    WWE RAW- September 12, 2005

    Little Rock, Arkansas

The traditional RAW intro plays including the pyro explosion all the sounds of Union Underground’s “Across the Nation.”

JR: We are one week away from an Unforgiven pay per view to remember! Jim Ross alongside Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler and the Coach, and tonight, the road to Unforgiven makes a stop in Little, Rock!

King: The home of the ‘Razorbacks’ JR, and tonight we’re gonna set the final stage for Sunday!

Coach: There’s nothing to be set guys, this Sunday at Unforgiven, RAW will have a new champion and his name is Kurt Angle!

Just as the Coach finished his last statement, the camera cuts to the backstage area where we see a livid Edge storming through the locker room halls. He walks in on General Manager Eric Bischoff’s office…

Bischoff: (On his cell phone) He’s going to be here tonight? Aww man…ok.

    Edge: (interrupting) BISCHOFF!

Bischoff looks up at Edge frantically..

Bischoff: I’m going to have to call you back, keep me posted.

He hangs up his cell phone and turns his attention to the infuriated Edge.

Bischoff: (contd.) What can I do for you this evening Edge?

Edge: Cut the crap Bischoff, my wife is gone damnit! She was just snatched up from ringside last week and I haven’t seen her since. I know who did it and I want my wife back!

Bischoff: Of course, everyone here at RAW wants Lita to return safely to your arms as soon as possible. I know exactly who you think could have pulled such a travesty!

Edge: Oh really? Then you know what I want.

Bischoff: Oh do I? This Sunday at Unforgiven, you and Matt Hardy will finally put everything to an end, all the hatred, the betrayal, the heartbreak, all of it. This Sunday, it will be Edge and Matt Hardy in a Fall Count Anywhere match. All things will come to an end at Unforgiven Edge, and you will get your wife back.

Edge: That bastard is going to pay for what he did. Hold on Lita, I’m coming to take you away from that no good loser, hold on.

Edge leaves Bischoff’s office abruptly after getting what he wanted. He turns the corner and suddenly sees Matt Hardy talking with a WWE staff member it seems.

His eyes light up in fury as he charges Hardy from behind. This incites a backstage brawl of epic proportions. Officials try and break the brawl up but GM Eric Bischoff enters the hallway and demands that they continue to fight until they reach the ring, because he just booked Matt Hardy in a match with ‘The Problem Solver’ Tyson Tomko.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

The brawl has now entered the arena. Edge and Hardy fight until they reach the ring where Edge delivers a low blow to Matt Hardy. He then grabs a mic and calls for his new ‘Problem Solver’ Tyson Tomko to come to the ring and finish the job off.

    Singles Match-

Matt Hardy vs. Tyson Tomko w/Edge

This match wasn’t even fair from the start. Tomko dominated the already bruised and battered Matt Hardy at Edge’s every command. Tomko pretty much controlled all aspects of the match. None of Matt Hardy’s offensive counters seemed to affect the ‘Problem Solver.’ This match was over before it started even though Hardy did make a short comeback with right hands and a suplex. In the end, Tomko caught Hardy with a Big Boot after a distraction from Edge for the pinfall victory.

    Winner by Pinfall: Tyson Tomko

After the match, Edge immediately re-entered the ring and began assaulting the fallen Matt Hardy. Tomko disposed of the referee in the process. Edge continues to pound on Hardy. He demands Tomko to life the limp body of Hardy up. Tomko follows the orders. Edge then nails Hardy with a Spear almost breaking him in half. Edge then demand for a microphone…

Edge: (in Matt’s face) Matt Hardy, you think you’re really funny, huh? You pull all of these fake Kane promos trying to scare my wife and me. Well that didn’t work. So now you planned that whole blackout at the end of RAW last night just because you realized that there was no other way you would get Lita back. Well I want here back you little a** hole! I will make you pay for what you did Matt. You can abduct Lita all you want Matt, she will NEVER have love for you again. Lita is mine, and you’ve made the biggest mistake of your career; besides coming back to the WWE. I’m not leaving this ring until you tell me where Lita is. Tomko and I have no problem beating it out of you.

Edge snuffs Matt with the mic expecting him to say something but Hardy is in too much pain to respond with an answer.

Edge then smacks Hardy in the face and screams profanities at him while Tomko tags along.

Edge: No answer Matt, is that what you’re gonna do tonight?

Edge orders Matt up, he then nails him with his second Spear of the night. Hardy is in no shape to say anything.

Edge: (contd.) Where’s Lita Matt, huh, huh, where the hell is Lita?!

Suddenly, the lights dim and a fiery blaze erupts on stage. Then, a picture of Lita sitting in the middle of a pitch black room, bound and gagged appears on the big screen. She’s wearing the same clothes she had on last week. She looks as though she’s been crying.

A ring of fire arises around Lita the word “UNFORGIVEN” appears in front, also in flames. Lita begins to cry out but no one can understand her.

Edge’s attention shifts from Matt Hardy to the big screen. The lights come back on and Edge drops his microphone and sprints to the backstage area without hesitation. His only goal is to find Lita, but where is she, and who is she with?

Matt Hardy is left in the middle of the ring as the show fades to its first commercial breaks of the evening.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns in the office of GM Eric Bischoff where we see him and a cheery Kurt Angle dressed in wrestling gear.

Angle: Well boss, who am I destroying tonight?

Bischoff: You know what Kurt, I’m thinking of giving you the night off. You could use the rest because this Sunday at Unforgiven, you WILL make John Cena beg for mercy and take away his WWE title for good.

Angle: You are so right Mr. Bischoff, John Cena got away with a cheap shot last week and at Unforgiven, I’m gonna break his ankle into little pieces.

Bischoff: Well Kurt, I’m so glad I could associate myself with the next WWE champion. But tonight, a very special person is supposed to be making an appearance.

    Angle: Tonight, who?

Bischoff walks up to Kurt and whispers in his ear the answer to his question…Angle’s expression changes to surprise.

Angle: Uh oh, don’t worry Mr. Bischoff, everything’s gonna be fine, just trust me.

Bischoff: I hope you’re right Kurt.

The two look at each other as Bischoff stares on with a worried look on his face.

    Tag Match-

The Heart Throbs vs. The Big Show and Shelton Benjamin

The crowd popped for almost every move Show or Benjamin seemed to do. This was relatively a squash of a tag match solidifying Show and Benjamin as a legit tag team. Along with a few cheap shots, Romeo and Antonio did control a short portion of the match. After Shelton Benjamin made a miraculous tag of the Big Show, the match was seemingly over. Show came in delivering clotheslines, scoop slams, and frying pan-like chops to Romeo and Antonio. He made quick work of the two after Benjamin disposed of Antonio allowing Show to deliver a massive Chokeslam to Romeo for the easy 3 count.

