I'm on Windows 8... I've figured out what the problem was. I created a shortcut on my desktop that was opening the game without asking me if I wanted to run it as administrator. I right-clicked the shortcut, ran the game as administrator and checked the database. It works fine without any problems now. Thanks for helping me figure this out

Thanks for that. I've just checked the save game folder and there was nothing in there, so I'm stumped. I'll investigate further tomorrow and see if I can figure out what the problem is...

I'm having some trouble with this database, when trying to check the database for errors before creating a new game I receive the following error... I've ran the data check a couple of times now, and it always seems to crash at team 1599 of 1599. I'd delete that team to see if that fixes the problem, but unfortunately I don't know which team is team 1599. If it helps, I had to copy the data files into the "default" data folder as when I tried to create a new database, it wouldn't create a folder.
