Backstory

Court H. Bauer attempted to be a successful owner of Major League Wrestling. However, even after the great shows they would produce, Bauer was forced to shut the doors to the wrestling promotion. Shortly after, Bauer was contacted by World Wrestling Entertainment to join their staff as a writer. There, he had three great years as a writer with the most powerful company running today. Bauer earned $4,000,000 dollars a year with the company, being called one of the best writers, but times would change for Bauer. In September of 2006, Bauer was released by the WWE after a lackluster performance for the past six months from Bauer. They bought out the rest of his contract, giving him a total of $20,000,000 dollars. However Bauer knew his time in wrestling wasn't over.

Shortly after his departure from the WWE, Bauer decided that he wanted to start his own wrestling promotion... Again... Bauer hired a group of writers, road agents, referee's and producers. Some had come with him from the WWE while others were signed from free agency. Bauer needed to decide on a name for this new promotion he had concocted up. Him and his writers got together and decided upon Universal Championship Wrestling. They began promotion's for the company even without any wrestlers. Bauer knew that his promotion wouldn't be big at first, but his dream to destroy the WWE would come eventually. Court needed to hire a big name right now. He had many big names to think about, but only one person wanted World Wrestling Entertainment to go down as much as Bauer. Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

Bret Hart was happy with the WWE putting him into the Hall of Fame, but he had to face the facts in that Vince McMahon screwed him. Now was Bret Hart's chance to turn around and screw Vince McMahon. Bret Hart signed on with Court Bauer and was happy to become the commissioner of the UCW. Bret Hart now needed to help Court sign on some wrestlers and have Court handle the television contract. Bret knew that the old age of wrestling was gone, but Hart decided that mixing the old wrestling way with a mix of attitude would be perfect for the UCW. Court Bauer was able to sign a television contract deal with MTV who had recently given up on Wrestling Society X and noticed that with Bret Hart at the helm, UCW could be a company on the rise.

Bauer signed the deal with the first episode of UCW Showdown being on November 4, 2006. With the $10,000,000 Bauer had put into this project, Bret knew he would have to hire some big name people along with quite a few indy workers as most big names wouldn't be willing to work for a start up company with a one hour television deal. Bret had noticed TNA and had thought about joining them to take down WWE, but Hart realized that the name alone wouldn't work for TNA. Bret thought about it but eventually stayed at home for six more months until being contacted by Bauer to join the UCW. Bret signed around 30 wrestlers, which he figured would be plenty for the start. Bret Hart and Court H. Bauer had started a revolution for wrestling. They both wanted to take down the WWE, and this was just the beginning.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone and Josh Matthews

From: Kissimmee, Florida (Milennium Theatre)

Josh Matthews and Tony Schiavone welcome us to the inagural show of UCW Showdown. Bret Hart's music plays as "The Hitman" walks out from the back. He takes his time to get to the ring with his blue jeans on, Bret Hart classic t-shirt on and black leather jacket. No sunglasses however as he finally get's into the ring. He looks around at the small crowd, but still smiles knowing that this is the beginning of something special. Matthews and Schiavone quiet down as Bret begins to speak.

Bret Hart: The very first episode of UCW Showdown, coming to you stright from the warm swamps in Kissimmee, Flordia. Tonight is a night of firsts. For everyone at home, watching us on MTV, we thank you. For everyone here inside the Milennium Theatre, we thank you and we promise not to dissapoint.

The small crowd cheers as Bret Hart walks around the ring gingerly. He drops the microphone down to his side for a moment before bringing it back up to speak into. Schiavone and Matthews begin to talk about how great it is to see Bret Hart back in a wrestling ring in any compacity.

Bret Hart: We are pleased to announce, that in three weeks, we will have our very first pay-per-view. Apparently, the people in the head offices were able to book us on pay-per-view, but the only catch they told us is that it's going to have to replace that week's edition of Showdown as the show will be on a Saturday.

The crowd stays silent as not knowing wheather that is a good thing or a bad thing. They realize however, that any pay-per-view spot is good because in order to survive in the wrestling buisness, you must make big money and a PPV spot can land you just that.

Bret Hart: Now that the pay-per-view buiseness is out of the way, I expect everyone wants to know what to expect here in Universal Championship Wrestling. First off, tonight, the first main event in UCW history will be sure to be a blockbuster. Samoa Joe will face AJ Styles!

Everyone in the crowd begins to cheer with the sound of the huge main event being announced. Tony and Josh talk about the rivalry's the two men had in Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and how tonight's match should be incredible.

Bret Hart: However, that is only the beginning of what that match will mean. Over the next three weeks, which includes tonight, the main event will be a single's match. The catch is, the winners of the match will move on to the main event at UCW Danger Zone and face off in a triple threat match for the UCW World Championship! Nobody will know if they will have the opportunity until I announce the match at the beginning of each show, just to keep everyone on their toe's. Thank you for your time, and let's get this show on the road.

Bret Hart leaves the ring to a loud chorus of cheers. He gives some fans high fives on his way to the back while Schiavone and Matthews build up tonights main event and the UCW Danger Zone pay-per-view.

Single's Match

Derek Frazier vs. Air Paris

Referee: Scott Armstrong

Both men come out of the locker room strong and try to show everyone just what the UCW has to offer. Air Paris hit's a flying senton splash to the outside as Derek Frazier comes down the aisle. Both men are laid out for a second, but Paris picks up Frazier and rolls him into the ring. Pinfall goes for only a two as Derek Frazier kicks out. Paris tries to execute a moonsault but get's nothing but the mat. Later in the match, Frazier picks up Paris for the Impact Driver but get's reversed, sending a frusterated Derek Frazier to the outside. While outside, Frazier picks up a steel chair from the audiance and comes into the ring only to hit an unsuspecting Air Paris with the steel chair. After the match, Frazier begins yelling at Air Paris, telling him never to take Derek Frazier lightly again.

(Overall Rating: 47%)

Winner: Air Paris via. Disqualification

From the back, Bill Alfonso comes out to a series of boo's from the crowd. Fonzie blows his whistle as loud as he can until he walks around the ring and get's the microphone from the ring announcer Kevin Marx. Fonzie jumps into the ring and queits the crowd down who boo's even louder.

