What You Didn't See on RAW, Backstage Problems!

PWI sources say that the Torrie Wilson/Alicia Webb match was cut short due to Alicia being a lead ass. We have just learned of the tensions between Alicia and Torrie and from what we hear it isn't good. On her website and many interviews, Alicia has criticized Torrie for being nothing but eye candy (hah, like she isn't herself) and has repeatedly stated that her sudden interest in wanting to learn how to wrestle is an excuse not to get fired. One wrestler says "Management's decision to make Alicia the Women's Champion last year was the worst decision in the world."

When Alicia learned that she was to job to Torrie prior to making her entrance, she worked very stiffly and no-sold the match with Torrie. Jack Doan was told to inform Torrie to end the match as soon as possible. The brawl between Torrie and Alicia was legit. It wouldn't surprise us if Alicia was gone by the end of the month.

Keeping with the trend of backstage problems, Viscera, for the second time in less than two weeks was late to a house show. Management fined him the last time to deter him from making the same mistake, yesterday he did it again and was suspended for a week. Juventud Guerrera was also late to the show, but only received a warning.

Chavo Guerrero was involved in a fight with Hardcore Holly and Al Snow; Mark Jindrak and Nunzio got into backstage as well. Normally the brands are kept separate, but because of the recent hectic touring schedule, WWE officials thought it would be a good time for wrestlers to catch up. Obviously they made a bad mistake. Chavo and Nunzio have been making some unflattering comments about their co-workers during some radio shows over the past few weeks and when confronted, proceeded to throw punches. All men are expected to be fined heavily.

    ****RAW****

JR: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Monday Night RAW!!!!! I am Jim Ross. Joining me are my broadcasting partners Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jonathan Coachman. Tonights RAW is guaranteed to be a great one.

Coach: The finals of the Kurt Angle/AJ Styles Challenge are tonight, with each man pulling double duty. Kurt Angle will square off against The Big Show, and then later on go up against John Cena.

JR: AJ Styles, will take on Edge, then Gene Snitsky. Now it isn’t unheard of for wrestlers to perform in two sometimes three matches, but this will be AJ’s first time since joining the WWE back in November.

King: The match I’m looking forward to tonight is Torrie Wilson and Alicia Webb. These two women will put on a great show….maybe someone will let a puppy slip.

Coach: Grow up King. This isn’t just about puppies. Alicia Webb feels that Torrie disrespected her and Torrie now needs to be put in her place.

JR: Well, we’ll see if Alicia will do just that and put Torrie in her place.

    Singles Match

Torrie Wilson v. Alicia Webb (aka Ryan Shamrock)

……..What can I say? Torrie did the best she could, but with Alicia not cooperating there’s only so much she could go. Alicia no-sold everything Torrie did and made Torrie look a complete mess in the ring. Webb botched a hurricanranna on Torrie. Referee Jack Doan checks on Torrie and whispers something in her ear. Torrie gets back up and hits a hard backdrop on Webb. Torrie pins her and Doan hits a very, very fast three count. After the match Alicia Webb begins arguing with Doan and Torrie. Alicia punches Torrie in the face. Road agents run down and escort Alicia backstage. RAW cuts to an emergency commercial break.

    Overall Rating = C-

    --

JR: Welcome back to RAW folks. For those that didn’t see what just happened, there was an altercation between Torrie Wilson and Alicia Webb. Ms. Webb wasn’t too happy that Torrie defeated her and assaulted Torrie after the match. This is highly uncharacteristic for a diva.

King: Everyone gets a little angry sometimes. Alicia need to vent her frustration. All’s good to me!

Coach: I just received word that AJ Styles has just entered the arena. Can we get a camera back there?

    --

    The Phenom Arrives

[AJ Styles is shown walking from his truck into the locker room area. Todd Grisham runs up to meet with AJ.]

Todd: AJ! AJ! Can I have a word with you?

    AJ: Umm….Todd right?

    Todd: Yes. I am.

AJ: Under normal circumstances, I’d speak to you right now Todd but I can’t. I’m in the zone. I’m focused. It’s a “do or die” week for me. Catch ya later!

[AJ is shown walking fast to his locker room shedding off his street clothes on his way.]

[RAW goes to a commercial break]

    Overall Rating = C+

Road Agent Note: Unfortunately, this segment had to contend with a restless crowd. The women’s match really brought the crowd down.

    Cena Gets Beat Down

[When RAW comes back to from its break Cena and Lita are talking backstage.]

Lita: I just want to let you know Cena, that I hope Kurt Angle kicks your ass tonight. I am so glad that someone other than you, even if it is Chris Jericho, is the WWE Champion. You didn’t’ deserve to be champion, especially after what you did to me.

    Cena: Are you done now?

Lita: No I’m not done. Ugh, you are so….so…..

Cena: Hot. I am so hot. That’s what you wanted to say right? You want me Lita. You’ve wanted me ever since I picked you up over my head and accidentally threw you off the stage a few months back.

Lita: Accident? You F-U’d me off the stage! That was no damn accident!

Cena: Naw you’re right. I was lying. But still though, it happened back in November. It’s March now. It’s the big 06! Let it go. But….ever since that incident you’ve been hung up on me. What’s up with that Lita? You want some? The sooner you get over Edge the better. I’d make you feel like a real woman. We could have a few good nights together….then I’d end it. My pops always said you can’t turn a whore in a housewife.

[Cena starts laughing and Lita slaps him. He backs her into the corner and from out of nowhere Edge spears Cena. Cena battles back and their fight spills into a bigger hallway. Both men throw each other into tables and up against the wall. Edge slams Cena through a table. Officials and a bunch of unknown wrestlers break them apart while Cena and Edge begin screaming at each other on the top of their lungs.]

    Overall Rating = B

JR: Well folks we’ve gotten off to a pretty explosive start tonight. Already we’ve had Torrie Wilson defeat Alicia Webb.

Coach: Also Edge and John Cena got into an intense brawl for the second week in a row.

King: We still have more to come though JR. Tonight is the finals of the Styles/Angle invitational. Both men will wrestle two opponents tonight. Currently Kurt Angle leads the series 2-1, while AJ is at 2-1.

Coach: Fans will want to know why the score is tied at 2-1 to 2-1. Let the Coach tell the people. At a recent house show in Missouri, our Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle was uncharacteristically defeated by Shawn Michaels.

JR: And AJ Styles defeated Chris Daniels during the house show as well.

    Singles Match

    Styles/Angle Challenge

    Kurt Angle v. Big Show

A pretty quick match. Angle wasn’t really able to get much offense in on the Big Show in the very beginning. After about 8 minutes of Angle getting his ass handed to him, Angle finally manages to take control of the match. Big Show goes for a big boot in the corner. Angle moves and Big Show gets hung up on the ropes. Angle uses this time to take out the legs of Show. Kurt lets Big Show get up, and barely manages to hit an Angle Slam on Big Show. Kurt covers Big Show and gets the win.

    Overall Rating = A

    Singles Match

    Styles/Angle Challenge

    AJ Styles v. Gene Snitsky

Not too bad of a match. Styles was easily overpowered and had to rely on his speed and intelligence to even think about winning. Gene used many power moves and big hard hitting shots to take out AJ.AJ throws Gene in to the ropes and goes for a back body drop, but gets powerbombed instead. Snitsky pins Styles for a two count. Snitsky throws AJ around the ring some more. Styles keeps countering back with kicks and punches to the midsection and legs. Gene grabs AJ’s throat and goes to lift him in a military press, AJ kicks Snitsky right between the legs and hits a modified version of Christian’s unprettier. Styles climb the turnbuckle and hit a moonsault on Snitsky for the win.