Winners by pinfall: Big Show and Shelton Benjamin

Soon after the match ended, newly crowned World Tag Team Champions Chris Master and Snitsky attempted a blindside attack of Show and Benjamin as they celebrated their victory. Show and Benjamin sniffed this one out and jumped the attack attempt. This time, Show and Benjamin got the upper hand as they disposed of the tag champs much to the delight of the Little Rock audience. Will this confrontation lead to a match at Unforgiven?

The camera suddenly pans to the backstage parking garage area where a long, black limo is seen pulling into the garage. Out of the blue, we here RAW GM Eric Bischoff’s voice as he frantically tries to make it to the limo before the door is opened.

Bischoff: (frantic) I’m coming, I’m coming!

He makes it to the limo pushing away the driver before he could open the door. Bischoff now cordially opens the door with a big grin on his face.

Bischoff: Welcome back to RAW Mr.-

His expression changes from a smile to an abrupt frown so to speak as Shawn Michaels exits the car instead of Bischoff’s surprise guest…

HBK: (smiling) Well Eric, I’m happy to see you too, but HBK don’t need no introduction. Since you’re opening the door for me and everything, why don’t you grab my bags from the back, you know where I stay.

HBK keeps that big smile on his face as he walks off camera. Bischoff is handed the bags by an agitated limo driver and is left with a stressed look on his face.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to the air to the tune Y2J Chris Jericho’s music, the ring is set up for an episode of the Highlight Reel.

Y2J: Welcome Little C**k to the Highlight Reel and I’m your host, the multimedia superstar Chris Jericho! As all of you may know, Chris Jericho put a VERY important tour on hold with my ROCK BAND Fozzy in order to settle a score with some “mentally challenged” a** clown who’s been looking for everybody’s sympathy for the last two years. Despite the fact that I’m currently talking to a bunch of mentally challenged a** clowns, you know him as Eugene. This Sunday at Unforgiven, I will go one on one with Eugene and make him wish that he was just dumb enough to not show up at the arena this Sunday. Well that brings me to my guest tonight on the Highlight Reel…he’s none other then my opponent this Sunday at Unforgiven, Eugene!

Eugene’s music hits and he is met with a mixed reaction as he cautiously makes his way to the ring with a depressing look on his face. Eugene slowly enters the ring as though frightened of Y2J. He grabs a microphone.

Y2J: Welcome to the Highlight Reel Eugene. How does it feel to be back in the ring with the person who beat the living hell out of you last week?

Eugene looks to answer but is interrupted…

Y2J: (contd.) You know what, why don’t I just show the clip on my INSANELY EXPENSIVE ‘Jeritron 5000.’

A clip of Eugene and Jericho’s confrontation during Eugene’s match with Rob Conway last week is shown on the big screen. It shows how bad Eugene was beaten last week by Jericho.

Y2J: Wasn’t that great Eugene? Because if you loved that, then you’re gonna covet what I’m gonna do to you this Sunday at Unforgiven.

Jericho’s tone changes and he gets in Eugene’s face.

Y2J: (contd.) I am gonna beat you’re a** Eugene and there’s nothing you or anybody else can do about it. I was the first ever Undisputed Champion Eugene, you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into pal!

Eugene: (firing back) You SUCK Y2J!

This pisses Jericho off and incites an attack from Jericho. As the one-sided brawl continues, the music of Val Venis plays and he runs to the aid of Eugene by breaking up the brawl.

This leads to a match between Val Venis w/Eugene and Chris Jericho. The ring is being cleared as RAW cuts to a break.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

    Singles Match-

Val Venis w/Eugene vs. Chris Jericho

Val had control of the match in its early stages. Oddly enough, the crowd was more behind Y2J than Val Venis. Val had the support of Eugene who was randomly cheering him on from the outside despite chants of “Eugene Sucks” ringing in from the crowd. As the crowd got behind Y2J, he began to mount a comeback which eventually gave him the upper-hand. Y2J tried his best to get some heat from the fans during the match but the fans seemed to like him a lot more than Eugene and his new friend Val Venis. The match went about 5 minutes long. The ending saw Eugene entering the ring and delivering a Stunner to Y2J while the ref was down after an accidental inzuguri kick from Y2J. Val Venis then delivered the Money Shot off the top rope just as the ref was regaining composure. Val made the cover and got the slow 1…2….3 from the ref to pick up the pinfall upset over Chris Jericho.

Winner by pinfall: Val Venis with Eugene

After the match, Eugene and Val celebrated up the ramp as Y2J had a temper tantrum in the ring which led to him attacking the referee. Y2J put Chad Patton in the Walls of Jericho after knocking him down. Several officials and road agents eventually came down to break things up. Jericho was livid.

The camera cuts to a department store setting in the center of Little Rock. We see Carlito and Kerwin White obviously shopping for clothes. The store looks to be on that only Kerwin White would shop in, the I.C. champ looks upset and lost as they search through the stores wardrobe.

Carlito: No, no, no Chavo. There’s no way Carlito is gonna wear this stuff to Unforgiven and my final Open Call challenge.

Kerwin: Now champ, I had to wear that crap that went against all my beliefs as Kerwin WHITE last week. The least you could do is come on over to my side for a night.

Carlito frowns at the sight of the middle-class America clothing he is observing.

Carlito: But dis stuff…it’s not cool.

Kerwin: You’re with Kerwin White now Carlito, and Kerwin knows how to dress.

Kerwin picks up a clothing set and shows it to Carlito.

    Kerwin: What do you think?

Carlito eyes it up and down, then pulls out an apple from his pocket, takes a bit out of it, and then goes on to spit it onto the articles of clothing Kerwin is showing him.

Kerwin: Alright champ, follow me, I have something that’s just right for you.

Carlito follows Kerwin White and they disappear into the dressing room area as the camera fades to black for a commercial break.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to air with a promo video hyping the debuts of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

JR, Coach and the King then promote Unforgiven by going down the list of matches for the PPV, they even announce newly signed matches for the event that takes place in the sold out Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

And speaking of HBK, he will be in action this Monday night as he takes on the Hurricane. Will his mean streak continue this week in Little Rock?

Also, Lita is nowhere to be found after last weeks blackout during the Edge/John Cena match. Will a desperate Edge do whatever's necessary to find his wife, or will he and his mortal enemy Matt Hardy confront each other once again?

All this and more, including a special appearance by a certain WWE hiearchy..

