This is a few days late, but the bassist for Cave In, Caleb Scofield, died in a car crash.

I've not followed them for quite a few years, but Antenna and Perfect Pitch Black are awesome albums that were a huge part of my teenage years. Sad story.

Chester Bennington died one year ago today. Still sucks. Linkin Park was one of the first bands I got into, and they put out quality stuff way beyond Meteora.

I was watching an interesting video about why Michael Jackson and Prince didn't get along. It came up that "Bad" was written to be a duet with MJ and Prince. I'm listening to it and I really can't hear it as a Prince song no matter how much I try.

I found out today that The Offspring were formed (albeit under a different name) 35 years ago. I still think of them as a fairly new act, so I was really surprised.
