I've seen a band called Crash Car Burn. Thats close enough for me.

Who are these guys?

As Livid mentioned, they did Lita's theme, although that song was pretty wank. The song I always say people should check out of theirs is "As I Watch The Sun Fuck The Ocean", which is a really good little song.

They try to be some sort of cross between SOAD and Korn, but ultimately come across as boring (To me at least).

Yeah, I don't see either of them two in there. They aren't anything special though, so I'll grant the "boring" call.

...What? Were you listening to the same band? They sound nothing like either of those two bands. If anything, they sound like a cross between Incubus and The Deftones.

Deftones? Incubus, I can see.....but not Deftones.

Boy Hits Car basically do a "far, mystical east" sounding take on Nu-metal/rap-rock style template to some extent, Keith...if that makes any sense.

I got the SOAD bit from from the style of the songs I guess. For example "I'm A Cloud" has the whole SOAD "Lets build up with slightly vibrato-y vocals and then kick in". And korn...meh...I was speculating. I haven't heard a lot, and the only guy I know who likes them is like totally obsessed with Korn and told me they were like Korn...why should I not believe him? :shifty: I guess we all lie when we want people to check out bands we like...but it didn't work, as I don't like Korn either. :shifty:

Plus when I say bands sound like each other, don't take it too literally. For example I say The Spill Canvas are possibly the closest band to Coheed & Cambria (Yes, I do apologise for bringing them up, it's the bes example I can think of), yet they sound nothing much like each other. It's just that they build their songs in the same way, most of their songs move at a 'groove' isntead of being pure 'rocking'...or something.