Shawn Michaels to take on The Hurricane

    Chris Jericho vs Val Venis

Big Show and Shelton Benjamin vs The Heart Throbs

    RAW rebound

Dupree then delivers a few clubs to the back. Dupree taunts to the crowd before nailing Hogan with a back elbow off an irish whip sending the legend to he mat. Dupree controls Hogan for a little bit longer until Hogan begins to ‘Hulk Up.’ He delivers his customary right hands and big boot to the French superstar. Dupree was caught completely off guard. Hogan motions to the crowd as he prepares to deliver his trademark Leg Drop. The sold out crowd erupts with excitement as they sense the end is near for Dupree. As Hogan prepares to come off the ropes for the Leg Drop, a video of old NWO footage appears on the titan tron. This distracts Hogan for a bit. The footage continues claiming that Hogan is a fraud and turned his back on the WWE and his fans when joining the WCW and NWO in 96’. Hogan looks puzzled at the titantron as the footage comes to a close. Dupree rises back to his feet and charges at Hogan from behind, but Hogan turns just in time and nails Dupree with a big boot that surely knocked him out. WWE RAW- September 5, 2005

    Nashville, TN

A video vignette is shown at the beginning of the show highlighting the events that surfaced around Kurt Angle and John Cena last week on RAW ending with Cena writhing in pain while in the Ankle Lock at the end of RAW.

Skipping the customary RAW intro, we see an extremely ecstatic Kurt Angle in the ring. He stands with a smile on his face and a microphone in his hand. The crowd doesn’t seem happy to see him…

Angle: You guys like that? Two weeks in a row I end RAW with John Cena writhing in pain. You gotta love it! You see Cena, that’s nothing compared to what I’m gonna do to you at Unforgiven. If winning an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck isn’t enough to convince you that your little reign as WWE champion will soon be over, then breaking your ankle in half will sure do the trick! You like to lead a thug life don’t you Cena? Well at Unforgiven, I’m gonna beat you’re a** just like the street thugs that bullied you during your childhood did, except you won’t be getting up from this fight. So get used to spinning that emblem around on your belt for the last time. I’m gonna make you BEG for MERCY Cena. I hope you TiVo’ed all of your matches as WWE champion, because Unforgiven will be your last!

Angle’s music hits and he disgustedly drops the mic and flaunts his gold medals to the crowd with a sick smirk on his face.

JR: Cold words from the number one contender Kurt Angle…

King: It looks like John Cena better prepare for the day that he will no longer be WWE Champion.

    Coach: I second that King!

The scene changes to the backstage area where we see Edge and Lita entering the arena. All of a sudden, RAW backstage announcer Todd Grisham enters the scene..

    Todd: Edge…hey Edge!

Edge: (already irritated) Damnit Todd! I thought I could actually have a night free of jackasses that ask stupid questions!

Todd: Sorry Edge, just doing my job…

Edge: What do you want now?

Todd: I just wanted to get your feelings on your main event match with WWE Champion John Cena, albeit non-title

Edge: Listen TODD, tonight I’m going to prove to the world that this briefcase I’m holding isn’t a fluke. Tonight’s match may be a non-title match, but I assure you that when the time comes, I will be WWE champion. It may be against Cena, Kurt Angle, I really don’t care who the champ is. John Cena better forget about his match at Unforgiven with Kurt Angle, because tonight I’m gonna make him look like the poser he is!

Todd: But I have to ask this question, what about the threat of Matt Hardy interfering with your match tonight?

Edge: You had to do it Todd, you had to bring up Matt Hardy. Last week he pulled a cheap stunt by attacking me from behind. Well, if he shows up to the arena tonight, there’s a surprise waiting for him. Matt Hardy will no longer be a problem of mine after tonight.

Edge storms off with his wife Lita by his side leave Todd with a puzzled look on his face as though trying to figure out what Edge has up his sleeve.

JR: I urge you Matt Hardy to stay away from the arena tonight, who knows what Edge and that she-devil Lita have up their sleeves tonight?!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns as we see the ‘French Phenom’ Rene Dupree. He showcases his body to the crowd as the arena treats him with a negative response.

Next, the familiar tune of the ‘Immortal’ Hulk Hogan hits. The crowd erupts as the charismatic hall of fame inductee makes his way to the ring.

    Singles Match-

    Hulk Hogan vs. Rene Dupree

The crowd was 100% behind Hulk Hogan throughout this match. This match wasn’t a total squash despite the crowd’s reaction to Hulk Hogan. Hogan pretty much controlled most of the match delivering his famous right hands, coupled with a few chops and scoop slams. As the match continued, Rene Dupree gained a short advantage after raking the eyes of the 50+ year old wrestler. He then delivers the Leg Drop and makes the pin for the 3 count.

    Winner by pinfall: Hulk Hogan

After the match, Hogan mildly celebrates before heading to the back as to see who was behind the old video footage from WCW.

The camera cuts to the backstage area where we see Chris Master and Snitsky talking in their locker room together.

Masters: (smiling) Man we really put it to the Big Show and Shelton Benjamin last week. They’ll think twice before they mess with the ‘Masterpiece’ and Snitsky again.

Snitsky: Yeah, but tonight we got what we wanted the whole time, a World Tag Team title match.

Masters: After we win those titles Snitsky, no one will wanna step to us. We are the next big things here on RAW, just ask Shelton Benjamin and the Big Show.

The both share a laugh together before the scene changes to the backstage area in and around the production trucks.

We see Hulk Hogan jogging towards one of the open production trucks filled with WWE staff.

Hogan: Hey, what’s going on back here?

Crew member: What do you mean Hulk?

Hogan: Who the hell put that NWO footage on the air?

Crew member: I don’t know, we tried to cut it, but it must have been aired from an entirely different location. There was nothing we could do.

Hogan: (a bit angry) Damnit, have you all seen Shawn Michaels floating around back here?

The entire crew shakes their heads no. Hogan realizes he’s not going to get any real answers from the production crew and leaves the truck. He heads toward the parking area and his famous red and yellow pickup truck.

Hogan turns the corner to the parking garage and starts heading toward his truck. He stops and then notices that his windshield has been smashed and his truck has been pretty much destroyed. On the hood, the word “FRAUD” is spray painted in black. Hogan rushes to his truck and relays the damage. He’s now infuriated. He opens his truck and grabs a cell phone from the glove compartment. He dials a number and puts the cell phone to his ear.

Before Hogan can even say a word, a hidden Shawn Michaels reveals himself from behind a black SUV parked beside Hogan’s truck. He nails Hogan in the back of the head with what seems to be a lead pipe. Hulk collapses to the ground. HBK then gives another shot with the pipe to the back of Hogan.

HBK: If you wanna know who played the footage of you turning your back on the fans, well I’m here to tell you that is was your old pal HBK Shawn Michaels! I hope you like the job I did on your truck Hogan, it definitely looks a lot better if you ask me.

HBK then takes a can of red spray paint from his pant’s pocket and begins to spell out the letters “H-B-K” on the back of the fallen Hogan. The camera then fades to black.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to air with the announcing crew recapping the events that just took place between Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels.

The camera cuts to the office of GM Eric Bischoff where we see Chris Jericho standing alongside the boss.

Y2J: Did you see that last week boss? Did you EUGENE pinning me to pick up the victory in a handicap match of all things? Did you SEE it?

