About 10 minutes in, it turned into brain cell-killing levels of stupid, though. Just a bunch of drunk Irish guys hurling insults at Aldo and Aldo or his translator barely understanding 10% of what they were saying (and it wasn't just because he doesn't understand English).

I couldn't get into UFC last time I tried, but I kind of want to try again with Ronda Rousey being the draw. Curious - everyone says how good she is, it that just that her competition isn't particularly good, or is she just that good?

Both really. Not to put down the ladies but no one is at her level right now

She's a fantastic fighter and there are a lot of really great female fighters at her weight, but the gap between them is just huge. Jon Jones is experiencing the same thing at Light Heavyweight and Anderson Silva did for years at Middleweight. It's not a knock on any of the unbeatable champions because they are that good, but their competition just isn't at a competitive level for the most part.
