The Marvel Cinematic Universe TV Thread

Agent Carter continues to be fantastic. It's probably my favourite piece of escapist television I've watched in ages, and I don't know why I'm surprised by how much I enjoy each week. Plan on jumping back into Agents of Shield at some point, cos I'll need my fun TV fix once this is over.

It's a good show, but with everything Marvel has released since the first Iron Man, I just don't see how it fits into the greater continuity of the MCU and what kind of importance any of the storylines/events are supposed to play. I look at it mainly as a distraction until the real, important show comes back on the air.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good show and all. But I just... don't really see the importance, when A.O.S. and I'm assuming the Netflix series of shows play larger roles in their universe, this is just kinda... there.

I thought it was awesome and then fact that they dos so much with just 8 episodes is great. Hope there's another series for sure.

Between this, First Avenger and the one shot I think Peggy Carter may be my favourite character in the MCU at the moment.

Argh, good episode, but I guess I was expecting something monster awesome after the mid-season finale. Still, some parts were pretty cool, though, and the Tripp sendoff at the end was kind of sweet.

Coulson had some amazing lines, though. Spoilers below.

"I count four left. You know what that means."

"Not really."

And

"They'll never take us alive!"

was hilarious.

Also, I guess Tripp is related to Fury, somehow?! And they're teasing Hyrda might be dead?! Yeah, right. And Bobby and Mac might be baddies?! I'm so curious about that!

Okay, maybe it was a pretty good episode :P

Why do you think Tripp and Fury are related? His grandfather was a Howling Commando, but thats it I believe

Fury's father was a Howling Commando as well, right?

Nick Fury himself started as a Howling Commando, but that doesn't ft into the MCU

Also, it appears that, when the time comes, Simmons will be on Starks side of the Civil War and pro-registration
