Colly Posted September 19, 2015 Report Share Posted September 19, 2015 The thing that I found odd last night was that when the ref doesn't call for the video the replay still plays for the fans. That disallowed Fiji try was fine until the fans all saw the third replay and groaned, at which point the ref changed his mind. It means decisions are correct...Also, the only other comparable sport is NFL in terms of high impact bursts of play, and they break every few seconds. You probably need to factor in some natural moments of respite for these players to even allow them to get through an 80 minute game.
