Follow the links below to download a PDF version of the first issue of these classic Vertigo series now collected in graphic novel form. When you visit the Graphic Novels section of VertigoComics.com, any graphic novel titles with a #1 icon () will have a download of the ground-breaking first issue!

DC/Vertigo are now allowing the first trade paperbacks in many of their popular series to be downloaded for free. The first five to seven issues of Preacher, Sandman, Doom Patrol, Fables, Hellblazer, and many many more are now downloadable in a PDF format.

This is great news for anyone interested in trying out some of Vertigo's many offerings, but being unsure if the books are for them. Now you can try them out without losing anything.

Pepsi beat me too it, go and read Fables NOW, on the whole, its fantastic. Even if, for me, it got a crap five or six books in.

The one after the one after the Invasion of Fabletown. The one with whatshisname back in the homelands. Yeah, that fucking sucked.
