I'm fanboying local bands at the moment: Eat Me (who we've now played with a few times and will be again next month), Bear vs Manero, Punching Swans and Kill Rpnzl (who are coming to play with us for a second time on 1st August).

This might be a blast from a somewhat irrelevant past, but I'm listening to the Fleet Foxes album for what must be the first time since it came out. So like six years ago or something.

Now i never even liked it that much in the first place. But it is so good now. Maybe the hype got to me last time round. If I remember correctly, Bon Iver was around at the time and I hated him and I think it put me off all that beardy folk music stuff for a while.
