If you want to create a word file of Injury Histories and Mask/Hair Histories for the workers that are currently in the database, that would definitely be something you could jump on right away.

Sure thing, I'll get to work right away.

As for the injury historyes, I'll try to be as accurate as possible about the specifics of the injury, but some info is just way too hard to find especially for lesser known workers, so some injuries will for example be there simply as "Knee Injury" instead of "Torn ACL" if that's alright.

The goal is to make this absolutely as complete as possible. When we get to a point that there's a decent amount of people saying the database is too large, we'll see if we can get a volunteer to make a "Lite" version of the mod for those people, while the rest of us continue adding to the database. I want this to wind up being the most complete game world possible.

In regards to your offer, there is always stuff to get done! I'd hold off on the Power 500 for now though. Maybe wait until we have all of the major promotions added, so that you don't have to go back and adjust the Power 500 after the fact.

We already have someone working on it, but if you'd like to jump on Gimmicks maybe to help out? Obviously, with more than one person working on it, I can't guarantee that everything done will stay in the mod in the future, as we want to avoid clutter with multiple versions of the same thing, but that's definitely a place where we could use some help at the moment, so that I can start assigning gimmicks to the 272 workers currently in the database.

    That's awesome.

As far as working on gimmicks goes, whoever's working on them probably has their own system of doing them and I don't wanna come out midway through and create more work by doing them differently.

I'll try and remember to get back to you at a later date once this is a bit further along so I can start work on the P500 and maybe something else like Injury or Mask & Hair histories.

I can do worker profiles. Throw me a list of workers as you add them and I'll do up some bios. I can also do Title Lineages. I'd say some of these we should import from the default database such as Injuries, Angles and Match Types though we can always add to those as well. Once I get a handle on how much work the two projects I've taken on will be, I might be able to help with more.

I just think if we're going to claim to be "Elite" then we need to try to make sure that things are as complete as possible, even if it'll have little to do with the actual game. Such as Real Life Locations. Though it's a cosmetic thing more than anything, I think we should create a file for this mod that we can continue to add to or take away from for any other timeframe. Same with title lineages. Titles may be retired by June 2002 but I think over time we should add them so that we can basically activate or deactivate depending on what we're working on.

I know it seems like a lot of work, but honestly we can work on it over time and release various iterations of it until we feel like we have a complete product.

In a perfect world this would also be the case for promotions, workers, dojos & graduates, titles etc. Would be an insane amount of work, though as you said, could be worked on over time.

Quick Update: I just have six guys left that I need to create for ROH. Bio-Hazard, Boogalou, Chris Divine, John Hope, Quiet Storm and Rudy Boy Gonzalez.

After I finish up those six guys, I will be moving on to adding the 2003 workers for NWATNA. Beyond that, I'm going to jump on creating some gimmicks to help out with that.

With two promotions set for the United States, the third company I'll be adding in will be from outside of the US. Again, I'll look at the top "Free Agents" that are included in the mod as of that point, and will give you guys a selection to choose from. I just want to make sure that we don't load up on any one area while neglecting others.

Need help with anything? I could do Power 500 if no one's done those yet.

    New Day - Change their momentum to B - B+ (It's at F now)

    Workers:

Remove Lana as Dolph Ziggler's Manager
Adam Rose's gimmick needs to be changed from Party Animal
Remove Rosa Mendes as Adam Rose's manager
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are pretty much faces now
Steve Lombardi/Brooklyn Brawler no longer works for WWE
Christian finished up with WWE last month
Damien Sandow returned to his old Aristocrat character
Kane needs to be changed to face and his gimmick should be Bad Ass or Monster
Lana is a heel, and should be managing Rusev again
Lex Luger isn't a Road Agent and what work he did/does probably doesn't translate to TEW pruposes

Call up Tyler Breeze and set Summer Rae as his manager - bump his overness a bit

Set Summer Rae as a heel

    Teams:

    Kidd/Cesaro should be inactive
The Dudley Boys should be active

    Injuries:

Missing Injuries for: Randy Orton, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Sting, Nikki Bella,

    Storylines:

All Storylines for WWE can be deleted as they are out of date

I believe Christian might still have some sort of contract with them since him and Edge have the upcoming Network show.

Luger works on their Wellness Policy, so perhaps Personality would be closest to it?

