Is that just some bullshit made up, or are we really expected to shell out a couple hundred more to upgrade our two-year old system, only to be expected to drop another $400 for the VR set? It seems a bit murky, but I do imagine you'd get a smoother experience (and most games will be developed) for the faster processor and graphical capabilities of the PS4k. I still can't justify it because of the inane headgear. Semi-related: God of War 4 looks like it's becoming more of a thing. The PS4 and Vita are essentially "linked", meaning that you can just stream PS4 games without the need for a Wifi connection, as long as you're within a reasonably short distance from the console.
