and Mercury turns into a vicious running Dropsault by London. This knocks Mercury into the turnbuckles and he bounces off a bit of a ways out into the ring. London takes this small opening and runs over him and jumps up to the top rope. He doesn't waste any time...LONDON STAR PRESS!!! He hits it..1...2.....3!!! Nitro is just late breaking up the pin and London has won it for him team!!! London rolls out of the ring and helps Kendrick up as both men are handed their NEWLY WON ECW TAG TEAM TITLES! The Matt Hardy/Mick Foley expanded video package plays with their interviews and words at each other thrown into the video package itself that has been airing the last couple weeks. This builds it all up to what is going to happen right now...STEEL CAGE MAYHEM!

Matt Hardy vs Mick Foley

(Steel Cage Match)

We went away for about four minutes for this video package and the Steel Cage has been almost completely constructed. There are about 30 guys around the ring, working on it feverishly to get it up. That's when Cactus Jack's music hits and Mick Foley comes out wearing his Cactus Jack outfit and it's announced as Cactus Jack and this may mean big time trouble for Matt Hardy as now he's walking into the match against a man with a far different mindset. It's now Matt Hardy vs Cactus Jack! Cactus gets to the ring and does his signature "BANG BANG" at ringside and then climbs into the ring through the Steel Cage Door which has been taken care of and the Cage is set to go. Then once Cactus is in the ring....OOHHHHH YEEEAAAAAA! Matt Hardy comes out from the back to a HUGE amount of boo's. This is one of those big matches the crowd has been anticipating. Hardy makes his way down to the ring, all by himself tonight as he promised. He climbs up the ring steps and into the ring, now realizing he's across the ring not from Mick Foley but from Cactus Jack. Hardy acts like he's not intimidated at all and grabs the bars of the cage, shaking to see if it's sturdy. The bell sounds and the match is on. Cactus wastes no time running at Hardy and backing him into a corner, so he can pound on him with right hands. Cactus is on fire early with rights and lefts that connect and pound down Hardy. Cactus whips Hardy across the ring to the opposite corner (They were in bottom right if looking from the stage, now in top left) Hardy slams into the corner with a thud and a shake of the cage. Cactus follows him in with a huge clothesline splash that staggers Hardy. Cactus then beats Hardy down in the corner and pounds him with rights till he's sitting down and then he stalks around the ring and Delivers a huge...NO Hardy lept up and sent a stiff kick to the right knee that Cactus was running at him with.

Cactus goes down holding his knee and Hardy goes to work. Hardy begins stomping the hell out of his right knee, trying to knock it out of the socket with hard wrenches and slamming it to the mat with his own knees driving it down. Hardy then locks in a Leg Grapevine on Cactus but come on now...Cactus won't tap. Hardy breaks the hold after a moment and picks Cactus up, he whips him to the ropes but follows him in and clotheslines him as he hits the ropes and it bashes Cactus's head up against the bars of the Cage (This is an Old School Cage. Bars not Fencing)

Cactus holds his head in pain and this allows Hardy to drive him to the mat with a hard DDT and gets into the cover..1...2...kickout by Cactus. Hardy picks Cactus up and tries to lift him up for a Vertical Suplex but Cactus blocks it and lifts Hardy into one of his own. Cactus gets into the cover on Hardy..1...2...kickout by Hardy. Cactus then picks Hardy up and whips him to the ropes and as he comes back at Cactus...POWERSLAM. Cactus drives Hardy into the Canvas and stands up to do his "Bang, Bang" pose to the crowd which gets an already riled up crowd, even hotter for this match. Cactus takes Hardy into the corner and sets him on the top turnbuckle facing the cage and yanks him back...Tree of Woe! Foley then walks around the ring once and runs at him to deliver a NASTY Running Elbow Drop to the face of Matt Hardy. Cactus doesn't cover him though, instead picking him up and by the scruff of his neck throwing him head first into a side of the cage which Hardy falls back from and down to the mat. Cactus then repeats this three more times and on the fourth shot to the head, Hardy is bleeding from his head pretty good.