    Overall Rating = B-

Road Agent Note: The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. This match benefitted greatly from a hot crowd. Gene Snitsky is improving in Performance skills.

    Austin talks to Bischoff

[Eric Bischoff is backstage talking on his cell phone when Austin walks in.]

Eric: …..let me call you back.

    [Eric closes his phone.]

Eric: How may I help you?

Austin: Have you been watching tonight’s show?

Eric: Yes, of course I have.

Austin: Do you know what’s wrong with tonight’s show?

    Eric: Ummm….nothing’s wrong.

Austin: Yeah, it is. Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn’t have a match. Why is that Eric?

    Eric: Because I had –

Austin: Ah ah. No excuses. Shut up. Listen to Stone Cold.

    Eric: Come on –

Austin: What? Didn’t you hear me tell you to shut up! In case you didn’t, shut up!

    Eric: ……

Austin: Good. Now as I was saying, Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn’t have a match tonight tonight. Why is that? What do you have against me? Do you like not like me? Do you just not give a damn about Stone Cold.

    Eric: ………

    Austin: Speak!

Eric: ……I didn’t have anyone for you tonight.

Austin: Right. Well this is what’s gonna happen. Next week, live from Stone Cold’s home state of Texas, I’m going to be a guest on Carlito’s Cabana. Then….Stone Cold’s gonna lace up his boots and team up with the Natural Born Thrillers, against Ric Flair, Chris Masters and Carlito.

Eric: Why do you want to be a guest on the Cabana?

Austin: Because Stone Cold has been hearing rumblings that the little apple eatin bastard has been talking trash about Stone Cold after I whipped his and Matt Morgan’s ass. Now…you’re gonna make that happen for me right?

    Eric: Ummm….see Steve I-

Austin: What? I didn’t ask you to give me a story, it’s simple. Yes or no.

Eric: *Sigh* Yes. Next week on RAW, you, Stone Cold Steve Austin will team up with the Natural Born Thrillers and face Carlito, Chris Masters and Ric Flair in a six man tag-team match. You happy?

    Austin: ………..

[Austin turns and walks out of Bischoff’s office. Eric picks up his phone again, as soon as he begins talking, Austin flings the door back open and flips Bischoff off.]

    Singles Match

    Styles/Angle Challenge Final Match

    Kurt Angle v. John Cena

Angle was the star of the match. Angle and Cena stare at each other face to face while the announcers comment that this is the first time that Kurt Angle and John Cena have faced off since 2003. Angle starts the match off with a chain of amateur wrestling maneuvers and submission holds. John Cena is unable to keep up with the chain and looks very weak in the ring. Angle arm drags Cena and goes for another series. Cena kicks Angle hard in the knee, and then begins brawling with him. Angle stops the brawl after clotheslining Cena and begins chain wrestling him again. Cena’s frustrations begin to show after he hits a stiff clothesline on Angle. Kurt goes for a German Suplex, Cena reverses it and hits the throwback on Angle for a two count. Cena begins to take control of the match when Edge walks out onstage. He stares at Cena, causing Cena to break his concentration. Angle capitalizes on the distraction and hits a release German Suplex on Cena. Angle drops his straps down and begins stalking Cena for the Angle Slam. Styles runs in from the crowd and hits a major face plant on Angle while the ref is tending to Cena. Styles rolls out of the ring and hides on the side. Cena crawls over to Kurt, 1…2….3!!

[styles starts to taunt Angle outside of the ring. Angle gets mad and begins to chase Styles. AJ hops over the barricade and runs through the crowd with Kurt in tow. Edge and Cena exchange words while RAW goes to commercial.]

Road Agent Note: John Cena did not look good in this match. This match lifted the crowd.

[When RAW comes back from commercial, Chris Jericho is in the ring for his talk show segment.]

Jericho: Welcome to…the HIGH LITE REEL!!!!!!

[The pyros go off on the turnbuckles.]

Jericho: As usual, I am your host, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, your WWE Champion, “Y2J” Chris Jericho!! You know I was sitting at home the other night thinking, how bad is that you all have to see Stephanie McMahon’s ugly mug every week. I know it’s bad, and forgive me for what I’m about to do. At this time please welcome the loose…I mean “lovely” Stephanie McMahon and Ric Flair!

[Evolution’s theme music plays. After many many rounds of loud boos, Ric Flair and Stephanie come down to the ring.]

Jericho: Wow. My how the great have fallen. The legendary Ric Flair, a sixteen time world champion, now the lapdog for Triple H and his bitch. How does it feel to have hit the bottom?

Flair: First off boy, Ric Flair hasn’t fallen. I am still, WOO! The jet flyin, limousine ridin, wheelin dealin, kiss stealin, son of a gun! And the only one who was the bottom, was your wife last night. All niiiiiiiiight long. WOO!

Jericho: Oh come on Ric. How elementary is that? Besides, that’s nasty. I doubt my wife would go for an old guy with man breasts like you. Ha, my wife’s not like Stephanie.

Stephanie: Where do you get off calling me a slut?

Jericho: I don’t think I get off with you anywhere Steph.

Stephanie: You have some nerve. You know what, my husband is going to beats your ass at WrestleMania. As I’ve said many times before, you don’t deserve to be the WWE Champion. If I had my way I’d strip you of the title. I’m a McMahon. You need to respect me.

Jericho: “My husband’s gonna beat your ass” blah blah blah. Don’t you say anything else that what your husband programs into you Steph? I lost all respect for you the day you re-married Triple H. You are nothing but a tool for Triple H to use to get back on top. He doesn’t love you, he never has and he never will.

[stephanie slaps Chris Jericho. He slaps her back. Flair charges at Jericho but gets tossed over the ropes. While Jericho is yelling at Flair, Stephanie attempts to hit Jericho with a chair. He grabs her hands, then locks her in the Walls of Jericho. Triple H runs down to the ring and gets dropkicked back out. Officials run down and hold Triple H back. Inside the ring Jericho walks back over to Stephanie, but Ric Flair grabs him. Jericho takes him out with a clothesline and locks him in the Walls of Jericho then works his way back to Stephanie. Jericho stares at Triple H, then hits a lionsault on Stephanie before running out of the ring with his title. RAW then goes to commercial.]

[When RAW comes back from commercial, Triple H is shown in the back tending to Stephanie. Hunter tells Flair to ride with Stephanie to the hospital. Triple H then leaves the parking area and walks to Eric’s office. Hunter hears Eric laughing]

    Eric: ….That makes good TV.

    [Hunter bursts into his office.]

    Hunter: You’re responsible for this.

    Eric: What?

Hunter: You’re responsible for this. I told you not to let Stephanie go out there with Flair, but you, you being the “ratings” guy that you are said the fans get what you book. Then on top of that you laugh? You son of a bitch.

Eric: Look Hunter. I know what makes good TV. The history between you, Stephanie and Chris Jericho is classic man. It’s not my fault that Jericho attacked your wife.

