Paradox games but definitely NOT GAMES OF THRONE

I still don't know why you guys would get a game with a totally awesome Middle Ages in Europe simulator and use it to play a thing based on some TV show/books.

I'd rather learn the ropes on a smaller scale. So it made sense to go with the mod. Besides, I'm a GoT geek.

I'm a history geek too, but I'd need to skip at least the first hundred years and get some Plantagenets involved before I start geeking.

Changed my succession law to elective, then nominated my youngest son, Galdrion. He's the only one who likes me. Also gave away my titles except one. Hotho is preparing for his death. Grendel, my eldest, was heir before and he hated me. So it was done to stop him taking over.

It sounds like your game is mostly running itself from the stories you tell, haha. What do you actually do in the game?

Like pretty much all Paradox games, you mostly sit there and wait.

Although if you sit there and wait during the midst of a Hearts of Iron game, you will lose very quickly.

Crusader Kings II is now 19.99 so I am pretty sure I'll be picking it up.

Going out to Avenue Q and supper now - when I get home this'll be done download. Super pumped - I didn't realize it was a game focused on building a dynasty and the like before I heard y'all talking about it. That makes it ten times more interesting to me than something like Europa.

I was also able to pick up Mount & Blade: Warbrand on sale as well.

Yeah, I wept when I saw the sale. I've been wanting to grab CK2 for about a month and a half now. Downloading it now, can't wait to jump in.
