I played it a lot but it got boring as I was making money hand over fist. Even my porno films that I released direct to video was making me a good profit.

The biggest net profit I ever made:

Title: Public Perception

Synopsis: Supsense Thriller, A corporation struggles to contain a disaster.

Domestic: $518,936,000

Foreign: $782,008,000

Total: $1,642,006,000

Awards: Best Movie, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor,

Writer: Boog Tyler

Producer: Guy Scott

Director: Oliver Stone

Starring: Tom Hanks, Jullianne Moore

Supporting Roles: Jonathan Ke Quan and Mena Suvari

The movie I thought would flop which was a huge success:

Stuffed Heads, written, produced and Starring Angelina Jolie. "An alien race hunts humans for sport."

But I put M. Night Shymalayan on director, put Brad Pitt opposite Jolie and for the supporting cast I put Laurence Fishburne and Brittany Murphy.

Made $1,006,935,000.

Sorry for the double reply, but i've been able to pry myself away from the game, and i've finally got the hang of it. Best movie ever?

Walking Tall > 1,506,959,000 Worldwide Box Office release.

And Sean Connery retired to go to a nudist colony. :shifty:

Is there anyway to keep the game fresh after years upon years? I mean, i've been playing so long people are dropping left and right, and i'm not sure how much longer i'll be able to play.

I just do script rewrites and polishes until I get 5* scripts and then I give it whatever budget, etc. Once in a long while I hit the jackpot with a profit around 800 mil - 1 billion, but often times it's less or even a loss.

What month are you releasing the movies in? The best months are from May thru August and December to January. October is best for horror movies and February is best for romantic oriented movies. If the movie gets 98-99% ratings at screenings but does shitty and ur releasing movies in any of the months I listed above, then it may be a glitch that not many people, if any, get.

Weird thing is that I was giving out less advertisements when I first started and I was doing great, now I shill it out on most films like this:

3.500 theatres

TV: 30-35 million

Print: 20-25 million

Radio: 5 million

Before I gave less, it's very odd because i'm doing better, hiring all the top actors getting 4-5 stars in just about everything. It's very odd, and makes me sad. I'll experiment tonight with giving out less like I used to.

OK, well what did it say for adverstiment? *****?

Secondly, you don't need to spend that much on groundbreaking SFX, it's just a waste of money.

Thirdly, there's way too many A-list actors on there, I usually use on A-list actor for the main role, then an average Female actor, and ditto for the Supporting role.

It could be you're throwing too much money at the advertisements, if you do, fans will get sick of seeing it and won't see the movie.

The way I do it is thus:

TV: $20 million

Radio: $3-7 million.

Print: $1-2 million.

Of course it all depends on the budget of the movie as well. Play around with it, that's part of the fun, it's no fun if you're always getting $1billion revenue. That's why I stopped playing.