Hunter: You’re supposed to be on our side Bischoff. Yet you sent those idiots down to hold me back.

Eric: I’m on no one’s side but my own. I cannot and will not allow you to jeopardize the main event for WrestleMania. That is why I sent out the RAW officials to contain you. Is it my fault you couldn’t get to Jericho before they came down? This is what happens when you put two combustible elements together. Now, before one of us says something that we’ll regret, I think you should leave.

[Hunter glares at Eric, then turns to walk out.]

Eric: Oh Hunter, before you go….you need to remember who runs this show. It’s not the McMahon’s, it’s me, Eric Bischoff. If you want to be on a show run by a McMahon, go to SmackDown.

[Triple H slams Eric Bischoff’s door. The camera then focuses on the commentators.]

    Overall Rating = A+

JR: …….all hell has broken loose on RAW! Eric Bischoff has seemed to have turned his back on Evolution already! So much for that unholy alliance.

King: I didn’t expect this. I don’t like Stephanie very much, but she didn’t deserve to be put in the Walls of Jericho.

Coach: Jericho just raised the stakes in this on-going conflict between he and Triple H. If Hunter had his way, Jericho would be a dead man right now

JR: Well…Stephanie got what she deserved. Coming up now is the main event. If AJ Styles wins he gets to choose the stipulation for his “Money In The Bank II” match against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 22!

Coach: If he loses this match, there is no sudden death, part of the challenge was Styles would beat Kurt’s record. If Styles loses, Kurt wins by default.

King: AJ is in a must win situation.

JR: Kurt can sabotage this match like he did a few weeks ago and cause AJ to lose!

    --

[When RAW comes back from commercial, Shawn Michaels is shown taping up for his match against Chris Masters and Triple H. He grabs for the door, but it flings open and knocks him back. Triple H is standing at the door looking very angry. He begins pounding on HBK in the locker room. He yells at Masters to take out HBK. Hunter gets up and begins banging on Jericho’s door.]

Hunter: Jericho! Jericho! You open up this damn door right now!

[Triple H hits on the door some more before grabbing his sledge hammer.]

Hunter: Jericho! This issue between us is not over! You put your hands on my wife….that was the last straw. Since you won’t come out….I’m gonna hurt everyone you are friends with and/or respect. Pick him up! Pick him up!

[Hunter directs Masters to pick up HBK. Triple H measures up Michaels, then hits him in the stomach with his sledge hammer. While HBK is on the ground, Triple H goes to hit him again when RAW Security comes in and tackles Hunter.]

Eric: What? What in the hell are doing!

Hunter: How’s that for your main event.

Eric: You listen to me! This will not be tolerated on MY show!

Hunter: Michaels was just the way. Blame Jericho for what happened to him.

Eric: I sent Chris home after the Highlite Reel. He’s gone Hunter! You’ve ruined the main event for tonight because you can’t control your damn temper. Security, escort Chris Masters and Mr. Helmsley out of my arena now!

[Eric waits a minute before taking out his cell again.]

Eric: Chris, it’s Eric. I’m advising you not to show up next week. Triple H is in a very, very bad mood and I cannot risk him ruining the main event. This is all your fault. I will deal with you next week.

[Eric continues to talk to Chris Jericho as RAW takes it’s final commercial break.]

    Overall Rating = A

Road Agent Note: This segment benefited greatly from a hot crowd. Chris Masters performed poorly in this segment. The Triple H/Jericho II storyline has been moved forward one stage with this segment. This segment lifted the crowd. Chris Masters is developing better performance skills.

    Singles Match

    Styles/Angle Challenge Final Match

    AJ Styles v. Edge

Both men managed to look very strong during this match. AJ did a good job selling his tiredness. Edge takes down AJ with a spinning heel kick, then pins him, only getting a two count. Edge walks over to the turnbuckle and begins to climb it. AJ crotches Edge onto the buckle, then frankensteiner’s him. Styles pins Edge for a two count. Both men continue to brawl back and forth throughout the rest of the match. Edge eventually gains the upper hand once more after leveling Styles with the Edgecution before falling to the ground with exhaustion. The referee begins his 10 count. While Edge pulls himself up on the referee, Lita climbs into the ring. She goes to hit Styles with a chair, but Cena runs in from the crowd and carries her out of the ring.

Edge sees what’s going on and “accidentally” pulls referee Tim White down in one of the most obvious ref bumps in WWE history. Edge rolls out and chases Cena around the outside of the ring while he’s holding Lita. Kurt runs down and begins fighting with Styles. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, Styles reverses it, Styles goes for the Styles Clash, Kurt throws Styles out of it, Angle goes for the Ankle Lock, Styles turns out of it, Kurt runs at Styles, AJ slips between his legs, and Angle Slams Kurt Angle!!! Cena throws Lita into Edge, then picks him up and rolls him back into the ring. Styles hits the Styles Clash on Edge. 1….2….3!! Styles wins the challenge!!!!!

    JR: AJ’s won! AJ’s won!

King: Look at Kurt! He’s throwing a fit in the ring!

Coach: It’s official, AJ Styles has won the challenge! It's AJ Styles: 4-1 ; Angle: 3-2!

[Eric Bischoff’s theme music plays as he walks out onstage.]

Eric: AJ Styles….congratulations on your win. You did really well. I’m not gonna ask you to reveal the stipulation for you and Kurt Angle’s match at WrestleMania. You’ll do that next week. Cena this concerns you too. What I am out here to say is that next week, you will be teaming up with AJ Styles against the team of….Kurt Angle and Edge. With the lovely Lita as the special guest referee!

[All the superstars stare at each other in the ring as RAW goes off the air.]

  3. Thank you for the comment. Thanks to some tough criticism from Vitamin E and Thatz I changed a lot of the diary. For WrestleMania, I don't plan on having two shows. Since it's four hours I needed to kill some time. I actually just noticed yesterday how many matches I had. It is a hell of a lot. I'll more than likely start the matches on Heat (maybe I can make it Live).

Chris Harris Returns From Injury, Matt Hardy Unhappy

We have received word that Chris Harris of America's Most Wanted has returned to the WWE. Harris, who has been out with a neck injury is said to be in better shape than he was before he left. Harris' partner, James Storm has been out of action lately too with a back injury. Both workers have been sent down to OVW to rub off any in-ring rust and should be back on WWE TV after WrestleMania.

A WWE insider tells us that Matt Hardy is very unhappy within the WWE. Since signing with verbal contract with World Wrestling Entertainment back in early December, Matt Hardy has not been see on WWE TV, rather he's been touring with OVW. One wrestler says "The powers that be were ready to bring Matt to SmackDown, but when he told the WWE that TNA was his priority, they decided to punish him by keeping him off TV." Matt was scheduled to return at the 'Royal Rumble', but was also scheduled for TNA's 'Final Resolution'. Those close to Hardy suggest that the reason he hasn't left the WWE is because of job security. With the wrestling industry and economy starting to fall, and TNA not backing Hardy 100%, he has decided to accept his current position.

Talks between the WWE and Jeff Hardy have broken down. Apparently Jeff has signed a 90-day extension with NWA:TNA. It isn't known whether the WWE will try to re-open talks. The WWE had hopes of signing Jeff and having he and Matt feud in a "Best of 7" series. Obviously those plans have been dropped.

