Shit, GM, thanks...I forgot about Rick Allen totally. Nobody can ever discount the fact that a DRUMMER can lose an arm and actually still play at a high level in a chart-topping rock band. Good call.

The Ramones...Tommy Ramone, Richie Ramone, Marky Ramone...all very good punk drummers with a noticible style.

They had 3 drummers? :o

Who has their first one? The one who played the drums in "I wanna sniff some glue", "Blitzkrieg Bop? and the one one who played "Rock N' Roll Radio" "I wanna be sedated"?

I don't like to bring up a three-day-old topic, but CNN.com has posted an article on Charlie Watts' battle with throat cancer, which can be found here. It's great that he'll make a full recovery, but you still kinda feel bad for him. He's been the proverbial good guy in rock's naughtiest group, but gets shafted with things like this.

I hate you all...you all neglected the greatest Drummer of the Hair Metal era... Tommy fucking Lee.

Eh, his reputation got tarnished a bit thanks to Method of Mayhem and his less-than-jovial departure from Motely Crue. Not to mention that his work with one drumstick outshined his work with two, if you catch my drift.

Joey Jordison is a fucking monster, but doesn't always get enough credit as so many people seem to downplay any musical ability in Slipknot.

I've always liked Stuart Copeland from The Police, very solid, never ehard him miss a beat. Apparently he's filling in as the Doors drummer, as their original guy didn't want to reform.

Funny story about that. After their "reunion" tour featuring Ian Astbury concluded, Copeland sued the two surviving members for not being paid his royalties.

The band originally started with Joey Ramone as the drummer, however after playing shows he switched with Tommy Ramone. Tommy Ramone left the band in 1977 (so anything recorded before then is him playing). but he did help produce many albums afterward. Tommy Ramone was replaced by Marc Bell (of Richard Hell and the Voidoids). Marky Ramone left the band in 1983, after "Subterranean Jungle" was released, and replaced by Richie Ramone. Richie Ramone then left the band in 1987, and was replaced by the returning Mark Ramone.

Tommy Ramone - 1974-1977

Marky Ramone - 1977-1983, 1987-

Richie Ramone - 1983-1987.

That should help you figure out who exactly played the drums in each song you requested.

A lot of the guys already mentioned; Watts, Moon, Bonham etc. plus most of the drummers that Iron Maiden's had (Nicko McBrain, Clive Burr, etc..)

Igor Cavalera, too.
