It's called the Christmas rush, it happens every year They release all the good games or hyped up games just before Christmas, as they know they'll get more of a sale (But if the games good enough/hyped enough it will probably get a good sale either way).

I have some good news for you. Due to some unscrupulous retailers in Italy and

Sweden who decided to start selling Football Manager 2005 early without

permission, ourselves and Sega have made the decision to bring the release date

of Football Manager 2005 forward to this Thursday, November 4th.

So, that means that you'll be able to buy Football Manager 2005 from this

Thursday from all good, and some bad, retailers. A full list of UK and Irish

I can almost taste it now...

...Possibly because I've been playing the demo but that's neither here nor there.

I've got a game as Middlesbrough going. Brought in Veron from Chelsea for £4.5m and Bierofka (a sweet German winger who gets into the 6 yard box every time) from Leverkusen for £425k. I'm currently 5th in the league (Aston Villa are at the top unbeaten...the hell?! O'Leary isn't THAT good!) and have won every game in the EURO/UEFA Cup thus far. Unfortunately I get Man Utd or Arsenal in the Domestic Cups so I've been knocked out in both of those.

And I very much doubt it'd arrive on Wednesday. Thursday would probably be the best bet.

Mine is packing too. When it arrives will probably depend on when you ordered caus i'm guessing theres gonna be a big backlog of orders so they'll send out the oldest first. I ordered mine in September so I hope it will arrive thurs/fri.

I only ordered mine on Sunday as I wasn't sure whether I would just buy it in a shop or get in online. I hope there isn't a back log which will delay the arrival of the game.