With roster cuts inevitable in the WWE's future, Matt Hardy has nothing to worry about. He is liked very much by the creative team and allegedly they have plans on bringing up back to TV after WrestleMania.

    ***SMACKDOWN***

[A recap video is shown on the titan tron]

Shane: There will be no match between you and Undertaker tonight. Let me clear some things up for you Goldberg. You don’t run things around here. You never have and you never will. I will not tolerate being undermined nor will I tolerate you attacking whoever you want. This is my show.

Goldberg: No, I don’t think you understand. I tried being a “good soldier” and it didn’t worked out to my advantage. I’m looking out for number one. Me. So let me tell you what’s going to happen tonight. After the next match, I’m gonna walk my *** down to that ring, and call out the Undertaker. He’ll walk down the isle, step into this ring, and get his *** kicked! And that’s gonna happen with, or without your approval. Your threats don’t scare me Shane.

Goldberg forces the referee calls for the bell and both men start beating the hell out of each other. Goldberg throws Undertaker into the corner of the ring and charges after him. Taker counters with an elbow to the face, and follows up with a stalling vertical suplex. Goldberg tackles the Undertaker and starts beating the hell out of him.

    [shane walks out onstage]

Shane: Damn it! Damn you Goldberg! Undertaker! I expressly stated that you two were not to come in contact with one another until after I had sorted this mess out. And what you do Goldberg? You lock me in a damn closet. You two wanna fight so badly?! Then you got it. The two of you will face off at WrestleMania in a number one contender’s match for the World Heavyweight Championship! This is my show and I will not be disrespected by my employees. Undertaker, you will NOT be appearing on SmackDown next week you are banned from the arena. Goldberg! Next week, you will be in action against an opponent of my choosing. Your opponent will be a man who hasn’t graced WWE TV in months. Your opponent will be a man who you faced when you first came to the WWE during your first tenure here. Your opponent will be….THE ROCK!!!!

[The SmackDown intro video is then shown. After the fireworks and pyros go off, the camera points to Michael Cole, Josh Matthews & Tazz.]

Josh: Welcome to SmackDown! We are live from Atlanta, Georgia and tensions are high. Tonight we have a pay-per view caliber main event. Goldberg will be taking on The Rock! We haven’t seen The Rock in ages Cole!

Cole: This will be a great treat for the fans. These two will have it out tonight and it will be brutal.

Tazz: That’s not all. Christian will be addressing what went down last week between he and his partner Tyson Tomko.

Cole: We can pretty much deduct that he and Tomko are now former partners Tazz. After Tyson deliberately kicked him in the face, I don’t think Christian will be teaming up with him any time soon.

Josh: Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guererra defend their number one contender’s spot for the WWE Tag-Team Championship against MNM. Last week, Special K defeated Christian & Tyson Tomko and captured the titles.

Tazz: Kicking off action SmackDown tonight will be some cruiserweight action with Billy Kidman taking on Shannon Moore!

    --

    Singles Match

    Billy Kidman v. Shannon Moore

Decent opening match. The match quality wasn’t great, but the fans were really into it. Shannon starts the match off using some typical cruiserweight moves, Kidman counters every one. The fans begin to clap out of respect for their sequence. Kidman rakes the eyes of Moore, then levels him with a clothesline. Kidman mounts many minutes of offense on Moore before being battled back. Kidman hits a modified second rope bulldog then covers him. 1..2..KICKOUT! Moore hits a sunset flip on Kidman and gets a near three count. Moore throws Kidman out of the ring, then leaps onto him with a vaulting body press. Moore & Kidman battle outside the ring before taking in back inside. Moore gets the pinfall after hitting the Halo.

Shane Has A Surprise For Brock Lesnar

[brock Lesnar walks in Shane McMahon’s office.]

Lesnar: Shane, we need to talk.

Shane: What’s with everyone just walking into my office? Make it quick Brock, I have things to do.

Lesnar: I want a rematch with Chris Benoit. My loss last week was a fluke.

Shane: I don’t have time for this right now. If you want a match with Benoit you’re going to have to wait for a while.

Lesnar: I’m not going to wait to get my hands on Benoit. Give me a match with him tonight!

Shane: Like I told Goldberg last week, I will not tolerate being spoken to with disrespect. Not that I have to explain anything to you, but I won’t give you a match tonight with Chris Benoit because he’s not expected to be here! Last time I checked he was doing some PR work in town. But…. since you’re in the mood to wrestle I have a great idea. You wanna hear it?

    Lesnar: It’s Benoit or nothing.

Shane: No, it’ll be who I say so. You’re here in the arena, you’re under contract and you’re an active wrestler. That means you’ll wrestle who I say so when I say so. Later on tonight, you will take on the newest addition to the SmackDown roster.

    Lesnar: Who is it?

Shane: You’ll find out when I personally introduce him tonight.

[Lesnar stares at Shane for a bit.]

Shane: What are you waiting around? You have a match to get ready for. Get out!

[When SmackDown returns from it’s commercial break, Alex Shelley is shown backstage talking with Steve Romero.]

Steve: Alex Shelley. Last week you were in a match with Chris Sabin, which you won after he hit you with a steel chair. I and all your fans want to know if you’re going to accept his challenge.

Alex: Chris Sabin…I have never hated a man more than I hate him. He claims that he’s always passed over for one on one title shots, well his actions last week proves why. He’s not a good wrestler at all. He has to try and win his matches by hitting people over the head with chairs. Not only he take me out with a steel chair, but he then he insulted me by talking to me and kicking me when I wouldn’t answer him. To answer your question Chris, I do accept your challenge. You and me, one on one at WrestleMania 22 for my cruiserweight championship. I went to Shane and had him sign off on the match. It’s put up or shut up time Chris. This is your chance, on the grandest stage in our industry, to prove that you are better than me. Will you be ready?

Shane: Brock…you were in such a mood to wrestle tonight, I thought this would be a great time to show off my latest acquisition. At this time I’d like to introduce the latest of many superstars that I’ve snagged from RAW. He is a former ECW Heavyweight Champion and former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Ladies and gentleman…. [The fans finish his sentence again. He stops, then begins to speak again.]

    Rock: HOME!

[Everyone in the arena cheer louder and louder after he finishes.]

Rock: You know it’s been a while since The Rock has been back on his show, SmackDown. Since I’ve been gone The Rock sees there have been some….changes. We’ve got, new faces, new champs, new…divas. I see there honey. Did you miss the Rock? I know you did. As many of you know, The Rock has been away filming some movies, doing some movie tours, and helping some of the younger kids down in OVW. And while The Rock was gone, he saw that…anarchy was running wild on SmackDown. Randy Orton wins the Royal Rumble…hard to believe, but he did. So what does he do after he wins? He hires the muscle idiot Brock Lesnar to take out Batista, and gets his *** kicked. We’ve got the WWE General Manager losing his mind and deciding to become a full time active wrestler…when it suits him. And to top it off, we’ve got Goldberg, wrecking shop on The Rock’s show SmackDown! Who in the hell gave Goldberg the right to just start trouble on my show.