Bischoff: (shaking his head) You’re damn right I saw it Jericho. It was a travesty! But don’t get too caught up over it Chris, we all saw what John Cena’s involvement in the match was.

Y2J: (hysterical) That’s beyond the point Mr. Bischoff, I lost to EUGENE in a handicap match. He can’t even spell his name for Christ sake!

Bischoff: Chris, don’t worry about it, that’s old news now. If you want to redeem yourself so much Chris, then you’ve got it!

Y2J: What are you hinting at boss?

Bischoff: (grinning) It’s gonna be you and Eugene at Unforgiven! You can finally put my nephew in his place for good!

Y2J: I don’t know how many times I’ve got to say it Mr. Bischoff, but you are truly a genius, a genius I tell you!

The two share a hug only meant for best friends to share before the camera fades back to the arena.

A video is then played promoting the debut of Cade and Murdoch.

JR: Another huge matchup signed for Unforgiven, it’s gonna be Jericho and Eugene!

Coach: Chris Jericho is finally gonna take care of Eugene for good and I can’t wait!

JR: Speaking of Eugene, he’s in action next!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns in style as the next match is set to go underway.

    Singles Match-

    Eugene vs. Rob Conway

Rob Conway continued his perfect body gimmick throughout this match. Neither were treated with good responses from the crowd in Nashville. Eugene tried his best to get a pop from the crowd but they just weren’t feeling him or his character. Rob Conway was pretty much in control of the match from the start. He delivered several punches and even a perfect dropkick to the mentally challenged opponent of his. Towards the end of the match, Rob Conway looked to nail Eugene with his Elbow Drop from the top rope, but Eugene rose quickly to his feet and climbed the ropes with catlike ability as though he was re-energized. Eugene came off the top with a superplex shocking the crowd. Eugene then stalked behind Conway preparing to deliver a Rock Bottom. Conway turns around and is met with the Rock Bottom from Eugene. The crowd boos the attempt to emulate The Rock by Eugene. Just as Eugene was set to pin Conway for the victory, Chris Jericho runs to the ring and breaks up the potential pin by Eugene. The ref calls for the bell giving Eugene the victory by DQ.

    Winner by disqualification: Eugene

After the match, Jericho continues the assault on a helpless Eugene much to the delight of the audience. Jericho lifts Eugene to his feet and delivers a bulldog followed by the Lionsault putting and end to any attempt at a comeback. Jericho then demands a microphone.

Y2J: (in Eugene’s face) You like that Eugene, huh, huh?! I didn’t think so. You wanted to pin me last week and get a cheap victory, well that was a big mistake. I am the first ever Undisputed Champion of the WWE damnit! I put my tour with Fozzy on hold because of what you did, and at Unforgiven, I’m gonna make you pay. No a** clown like you beats Chris Jericho and gets away with it!

Jericho slams the mic on Eugene’s head before leaving the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.

Coach: Now that’s what I’m talking about Y2J!

JR: How can you condone that Coach?

Coach: Easy, I just did. Eugene deserved everything he just got and then some. Man I can’t wait for Unforgiven!

The camera cuts the backstage dressing room where we see Kerwin White staring blankly into a mirror as Carlito puts the finishing touches on Kerwin’s new wardrobe.

Kerwin: (unenthused) I cannot believe I’m doing this.

Carlito: (pleased with what he’s done) That should do it Chavo. Now you look cool courtesy of Carlito.

Carlito seems very pleased with himself now…

Kerwin: I’ve gone completely against what I believe, my ancestors are probably turning over in their graves right now.

Carlito: What, so you don’t like it, cuz Carlito loves it.

Kerwin: Man, the guys at my country club aren’t going to let me get away with this.

Carlito: Don’t worry about it Chavo, you look cool now and that’s the important thing. Now let’s go, Carlito has a match next.

Carlito smiles in the mirror before heading out leaving Kerwin White in a heap of shame as he turns off the light in the dressing room.

JR: Carlito puts his Intercontinental Championship on the line next!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns with Carlito and Kerwin White standing in the middle of the ring awaiting Carlito’s next opponent.

Suddenly, “Live for the Moment,” Matt Hardy’s theme hits and the crowd erupts. The looks on Carlito and Kerwin’s faces change almost immediately. They definitely were not ready for this.

    Carlito’s Intercontinental Championship Open Call-

Carlito © w/Kerwin White vs. Matt Hardy

The crowd popped for Matt Hardy from the minute his music hit to the second he got into the ring. Carlito was definitely not prepared to fight a fired up Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy and Carlito put on a fast paced match for the most part with Hardy having control of the opening moments of the match. Carlito tries his best to stay as far away from Hardy as possible. He even rolled out of the ring and confided in Kerwin White a few times. Hardy wasn’t having it. He threw Carlito back into the ring and began to pound him with right and left hands. The crowd was loving it. It’s almost as though he was directing his anger towards Edge and Lita. As the match neared its end, Kerwin White attempted to get involved. Hardy was taken advantage of as a result. Carlito delivered a low blow to Matt while the ref’s back was turned. Carlito then took control of the match until Hardy was able to fight off both Carlito and Kerwin White. As White was brought into the ring by Matt Hardy, Tajiri came from the back and quickly disposed of Kerwin to the outside. Hardy then set Carlito up for the ‘Twist of Fate’ even though the referee was down. But from the back came the ‘Problem Solver’ Tyson Tomko. He broke up the hold and assaulted Hardy from behind nailing him with a Big Boot to the back of the head. This allowed Carlito to make the cover for the win as the referee finally came to his senses.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Carlito

After the match, Tajiri and Kerwin White fought into the crowd and eventually disappeared while Tyson Tomko continued the assault on the fallen Matt Hardy.

JR, the King, and Coach analyzed the events that just took place much to the displeasure of JR.

The camera now cuts to the backstage area where we see the Hurricane and Rosey preparing for their huge World Tag Team title defense tonight. The Hurricane expresses doubt at their chances tonight now that Super Stacy is on SmackDown! The Big Show and Shelton Benjamin then enter the scene and reassure the tag champs that they have their backs tonight against Snitsky and Master.

JR, the King, and Coach then promote Unforgiven by announcing the 4 matches that have been signed so far: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship

Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels II

    Eugene vs. Chris Jericho

    Carlito’s Intercontinental Championship Open Call

We see Snitsky and Chris Masters head to the ring…

JR: The World Tag Team Titles on the line next on RAW!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

    World Tag Team Championship-

The Justice League © vs. Snitsky and ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters

This match was a total squash with little offense from the champ’s side of things. Snitsky and Masters totally dominated the Hurricane and neutralized Rosey when the opportunity arose. It was almost as if the ‘super powers’ of the Justice League were drained right out of them as the match progressed. Snitsky and Masters grounded the Hurricane for the most part, keeping him from tagging in his partner Rosey. The Hurricane didn’t even manage to tag in Rosey once. The match ultimately ended when Snitsky gave the Hurricane a Powerbomb and proceeded to knock Rosey off of the apron with a big boot. He then tagged in Chris Masters who applied the ‘Masterlock’ to an already exhausted Hurricane. His energy was drained so fast, it was like Superman standing in the same area as Kryptonite. The ref had no choice but to call for the bell. Snitsky and Chris Masters were crowned the new World Tag Team Champions.

