Uwe Boll's challenge

1. Halo is an overrated pile as a single player game.

2. Peter Jackson is acting as Executive Producer, I believe. That doesn't mean he's doing anything other than helping the movie get made.

Him directing it would be cool and would totally help the movie's cause, but it has to have a story that's completely different than the video game's. The video game is light on story so you can kill things dead. Movies don't usually work that way. Also, factor in that Master Chief is a horrible lead character for a big budget film. He's a goofball with horrible "catchphrase -like" dialogue in Halo 2, and he's not marketable because wears a fucking helmet all the time. It's gonna tank if it doesn't have a lead actor...and if it has the right actor, you need to see his face.