Foley grins sadistically and picks Hardy up and takes him over to another corner (Top right) and sets him onto the top turnbuckle. Cactus climbs up and gets set to deliver a Superplex but Hardy headbutts Cactus which knocks him back to the canvas and Hardy gets on the top turnbuckle and moves over a bit so he's now on the top rope and tries to climb out of the Cage! Cactus gets up there quick enough and tries to stop Hardy by bashing his head into the cage but Hardy blocks it...He wasn't trying to escape after all! He was ploying Cactus in! He instead smashes Cactus's face against the Steel Bars and then...RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP OFF THE TOP ROPE!!! Hardy lands just as hard as Jack and can't get into the pin immediately. He does get over after a few seconds...1....2....NO! Cactus Jack gets his shoulder up at the very last second and Hardy looks frustrated. Hardy motions that it's over and he goes and quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle and then scampers up to the top of the cage. We've seen him do this before! Hardy motions for the Legdrop and LEAPS OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE WITH A LEGDROP THAT FINDS NOTHING!!! Cactus moved at the last second and Hardy dances around the ring on his ass in agony as that legdrop did not find the mark. Cactus gets up and yanks Hardy to his feet and picks him up into Piledriver position and DRIVES HIS HEAD INTO THE MAT WITH A HUGE PILEDRIVER, PULLING HIM DOWN BY HIS PANTS WITH IT!!!

That should be it as Cactus Jack covers Hardy..1....2.....NO! Hardy somehow by the grace of god himself got a shoulder up with a paper's thickness count away from the ref hitting for three. Cactus decides that at this point after playing it up to the crowd for a moment he's going up top. He climbs up the turnbuckles and Hardy whom has recovered a slight bit to this point but is still staggered, goes after him. Hardy climbs the ropes and uses the Cage for balance as Cactus climbs to the top of the cage as well. The top of the cage isn't the normal top mind you, It's WWEsque with a kind of metal bars setup so people can stand somewhat. Cactus Jack is up there first and he cuts Hardy off by smashing Hardy's face into the Steel bar up there but Hardy holds on and pokes Cactus in the eye. Hardy hoists himself up there as well and gets to his feet as does Cactus...This is very dangerous right now! Hardy and Cactus Jack engage in a punch war 15 to 20 feet in the air. They slug each other back and forth with haymakers. Cactus gets the last swing in but Hardy ducks it and snatches Cactus Jack into his grasp...SIDE EFFECT OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE DOWN TO THE RING BELOW!!!!!

Styles: OH MY GOOOOOODDDDDDD CACTUS JACK AND MATT HARDY MAY BE DOA IN THE RING!

The crowd chants "ECW" and "Holy F-Bomb" for a couple minutes while replays are shown of this incredible move to the PPV viewers and finally Hardy moves just slightly to drag his body over to Cactus Jack and he throws an arm over him...1....2.....3!!! Matt Hardy has pulled off what has to be seen as an upset by beating not Mick Foley but Cactus Jack! Hardy's music plays as the referee holds his arm up but Hardy is completely out of it as we go to a video package promoting ECW Extreme TV to give the tech guys time to deconstruct the Steel Cage!

Sabu vs Super Dragon

Good luck Sabu & Super Dragon in trying to follow those last two matches. The crowd seems to be in a lull as this match starts, in between getting back from the slight intermission and just plain wiped out from being insane for the last two big bouts. Super Dragon is first to the ring to a pretty good reaction although it's mixxed. He's a Uber Heel but he's so good that he's cool to like. Super Dragon gets into the ring and then Sabu's music hits and the crowd gives him a pretty good pop as he comes running down to the ring with a chair and slides into the ring and the bell sounds as Sabu tries to give Super Dragon a face full of chair but Dragon ducks it and spinkicks Sabu right in the stomach. Dragon takes control from here with hard right hands to Sabu and then backs him into the ropes and whips him across the ring and snaps off a hurricarana on Sabu. Super Dragon then goes into a pin..1...2..kickout. Dragon picks Sabu up and Sabu breaks the hold and hits a basement dropkick to Dragon's left knee. Sabu then goes on a rampage for a couple minutes viciously stomping Dragon's knee. Dragon finally begs for mercy and Sabu isn't going to give it to him but Dragon low blows Sabu and takes control back. Super Dragon picks Sabu up and locks in a Full Nelson hold on Sabu and Throws him back into a BIG TIME Dragon Suplex and holds it in a bridge for the pin..1...2...kickout by Sabu.

