Watched them both last night. Great movies. Resident Evil was pretty good but I would like to know did they stay true to the first Resident Evil game? I never played it, I only played Resident Evil 2 which scared the hell out of me.

I also watched X-men 2 which was better than the first and I hope they make an X-men 3 and we finaly get to see Beast. What would be really cool if they did a cross movie with Spider man.

Just another reason why america is better than europe as a whole.

We get movies before you do. Unless it's made by a british director.

Really, why should Resident Evil stay exactly true to it's games? It has to change, or what would really be the reasoning for seeing it if you've already played the games. So they had to bring a different side to things.

I don't think he means, did it follow the game exactly, but did it have continuity. I think it did, but I saw the film years after last playing the game, so I could be wrong about that.

And Scarface > Happy Matteo.

I honestly don't remember the game as I played one of its incarnations, but honestly, I think it did a good job as using the game as a template then creating a whole new beast (no pun intended) on its own.

But in a good way. Look at Tomb Raider. Not like the games, but derived from them. I wouldn't want to see a bitch hopping around on rocks for two hours. It was a nice conversion.

You analog is flawed. Tomb Raider was a shitty movie.