Bill Alfonso: I came back to wrestling! I came back, because I know that I am one of the greatest manager's of all time. Most people in the back don't need a manager to guid them through their career, but I found an experianced man who asked me to manage him!

Not a single person isn't booing as they all begin to chant rude gesture's towards Bill Alfonso. He lowers the microphone and begins blowing his whistle as loud as he can while Schiavone talks about how god awful the whistle is.

Bill Alfonso: Unlike you bunch of hicks, this man actually has a future in the buiseness. And now because of me joining him at his side, he will become one of the greatest wrestlers the UCW has ever seen! I know you are all anxious to see who it is so, let's have him come on out now.

The crowd watches the curtains while Jimmy Rave bursts through them with a boult of energy. He makes his way down to the ring. He brushes back his hair as he enters the ring. He shakes hands with Bill Alfonso, only to give him a giant hug. Alfonso raises Rave's arm high in the air as the crowd boo's and Josh Matthews sends us to a commercial break.

When we come back, Tony Schiavone enform's us about the upcoming match between Fast and Furious (Jay Fury and Jerelle Clarke) who are taking on Canadian Violence (Bobby Roode and Matt Roode). Matthews informs us that Bobby and Matt are cousin's from Canada, explaining the team name.

Tag Team Match

Fast and Furious vs. Canadian Violence

Referee: Brian Hebner

Jerelle Clarke throw's everything they have to offer at Bobby Roode as both men start off the match. Clarke's clear size disadvantage is a problem as Roode catches him going for a crossbody and delivers a powerslam on the youngster. Bobby tag's in Matt who goes stright for Clarke's neck, delivering a giant knee drop across his neck. Jay Fury finally comes in the ring like a house of fire and hits a giant DDT on Matt Roode, but while he is facing Roode, Bobby Roode comes from behind with the Northern Lariat. Allowing Matt Roode to get the pinfall for the huge win. Canadian Violence celebrate's on their way to the back as Fast and Furious talk about their loss in the ring.

(Overall Rating: 58%)

Winner: Canadian Violence via. Pinfall

In the back locker room area, Todd Grisham is standing by with AJ Styles who is dressed for his match later tonight with Samoa Joe. Styles has his hood up as Grisham begins the interview with the former NWA World Champion.

Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentleman, my guest at this time... "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. AJ, tonight you will face the "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe for a shot at the UCW World Championship in three weeks at UCW Danger Zone. What is your mindset heading into this huge match?

AJ throws his hood off of his head in an obvious attempt to get some pops. Styles looks at Todd then back at the camera.

AJ Styles: So, tonight I have to face Samoa Joe. The man I have waged many a war's with back in TNA. Sure Joe may have been unstopable in TNA, but this sure as hell isn't TNA. So, Samoa Joe, are you ready? Tonight will be my chance to show everyone my true skills of just how good I am. Are you prepared to face "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles? We'll find out.

(Overall Rating: 66%)

Single's Match

Trent Acid vs. Jay Briscoe

Referee: Jack Doan

Jay Briscoe comes out alone without his brother at his side. Trent Acid delivers a dropkick on Briscoe and knocks him down, but Jay get's right back up. Acid hit's another and Briscoe get's right back up again. Acid goes for another one, but Briscoe moves, causing Acid to crash and burn. Briscoe grabs Acid with a half nelson and delivers the Yakuza type suplex, folding Acid in half. Briscoe get's the pin, but only is able to get a two count. While on the ground, Acid does a reversal into an Acid Lock, but here comes Mark Briscoe down to the ring! Acid let's go and goes to bad mouth Mark Briscoe. While doing this, Jay Briscoe begins to talking to the referee, allowing Mark Briscoe to deliver the Marking Out on Trent Acid. As the referee turns around to see what the thud was, Jay Briscoe dives on Acid for the pinfall and get's the win. After the match, Mark and Jay celebrate the huge win as they make their way back up the ramp.

(Overall Rating: 57%)

Winner: Jay Briscoe via. Pinfall

Commercial Break

When we come back from the commerical break, Tony Schiavone begins to talk about the main event which is up next. Matthews butts in that both men have been World Champions, however both were in different promotions. Before they can speak another word, Samoa Joe's entrance hits and out comes the "Samoan Submission Machine".

Main Event: Winner Earns Shot at World Title

AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe

Referee: Mike Chioda

Both men shake hands before starting off the match. Samoa Joe shoots down at AJ Styles legs and brings him up with a double leg take down. From there, Joe locks in an arm bar, but Styles moves around the armbar and hits an elbow drop onto Joe. Styles comes off the ropes with a slingshot body splash, lying out the big man. Styles tries to end the match quick and goes to the top for the Spiral Tap, and delivering the move to Joe. AJ goes for the pinfall, 1...2... NO... as Samoa Joe kicks out with authority. They both get back up to a stable base and Styles kicks Joe in the gut, he goes for the Styles Clash, but get's backbody dropped. Samoa Joe hits his running body splash on AJ. He then picks up AJ's body and drops him down to the mat with the Muscle Buster following it up with the Kokina Clutch. AJ tries to reach the ropes but is too tired and forced to tap out.

(Overall Rating: 79%)

Winner: Samoa Joe via. Submission

In the ring, Samoa Joe is standing above AJ Styles as he get's back to his feet. AJ extends his hand to Samoa Joe who accpets and shakes AJ's hand with Styles raising Samoa Joe's hand. Schiavone and Matthews begin chatting about how Joe is the first man in the Triple Threat match at Danger Zone while AJ and Samoa Joe shake hands one more time as UCW Showdown goes off the air.

Nice. Very good backstory, and I like how you have explained how this company has come togethor. And Bret Hart as the commissioner is awesome, because although he cant physically do things in the ring, he is so respected that his roster will listen to him.

Good first show. Jimmy Rave is awesome, and should get a big push. Especially with Bill Alfonso as his mouth piece.

Styles vs Joe as the main event was solid, but it kinda seemed like a match souly for the ratings because they are so good in the ring togethor. But then again, with your small company, they are probably your 2 biggest stars. And its a fact that Joe will only be good for your Title.

