If you're in London, go to the Astoria, go to the box office, say the word 'Metal' to the woman behind the counter, and give her two quid for processing, and she'll give you two (of only 200) free tickets to the Metal Hammer / XFM battle of the bands on March 6th, featuring Turisas, Breed 77 and some other people.

I know this to be true, and it works, because I made my sister go and get mine, and she has the tickets in her possession.

Well, now that I've given you that information, I figure you owe me something.

I need a third ticket. So how about someone goes up with a friend, get two tickets each, and sells me one for a reasonable price.

Apologies for resurrecting this but having been unable to get tickets from the box office. I've now managed to gain some from Turisas directly so I'll be there, sorry not able to get you the spare though!

Turisas cancelled their gig at the Scala and asked anyone who'd planned to go to that to contact them so we did and they sent us the tickets over night.

I liked Deathstars but yes it was damn fine night out for bugger all, only thing that wound me up was Zico bd mouthing Turisas between songs since they look a bit different but musiclly they were good. Now for the Big Brother exploitation stage

I think The Zico Chain were just playing along with the theme of the night, if you watch the trailer they're all talking about how shit's gonna kick off in the ring, Breed 77 said that they were gonna be packing machetes and stuff. Or maybe they're just twats as well.

Woah... the Deathstars are prime. I love the intermingling of so many different genres of music, and Whiplasher's voice is sex for my ears.

Did you not like the performance, or the music in general, or did they just act like cunts?