Dragon goes outside the ring and pulls something from under the ring...a PANE OF GLASS WHAT THE HELL?? Dragon smirks and it's barely seen through the mask and he waits for Sabu to get up and SMASHES THE PANE OF GLASS OVER SABU'S HEAD!!! Sabu crumples to the mat and begins to bleed heavily from his head. Dragon isn't done yet but he picks Sabu up and..PYSCHO DRIVER TO THE SHATTERED GLASS!!! Super Dragon drags Sabu out of it and through it and covers Sabu...1...2.....3! This is a huge victory for Super Dragon and he gloats over Sabu and then locks him into a Mexican Surfboard move but holds his wrists and puts his foot against his head...CURB STOMP DOWN INTO THE GLASS OH MY GOD!!!! Sabu is left twitching in the ring and in a pool of his own blood as Super Dragon leaves with a huge victory!

Rhino vs Sean O'Haire

After the glass is swept out of the ring, the next match is set to start and Sean O'Haire's music hits and he comes out from the back to a pretty good heel pop from the crowd. O'Haire comes down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope and he's ready for action as is the next competitor! Rhino's music hits and he hits the ring full force, running down the stairs and to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and the bell sounds and the match begins. Both men begin slugging it out and just as it's getting started....it ends! Because a masked man comes out of the crowd with a lead pipe and slides into the ring, unknown to both wrestlers and CLOCKS BOTH OF THEM WITH THE PIPE!!! The referee and many other officials come running down to the ring as the bell is sounded to end the match. They swarm the ring to get this fan out of the ring when he pulls off his mask and ITS CHRISTIAN CAGE WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Cage threatens to beat both men in the ring more if he doesn't get a microphone right now!

Cage: This is what happens when my Peeps and all of you ECW Fans don't take me seriously! Now you might ask what the hell are you talking about. I've heard the rumors and the crap on the internet about how...Oh Christian Cage isn't ECW. He can't be Hardcore.

Rhino is getting up at this moment and Cage cracks him in the skull again with the pipe, busting him open!

Cage: Well I can be just as nasty and sadistic as any man in this business. I can go through your "Barbed Wire" and "Thumb Tack" filled arena. I can dish out as much punishment as I will take and THESE two chumps here are examples of what I will do to either Rob Van Dam or Chris Benoit...Or whoever else wins that Belt before September to Remember....Because THATS...no you know what. Screw you people you don't even deserve a catchphrase

The crowd proceeds to boo Christian mercilessly as he gets out of the ring and backs up the aisle of his own accord as the officials and refs tend to Rhino and O'Haire in the ring, both unconcious

Kurt Angle vs Chris Jericho

(ECW Television Title Match)

Chris Jericho's "King of My World" hits and he comes out from the back to a HUGE POP of boo's from the crowd. Biggest heat of the night on anyone. The crowd lets him have it so bad as he makes his way to the ring, shrugging their boo's off and ignoring them. He saunters up the ringsteps and poses on the ropes. Then he climbs into the ring and then Kurt Angle's newest theme (ECW theme) Hits and the crowd because they like Angle as well as just hating Jericho give him the BIGGEST Face reaction of the night as he comes out and it feels like 2001 all over again with the pop's in this match. Angle has the ECW Television Belt around his waist as he points to the sky and pyro goes off behind him. Angle makes his way to the ring, slapping some hands of fans and then runs up the ringsteps and gets into the ring. He hands the ECW TV Title off to the ref after posing a moment and the bell sounds so we can get underway! There is an audible buzz in the crowd for this match. Both men lock up and we get ourselves a chain wrestling clinic. Angle wrenches Jericho's arm over but Jericho reverses it and goes behind into a hammerlock. Angle snatches him into a headlock and takes him over in a headlock takedown. Angle then sinches in the headlock hard on Jericho but Jericho gets him up to a vertical base and pushes him off to the ropes.

Angle comes back and hammers Jericho to the mat with a shoulder block and then hits the ropes as Jericho flips to his stomach trying to trip Angle. Angle leaps over and hits the other side of the ring's ropes and as he comes back he gets caught by a headscissors from Jericho that takes Angle down to the mat and Jericho tries to squeeze the air out of Angle. Angle kicks out of it and gets to his feet as Jericho does but Angle gets vicious with his attack and floors Jericho with a straight right hand. Angle then grabs Jericho as he's getting up and whips him as hard as he can into the top left turnbuckles and Jericho slams into them and hits the mat. The crowd is super hot throughout all these exchanges and the action doesn't really slow down from here. Angle stalks after Jericho and picks him up just to throw him over the top rope to the outside. Angle climbs out of the ring and grabs Jericho, throwing him by the scruff of his trunks and his hair back first into the guardrail! Angle then stomps away at Jericho on the ground. Taking his liberties on the man that has tortured him for weeks. Angle then picks Jericho up and wraps his arms around him...BELLY TO BELLY OVERHEAD STYLE ON THE OUTSIDE!!! Jericho's back arches into the air as he yells in pain. Angle seems to have a smirk on his face as if he's enjoying all the suffering that he's inflicting upon Jericho.