Im liking this, I will be reading. Good start, and Im hoping to see some unexpected stars get pushes. *cough Rodney Mack*

Preview-November 11, 2006

Last week, Samoa Joe faced AJ Styles in a classic back and forth match. With Samoa Joe picking up the huge win, he has moved on to the triple threat World Title match at UCW Danger Zone, but who will the "Samoan Submission Machine" face? This week, another man will earn his spot into the World Title match, but the fact remains as to who the two participant's will be in the match. Who will be the two people who could earn a shot at the World Title and will Samoa Joe have a role this week?

Plus, last week, Trent Acid faced Jay Briscoe in a contriversial match with Jay Briscoe winning. However, due to interferance from his brother Mark Briscoe, Jay was able to pick up a huge win over Trent Acid. This week, Trent Acid sent a challange to Mark Briscoe for a hardcore match. Mark Briscoe accepted, but the stipulation being that Jay Briscoe couldn't be at ringside. How will Mark fair in this hardcore enviroment without his brother and a deadly opponent ahead of him?

Also, Jimmy Rave has promised that he will debut his incredible skills in Universal Championship Wrestling, starting Saturday. With the cocky Rave bringing about an open challange, who will accept, and what role will Jimmy Rave's new manager in Bill Alfonso play? All this and much more, this Saturday night at 10:00pm on MTV!

"Rumor is flying wild around the backstage area as to who the four remaining participants will be in the UCW World Title qualifying match. From what we have heard, Bret Hart has signed what he calls a "monumental" wrestler to the UCW. Wheather or not he will debut this week, next week or even at the pay-per-view is untold. However, we have heard that Colt Cabana was seen walking out of Bret Hart's office last week. It is highly unlikely that he is the big name though.

"Earlier today, the Universal Championship Wrestling revealed the logo for their November Pay-Per-View specticle known as Danger Zone. The card as of right now is a bit sketchy, but it seems as though the UCW World Heavyweight Title match will go on last for the card. Below, you can view the Danger Zone logo"

"The reason for UCW not releasing their roster to the public is due to it still growing. With many suprises in store for the entire world and some of the currently employed workers. It is not known if and when the roster will be released, but UCW Owner Court Bauer has stated that it will be "pretty self explanantory as to who is on the roster" within the coming weeks. Expect to see some new and old faces on UCW Showdown for the coming weeks, and possibly months."

Date: Saturday, November 11, 2006

Announcers: Tony Schiavone and Josh Matthews

From: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (War Memorial Auditorium)

Right after the opening video ends, we cut to the back. Bret Hart is shown on the television screen with his patented black, leather jacket on along with a grey undershirt. The lone light in the room that is on is the one on Bret's desk. Bret begins to adress everyone after re-arranging some paper's on his desk.

Bret Hart: Good evening, I am Bret Hart. Tonight is the second ever edition of UCW Showdown and with that comes the second of three qualifying matches for a shot at the UCW World Title. However, tonights main event is going to be a little bit different to suit the two people I have chosen for the match.

Bret shuffle's through the paper's quick, almost as if he is looking for something. He takes a single piece of paper and places it on top of the rest.

Bret Hart: I have decided, that in tonights main event, it will be a Falls Count Anywhere match between "The Weapon of Mass Destruction" Abyss and "The Hardcore Maniac" Chris Hero. And Samoa Joe will have no involvment in the match, because if he does, his title shot will be taken away.

(Overall Rating: 69%)

With that, Bret Hart fades out of the picture and we come to see Tony Schiavone and Josh Matthews welcoming us to Showdown. They hype up how great the main event will be along with the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation. As they continue the hype, the competetor's for the next match come out.

Tag Team Match

Air Paris/Al Katrazz vs. Delirious/Jay Lethal

Referee: Brian Hebner

The first match of the night begins in high flying fashion. Delirious and Air Paris start off the match with a giant aerial show. Delirious hits a giant moonsault that catches the standing Paris, but only get's a two for the pinfall. Paris tags in out to Al Katrazz and Delirious brings in Jay Lethal. Lethal hit's a giant hip toss, but Al Katrazz catches Lethal with an elbow to the face and is able to hit a rope-dee-dope DDT that stuns Lethal long enough for Katrazz to tag in Paris. Paris goes for a Corkscrew Leg Drop, but misses with it. Lethal picks up the hurting Paris and goes for the Lethal Injection but Paris rolls up Lethal with a school boy and grabs the tights along with the ropes to cheat for the pinfall. After the match, Lethal and Delirious go to extract revenge on their opponents, but they rush the scene, happy with their win.

(Overall Rating: 58%)

Winners: Air Paris/Al Katrazz via. Pinfall

The screen goes black as a stylish shirt is shown on the screen. It doesn't move, but only two letters are visible on the back of the shirt and those are the letters od C.C. Then a voice comes over the screen ever so silent. The voice begins to speak as the shirt stay's still.

Voice: At UCW Danger Zone, one of the best wrestler's in the history of wrestling will debut. I am a man that can be considered a pioneer for the stylish shirts I wear. When I debut, I will show everyone just who I am.

The shirt on the screen goes to the front where we see that the shirt is un-buttoned and shows a white undershirt below it. The voice begins to speak again as the camera slowly begins to raise up the body.

Voice: My finishing meanuver is one that can only be attributed to a famous horror story. One that shows my true self, the inner anger that builds up inside of me to make me just who I am, and that is why I am making a challange. To the loser of tonights main event, I want you in a Hardcore match come Danger Zone. You don't know who I am, but rest assured, I am a man not to be messed with.

The camera stops before it can reach the face of the person who is talking. The screen shows that the challange has been made and their is only fourteen days left until Ultimate Championship Wrestling is turned upside down by the biggest arrival to date.

(Overall Rating: 66%)

Commercial Break

Single's Match

Jimmy Rave w/ Bill Alfonso vs. Julio Dinero

Referee: Scott Armstrong

Jimmy Rave and Bill Alfonso come out first, followed by Julio Dinero. Rave starts the match with a flying hurricanrana. Following that up with a swinging neckbreaker, but Dinero reverses the move into Dinero's signature Krussian Leg Sweep. Dinero backs up and get's ready for the Super Kick, knowing that he had to end the match quick, but Bill Alfonso grabs Dinero's leg. Dinero finally get's his leg free, but Rave is finally up when Dinero goes for the Super Kick. Rave ducks under the kick and fly's off the ropes only to lock in his infamous finisher called From Dusk Til' Dawn. Dinero tries to wiggle free, but falls to the ground and passes out. Rave get's up as Bill Alfonso comes into the ring and celebrates with Rave for his impressive debut win.

