Books With Storylines Like Manhunt/28 Days Later

Ok I am looking for books with similar storylines to that of Manhunt(basically survival books like The Running Man) and 28 Days Later/Any Zombie Movie(Zombies Come To Life etc.)

So if anyone knows of books like these that they know of please reply here and tell me.

There are novel versions of the Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead by John Russo. Also try "Wet Work" by Phillip Nutman.

I haven't read it but Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend" has a plot like this. It's been made into a movie twice already. First was "Last Man On Earth" with Vincent Price. Next was "Omega Man" with Charlton Heston. Both of these movies are VERY dated but the basic story is great. There was talk of a new version being made with Will Smith starring but it seems to have faded. I read the script and it was VERY good.

Yeah, I was just about to recommend 'I Am Legend'. I've read it, and it's an excellent book.