Winners and NEW World Tag Team Champions: Snitsky and ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters

After the match, the new champs disposed of the Justice League and rose their new belts in the air, much to the displeasure of the sold out crowd. As the new champs celebrated, the Big Show and Shelton Benjamin slowly walked down the ramp to aid the fallen Justice League. As a result, an intense stare down and insult trading took place between Snitsky, Master, Show, and Shelton.

The camera cuts to the back where we see Edge and Lita heading to the ring it looks when a pumped up Tyson Tomko enters the scene.

Tomko: Edge, did you see what I did to Matt Hardy earlier tonight? What did you think when you saw his feeble, lifeless little body laid out in the center of the ring?

Edge: (grinning) Tyson Tomko, that’s what I pay you for. Matt Hardy was a problem, and I think he was just solved. Good going out there man.

Tomko: Hardy would be a fool to even still be in the arena tonight. But if he is, he won’t be a problem.

Edge: Now that’s what I like to hear, come on, I’ve got a match up next.

The three buddy up and head to the ring together…

JR: Edge and John Cena face off in a non-title match and it’s next!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to the tune of Edge’s theme music. He makes his way to the ring accompanied by Lita and his new “Problem Solver” Tyson Tomko.

As everyone awaits the music of WWE champion John Cena to hit, the arena is shocked to hear that of number one contender Kurt Angle’s music. Angle steps out onto the ramp to the chant of “You Suck” from the audience. He grins and then joins the RAW announce team much to everyone’s surprise.

After a short pause, the WWE Champion John Cena’s music hits and he makes his first appearance of the night. He charismatically makes his way down the aisle and to the ring, interacting with fans all the way down.

    Singles Match- Nontitle

    Edge vs. John Cena

This was clearly one of the better matches of the night. It seemed as though the crowd was anticipating this match from the start of the show. The match was clearly back and forth for the most part, with Cena getting the best of Edge after delivering his trademark hip toss take down. The crowd was pumped and popped for Cena almost after every move. There was a brief commercial in between the action and Edge took control from that point on. Cena eventually fights out of a sleeper hold applied by Edge during the break. He delivered several back elbows to the gut of Edge which really got the crowd on his side. Edge was then sent off the ropes and clotheslined to the outside. Cena was pumped now. Tyson Tomko stepped onto the apron to distract Cena as the ref began a 10 count on Edge. Tomko was brought into the ring by the WWE Champion and was met with several right hands. Edge then quickly re-entered the ring and broke up the fight. Cena wouldn’t let up, he fought Edge off and then ducked a Big Boot attempt from Tomko. He then delivered a powerful ‘F-U’ to the hoss and disposed of him to the floor below. This short distraction allowed Edge to nail Cena with the Spear as he turned back around. Both men were down and out. The ref started his 10 count as Lita cheered her husband on from the outside. Meanwhile, Kurt Angle took cheap shots at Cena throughout the match. Edge is first to his feet at 6. He looks to put the champ away with his trademark ‘Egde-uh-Cution.’Just as he grabs for Cena, the lights go out and a promo appears on the titan tron. It again refers to Unfogiven and is meant for Edge and Lita. A fiery explosion occurs at the top of the ramp and on the four ring posts surrounding the ring. When the lights return, Lita is now where to be seen. This distracts Edge allowing John Cena to recover and deliver and ‘F-U’ to the puzzled challenger. The ref counts 1, 2, 3, and the WWE Champion John Cena gets the victory over Edge in a very hard fought match.

    Winner by pinfall: John Cena

After the match, Kurt Angle is infuriated by the outcome of the main event. He rushes to the ring and attempts to blindside the champion from behind. Cena is prepared this time for the attack and he fights Angle off. He delivers the Five Knuckle Shuffle to the Olympic Gold Medalist before disposing him to the floor below with a clothesline. Cena’s music hits and he celebrates his victory to the delight of the fans as Kurt Angle and Eric Bischoff retreat to the back.

JR: John Cena does it again, what a victory over Edge in a match that was full of bizarre happenings! The champ is STILL here and the road to Unforgiven gets just a little bit clearer!

    END SHOW

The WWE and Chris Jericho have been in negotiations dating back before WWE SummerSlam that would allow Y2J to remain on RAW through RAW's upcoming pay per view Unforgiven. With that said, Y2J will have to put his tour with Fozzy on hold for another 2 weeks as he is in a program involving Eugene.

No one is sure when Y2J will return from touring with his rock band, but he has reassured management that he will indeed continue on with World Wrestling Entertainment at the end of his hiatus.

    WWE RAW –August 29, 2005

    Tampa Bay, Florida

The RAW intro and music plays cutting to the sold out arena in Tampa, Florida. The pyro explodes as the crowd erupts…

JR: Monday Night RAW invades Tampa, Florida just one week after the marquee event of the Summer! Jim Ross, with The Coach and The King, welcome you to another action-packed broadcast of Monday Night RAW!

King: That’s right JR, and let me tell you, if tonight ends in any way as it did last Monday night, we may be seeing a new WWE champion in very near future.

Coach: I couldn’t agree with you more King. And I have very good reason to believe the very near future isn’t far away for the chump John Cena.

JR: I cannot argue that guys. Just moments after defending his WWE championship in a No Disqualification match for the second night in a row, WWE champion John Cena was blindsided by Kurt Angle who was attempting to send the fallen champ a very clear message.

King: That message was sent JR, Kurt Angle wants to be the next WWE champion.

A video is shown re-capping Cena’s victory over Chris Jericho and the eventual attack by a very aggressive Kurt Angle last week on RAW…

At the conclusion of the video, the camera changes to GM Eric Bischoff’s office where he is apparently on a cell phone when a jubilant Kurt Angle enters with all smiles…

Bischoff: So YOU will be here tonight? Great, I cant wait…

    Kurt enters…

Bischoff: Oh look who it is…how ya doin’ Kurt?

Angle: Man Mr. Bischoff, I couldn’t be any better. I’ve got my gold medals back and now that you’re naming me the new #1 Contender for the WWE championship, I feel like I’m on top of the world!

Bischoff: Well Kurt, you deserve it. I think it’s time you shine and take the spotlight away from that thug Cena!

Angle: (disgusted) You’re damn right it is. I will be a 5-time WWE champion and John Cena can’t do a damn thing about it!

Bischoff: That’s what I want to hear. You see, Chris Jericho couldn’t get it done two nights in a row and I realized it’s time for me to move on. I trust that you can get it done Kurt.

