I hope it isn't Mischa. She was great in Lost and Delirious, and she's done her best with a poorly written character on The O.C., but this is certainly a character beyond her. I'd like to see Evangeline Lilly get a shot, although she does star on a show running directly against Smallville.

I think that Singer should have stayed on with X-Men 3 until it was finished in 2006, then tried for Superman...but if they go with a Superman movie, and Tom Welling isn't apart of the cast, they should go ahead with Superman: The Beginning, a lot like Batman...but set this movie around Clark as a baby, before he showed up on earth. I don't remember how his home was destroied, but I think it had something to do with Brianiac...unsure, sorry if I'm wrong, anyway...Smallville should continue as long as it can, and if someone wants to make a Superman movie post-Smallville, then it should be done with Tom Welling, we all know that Christopher Reeve thought Wellings could fill his shoes, and I think that's what he'd want. So in memory of Reeve, give the role to Wellings no matter what Warner Brothers...you pigs...!

I've heard on various Angel sites that Amy Acker tried out for Lois Lane, and was said to have great chemistry with the unknown actor playing Superman.

Also, Charisma Carpenter apprently tried out for the part as well.