Angle picks Jericho up and goes to smash his face into the ringpost but Jericho gets his boot up against it and blocks it and sends Angle face first into the post! Jericho then hits a bulldog on the outside on a staggered Angle to take control of this TV Title Match! Jericho taunts the crowd a moment and then reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a table and shoves it into the ring, stomping Angle a few times afterwards. Then Jericho pulls a Trash Can with weapons from under the ring as well and tosses them into the ring. Jericho then picks Angle up and rolls him into the ring and tries to climb into the ring himself but Angle gets up quick and hits a shoulder block on Jericho in the gut to stun him. Angle then hits the opposite side of the ring and comes running back at Jericho but slides through Jericho's feet and leaps back up onto the ring apron behind him with a waistlock! ANGLE DOESN'T EVEN GIVE JERICHO A CHANCE TO REACT!!! GERMAN SUPLEX OFF THE RING AND INTO THE GUARDRAIL WHICH BREAKS INTO SECTIONS AS THEY SLIDE INTO THE CROWD!!!!!

The crowd is chanting "Holy Shit" for a moment or two as a replay is shown and both men try to recover from this move! Angle is the first to move and he struggles to his feet and picks Jericho up whom seems to be limp and brings him to the ring and rolls him inside. Angle isn't done though and climbs to the top rope from the ring apron and seems poised to LEAP OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR HIS PICTURE PERFECT MOONSAULT WHICH CONNECTS FOR ONCE!!! Angle holds onto Jericho for the cover..1....2...NO! Jericho somehow got a shoulder up out of instinct and not wanting to lose to Angle. Angle slides out of the ring and grabs two Steel Chairs from ringside and slides into the ring with them and sets them up like you would sit in them in the middle of the ring. Angle picks Jericho up and goes for the Angle Slam onto the opened Chairs but Jericho reverses it and lands behind the chairs but as he's coming down he hits a FLASHBACK ON ANGLE TO THE OPENED CHAIRS AND IT CRACKS ANGLE IN THE SKULL!!!!!

Jericho pushes the chairs out of the way and covers Angle..1....2....shoulder up by Angle! Jericho is the first man to his feet at this point. The crowd split in half with chants of "Let's Go Jericho!" Let's Go Kurt!" over and over. Each side yelling it back at the other as these two go at it in the ring. Jericho picks up the trash can and empties it's contents into the ring and goes to slug Angle right in the head with it as Angle is to his knees but Angle leaps up to his feet and Drop Toe Holds Jericho with the Trash Can right into one of the opened Chairs! Chair + Trash Can = Jericho's Bloody Face! Jericho is busted open after that move and it gets messy in a hurry as the Trash Can blew open into sharp ragged edges and gutted Jericho's forehead. Angle picks Jericho up from behind...Release German Suplex! Angle gets into the cover..1...2....kickout! Angle seems to be getting frustrated and picks Jericho up and wraps his arms around him again for another Belly to Belly but Jericho elbows Angle in the head several times to knock the hold loose. Jericho then hooks Angle's arms and takes him over in a Double Underhook Backbreaker and then keeps Angle up and drops him with a NASTY Spike DDT to a street sign that had been dumped onto the mat. Jericho then covers Angle...1...2...KICKOUT! Angle again kicks out and Jericho is beginning to get frustrated. Jericho knocks a chair over and it folds up onto the mat and he gets set to go for a Lionsault but Angle grabs the steel chair and as Jericho springs off the ropes for it. Angle GETS HIS KNEES UP WITH THE CHAIR AGAINST HIS KNEES!!! It drives up into Jericho's mid-section which stuns him as he staggers around the ring. Angle gets up and ANGLE SLAM! Angle gets into the cover..1...2....NO!