Rock: Now The Rock doesn’t like The Undertaker very much. It’s a well known fact. But the Rock does…respect..The Undertaker. Personally, The Rock thinks the Undertaker’s a little bit off his rocker. Praying to and controlling the dark side, but hey…who is The Rock to Judge? Goldberg, get over it. You’ve had a few bad months here. Everyone does. Get over it. The Undertaker gets a title shot at Judgement Day. So what. You should have won the damn Royal Rumble. So I was sitting at home watching you b*tch and moan about the bad things in your life and decided that The Rock should come back and kick your @$$. The Rock is back baby, and he’s not going anywhere. IF YA SMELLLLLLLLL….What the Rock…is………cooking.

Mysterio and Nitro start off the match. Mysterio takes down Nitro using his speed and pulling out moves from his aerial arsenal. Mysterio clotheslines Nitro, and then drops him with a dropkick. Christian Comments on Recent Actions

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen joining us via satellite from Stamford, CT is Christian. Christian how are you feeling?

[Christian is shown in the titan tron.]

    Christian: I’ve been better Cole.

Cole: I know that you don’t really feel like talking right now Christian, but it would be nice if we were able to get some kind of statement from you. For weeks now you and Tyson Tomko have been having some problems which finally came to a head last week when your partner attacked you.

Christian: For the record Cole, he’s my former partner. All I’ve done this past week is watch the footage over, and over and over and over. I keep replaying it in my head too Cole. I’ll hand it to Tomko, I never expected this. Everyone knew we weren’t getting a long, but that was ok. The same thing happened with my brother Edge. All teams have internal problems, but it’s how you deal with them. I backed Tyson Tomko and defended him against the people who told me that our run as a team was over. And there I was looking like a fool.

Cole: Well no one can blame you for being upset. You were screwed out of your tag-titles by your own partner.

Christian: Upset? Upset?! I’m not upset Cole. I’m furious. This issue between Tomko and I isn’t done, not by a longshot. Tyson, you need to watch your back. Christian and the peeps coalition won’t tolerate you betraying me. I hear you’ve got a match with Booker T next week. You’d better watch your back Tyson. Actually, you know what, I’m not gonna take you out from behind. I’m going to walk down to the ring and look at you face to face….then I’m gonna kick your @$$.... No games, no hoopla. Just straight forward in your face Christian. Why? ’Cause that’s how I roll. I step up and come hard. You’re mine Tomko. You’re mine…

[Christian stares into the camera coldly as the camera cuts back to the commentators.]

Josh: Christian is in a bad mood.

    Tazz: Is it that obvious?

Cole: I don’t think Tyson realizes just what he’s done.

Josh: No matter what happens, Christian has guaranteed a confrontation with Tyson Tomko next week after his match with Booker T.

Tazz: Enough about them, we’ve got a match getting ready to start.

[Randy Orton is shown offering money to some wrestlers backstage to take out Batista.]

Orton: Come on guys, $150,000 is more than enough to handle him.

Random Wrestler: No Way. Tha’s no where near enough money.

Orton: Think about all the things he’s done you all. All the powerbombs and spinebusters and KO Clotheslines he’s done to many of you. Just thinking about that should fire you up. He’s the World Champion, at least for now anyway. Can you imagine how much of a boost your career would get if you were to successfully take out Batista. Hit him from behind! Take out him out with a chair! I don’t care, just get the job done. It’s not like he’ll be expecting it. I don’t know if you all have noticed…but Dave Batista isn’t the sharpest nail in Lowe’s.

    The Rock v. Goldberg

Though this was a blockbuster main event for SmackDown, the match bombed. Little wrestling is actually done in this match as the participants relied solely on their ability to get the fans involved work off each other. The fans were involved and the wrestling was good, but the match didn‘t click. Goldberg wrestles very stiffly with the Rock, no-selling damn near everything The Rock did. After hitting the Rock Bottom, the Rock does his normal routine during the People’s Elbow. The Rock bounces off the ropes for a second time but Goldberg is already up. Goldberg attempts a spear on the Rock, who spins away from him, Goldberg bounces off of the ropes and runs into a spinebuster from The Rock, who then drops the People’s Elbow. The Rock pins Goldberg but only gets a two count. The Rock can’t believe what’s going on. Goldberg kicks The Rock very awkwardly in the head, then sets him up for the Jackhammer. The light’s go off in the arena followed by the sound of the Undertaker’s theme music. Goldberg looks around and when he sees that the Undertaker isn’t coming out, he Spears The Rock and pins him.

Goldberg celebrates in the ring and beings mocking The Undertaker & The Rock. Thunder echoes throughout the arena and the words “R.I.P.” appear on the titan tron. Goldberg flips off the titan tron, and then the lights go out again. The Undertaker appears behind Goldberg and begins beating him up. Goldberg fights back but gets whipped hard into the turnbuckle. The Rock walks over to The Undertaker and tries to pull him away from Goldberg. Taker tells him to move and he won’t. He gets Tombstoned as a result. A group of referees and road agents come out to break apart the brawl but everyone who runs in gets knocked down by the Undertaker. Undertaker goes to chokeslam Goldberg. Goldberg fights out of it then knocks The Undertaker down. The Undertaker gets back up and begins laughing evilly while Goldberg walks up the ramp. Taker gets on one knee and the arena goes dark. The Road To WrestleMania Continues!

It's do or die week for Kurt Angle & AJ Styles. Kurt Angle currently leads the Styles/Angle Challenge 2-0 to 1-1. Last week, Kurt Angle "saved" AJ Styles by attacking Chavo Guerrero, giving AJ his first loss in challenge. This week, Angle & Styles will be pulling double duty by taking on two opponents this week. The winner of the challenge will decide the stipulation for their WrestleMania match.

After bumping into Alicia Webb backstage, Torrie Wilson was verbally ripped apart by the former women's champion. Torrie tried to avoid a confrontation but was provoked. In a match ordered by Eric Bischoff, Torrie Wilson will take on Alicia Webb.

The rivalry between Edge and John Cena restarted last week when Edge defeated John Cena by count out thanks to Lita. After the match, Edge speared Cena and let Lita attack him. This has put Cena in a bigger foul mood than before. Edge has also launched verbal attacks on Cena on Heat and various media outlets. What will these two do to each other next week on RAW?

After running his mouth off to Evolution and Eric Bischoff, Chris Jericho was forced to wrestle Chris Masters. It turned out to be a set up and Jericho was attacked by Ric Flair and assaulted by Evolution after his match. Surprisingly Shawn Michaels came out to help Jericho and ran them off. Triple H was none too pleased that his plan was foiled by HBK. This week Shawn Michaels will take on Evolution members Triple H and Chris Masters in a handicap match as punishment for interfering. Will they be able to take Shawn out for good?

Also Chris Jericho's guest for the Highlite Reel will be no one other than the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Stephanie McMahon! Triple H has requested that Stephanie not appear on the 'Reel' but Eric Bischoff overruled him stating it would make "great tv". Tune in live Monday on the USA Network!

[it’s been a long flight, but finally Ryan Chandler makes it to Kentucky to meet with the head of the current head of OVW, Vince Russo. Ryan walks into the main OVW building and walks to the reception area.]

Ryan: Good afternoon. I’m here to see Vince Russo.

    Secretary: Mr. Chandler is it?

    Ryan: Yes.

Secretary: Follow me please Mr. Chandler. Mr. Russo has been expecting you.

    Ryan: I’m sure he has.

[The secretary takes Ryan into Russo’s office. She leaves to go find Vince. After she leaves Ryan gets up and looks around Russo’s office.]