(Overall Rating: 47%)

Winner: Jimmy Rave via. Submission

In the back, Trent Acid is seen walking from the back towards the ring. Acid issued the open challange to Mark Briscoe for his involvment in the match against his brother from last week. The only catch was that Acid wanted to make the match a Hardcore match, which suit's Acid's style better.

Hardcore Match

Trent Acid vs. Mark Briscoe

Referee: Mike Chioda

Acid brings down a trash can with plenty of supplies in it while Mark brings down a ladder. The match starts with a brutal cane shot from Acid that sends Mark down to the ground. Acid throws the trash can to the outside, only leaving a stop sign and the cane in the ring. Trent goes for his Yakuza kick, but Mark catches his foot and drops him to the ground with a stiff clothesline. Briscoe set's up the ladder and climbs midway up it where he goes for a leg drop that misses. Both men are laid out in the ring when Jay Briscoe comes running down. He grabs a chair that was in the trash can and swings at Acid, but Trent ducks, causing Jay to hit Mark Briscoe with the chair. Jay turns towards Acid but get's caught with the Yakuza Kick to the face. Acid goes for the pin and get's the three count. After the match though, The Briscoe's begin a double team attack on Acid. Jay set's up Acid on the table while Mark Briscoe climbs to the top until... Johnny Kashmere comes out from the back and deliver's a stop sign shot to the head of Jay Briscoe. Acid roll's off the table and Kashmere climbs to the top of the ladder where the stuck Mark Briscoe get's a Cradle Breaker from the top, through a table. The Backseat Boyz stand tall amongst the Briscoe's as we go to the back.

(Overall Rating: 62%)

Winner: Trent Acid via. Pinfall

In the back, Todd Grisham is standing by with Samoa Joe. Joe is decked out in a pair of blue jeans and his Samoa Joe shirt. They are standing in front of the UCW Showdown logo. Joe has an intense look in his eyes even before Grisham can begin the interview. You can see the intimidation in Grisham's eyes.

Todd Grisham: Samoa Joe, tonight, Abyss will face Chris Hero for a spot in the UCW World Title match. You have already earned a spot in the match, but have a vast history with Chris Hero from the Ring of Honor vs. CZW feud. Who would you prefer to win this match.

Samoa Joe: Listen Todd, I don't give two shits on god's green earth who I face. I am the Samoan Submission Machine for a reason and that's because I have choked out the best that wrestling has to offer. You think some hardcore bitch or a giant man who has to wear a mask scare's me? Hell no!

Todd Grisham: Will you be scouting the match tonight so that you have a better feel for your opponent at Danger Zone?

Samoa Joe: Any great wrestler will scout your opponent and that's just what I intend on doing. Like I said, neither of these men scare me, because they have weaknesses. I, however, am flawless and have no weakness because I am that damn good.

Samoa Joe leaves the screen as Grisham sends us to break before the main event. Before we can leave, Grisham says that when we come back, Bret Hart will have some announcments to make concerning UCW Danger Zone.

(Overall Rating: 66%)

Commerical Break

When we come back, we go straight to the back and Bret Hart. He is still in the same chair and clothes as when he made the announcment at the beginning. Hart asks if he is on before speaking about what he wanted to make.

Bret Hart: After seeing what has gone down tonight, I have decided to make a few more matches for Danger Zone. In the first match, for the UCW Tag Team titles, it will be the reunited Backseat Boyz facing The Briscoe Brothers... In a ladder match with the titles hung high above the ring.

Bret Hart waits for a second as he let's the match sink in for everyone. The Backseat Boyz were former tag champions in CZW which could be considered the modern day ECW. The Briscoe Brothers were tag champions in Ring of Honor, but have a certain flare to their attack.

Bret Hart: The second match is one that I had to make as the match-up was just sitting there. So, at Danger Zone, the vacant UCW North American title will be on the line. It will be "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for his incredible and heroic performance in last week's match to Samoa Joe facing Jimmy Rave for his impressive debut by crushing a great wrestler in Julio Dinero.

Bret Hart sends us to the main event as we get a rundown of the current card for Danger Zone. So far, Jimmy Rave will face AJ Styles for the UCW North American Title. The Backseat Boyz will take on the Briscoe Brothers in a ladder match for the UCW Tag Team Titles. Then, in the main event, Samoa Joe will face either Chris Hero or Abyss and a mystery person for the UCW World Title.

(Overall Rating: 70%)

Main Event: Winner Earns Shot at World Title/Falls Count Anywhere

Abyss w/Jim Mitchell vs. Chris Hero

Referee: Jack Doan

This match turns into a brawl within a matter of seconds. Chris Hero takes everything he has at Abyss, but the monster proves to be just too strong for the hardcore Hero. Abyss tries a chokeslam on the entrance ramp, but Hero delivers a low blow to Abyss, followed by a steel pipe to the head. Chris Hero goes for the pinfall, but only get's a two count. James Mitchell slides a chair to Abyss who cracks it over the head of Hero. However, Abyss doesn't go for a pin but rather lift's up Hero's body. Abyss grabs his arm, pushes him back, then whips him forward to deliver a Black Hole Slam onto the entrance ramp. Abyss drops the pinfall on the lifeless Chris Hero as Abyss moves on to the main event for the UCW World Title. Samoa Joe comes out and looks down at Abyss who stares right back at Samoa Joe as the show comes to a close.

(Overall Rating: 59%)

Winner: Abyss via. Pinfall

-The ratings for UCW Showdown are in and are looking quite good compared to where they wanted to be. According to Court Bauer, he wanted his rating's to be in the mid 1.50's. After seeing UCW score what they have in the past two weeks, this looks like a good thing for the UCW.

