Taskmaster

Wozniak was very solid. Did feel a hint of pro-Mike bias from Greg but maybe I was reading into it too much and he was just that good!

I also noticed after the plates task that Mike was given 4 points and Sarah 3, despite Alex announcing the other way round. Didn't affect the results of the show at all, though, so ah well.

This is a really good group. Different dynamic from last go round. Less punchy laughter, more fun arguing over points. And yeah, Mike is already my favorite. He cinched that in the prize task. My wife says he reminds her a bit of Tim Vine.

Just finished it. This was so much fun. For anyone who loves the UK version, most definitely check it out. Plus it proves you don't really need to know the contestants before they go on the show, because I would've been buggered for UK season 11. I hope they renew NZ for at least another series or two - I could get used to there always being a Taskmaster series on the go.

Renewed for a second series if this link is to be believed. 👍

I’m just so happy that Mike had an absolutely lovely day.

I came in here with the intention of saying the exact same thing!

I've no idea how they do it, but once again the studio task game proves to be an unmissable contest of tension and intrigue.

It was so good. The combination of Lee Mack becoming increasingly competitive as the series goes on, and Mike Wozniak's mad crab movements was superb.

The "organise objects with your face" task was almost too much for me, I found it genuinely hard to watch. Thankfully Mike made up for it by smelling some brie and saying, "if it's wedge time, that's three sides". His repeated use of "it's X time" is wonderful, as is Greg finding him obviously delightful all the time.

I had said early on that Mike was going to win, but I'll settle for him losing spectacularly.

I'm genuinely impressed at Jamali's thinking in that captain's hat task. I'd have done the exact same as everyone else.

My girlfriend straight away asked why the others weren't wrapping up each leg individually. It never would have occurred to me to do that.