Voice: Find what you’re looking for?

[Ryan turns around and see’s Vince Russo standing there.]

Ryan: I like what you’ve done with the place. It seems….Russoish.

Russo: Is that even a word? Nevermind. Let’s get down to business shall we?

Ryan: I’m ready if you are.

[Ryan and Russo sit down and begin talking about recent OVW news.]

Ryan: Based on the feedback I’ve received, you are doing a damn good job Vince. You’re making me look good.

    Russo: How is that?

Ryan: Well, it was my decision to hire you. Because you’re doing such a good job, you’re helping the both of us keep our jobs. When you get good results, you stay employed. With that said, how are things going for you down here.

Russo: Well…as you can tell from the tapes I’ve sent you, that we’re fairing pretty well. Our attendance is up and the guys and girls here are putting on some good shows. We are creating new tag-teams for you. As long as you and the creative team don’t break them up before they debut, they should be a great addition to the main roster. Speaking off that, I’m surprised you called up Michael Mizanin without Chris Cage. It affected him in a big way.

Ryan: That wasn’t my call. I was all for bringing them both up, but Stephanie feels that Chris has a lot more to learn. Even if he was brought up with Mike, it would be clear that Mike was the favorite, and would cause problems backstage. What about the SAT? How are they coming along? Please tell me they’re ready.

Russo: They are. They’ve gotten used to the style of the WWE and are ready to move up to the main. I suggest bringing them up for a test run. If they do well then you can come up with a program for them.

Ryan: What about Kevin “Mordecai” Fertig? How’s he coming?

Russo: He’s excelled as much as he’s going to. He’s a good worker, but you’ll have to cater to him. He has great charisma, but can’t work a microphone for anything. The best thing to do is pair him with a charismatic manager with good microphone skills. It’s up to you all whether you decide to use him or not.

Ryan: Ok. I hate to cut our meeting short, but I do have to get back to Connecticut soon. Before I go, I’d like to meet with the wrestlers now.

[Vince Russo and Ryan Chandler drive over to the OVW facility. This is the first time in 9 months that Ryan has been to OVW.]

Ryan: I came here to let everyone know that I think you all are doing a great job. All of you will contribute to the WWE and the realm of sports-entertainment in your own special way. I applaud you all for going out there and getting yourself over with the fans in the towns you visit.

Russo: It is because of the new direction within the WWE that we are able to go out on the road every week and perform for the fans. OVW has a history with the fans and you all are giving them a taste of what to see before you all move up to the main roster.

Ryan: Keep up the good work everyone. I’ll be seeing some of you sooner than you think.

[Ryan looks around and talks with few different wrestlers before driving back to the airport. On the on plane he looks at some of the notes he took while in Kentucky and begins figuring out a way to write in some incoming OVW talent.]

WCW to return to WWE programming? Eric Bischoff, RAW GM news and more!

There have been rumors of a WCW reunion show to take place. Eric Bischoff has been pushing for such type of a show, but things are proven to be a little difficult with TNA signing some former top WCW stars to written contracts. Wrestlezone will have more on this story as it develops.

In other WWE news, Eric Bischoff is expected to take some time off at WrestleMania. Vince is expected to extend his absence. In Eric Bischoff's absence, it is expected that Stephanie McMahon will fully become the RAW authority. The way it's currently be played out on TV is that Stephanie is able to use her power as a McMahon only when Eric Bischoff steps over the line (this would be before she turned heel and re-aligned herself with Triple H, though nothing has appeared to change). Part of the reason for Evolution aligning itself with Eric Bischoff a few months ago was for that reason. With Ryan Chandler (the WWE General Manager) and Vince McMahon (WWE Chairman) currently off TV, there will need to be someone to "run" RAW.

A source tells that an angle is currently being written to explain the absence of Eric Bischoff on RAW and move Stephanie into a position of full on-screen power. Expect the WWE to start setting this into motion on next Monday's episode of RAW. We are not sure if the change will take place before or after WrestleMania.

    WWE News, Notes and More!

The WWE is moving ahead with an Edge/John Cena feud. These two, along with Chris Jericho feuded throughout the winter. The writers wrote an angle that would leave the door open for a future one-on-one feud (Lita being FUed off the stage) which is taking place now. Management isn't too high on John Cena right now, so it's expected that Edge will benefit more from this than Cena. At this time it is not known whether the Intercontinental Championship will be included in the feud. That's a toss up.

One wrester says "The powers that be aren't stupid. They know Cena is a big draw and found a way to keep him on-screen without him being their main guy". The next few weeks will determine whether we'll see Cena as a certified main eventer.

Monday's RAW set up a few possible feuds for before and after WrestleMania. One rumored match is Carlito Caribbean Cool v. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Carlito has asked to work with Stone Cold many times and he may just get his wish.

Another possible match for WrestleMania is Torrie Wilson v. Alicia Webb v. Lita v. Tracy Brooks. The WWE is in the midst of restructuring it's Women's Division and Torrie Wilson has stepped her game up as of late. Her dark matches are very good and the writers also want to capitolize on the backstage tension between Torrie Wilson & Alicia Webb.

Rumor has it that Stephanie McMahon is pushing for a roster shuffle. Each show's roster is unbalanced when it comes to heels and faces, so there may be some shuffling to balance that out. We saw a preview of that when Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger appeared on RAW with no explantion.

There are many wrestlers within the WWE right now working without contracts. At this time, there are at least 10 superstars working on a verbal deal. It isn't known why this is, but one backstage source says this will cause major problems is negotiations break down.

RAW's house show last night in Oregon drew 1,242 fans for a gate of $24,840. Smackdown's house show last night in Maine drew 3,332 fans for a gate of $66,640. Based on recent house show statistics, Smackdown is the more popular brand as of late.

    ****RAW****

[“Time To Play The Game” plays as Eric Bischoff, Triple H & Evolution (Stephanie McMahon, Ric Flair & Chris Masters) make their way to the ring.]

Stephanie: It is my honor to present to all of you fans, the number one contender for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, my loving husband, Triple H!!!

[The crowd boos while Triple H celebrates]

Triple H: Thanks Stephanie. You know, it’s been a very, very long time since I’ve had a one-on-one title shot for the WWE Championship and it’s about time that I got it. For the past year I’ve worked my *** off and it finally paid off. Triple Threat Matches, Fatal Four Ways, all them were hell and each time I was screwed. I put my body on the line in these over-the top matches, and each time I was shafted. This time there’s no third or fourth party to screw things up for me. This time, it’s about me. Once again Evolution will be back on top. Our climb to the top of the mountain begins at WrestleMania!

Eric: That’s right Hunter. First, let me congratulate you on your victory over Shawn Michaels. I believe you will make an excellent WWE Champion. You will represent the best interests of RAW. I’m glad you mentioned about Evolution being on top once more. It is that attitude that makes me proud to be your General Manager. I’ve done some thinking. Triple H shouldn’t be the only member of Evolution to have some WWE gold! So, as of right now, I am officially declaring Perfect Flair, the number one contenders for the World Tag-Team Championship!

    [The crowd boos.]

Eric: That means that at WrestleMania, Ric Flair & Chris Masters will take on The Natural Born Thrillers, Mark Jindrak & Sean O’Haire. It’s out with the old, and in with the new.