Ratings Battle

UCW Showdown- 1.81 (MTV)

IWC Ignition- 0.29 (Local Network)

WLW Television- 0.14 (PAX TV)

HWA Main Event TV- 0.70 (Regional Network)

-Adding to that, this week's UCW Showdown will be the last one before their first ever Pay-Per-View UCW Danger Zone. With UCW only being able to score a spot for their PPV on a Saturday, this made Bauer a little upset as he lost a show that would have been valuable to the company, however he is still happy they have the Pay-Per-View.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone and Josh Matthews

From: Monaca, Pennsylvania (Golden Dome)

From the back comes Bret Hart out to the ring as Josh Matthews and Tony Schiavone welcome us to the last edition of Showdown before UCW Danger Zone. Bret enters the ring with a giant smile on his face. Everyone in the arena await's to hear just who Bret has picked for the main event #1 contenders match.

Bret Hart: Tonight may be the biggest main event in the UCW's history. Sure it has only spanned three shows, but this will no doubt be bigger than Samoa Joe facing AJ Styles or Chris Hero and Abyss from last week. Right now, in the back, I have one of the biggest names in wrestling today, and he has signed a contract with Universal Championship Wrestling.

The crowd cheers, but is still unaware of who the person is. Bret lollie's around the ring a little bit while the crowd in the Golden Dome is still rocking from the mega signing that Hart has made.

Bret Hart: However, a name this big won't need any introduction, but he will have a giant obsticle in his way as I am placing him in the main event for a shot at the UCW World Heavyweight Title. So, tonight, it is going to be Bobby Roode facing off against the biggest signing in UCW history for a shot at the UCW World Championship. Bobby Roode is top notch material, and with a win over someone this big, he deserves a shot at the UCW World Title.

With that, Bret drops the microphone in the middle of the ring and leaves as the crowd continues to cheer in anticipation. Josh Matthews and Tony ponder over who this giant signing could be, but one has to wonder just what chance Bobby Roode will have when facing this mystery man.

Kid Romeo vs. Derek Frazier

Referee: Mike Chioda

Kid Romeo and Derek Frazier take this match into a cruserweight level as the opening bell rings. Derek Frazier scores with a hurricanrana, but Romeo rolls it through for a pinfall, but only manages to get a two count for it. Romeo climbs to the top, but his legs get caught in the ropes as Derek Frazier pushes them. Mike Chioda begins to talk to Frazier about the cheap move when Jason Cross comes from the crowd with a chair. He delivers a crushing blow to the head of Romeo as Frazier continues to talk tot he referee. With Romeo now laying flat on the ground, Frazier hoists him into the air and drops him with the Impact Driver to pick up the win. After the match, Romeo get's up with blood trickeling down his face. He challanges Cross to a match at Danger Zone in which Cross, who is at the top of the ramp with Frazier, accepts.

Commercial Break

In the ring, two ladders are set up next to each other. At the top of each ladder is the Backseat Boyz who are holding microphones. With their match against The Briscoe Brothers only being seven days away, and for the UCW Tag Team Titles, everyone wants to hear what the Boyz have to say about their opponents and their match type for Danger Zone.

Trent Acid: The Briscoe Brothers had the audacity to screw around with me. They thought that they could push me around with me doing nothing about it, but I called in reinforcments and the band is back together.

Johnny Kashmere: Well, when I saw these two punks trying to punk out Trent, I knew I had to do something about it. So, I came back and reformed one of the most dominating tag teams in CZW and soon to be UCW history.

The crowd pops for Kashmere attempting to put themselves over as being the top tag team in Universal Championship Wrestling. Acid and Kashmere give each other high fives at the top of the ladder.

Trent Acid: And it looks like Bret Hart noticed that we wanted the Briscoe's, but he added a little extra something to the match. He decided to not only put in our favorite type of match, but he decided to put the Tag Titles on the line. That is why, come next Saturday, we will walk out of Asbury Park with the Tag Team titles around our belts.

Johnny Kashmere: The Backseat Boyz are back in town, and the Briscoe's better watch their asses, because they are the first team on our hit list.

(Overall Rating: 64%)

As they mention this, we cut to the back quickly where a body is on the ground. Josh Matthews and Tony Schiavone tell us that they have just gotten word on the attack that took place in the back. As we get closer to the body, we can see a pool of blood that lie's near the body's head.

We soon realize that the body is that of Chris Hero. By his head is the letter's C.C., written in blood. Also visible is a note that is on the chest of Chris Hero and is written in black pencil. The camera get's close enough to read the note.

Dear Chris Hero,

It appears as if you are going to be the unlucky victim who will face me at Danger Zone. I hope you watched my video last week, because that is just a small taste of what you will get to see. My finishing meanuver has been defined by blood, as it all ties together. So, are you ready for the hell at Danger Zone Chris? Do you even know who I am? Here's a hint for you. My finisher has a movie named after it, that's all I can tell. You will see this house, as being hell!

Sincerely,

C. C.

Triple Threat Match

Air Paris vs. Chris Stevens vs. Jerelle Clarke

Referee: Brian Hebner

Chris Stevens comes out and tries to give it his all, but is quickly taken out by the wily veteran in Air Paris. Jerelle Clarke delivers a dropkick to the standing Paris which knocks him all the way to the outside of the ring. At that point, Al Katrazz and Julio Dinero come down. They tell Paris not to worry about this match and that they have a bigger match at the pay-per-view. As he leaves to the back, Jerelle Clarke delivers his signature 630 degree splash onto the lifeless Chris Stevens which picks up the win for Jerelle Clarke.

Winner: Jerelle Clarke via. Pinfall

Commercial Break

When we come back, three chairs are in the ring. Jay Fury is sitting in the middle chair with a sign behind him that reads "2 Fast, 2 Furious with Jay Fury". He announces to the crowd that tonight is the debut of his talk show and that he has the two participants for the UCW North American Title match next Saturday at UCW Danger Zone. Then, Jimmy Rave, along with Bill Alfonso and AJ Styles come out from the back.

Jay Fury: Guys, this Saturday will be an incredible opportunity for both of you guys. Jimmy, you are on a winning strek where as AJ is on a losing streak. How do you think this match will go for you Jimmy?

Jimmy Rave: Well, with Bill Alfonso in my corner, I feel that I am unstopable. When I heard that I was facing AJ, I was incredibly happy, because he would be the perfect name for me to add to my "undefeated" streak.

