Guess this means no more LOW. (They do make it right?)

August 30, 2004 - Acclaim Entertainment, the Glen Cove, New York game company that got its start with titles such as WWF Wrestlemania and NBA Jam, officially filed for bankruptcy, has let all its employees go, and shut its doors for good, IGN learned today.

Last week they closed all there development stations including there flagship one in NY, NY. It was only a matter of time. There best games were for SNES though and there best games are behind them. But Juiced & The Red Star looked good :(

Damn, LOW was getting better and better each year.

Although if they did the 3DO thing and auction off all their titles, we may see LoW 4 in the future.

Well, despite the fact they have LoW, at least I won't have to see a bad NBA Jam rehash or even......BMX XXX 2!

The horror, oh, the horror!!!

See, that happens if you put out crap games without good licenses to draw, it was still running good wen they had the WWF marks buying their crap N64 and SNES games.

Sad for the jobs, but if you are part of producing so much shit i won´t feel anny serius sadness.

Good. That'll fucking teach them to recycle that PITIFUL engine for years with WWF and ECW. If they had bothered to put out quality products, they would have never destroyed their reputation.

The PSOne ECW games blew. Hardcore Rev was just a ECW-ized version of Attitude. The Barbed Wire match sucked, because the barbed wire was practically useless.

And sweet God, BMX XXX ...

Now if SPIKE can pick up the LOW games and put the KOC engine in the games.

I will give them credit for Attitude though ... it could handle bucketloads of CAWs ...

In the newer games, you can only have a set number. Smackdown 2 let you have 10, and RAW let you have 32.