Angle: You can count on it Mr. Bischoff…John Cena’s title reign on RAW is officially over.

Bischoff: (grinning) Speaking of Cena, it would be just like him to rush into my office and try to attack you from behind like a cowardly thug….

Just as Bischoff finishes that statement, an infuriated John Cena burst through the door of Bischoff’s office and lunges at Angle sending them both onto a couch where they lay punches back and forth.

Bischoff: Security, security! Damnit, somebody get in here!

A heap of security guards and road agents rush into the office and pull Cena off of the stunned Olympic Gold Medalist.

Bischoff: Damn you Cena! Get him out of here!

Cena and Angle eye each other down as the security guards struggle to keep the champ under control.

Angle: You’re nothing but a thug Cena! That’s right, get him out of here…

    Cena: This ain’t over Kurt.!

Cena gives in and security escorts him out of the office…

    Bischoff: Are you alright Kurt?

Angle: (fixing himself up) I’m fine, I just want to lay my hands back on that no good punk!

Bischoff: Don’t worry Kurt, it takes a cowardly thug to attack someone from behind. But on September 18 in Oklahoma City, you will get your chance at redemption. Mark your calendar Kurt, because at Unforgiven, you will finally be able to rid RAW of John Cena and gain the WWE title in the process!

Kurt Angle looks toward the sky sporting a sick and callous grin on his face…

Bischoff: (contd.) Now I’m gonna make sure they kicked that punk out of my building!

Bischoff leaves as Angle continues to grin like a predator stalking its prey.

Coach: You heard it first JR, Kurt Angle will finally rid RAW of John Cena and his so-called title reign at Unforgiven in just 2 weeks!

JR: You damn right I heard it Coach, but Kurt Angle got everything he deserved moments ago. Cena deserves retribution for what the Olympic Gold Medalist did to him just last week, and I hope he gets it!

Up next is a singles match in which the Big Show will take on Snitksy.

    Singles Match-

    Big Show vs. Snitsky

This is a typical big-man style match where the crowd was pretty much dead throughout. Show did receive a few pops from the arena. As Show was preparing to deliver his Chokeslam finishing maneuver to a staggering Snitsky, Snitsky’s partner Chris Masters runs down to the ring and jumps up on the apron distracting the referee Jack Doan. Show sees Masters and drops Snitsky from the Chokeslam position. Show travels to the apron and grabs Masters. This allows Snitsky to head to the outside and grab a steel chair from ring announcer Lillian Garcia. The ref is still focused on the Masters/Show situation when Snitsky re-enters the ring and delivers a chair shot to the back of the Big Show. The ref calls for the bell rendering Big Show the winner via DQ. The chair shot doesn’t seem to phase Show the least bit. He turns to Snitsky. Masters enters the ring and attacks Show from behind ending in yet another chair shot and Masters applying his ‘MasterLock’ to the fallen giant. Just as the 2 on 1 attack begins to escalate, Shelton Benjamin runs down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. Snitksy and Masters see Shelton and the two escape through the crowd. Shelton makes the save but many wonder if it was too little too late.

Winner via DQ: The Big Show

    Overall: 58 %

The camera immediately cuts to the backstage scene where GM Eric Bischoff is chasing down behind the security guards who are still trying to restrain John Cena. Cena and Bischoff are mouthing profanities and insults to each other as the scene plays on…

Bischoff: How does it feel Cena? How does it feel to be restrained by a higher authority? Get used to it, because if you ever pull a stunt like that again, I will suspend your ass for good! Now get him out of my building, your night here is officially over CHAMP!

Cena: Oh, you think you’re funny B****off? Laugh it up now because the Champ is STILL here and I ain’t goin no where!

The security guards finally escort Cena to the outside of the arena without much struggle.

JR: That evil, cold General Manager of ours has once again found a way to exile John Cena from RAW!

Coach: I applaud our General Manager for making the right decision tonight JR!

JR: I bet you do Coach…the Champ is NOT here, he has been banned from the arena for the night. Tempers are flaring here in Tampa and the night has just kicked off!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to a scene in the backstage area. We see Kerwin White playing on a setup crochet set. There are a few staff members and divas looking in on his solo game. All of a sudden WWE Intercontinental Champion Carlito walks in on Kerwin holding a green apple and his title belt close by.

    Carlito: Umm…excuse me?

    Kerwin initially ignores Carlito…

Carlito: (contd.) What is going on here?

Kerwin lies his crochet mallet down and now faces Carlito with a ear to ear smile on his face…

Carlito: Oh, you’re Chavo Guerrero right?

    Kerwin’s smile fades to a frown immediately…

Carlito: (contd.) Yeah, I remember you from SmackDown, you used to lie, cheat, and steal right?

Kerwin: I have no idea what you are talking about, my name is Kerwin WHITE and I was happily enjoying a game of crochet before you interrupted me.

Carlito: Hey, don’t mind Carlito. Carlito has a match next for my Intercontinental championship and I was just heading to the ring….until I saw this…and you. Now crochet and your wardrobe, that’s not cool.

Kerwin: Well people of MY race happen to enjoy an occasional game of crochet. And what’s wrong with what I’m wearing?

Kerwin looks at his clothing confused as if he finds nothing wrong with tight fit slacks, a collar shirt, and a sweater wrapped neatly around his neck. Carlito takes a bit of his apple and snickers…

Carlito: You have a lot to learn my friend. Why don’t you follow Carlito to the ring…Carlito is gonna show you how to be cool.

Carlito laughs yet again before turning and walking towards the ring entrance…Kerwin once again checks his clothing before looking back at his crochet set and racing down behind Carlito…

Kerwin: For the last time, it’s Kerwin WHITE…Hey wait up!

The crowd shares a laugh as the segment ends.

JR: That Kerwin White definitely doesn’t know how to be cool.

Coach: I’m sure you’d be the expert at that JR.

King: Don’t worry about Chavo…I mean Kerwin White, Carlito will definitely show him the way to be cool.

On the big screen plays an advertisement for WWE Unforgiven, a RAW brand pay per view coming to the Ford Center in Oklahoma City on September 18. JR, King, and the Coach hype the event up by plugging the already announced WWE title match between John Cena and Kurt Angle.

JR: Carlito defends his Intercontinental title in “Carlito’s Open Call” coming up next. Who will step up to the challenge this week?!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns as Carlito is accompanied by Kerwin White to the ring…They both enter and a microphone is handed to the Intercontinental champion…

Carlito: Carlito would like to welcome everybody to the second week of “Carlito’s Intercontinental Championship Open Call.” Now last week Carlito proved to the world that RAW has no competition and none of which are worthy of the Intercontinental Championship. Now Carlito would like to welcome his next challenger to the ring…

Kerwin White and Carlito bicker back and forth as they await Carlito’s next opponent…And in no time, the music of Tajiri hits and he staggers to the ring receiving a decent reaction from the Tampa crowd…Tajiri by the way is still recovering from a vicious post-match attack from Edge last week and his moving very slowly as it is.

