Managers just don't stay at Real for long, do they? It's somewhat remarkable how little the manager seemingly matters as far as club culture and all that goes. Looking back through their managerial history, the only managers to even last 3 years in the past three deacdes are Jose Mourinho and Vicente Del Bosque in his 3rd reign, who lasted 3 and a half years or so. Before that you have to go back to Leo Beenhakker in the mid-80's who lasted three years, and then a pair of Yugoslavian managers who both managed around three years in the 70's and early 80's. Miguel Munoz lasted 14 years, that is the last time someone exceeded 4 years as Real Madrid manager, from 1960 to 1974.