AJ Styles: Why don't you just shut up! I am a three time Triple Crown winner in TNA and what do you have to compete with that?

Jimmy Rave: I hate to break it to you Alice, but this isn't TNA. I am Jimmy "God Damn" Rave and if you think for a second that I am going to take your lip, you are sadly mistaken!

From behind, Bill Alfonso delivers a low blow to the standing AJ Styles. AJ doubles over which allows Jimmy Rave to deliver the Greeting's from Ghana onto Styles. With Bill Alfonso blowing his whistle over AJ's body and Jimmy Rave standing on his chair in excitment, he grabs the microphone.

Jay Fury: Well, it appear's as if that is all for this weeks edition of "2 Fast, 2 Furious". Be sure to tune into UCW Danger Zone to see who's ass get's kicked when these two animals face off.

(Overall Rating: 50%)

With the security taking out the stuff from the set, Josh Matthews and Tony Schiavone make a run down of the card for UCW Danger Zone. With matches like Jimmy Rave taking on AJ Styles, The Backseat Boyz facing the Briscoe Brothers, and the UCW World Title, this is going to be one pay-per-view not to miss. The only remaining question is who will join Samoa Joe and Abyss for a shot at the UCW World Title. Could it be Bobby Roode?

Main Event: Winner Earns Shot at World Title

Bobby Roode vs. ???

Referee: Scott Armstrong

Everyone in the arena waits around after Bobby Roode comes out to see who his opponent will be. Just then, the familiar music hit's that has only been heard in the WWE, but is known nation wide. The mystery man is... BROCK LESNAR! Lesnar comes down to the ring and jumps right in. Bobby Roode get's in Lesnar's face and tells him tonight is his night. Lesnar delivers a knee to his gut and drops him with a belly to belly suplex. Delivering savage strikes, Lesnar get's up and plays to the crowd who goes bananna's. However, Lesnar has his back turned to Bobby Roode and get's caught with a Norther Lariat for a 1...2...NO... Lesnar kicks out and stares into the eyes of Bobby Roode. He delivers a shot to his midsection and drops Roode with the Verdict (F-5). Lesnar goes down and pins the lifeless body of Bobby Roode.

Lesnar picks up Roode by the hair and drops him with another Verdict, only to hit another one. UCW News and Notes

+Pre UCW Danger Zone+

-According to UCWrestling.com, the next UCW Pay-Per-View entitled "Paradise City" will indeed be on Sunday, December 31, 2006. Their has been a ton of criticism for having the show on New Year's Eve. However, the location of the show has yet to be determined, but is expected be announced sometime within the next couple of days.

-The reason Bret Hart had signed Brock Lesnar was because of his perfect style. Bret was said to be impressed with Lesnar's work while in the WWE, but by signing him to a written contract, Brock Lesnar won't be going anywhere in the UCW for a while.

-While Brock Lesnar is in the main event for Danger Zone, that wasn't the original plan for the main event. Reports indicate that the scheduled main event was Abyss facing Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode for the UCW World Heavyweight Championship. This was obviously changed due to the signing of Brock Lesnar.

-Writers are frantically working around the clock, trying to figure out a scenario for the three title matches at Danger Zone. As of this moment, it appears as though Brock Lesnar may walk away with the title due to all the hype that is surrounding him. The word isn't final, but that may be the outcome. The writers are also befuddled on how to handle the Tag Team Ladder match. With both teams looking strong in the past weeks, nobody knows how the match should end. The North American Title match may not be decided as plans are for the match between Jimmy Rave and AJ Styles to end in a Double DQ of sorts.

-Their have been many rumors floating around as to who the mysterious C.C. is who will face Chris Hero at Danger Zone. From what we have learned, Colt Cabana has signed a written contract with the UCW, so expect for the mystery man to be Colt Cabana.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone/Josh Matthews

From: Asbury Park, New Jersey (Asbury Park Convention Center)

As the show opens, a video begins to play. With the tunes of Remedy from Seether playing in the background, the very first image pops onto the screen as the Pay-Per-View is about ready to get under way.

Throw your dollar bills and leave your thrills all here with me

In sucession, Samoa Joe, Abyss and Brock Lesnar are all seen gaining their respective victories over their opponents.

And speak but don't pretend I won't defend you anymore you see

The Briscoe Brothers are all beating down on Trent Acid until the arrival of Johnny Kashmere. In the next shot, we see Kashmere delivering a Backseat Driver onto Mark Briscoe from the top of the ladder through a table.

It aches in every bone, I'll die alone, but not for you

Jimmy Rave is seen picking up the victory over Julio Dinero with the “From Dusk Til’ Dawn”. Him and AJ Styles are now face to face in the ring with one goal in mind. The UCW North American Title.

My eyes don't need to see that ugly thing, I know it's me you fear

Chris Hero lie’s bloodied and unconscious on the cement from a brutal attack. With the letter’s C.C. next to his head, written in Hero’s own blood.

If you want me hold me back

Frail, the skin is dry and pale, the pain will never fail

A shot of complete chaos is shown with men battling all over the place.

And so we go back to the remedy

The Backseat Boyz are seen high a tops the ladder’s that sit in the ring as they begin to give each other a high five.

Clip the wings that get you high, just leave them where they lie

And tell yourself, "You'll be the death of me"

A three screen shot is shown with Brock Lesnar, Abyss and Samoa Joe looking intently keen on taking each other out until the screen takes us into the arena.

Inside the arena, the music continues to play as some small pyro goes off around the arena. With the pyro stopping, Bret Hart’s music hits and the legend comes out from the back and down into the ring. The crowd in Asbury Park goes nuts as “The Best there is, the best their was, and the best their ever will be” makes his way down to the ring. Now in the ring, Bret grabs a microphone and begins to talk.

Bret Hart: First off, I would like to thank all of our loyal fans who have decided to join us, either by Pay-Per-View, or live here in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

The crowd pops large as Bret mentions their town. “The Hitman” rubs his nose a little before speaking again. As he goes to speak, the crowd begins to chant “UCW, UCW, UCW!”

Bret Hart: Tonight is a night where championships will be decided, and legends will be born. Tonight is going to usher in the very first era for Universal Championship Wrestling. Tonight, will be your eternal danger zone. However, I do have some major news to pass along to you.