Ric: Woo! Once again, Evolution will be back top where we belong. Are you ready Chris? Are you ready to step up for Evolution?

Triple H: You bet he is Ric. I can see it now, Perfect Flair becomes the new World Tag Champions, and I, the Game, becomes the new WWE Champion. RAW is evolving. It’s time that the guys in the back choose a side. This is the era of Evolution, and when all is said and done, we will end up on top. Chris Jericho doesn’t stand a chance. He got lucky when he beat that joke of a champion John Cena last week.

[“King of My World” plays as Chris Jericho walks on the stage.]

Chris: Well. Someone seems a little too proud of himself.

Stephanie: How dare you come out and interrupt Evolution! What do you want Jericho?

Chris: It sure isn’t you Steph. I couldn’t help but hear all of you out here stealing my airtime. Come on guys, no one cares that Triple H beat Shawn Michaels last week. And no one really cares about Perfect Flair being handed a contender’s spot. Quit boring the fans and leave the ring.

Triple H: Jericho, I’m telling you man, you don‘t want mess with me right now!

Chris: Oh come on Hunter. Of course it is. It’s Triple H/Jericho II at WrestleMania. Remember a few years back when we met? I was the Undisputed Champion and I had your lovely, and I use that term loosely, wife in my corner.

Triple H: And if my memory serves me correctly, I beat your *** for the Undisputed Championship now didn’t I? And after that, you became…..lost in the WWE didn’t you? I went on to hold the World Championship many times after that.

Chris: Yeah, I did get lost in the shuffle. And it was no thanks to you. Your going on to hold the World Championship multiple times isn’t that great of an achievement Hunter. That means you are a multiple time loser.

Triple H: You son of a-

Eric: Now you listen up Jericho. If it wasn’t for me giving you a title shot you wouldn’t even be the WWE Champion. I allowed you to participate in the lottery to face John Cena. So the way I see it, you owe me. You are what I call….a transitional champion. At WrestleMania you will lose to Triple H and I will see to it.

Chris: Oh come on Eric. Why do you have such a hard-on for the WWE title? Is it an adequacy issue? Do you need to attach yourself to a champ of your choosing so it makes you feel important? Get over yourself. And you Hunter! You, are just another puppet that Bischoff will use to get his way. When he’s done with you, you’ll be just another pawn that Eric used to further his agenda.

Triple H: I am a puppet for no one. You of all people should know that.

Chris: Well you bow to every whim that your wife wants. Let me ask you a question Hunter, who’s the woman in your relationship?

[Triple H starts taking off his shirt and begins to walk towards Jericho. He pauses, looks around and starts to back away.]

Triple H: Not now. Not now.

Eric: Since you like to run your mouth Chris, tonight, your going to be in one-on-one action against Chris Masters!

Chris: Ooh, is that supposed to scare me? Chris Masters, the “Masterpiece“. Or as I like to call him, Chris Masters, body of a god, no brighter than the light coming off a firely.

[Masters starts freaking out in the ring.]

Chris: This just means I get to take out a member of Evolution a few weeks early.

[Jericho drops the mic and walks to the back]

JR: It’s Chris Jericho v. Chris Masters live tonight!

Coach: Jericho had better be ready. The Masterpiece is gonna rip Jericho apart. He’ll do Triple H proud.

Styles: Kurt’s no threat to me. I’ve got this in the bag man. The closest Kurt will ever come to beating me is when pigs fly. I’m AJ freaking Styles. I’m the future of this company, Angle’s old news.

Heyman: Your match with Angle is only a few weeks away AJ. You worry about Kurt when you win the challenge. As far as tonight goes, you have to take on Chavo Guerrero. He’s no easy win. He’s been on a roll as of late. Now, let’s go.

    Dissention In the NBT?

[The Natural Born Thrillers are shown talking in the back.]

Sean: What in the hell is going on here? Ric Flair & Chris Masters are just…handed the contender’s spot against us? I swear it’s a conspiracy. But then again Mike, I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. You used to be a lapdog for Bischoff, why would he do this?

Mike: Because he sees where the direction of RAW is going. It’s evolving. When it comes down to it Sean, you need to ask yourself…who’s side will you be on?

Mark: He’ll be with us. What about you? Sean & I bust our *** off out there every week and we have nothing to show for it. We don’t get the same treatment that you and Garrison get, yet we’re the only ones to hold belts.

Mike: First off, let me make it known that Garrison and I don’t get special treatment from Bischoff. We just know how to get what we want. Secondly, if you don’t like the way things are done here in the NBT, then maybe you should leave.

Sean: It’s not like that Michael. We’re all just a little heated right now.

Mark: No Sean, I don’t you to speak for me. Mike has a point, RAW is evolving and we need to pick a side. And to clear things up, if I did have a problem, I would be gone. Come on Garrison, we have to get ready for our match tonight.

Carlito Caribbean Cool & Matt Morgan v. Stone Cold Steve Austin

After minutes of fans booing Morgan for no apparent reason, he tags Carlito in. Austin beats the holy hell out of Carlito. After powerslamming Carlito, Austin walks over to Morgan and flips him off. A Former Enemy Gives Some Advice

[shawn Michaels is shown walking backstage. He stops in front of Chris Jericho’s locker room, and then walks in. Jericho stands up right away.]

HBK: Hey, sit down Jericho. I’m not here to start with you.

Y2J: Ok. Then why are you here?

HBK: I’m here….to give you some words of advice. I know you’ve gone up against Triple H before, but you’ll be facing a different version of Triple H at WrestleMania. He is willing to do anything, and use anyone to get what he wants…but then I again so would I in the past. You need to be focused Jericho. Don’t let Bischoff railroad you. If Triple H doesn’t beat you then he’ll just move on to the next crony.

Y2J: Why are you telling me this? If you had your way we’d be facing off at WrestleMania.

HBK: You’re right. I would. And this time I would win. But I’m not. And as much as you and I don’t get along, I don’t want Triple H defeating you underhandedly. If anyone’s gonna take the title from you, it’ll be the Heartbreak Kid. You need to take out those who back him up 100%. Starting with his “muscle”, Chris Masters.

Y2J: Look Shawn. I get you’re trying to give me some good advice and all, but I don’t need it. I’ve got this under control. You worry about you, and I’ll worry about me ok?

    The Ex-Champ Is Here!

[John Cena is walking backstage when he meets up with Todd Grisham. He tells Grisham that he has a few things to say.]

    Todd: Ok Cena.

Cena: Yo, last week, I messed up. I haven’t been on my “A” game as of late and Bischoff knows that. It’s because of him that I’ve been working myself into exhaustion. Bischoff’s been saying for weeks I wasn’t worthy enough to be champion and I should do everything I can to prove myself. After I came close to losing my title a few times, it made me think. Maybe he’s right? So week after week I went out and defended my title, but for all of the wrong reasons. I forgot about why I became the WWE Champion. It became all about me. That’s not who I am. It’s not all about me, it’s about me and the chain gang! This was Eric Bischoff’s plan from the very beginning… to get the belt off of me and he succeeded. All games aside. Yo, I have no ill words for Jericho. He won the lottery and did his thing out there. He didn’t manipulate anyone to get his shot. I’m no longer the champ. And I have to accept that. But one thing I won’t accept is this Edge character insulting me. You keep on running your mouth and what I did to Lita back in November will be nothing compared to what I do to you tonight.

