Everyone buys to many games. It´s cheap, but you don´t play half (or 95%) of it anyway so it often turns out to be more expensive than planned. In the last week alone i likely bought enough games to last me half a year.
So here is my new years challenge to you, if you take part in it, put your name on the list and don’t buy a new game unless you finished AT LEAST one of the games you already own - if you finish more games than one you still only get to buy a new one. - If you play a game that has no real end to it (Fifa, LoL ect.) to bad for you, there is no escape by removing the finish line.

Bundle Deals are considered one game. Free games are free (i.e. PS+, GOG, or xBox life stuff - go get it)

We don’t start this before the current steam sale ends because we don’t want to mass suicide day one. :-p

Only sign up if you actually are in the spiral of impulse buying games you don’t have no time to ever play.

Feel free to suggest more rules. (like for DLC? LoL Skinns?)

Since we can´t stalk you properly on every platform besides steam this will work out by pure Honnor Code - if you get eliminated just post what happened. I put up a steam copy of Super Hexagon towards the last person standing. (yes, i am willing to invest several cents into this, feel free to ad more prices. :-p)

Feel free to report on what old games you dug up to play, post great deals to tempt the others ect.

I'm totally up for this! Need to justify all I spent the last few years - not to mention I have some good stuff which I really should play. Currently playing Arkham Origins, so first order is to finish that off (think I'm at the end part now anyway).

I'm game for this - but as far as games go like Crusader Kings II - I'd like to be able to set a goal and then it would be considered 'beat'. Same thing with a sports game 'actually finish a season' or something along those lines.

One could debate about that. But there should be some kind of limit, there is no use to Fifa or FM getting you a free pass for each Season played. Once is enough, what do you think?

Just Bought Godus. Now i need to finish two games because i want to Pick up the Sims 3 Into the Futur AdOne (more for completions sake, it will be 13$ i belive) once it gets the Amazon.Com Sale and because i want to upgrade my Kickstarter Pledge on Wastland 2 to get into the Beta once a mac version is up (they will offer this at the end of this month for 10$) - Both are fairly silly though since i have not played the sims in ages (have barely tuched the last two addones) and will get the full version of wastland due to kickstarter anyway.

Also The Banner Saga is comming in on the 14. but i do not count that as a new game since i did suport it on Kickstarter and i will just get the Key. But there is enough stuff to play. So maybe i will just save that cash on Sims and Wastland.

Played a bit of Hitman today, weather is shit anyway. It´s one of those games that i got realy cheap but never put the time in it deservs, its fun. Also blocking a fair amount of HDD space. Got 5 of 20 Missions don i belive.

How are you kids doing? Am i the only one to actualy care? :D

Good resource on how much time a game needs to be finished.