The crowd hushes in silence as Bret goes on with what he was speaking about before.

Bret Hart: In tonight's main event betweem Abyss, Samoa Joe, and Brock Lesnar, I have decided to make a change. Tonight's main event will now be a No Disqualification match to ensure that we have a victor. But if one man interfere's in this match, then they will be fired on the spot.

Bret drops the microphone and leaves the ring, making his point clear. Matthews and Schiavone go nuts when hearing that the main event will now be a No Disqualification match. Matthews mentions Abyss's hardcore background, and asks Schiavone if it will have an effect on the match. Schiavone says that he still thinks that Brock Lesnar will leave as the World Champion.

Single's Match

Kid Romeo vs. Jason Cross

Referee: Scott Armstrong

With Kid Romeo wanting to extract revenge on Jason Cross, Romeo goes a little to wild in the beginning for Cross. While Romeo goes for a Halo, Cross delivers a dropkick to the back of his head, but only able to get a two count. Cross then goes for his signature DDT, but it's reversed by Kid Romeo who hit's the Heart Breaker, but only able to snatch up a two count. Jason Cross get's up and hit's his Brainbuster, but again only for a two count. Cross goes to the outside and throws in a chair. As he does this, he slides a ring bell over to the corner closest to Romeo. As the referee drops the chair to the outside, Cross delivers a crusing blow to Romeo's head with the ring bell. After disposing of the evidence, Cross goes for the pin and is able to pick up the three count. When the referee calls for the bell, Kevin Marx is unable to as the bell is on the ground. Jason Cross goes over and picks up the bell for Marx to ring as referee Scott Armstong declairs Jason Cross the winner.

Winner: Jason Cross via. Pinfall

In the basement downstairs, James Mitchell is seen talking to the monster Abyss about the No DQ stipulation added onto tonights main event. Mitchell tells Abyss that he has the freedom to do whatever he would like, as long as it will help him capture the UCW World Championship. While Mitchell gives a twisted and sick laugh, he hands Abyss a giant bag that is synonymous with Abyss as it is filled with thumbtacks.

Triple Debut Match

Slyk Wagner Brown vs. Mana vs. Nick Gage

Referee: Mike Chioda

The match is a hard hitting affair straight from the start. Nick Gage pulls out moves as if he was a Japanese kamikazi. Gage delivers a Frog Splash onto Slyk Wagner, but Mana comes in a breaks up the count. Mana then picks up Gage and delivers him with what appears to be a Samoan Cutter. As Chioda goes down to count the cover, S.W.B. comes in with a leg drop on the back of Mana, who now appears to be deranged. Mana turns around but is met with the Holy Slyk, right on top of the knocked out Nick Gage. Slyk covers Mana and get's the pin to win the debut match. After the match, Mana looks around and begins going nuts as we take a cut to the back.

(Overall Rating: 55%)

Winner: Slyk Wagner Brown via. Pinfall

In the back, Samoa Joe enters Bret Hart's office. Joe is in all of his wrestling gear as he appears to be ready for the main event. Bret welcomes Joe into his office after he enters into the room.

Samoa Joe: Why in the hell did you make the main event a No Disqualification match? I didn't come prepared to compete in a hardcore enviroment tonight!

Bret Hart: And you are saying that Brock or even Abyss came prepared for this type of match tonight? No, of course they didn't. You said last week that you didn't care who you faced for the title because you were the best. Well, tonight is your chance to prove it.

Samoa Joe: I am the god damn best their is and you can't deny it Bret. I can choke out anyone, at any time, any place, and anywhere.

Bret stands up before saying another word. He looks into Samoa Joe's shifty eyes as he goes to speak again. Joe, being ever so quiet as he waits to hear what Bret has to say.

Bret Hart: You call yourself the best? What do you have to prove that statement? I can tell you that I am a multiple time WWE and WCW World Champion. That is something you don't have. I have made THE BEST tap out, that is something you can't say...

Samoa Joe: Maybe I can't say any of those things, but after tonight, I sure as hell can when Brock Lesnar is passed out in the middle of the ring from me. I will show you just who the hell I am, and that is "The Samoan Submission Machine".

Samoa Joe walks out of the office as Bret watches him leave. Hart continues standing even after Samoa Joe has left the room. He fixes his leather jacket's collar before speaking.

Bret Hart: He thinks he is the best, but one of these days, someone will prove him wrong. And that may just end up being the best their is... Me...

6 Man Tag Team Match

Kenny King/Jay Lethal/Delirious vs. Julio Dinero/Air Paris/Al Katrazz

Referee: Brian Hebner

The six man tag team match was more of a technical wrestling battle than high flying. With Jay Lethal and Julio Dinero taking each other to the limits until they tagged in to their partners. Kenny King comes in and cleans house before hitting a giant moonsault that takes out Al Katrazz. Air Paris comes in from behind and delivers a reverse hurricanrana on Kenny King. Delirious comes in for the save, but is dropped over the top rope by Julio Dinero. Seeinghis chance, Air Paris climbs to the top and hit's a Five Star Moonsault on Kenny King which gives his team the win in this grudge match.

(Overall Rating: 56%)

Winner: Air Paris/Al Katrazz/Julio Dinero via. Pinfall

From the back comes Chris Cage, a new signee to the UCW roster. Cage enters the ring with a microphone in hand. He get's on the microphone, but not before taking a drink of a bottled water he brought down with him.

Chris Cage: I have been sitting in the back for the last hour or so and all I have heard is people calling me the "mysterious" attacker on Chris Hero. I just wanted to come out here and tell everyone that I am NOT the attacker. All you people who think that they know just what they ar...

Cage is cut short when Mana comes out from the back, obviously still angry about the fact that he lost his debut match. He delivers a Samoan Drop to Cage, and picks him up for a top rope Samoan Cutter until he is cut off by an attacking Colt Cabana. He runs in and hits Mana in the back with a chair, three times, causing him to fall to the outside and bring Cage into safety.

Colt Cabana: I know exactly what you are talking about Chris. I have been under the same microscope as you have and it's annoying. We, are not the man who likes to attack people from behind. So, when all of the wrestler's realize that it wasn't us, we will be waiting to hear what you have to say.