  6. I think 80 for Vince was justified seeing as he's a proven "ratings draw" (geez, feel like a geek now  ), always generates a reaction one way or another and is one of the most well known personalities in and outside of pro wrestling. However, no problem with the 70 either.

My knowledge of TNA is pretty limited as I've never really watched it consistently, but I can try. :)

  7. CZW

    - Add Stockade, Tim Donst, Danny Havoc and Rex Lawless

    - Remove Rich Swann and Sexxxy Eddy, their appearances at Cage Of Death were very likely just one-off appearances.

    - Remove Ruckus

    - Make Women Superstars Uncensored a child company of CZW or do a working agreement/alliance between the two as WSU is also owned by DJ Hyde.

    - Rename the show "CZW (December)" to CZW Cage Of Death, Name postfix numbered: 16. Season Finale: Yes, raise importance to Above Average.

    - Tournament Of Death: change Name postfix 13 to 14. Raise importance to Above Average.

    - Best of the Best: change Name postfix 13 to 14. Raise importance to Above Average.

    - Tangled Web: change Name postfix 7 to 8.

    - Add a tag team called OI4K with Jake Crist & Dave Crist. Tag exp: 100.

    - Add a tag team called Beaver Boys with Alex Reynolds & John Silver. Tag exp: 35

    - Add a tag team called Team TREMENDOUS. Tag exp: 40

    - Remove Ruckus, Alex Colon and Rich Swann from stable BLKOUT, make inactive.

    - Add stable The Body, The Bomb & The God. Add Pepper Parks, Papadon & Cherry Bomb

    - Add stable Nation of Intoxication. Add Lucky 13, Danny Havoc and Devon Moore

    - Make Cherry Bomb a manager. Manages Pepper Parks and Papadon.

  8. Case could be made for Ambrose being a B- as he's in a quite similar position to Ziggler, but just barely so maybe 72-73'ish for him? However, I don't think Rusev is quite there yet. I'd say he just barely makes a C+, so around 66-67 for him. The feud with Cena could potentially propel him to a B- tier if booked well. Agree on Heyman.

Didn't want to overrate the NXT guys so maybe I ended up underrating them a bit n the process. Where would you put them popularity wise?

edit: Changed up the popularities of the WWE main roster guys and checked how the card position looked like after that.

This is how it looked before:

    Main Eventers

John Cena, Sheamus, Kane, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show
    Upper Midcarders
The Miz, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, Ryback, Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio, Bad News Barrett, Rusev, Damien Mizdow
    Midcarders
Stardust, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Kofi Kingston, Christian, Big E., R-Truth, Luke Harper, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Seth Rollins, Goldust, Cesaro, Darren Young
    Lower Midcarders
Fernando, Jimmy Uso, Diego, Tyson Kidd, Titus O'Neill, Bo Dallas, Jey Uso
    Openers
Konnor, Xavier Woods, Zack Ryder, David Otunga, Adam Rose
    Enhancement Talents

    Viktor

This is how it looks after the changes

    Main Eventers

John Cena, Seth Rollins (needed to change style to Regular Wrestler), Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show
    Upper Midcarders
The Miz, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Kane, Bad News Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Rusev, Ryback, Christian

    Openers
Konnor, Viktor, Xavier Woods, Diego, David Otunga
    Enhancement Talents

    Fernando

  9. Here's how I'd have the popularities set up as far as WWE & NXT go (used the GDS guide as reference);

    A*

    The Rock, Steve Austin
    A
    The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar
    B+
    John Cena
    B
Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk
    B-
Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Sting, Ric Flair, Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Edge,
    C+
Sheamus, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, Rob Van Dam, Christian, Jerry Lawler, Paul Heyman, Booker T,
    C
Jack Swagger, Bad News Barrett, JBL, Damien Sandow, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Ryback
    C-
Cesaro, Luke Harper, Goldust, Stardust, The Usos, Rusev
    D+
R-Truth, Fandango, Erick Rowan, Big E
    D
Zack Ryder, Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Sin Cara, Tyson Kidd
    D-
Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Los Matadores, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, The Ascension, David Otunga, Xavier Woods
    E+
    Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville
    E
Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami
    E-
Tyler Breeze, Kalisto, Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Baron Corbin, Solomon Crowe
    F+
Bull Dempsey, Mojo Rawley, CJ Parker, Aiden English, Simon Gotch, Marcus Louis, Sylvester LeFort
    F
    Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy,
    F-
Chad Gable, Angelo Dawkins, Cal Bishop, Hugo Knox, Jason Jordan, Morkeith Brown, Sawyer Fulton, Scott Dawson, Dylan Miley, Braun Stowman, Troy McClain, Tye Dillinger

Haven't tried these in-game yet so don't know how out of whack the card positions would be.