Angle can't believe Jericho kicked out and Angle pulls down the straps after getting to his feet and begins stomping on the mat, poised to strike again. Angle tries to hit another Angle Slam but Jericho ends up behind him and goes for a Flashback but Angle blocks it with an elbow before he can lock it in. Angle then picks the ankle of Jericho and goes for the Anklelock but Jericho rolls through and it sends Angle projecting headfirst into the top turnbuckle which staggers him out of the corner and Jericho rolls him up and pulls on Angle's Tights!..1....2...NO! Angle kicks out and Jericho is as well getting frustrated but the crowd is eating this match up. Boo'ing the hell out of Jericho when he's cheating and cheering like all hell when Angle is beating the crap out of Jericho. Jericho motions that it's over and he grabs Angle's legs and goes for the Walls of Jericho but ANGLE PULLS HIM INTO A SMALL PACKAGE...1...2.....3!!! Angle's music hits and Jericho can't believe it and begins arguing with the referee immediately as Angle lies on the mat, pretty spent from the match and the beating. Jericho flips out and grabs the other steel chair in the ring and begins hammering it down onto Angle's right arm and Ribs...OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER! Jericho finally picks an out of it Angle up and sets him into a corner and backs up to the other corner and runs full speed and DELIVERS ONE OF THE NASTIEST STRAIGHT CHAIR SHOTS EVER SEEN! Angle is out cold as he hits the mat and Jericho snatches the ECW Television Title away from the referee and He's Leaving With It!!! Jericho apparently thinks because he cheap shotted Angle over and over he gets to be TV Champ...Wrong Buster! But we go to the video package for the Main Event as the carnage is ending from this match!

A Video package airs showing all the vicious attacks of Chris Benoit on the ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam and their issues over the past few weeks though the fans don't really seem very excited about this Championship Bout!

Chris Benoit vs Rob Van Dam

(ECW Heavyweight Title Match)

The crowd is kinda burnt out after the last match as when Benoit comes out the crowd isn't nearly as loud for him as they were for Jericho. He stomps down to the ring for his Championship shot here tonight. Once he's in the ring though, RVD's music hits and the crowd still gives him a very big pop and he comes out with the ECW Heavyweight Championship around his waist as he makes his way down to the ring. RVD climbs into the ring and hands the belt off to the ref whom holds it up and the match is set to begin but before it can even get underway Benoit cheap-shots RVD with a clothesline taking him over the top rope and to the outside before the bell can ring! Benoit then begins his attack on RVD with Stomps and chops as RVD staggers back towards the entryway. Benoit takes him in a headlock past the entryway and to the backstage area where both men begin brawling with back and forth right hands. RVD eventully gets the best of the exchange and grabs Benoit, trying to whip him into a concrete wall but Benoit reverses sending RVD in as hard as he can be thrown! RVD Cracks against the wall and slumps to his knees in pain. Benoit proceeds to give RVD a straight kick to his mouth to knock him all the way down. Benoit sees a Table being used for Merchandise and knocks all the merchandise off of it and pulls it over to where RVD is. Benoit picks RVD up and tries to German Suplex him onto the table Release style! RVD ends up landing on his feet just behind the table and Benoit turns around in time to get his face smashed into the table. RVD repeatedly does this till he can get Benoit onto the table and he climbs himself up onto the table.

RVD then hooks Benoit up...FISCHERMAN'S BUSTER THROUGH THE TABLE TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!!! Oh wow RVD has possibly crushed Benoit's neck! RVD then picks a limp Benoit up onto his shoulders and carries him back towards the ring. The crowd erupts as RVD re-emerges with Benoit over his shoulders. Benoit though as they walk up the aisle is playing a slight bit of possum because he's not unconcious! Benoit slides off RVD's Shoulders and GERMAN SUPLEXES HIM TO THE CONCRETE!!! Benoit and RVD are both down and finally Benoit starts to get up and picks RVD up and puts him into a headlock to bring him back to the ring. He rolls RVD into the ring and climbs up on the apron and to the top rope for himself. The bell finally sounds and the match begins although it's already been ten minutes! Benoit comes off the top with his Suicide Headbutt to find nobody home! RVD moved and he snatches Benoit up and hits a Fischerman's Buster in the middle of the ring and runs over to the far corner and leaps up...FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH CONNECTS!!!! RVD Rolls through a moment and scampers back to make the cover..1....2....3!!! Rob Van Dam's music hits and the crowd cheers for him retaining his title. The referee hands him the ECW Title and he climbs to the top rope and celebrates and that's when we see Christian Cage clapping at the entryway and pointing at RVD and making a Belt motion around his waist and that is how Heatwave Ends!!!