Cabana drops the microphone and leaves with Chris Cage. Both men annoyed by the fact that everyone was assuming they were the mysterious attacker who didn't have enough balls to show his face. However, up next is the match that will reveal who the stalker is.

Hardcore Challange Match

??? vs. Chris Hero

Referee: Scott Armstrong

While Chris Hero is waiting in the ring for his attacker, everyone is quiet as the music hits. Through the curtain comes the one and only... Chris Chetti, carrying a trash can full of goodies. He get's in the ring and the two men begin to brawl. Hero hits Chetti across the top of the head with a lead pipe, but Chetti get's his foot on the bottom rope. As Hero goes for a clothesline, he get's hit with a trash can lid that knocks him out. Chetti crawls to the outside and pulls a table out from underneath the ring. While setting it up, he grabs Hero by the hair and takes him to the top rope. Chetti then drops Hero through the table with the Ammityville Horror that get's Chettin the win. After the match, Hero strikes back by delivering a crushing blow to the back of Chetti's head. Hero leaves Chetti in a pool of his own blood, before Chetti get's up and looks down the entrance ramp at a happy Chris Hero.

(Overall Rating: 67%)

Winner: Chris Chetti via. Pinfall

In the back, Jimmy Rave and Bill Alfonso are standing by with Todd Grisham before the first of three title matches. Grisham is decked out in a suit while Jimmy Rave looks at Grisham as if he is nuts for wearing such an outlandish thing.

Todd Grisham: Jimmy Rave, coming up next, you will be facing AJ Styles for the UCW North American Title. Knowing AJ's long history, are you afraid that you may come out the loser in this match?

Jimmy Rave: Am I afraid? What the hell kind of a question is that? I was told by Bill here that you were going to conduct a normal interview, filled with smart questions, not some lame ass interview.

Todd Grisham: What have you done to prepare yourself for this match

Jimmy Rave: I have done more training in the last week than most people do in a lifetime. I have worked so hard to get where I am, and for me to lose to AJ Styles would be a disgrace if there ever was one.

Bill Alfonso: Yeah, and that is why we intend on taking the North American Title home with us. AJ Styles is nothing more than a fat man playing on a battlefield. You just shouldn't be doing it!

UCW North American Title

AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Rave w/ Bill Alfonso

Referee: Mike Chioda

AJ starts off the match quick by delivering a superman elbow to the head of Jimmy Rave as he was entering the ring. AJ jumps off the ropes and delivers his flipping reverse DDT, but only for a two count. AJ goes to the top, but the Fonzie makes his presence known by knocking Styles off. Rave takes control of the match and hits a piledirver, following that up with punishing shot after shot to the head of AJ. Styles fights out and hits a Pelé on Jimmy Rave. AJ again goes to the top rope and shoots off with the Spiral Tap, but connects with the mat. Jimmy Rave takes his time to get up, only to deliver a kick to AJ's gut and drops him down hard with the Greeting's from Ghana. Referee Mike Chioda get's in good position and counts the three as Jimmy Rave is the first new champion crowned at Danger Zone. After the match, Rave and Alfonso celebrate their title win as AJ is bleeding from the mouth.

(Overall Rating: 76%)

Winner: Jimmy Rave via. Pinfall

A video begins to play that hypes up UCW's next Pay-Per-View, entitled Paradise City. The video shows that the show will be taking place from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on New Year's Eve. As the video package comes to an end, we see the Backseat Boyz walking to the ring as are the Briscoe Brothers for their UCW Tag Team title ladder match. Both teams look ready as they enter the ring.

UCW Tag Team Titles-Ladder Match

Backseat Boyz vs. The Briscoe Brothers

Referee: Brian Hebner

This match shows the violent side of UCW. With all out warfare raging between the two teams, it was no suprise how they got to where they are now. Kashmere hit's a clothesline on the Brothers with the ladder, but the tag team seems unstoppable as they continue their assault on their opponents. Trent Acid goes to the outside and brings in a table. Looking for the victory, Trent and Johnny both pick up their foe's and deliver a double Backseat Driver at the same time to knock them both out. With tthe Backseat Boyz climbing the ladder to win the titles, Johnny Kashmere rocks Trent Acid with a punch, and follows up by hitting his own partner with a Backseat Driver off of the ladder and through the table. Kashmere allows Jay and Mark Briscoe to climb up the ladder and retrieve the tag team titles as Kashmere stands over a motionless Trent Acid. The medical staff come out and help Acid onto a stretcher as Kashmere watches while laughing.

Winner: The Briscoe Brothers

The crowd stands on their feet as it is finally time for the main event of the evening. A triple screen is shown where all three men are making their way to the ring for this giant battle. Samoa Joe begins rubbing his hands while Abyss looks at his bag of tacks and Brock Lesnar begins jumping in place, all three men anticipating the beginning of this monumental match.

UCW World Title-No Disqualification

Abyss w/ James Mitchell vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe

Referee: Mike Chioda

This match is hell before the bell even rings. All three men take it to each other like their is no tomorrow. Abyss drops Lesnar with a chokeslam, but only for a two count as Samoa Joe breaks up the count. Joe drops Abyss with a quick kick to his head, but Joe get's caught on Lesnar's shoulders and dropped with the Verdict. Brock is unable to go for the pin as Abyss stops him with a big boot to his face. Is there anybody who is reading this diary, because if you don't like it, then I either need to know, or drop the diary all together. As I have said, I want to do a diary that people like and if you don't like it, then I need to know. I don't want all my writing to go for nothing...

You're talented writer but I don't like the subject (if someone writes about a new promotion, they always hire the same people). If you like writing this diary, carry on, but if you feel that you NEED more readers, start new diary about something that everyboby is interessed and thats unique.

Fair enough, and with this, UCW will close down it's doors after surviving for only one month exactly. With lead writer Bret Hart thrown to the wind, he leaves the backstage area, along with Court Bauer who indeed looks mighty pissed at his baby dying after only one month.

EDIT-Court Bauer has just told us that the company is not closing down. The reason for Bauer being pissed was that Bret Hart, lead writer, proposed an idea that would send all of the UCW into an uproar. Bauer went against the plan, thus making Hart very angry, as well as Bauer. Expect to see UCW Showdown in it's normal timeslot within the hour.