Carlito and Kerwin both share a laugh as Tajiri scans down his opponent and new friend before entering the ring.

    “Carlito’s Intercontinental Championship Open Call”-

Carlito w/ Kerwin White vs. Tajiri

This is a match that gets off to a relatively quick start. The match even seems to interest the crowd a bit. Carlito is surprised with Tajiri’s ability to match him move for move despite almost being impaled last week by Edge. Carlito tries to pick up the pace a bit but Tajiri doesn’t let up. After receiving a lighting-fast back elbow, the champion Carlito rolls to the outside as though he’s had enough of Tajiri for one night. The ref starts his 10 count as Carlito confides in Kerwin White to give him a sign of encouragement. The ref reaches 5 when Carlito decides to slowly re-enter the ring. Upon re-entering, Carlito delivers a thumb to the eye of the unsuspecting challenger. Referee Chad Patton warns the champ of a possible disqualification, but Carlito shrugs it off and smirks in his face. Carlito takes full control from this point on, grounding Tajiri and minimizing his thunderous kicks. Towards the end of the match, Tajiri mounts yet another comeback. He fires back several martial arts kicks and even nails Carlito with his trademark springboard back elbow. This induces a slight pop out of the crowd as the current I.C. champion is left dazed and confused in the ring. Tajiri sets Carlito up for the ‘Tarantula’ but suddenly Kerwin White steps onto the apron. He distracts the referee and eventually Tajiri leaves Carlito to focus on Kerwin. Tajiri delivers a thrust kick to the ribs of Kerwin White sending him off of the apron and to the floor below. This allows Carlito to recover and abruptly deliver a blatant low blow to the challenger while Chad Patton attended to the fallen Kerwin White. Tajiri then turns around and Carlito delivers his “Cool Breaker” to end all of Tajiri’s misery. Chad Patton turns to see Carlito pinning the fallen challenger in which case he executes the 3 count to give Carlito the victory. Carlito escapes with his Intercontinental title with help from his “new friend” and with help from his “old friend,” the low blow.

Winner and still WWE Intercontinental Champion: Carlito

    OVERALL: 70.3%

After the match, Carlito disposes of his former opponent and snatches a microphone from Lillian Garcia.

Carlito: (winded and a bit frustrated) Heh. Carlito does it again…

Kerwin White staggers in to the ring to congratulate Carlito…

Carlito: (contd.) That’s right, get in here and stand next to Carlito. As Carlito said last week, there is no competition here on RAW and Carlito just proved it yet again.

Kerwin White smiles and offers a congratulatory handshake to the Carlito…

Carlito chuckles and fakes taking a bite out of his apple. Instead, he shines the apple off and hands it to Kerwin much to his surprise and delight.

Carlito: Thank you, thank you Chavo. Now it’s time to teach you your first lesson.

Carlito motions for Kerwin to take a bite out of his apple and spit it in the face of the fallen Tajiri as he staggers out of the ring. Kerwin initially refuses but eventually gives in, all smiles. Kerwin takes a mini bite out of his apple, chews, and spits it into the face of Tajiri surely showing that he is new at this.

Carlito: Not bad, not bad…but let me show you how it’s really done.

Carlito takes the apple from Kerwin and finds an open spot to take a bite out of. Carlito takes a much larger chunk out of the apple than Kerwin did, chews it and viciously spits it into the face of Tajiri.

Kerwin White grabs the mic from Carlito with utter excitement…

Carlito: Now that, that was cool.

Carlito and Kerwin share a laugh before the champs music hits and the two leave the ring for the back.

Coach: Carlito is still Intercontinental champion and he has taken young Kerwin White under his wing.

JR: That’s right Coach, Carlito escapes again and moves on to defend his title next week!

The camera cuts to the backstage area where we see a well-dressed ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels heading towards what seems to be the ring with a very discerning grin on his face.

The scene changes to the backstage area where we see a visibly livid Chris Jericho storming through the halls knocking things down left and right…Suddenly, RAW GM Eric Bischoff enters the scene and confront the infuriated former #1 contender…

Bischoff: Hey, hey! Hold it there Jericho! Calm down for just a moment.

Y2J: Calm down, calm down Eric?

Bischoff: Yes, calm down. Now what seems to be on your mind this evening?

Y2J: Damnit Eric, I lost to a street thug champion two nights in a row, that’s what’s on my mind. And now you go out and name Kurt Angle the new #1 contender, I thought we had a connection going Eric?

Bischoff: We did Chris and we still do. But you did lose to Cena two nights in a row and I just feel it’s time we take a different approach at getting rid of that thug. Don’t worry, you will get your chance at glory again. The new #1 contender Kurt Angle will get rid of Cena and you will be sitting back and enjoying the show before it’s your time again.

Y2J: I hate John Cena Mr. Bischoff, I hate him with a passion and I will do ANYTHING to help you get rid of him. I was the first ever Undisputed champion of the WWE and I don’t deserve to play second-fiddle to anyone much less a wannabe WWE champion!

Bischoff: You are exactly right Jericho. But as for tonight, I see you have a lot on your mind and I want to help you get rid of all of the anger that’s boiling inside of you right now. You see, tonight I had originally scheduled a HUGE tag team Main Event, but thanks to Cena’s “heroic” performance, he’s banned from the arena tonight.

Jericho gives off a sly smile…

Bischoff: (contd.) Well I guess you know what that means. Instead of a tag match, it will now be a HANDICAP match. Chris, you will team with our Olympic Hero Kurt Angle and new #1 contender to take on EUGENE.

Y2J: Eric, you are still a creative genius. Tonight, I’m gonna prove to the world that losing to Cena was a fluke. I will personally make Eugene wish he was just smart enough to leave the arena before our match…But who am I kidding, we all know he isn’t.

Bischoff and Jericho share a laugh and walk off together as the scene fades…

JR: A HUGE main event announced for later tonight, but I don’t think it’s gonna bode well for Eugene!

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

RAW returns to the familiar theme of the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels. He charismatically makes his way to the ring to a smattering of boos from the Tampa crowd…He enters the ring equipped with a smile as he takes a mic from ring announcer Lillian Garcia.