Anyways, excited to see how this mod will look in the near future. Looks very promising to say the least. Good job.

  10. Change Ricochet's style to Cruiserweight. Give him C mat wrestling and chain wrestling and C- submission. Give him C+ Star Quality and Sex Appeal. Give him A Athleticism. Give him C- pop in Japan and D- in USA. Set him to debut in 2004.

Change Rockin' Rebel's birthday to January 1966 and set to debut in December 1988.

    Change Cheeseburger's style to Entertainer.

Make John Cena set to debut in November 1999.

Set Caylen Cage to retired, never wrestles. Set him to debut in 2001.

Import Aeroboy from TheWho and add him to CZW as a face masked luchador.

I wouldn't add Aero Boy to CZW just yet. He was likely just an import for Tournament Of Death, just like the BJW guys. If he starts appearing more regularly for them, then sure, add him there.

  11. And again, why change it now. Just roll with it, it's not like it's turning segments ratings down or something. Better have a balanced database with sex appeal stats that are balanced too instead of Ryback having the same sex appeal as Ambrose.

thats the problem. it's too easy to get good ratings because some of the stats, not just sex appeal, are so inflated, and I'm not the only one who feels this way either.

    .

it's funny you say "why change it now?", because isn't that why the thread even is here? to propose changes? like you do almost daily?

and btw, this is not meant as a knock for cpt.charisma, because he's done a great job putting these out every month and thanks to him for that.

We can imagine the sex appeal does something for ratings and give the workers what they deserve in that section, and Ryback is definitely NOT as adorated by the female demographic as Ambrose. It's not like someone's gonna go and turn every single male sex appeal stat to 0, so why not do it right.

exactly, and change the sex appeal stats to how it's meant to be. Nowhere did I say that mens sex appeal stats should be set to 0, but it shouldn't be rated as high as women either. There's a middle ground here. Most of the workers in WWE would be in that 30-50 area, while the better looking ones in 60-70 range.

Shouldent men get rated for some kind of sex appeal for gimmicks such as Teen Idol and Ravashing, I'd also argue that workers such as Flair and Michaels in their prime would of had at least a medium level rating.

yes they should be rated, but not as highly as women.

  12. And again, why change it now. Just roll with it, it's not like it's turning segments ratings down or something. Better have a balanced database with sex appeal stats that are balanced too instead of Ryback having the same sex appeal as Ambrose.

  13. Add Rich Bocchini

Rich Brennan describes his job as “proof that dreams come true.” As a child growing up in Providence, R.I., Brennan’s sole desire was to one day become an announcer for WWE. Also an avid fan of WCCW, AWA and WCW, Brennan vividly remembers attending WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in his hometown at the Providence Civic Center.
While Rich is the newest face at NXT’s announce desk, he’s certainly no stranger to the broadcast booth. Brennan has announced for numerous hockey and arena football teams, Major League Soccer, and has even worked as a sports anchor for KGBT-TV in Harlingen, Texas. Now that he’s achieved his goal of making it to WWE NXT, Brennan proudly proclaims: “I feel like this is where I was meant to be.”

No. We've been over this already.

Seth Rollins already has somewhere in that range and I don't see tumblr fantasy involving him really. If the database was made with males having sex appeal stats why start changing it now?

Because it's not supposed to be that way. The stat was primarily made for women.

  15. Ricky Steamboat is no longer with the WWE / NXT.

Steamboat will be doing several conventions and non-WWE interview DVD's in the coming months, which is usually a sign that you're no longer under contract to the company. Steamboat was doing promotional work for WWE in Malaysia this past May. - source: PWInsider

    UPDATE:

We noted earlier this week that as of last week's WWE TV tapings, Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat had been let go from the company due to budget cuts.

Something changed some time over the past 48 hours, perhaps WWE changing their mind. Steamboat has reached out to several non-WWE promoters to inform them that he can't do the appearances he had booked with them and if they still wanted him to appear, they would have to contact WWE and get approval.

Word now is that Steamboat is with the company. - source: PWInsider