HBK: (unusually pleased) Tampa, Tampa, Tampa…Man it’s good to be back in the “Sunshine State” of Florida! (boos) And it’s good to finally be in the place that Hulk Hogan calls home. Speaking of Hulk Hogan, I just want to break the news and let you know that he will not be here tonight. That’s right, he’s probably at home filming more material for his horrid reality show “Hogan Knows Best.” You can boo ole’ HBK all you want, but the truth is, your beloved Hulk Hogan can’t even show up to a show in his hometown. And all you people think he cares about the fans? You’ve got a lot to learn I tell ya. Hogan is all about himself and has been ever since he got the big push from Vince McMahon. Well I vowed to everyone out there that I would avenge my loss to Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam and I like to keep my promises, unlike a certain WWE Hall of Famer that so many people adore. The real reason HBK is out here is to expose Hulk Hogan for what he his, a man that puts his ego and love of the spotlight before his so called Hulk-A-Maniacs. Hulk Hogan is a fraud! I hate to be the one to break the news, but it irks me to see all you people pack arenas to see a man who puts on an act while in front of a camera and spits in your face out in the street. You see, I have unearthed a video package of Hulk Hogan sticking it to all the Hulk-A-Maniacs that have made him who he is today. Take a look, you WON’T be surprised.

A visibly bogus video showing HBK disguised as Hulk Hogan hits the big screen. It splits between footage of the real Hulk Hogan celebrating on camera in the middle to the ring to footage of HBK neglecting fans and refusing to sign autographs. It also contains a few cheap shots at Hogan’s reality TV show with actors playing his family.

The crowd boos as the video concludes. HBK has a big grin on his face as a result.

HBK: (chuckling) You see guys, that’s the “REAL” Hulk Hogan. That there was real footage of Hulk Hogan blowing off fans just like you. HBK doesn’t sugarcoat things, I tell it like it is, and you just witnessed the truth, and the truth HURTS!

As HBK finished his last sentence, Hulk Hogan suddenly appears on the screen from his home just up the road in Tampa to finally shut the ‘Showstopper’ up.

Hogan: Now you looka here brother, I’m tired of sitting here listening to you run your mouth back and forth about the ‘Hulkster’ behind his back. Well, I’m here to defend myself and my Hulk-A-Maniacs here in my hometown of Tampa! (cheers) Hulk Hogan is not the fraud. No, Shawn Michaels is the fraud. Everybody knows that brother. YOU were the one that screwed Bret Hart out of the WWE title not too long ago brother!

HBK: (infuriated) And I’d do it again.

Hogan: I beat you at SummerSlam HBK and I will not back down from another challenge. You vowed to avenge your loss to me at SummerSlam by any means last week. Well, my calendar is free on September 18th brother! If you want Hogan/HBK II, Unforgiven is where it’ll happen. What do you say Shawn?

HBK: Enough of your crowd pleasing Hogan. If you want the ‘Showstopper’ Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven, then you’ve got him. But believe me when I say this, I will not disappoint. My loss at SummerSlam will be just a memory when I get done with you Hogan. This time the sequel will outdo the original.

Hogan: Let me tell you this brother, Unforgiven will be no different than SummerSlam. Hulk-A-Mania will again rise above the occasion. So whatcha’ gonna do HBK, whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan and the true Hulk-A-Maniacs run wild on you?

HBK: No Hogan, whatcha’ gonna do when HBK and the whole world reveals you for who you really are?

HBK disgustedly drops the mic and stares Hogan down on the big screen as his music plays on the background…

JR: A legendary showdown will take place again at Unforgiven.!

Coach: That’s right JR, and HBK will reveal how much of a fraud Hulk Hogan really is!

The camera cuts to the backstage interview area where we see Edge and Lita prepare for an interview with Todd Grisham…

Todd: I’m here with Edge and his lovely wife Lita. But Edge, I just want to ask you about that cryptic message as JR so truthfully put it last week. What was going through your mind that very moment?

Edge: I can’t believe they pay you to ask these extremely stupid questions TODD! You wanna know how I feel about that so-called mysterious message that popped up last week? Well isn’t it obvious TODD, or are you too blind to see it? That stunt was obviously one conducted by Matt Hardy. Who the hell else would try to “put fear into my eyes” by spoofing up some lame Kane promo?

Todd: Well, maybe it really was Kane…

Edge: (striking back) Shut up Todd, I didn’t ask you. Now if Matt Hardy wants to prepare fake promos then more power to him, he still can’t and will never beat me in any capacity. I am clearly on the rise here while he struggles to beat people like Rob Conway week in a week out. He is nothing now. I have all I could ever want, a beautiful wife…

Edge and Lita smile sickly and then share a short kiss…

Edge: (contd.) and this right here. This briefcase contains my WWE Title shot which I won at WrestleMania. What does Matt Hardy have, nothing but a bruised ego and a bruised face, courtesy of Edge!

And out of nowhere comes Matt Hardy interrupting the interview and attacking Edge from behind. Lita screams for help as referees and road agents asses the situation. Matt Hardy ends the brawl by throwing Edge into the steel fixtures surrounding the area. He then screams profanities at Edge as the fight is broken up.

Meanwhile…on the little screen in the interview area, a fiery message hypes a potential return at Unforgiven.

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

    Singles Match-

Shelton Benjamin vs. Chris Masters w/ Gene Snitsky

This was a pretty lame match as far as the crowd was concerned. Shelton showed off all his skills while Masters used brute force to ground the former NCAA Champion. The match came to an end when Snitsky and Masters double-teamed an exhausted Shelton after disposing the referee. Suddenly, a bruised and battered Big Show rushes to the ring from the trainer’s room to make the save. He easily disposes of Masters and Snitsky. He then aids the fallen Benjamin as his two enemies head up the ramp while staring each other down.

    Winner via DQ: Shelton Banjamin

    OVERALL: 71.3 %

The camera cuts to the backstage area where we see Eugene, alone, walking to the ring with a look of pure fear.

We then see Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho heading to the ring together in anticipation for the Main Event…

JR: The Main Event is next, will Eugene survive?

    *COMMERCIAL BREAK*

    Handicap Match-

Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho vs. Eugene

The crowd was ready for this one although it seemed as though no one was on Eugene’s side. The Tampa crowd cheered when Y2J and Angle got the upper-hand during this match. Eugene was pretty much dominated throughout the match and never really mounted a comeback. The end of the match saw Y2J and Eugene battle it out until referee Mike Chioda was knocked to the ground. This allowed Kurt Angle to join in and attack Eugene. A double-team ensued. Angle delivered his ‘ANGLE SLAM’ while Y2J locked in the ‘WALLS of JERICHO.’ Eugene screamed in pain. All of a sudden, WWE Champion John Cena’s music hits and he runs in through the crowd to a huge ovation. Cena fights both men off before knocking Kurt Angle to the floor below. He then nails Y2J with the ‘FU’ before taking it to Kurt Angle in the crowd. Eugene then staggers to a pin in the middle of the ring just as the ref regains himself. 1…2…3. Eugene picks up the pinfall victory with help from his friend John Cena.

The fight between Cena and Angle continue through the crowd until they reach a hallway deep within the arena. There the two fight back and forth until Kurt Angle delivers a low blow to the champ. He then takes Cena’s WWE title belt and delivers a shot to the head of the champion. Angle spits profanities at Cena before executing the ‘ANGLE LOCK’ as the camera fades to black ending the show.