TNA & Major Super Star Part Ways, Booking Team Changes!

It has now been confirmed that Total Nonstop Action (TNA) and Hulk Hogan have parted ways. Hogan allegedly wasn't happy with the way he was being used, though he was main eventing pretty much every Impact, Xplosion & PPV event. One wrestler says "Hogan wanted his run in TNA to be like his run with WCW...Jerry Jarrett & Don Callis weren't having that." Hogan was pushing for him to defeat Raven for the NWA World Championship, but management refused to cooperate. Hogan unwillingly did the job to Scott Hall & Shane Douglas on his way out.

Hogan, who has been with TNA since November, became a stitch in TNA programming, as pretty much every show was booked around him. Something that was done by previous new TNA wrestlers, Sting & Scott Steiner, yet he is the only one out of many Headliners to not hold a title. One wrestler says that Scott Steiner is happy with Hogan's departure, as he (Steiner) was no longer being used as much.

It is not known whether he will be back with TNA, but looking at the way he left things, industry officials seriously doubt it. The WWE had shown interest in Hulk Hogan for a brief 4 month run with the company, though lost all interest when he chose TNA over the WWE. It is believed that Hogan wanted to work with both companies, but the WWE didn't want a superstar of Hogan's magnitude to appear on TNA just days after WrestleMania.

In other TNA news, Scotty D'Amore has been added to the booking team. Since Don Callis took over as Head Booker a few months back, ratings for TNA shows have increased and the focus of TNA has been placed on tag-team action and PPV caliber matches. Part of Callis' booking plan was to not book around Hulk Hogan. Scott D'Amore agreed and after Hogan was released, D'Amore was promoted from part-time booker to full time booking member.

**I came up with this story because I check the roster of my main competition a few times a week game time. I have Hogan on my shortlist and got a message when he was released. I went back and checked the previous results and based on what I saw, this story could be true. As far as Scott D'Amore goes. After he signed a written contract with TNA, he was added to the booking team. So I added the little bit about him being a part-time member of the booking team.**

[Todd Grisham is shown interviewing Edge backstage]

Edge: It feels great Todd. I am once again part of the upper-tier of RAW. And trust me, it’s where I belong.

Todd: Last week on RAW you defeated Shelton Benjamin to capture the title once again. How did you feel going into the match?

Edge: I went into the match confident because that’s what I am. Confident. I knew that I could defeat Shelton, he wasn’t who I was worried about. I was worried about the safety of my lovely girlfriend Lita. You know, I haven’t forgotten what John Cena did her a few months back.

Todd: You must be referring to the infamous incident where John Cena F-Ued Lita off of the stage after she interfered and helped you win.

Edge: Yes. And thanks for bringing that up, like I didn’t already know it happened. This week is the first time in months that I’ll be able to get my hands on Cena without any added stress. No stress of trying to become the WWE Champion, no stress of worrying if Chris Jericho’s going to interfere in my match. No stress of wondering what Cena will do Lita if he gets her hands on her again. I intend to beat the holy hell out of John Cena….and enjoy every single minute of it. The Italianati (Chuck Palumbo & Tony Stamboli) defeated Totally Toland (Chad & Tank Toland) via submission. This is the first match of the returning Chuck Palumbo & Tony Stamboli (formerly Johnny Stamboli). A pretty decent match-up. This is the first time Totally Toland has appeared on WWE TV in a while. Stamboli gets the win after locking Chad Toland in a modified cloverleaf hold. I was very disappointed with this match. The crowd wasn’t that into the match, nor was the match quality that good. I don’t know who to blame for this. Stamboli needs time off already to rest his body. Apparently him being on the OVW shows after being in Japan for a long time took a toll on his body.

    The Rock Returns to SmackDown!!!

Tensions are running high in the WWE. Last week there was betrayal, ruthless attacks, and a major announcement. SmackDown General Manager Shane McMahon was completely disrespected when he gave an order to Goldberg and was locked in a closet because of it. Goldberg and the Undertaker fought each other to a no-contest and was met with a very angry Shane. The SD GM has banned the Undertaker from the arena next week. As for Goldberg, he will be taking on the returning Rock! These two have a storied history that will surely make this match more interesting.

After weeks of speculation, Christian & Tyson Tomko finally split up after Tomko turned on Christian. This week Christian sits down with Michael Cole to discuss the recent happenings. What will his first interview since being betrayed be like?

Thanks to Tyson Tomko, Special K captured the WWE Tag-Team Championship. This week, MNM will take on Rey Mysterio & Juvi Guerrera for the chance to face MNM at WrestleMania. If MNM loses, they will be suspended. MNM already has enough on their plate with Special K, how will the added burden of staying employed effect their performance?

Two weeks ago, Randy Orton promised that Batista would fear the R.K.O. and he made good on that promise after he attacked the World Champion after his match. The mind games continue between these two superstars on the next SmackDown!

Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar & Shane McMahon will be in the house as well!

    Confirmed Matches:

Shannon Moore v. Billy Kidman (Qualifying Match)

    Paul London v. JBL

Rey Mysterio & Juventud Guerrera v. MNM w/ Melina

    Goldberg v. The Rock

    Brock Lesnar v. Rhyno

Status of the RAW Women's Division; Writing Team Changes??!!

Sources tell us that the WWE Creative Team is about to restructure the women's division yet again within the WWE, this time focusing on RAW. Since being traded to RAW to manage The Javlins, Torrie Wilson hasn't been seen at all. One insider says "Management holds Torrie's dedication to the sport in high regard".

Stephanie & Shane McMahon are said to be pleased that she wants to train more to improve her in-ring action. Expect her to become an active wrestler starting next week. She'll be put over by a few more popular divas before moving into a program with Lita.

If Torrie and the other Diva's step it up, expect Alicia Webb (aka Ryan Shamrock) to be released from the company. Alicia is said to have a horrible attitude and isn't very friendly to those backstage. Alicia hasn't been happy since she lost her championship a few months ago.

The WWE is also expected to raid the Indy's for female talent. The WWE is now looking at TNA and other companies as competition and they only want the best. Fans can expect an influx of new Diva's within the company.

In other WWE news, the Creative Team has been looking for a new writer to help Stephanie and Shane McMahon and Ryan Chandler move the WWE into a new phase after WrestleMania. While they've been interviewing many possible candidates, none of proven themselves to be quite ready for a position of this magnitude.

    ***SMACKDOWN***

[The SmackDown opening video plays followed by fireworks and pyros. The camera pans all around the arena. The ring is set up an edition of “Face Time With Mick Foley”.]

Foley: Welcome to the 32nd Edition of “Face Time W/ Mick Foley”! It’s so great to be here in !

    [Foley gets a cheap pop]

Foley: You know one of my favorite things to do is come out here every so often and ask the “tough questions”. My two guests tonight are….a special bunch. I’ll give you that. Ladies & gentlemen please welcome the WWE Tag-Team Champions, Tyson Tomko & Christian!!!!!!

[“Close Your Eyes” plays as Christian & Tyson Tomko make their way to the ring. Christian doesn’t seem as irritated with Tyson Tomko this week.]

Foley: Chris, Tyson. Welcome. So here we go. Here’s your face time.

    Chris: Thanks for having us.

Tomko: Can we just get on with this?

Foley: Over the past few weeks, things haven’t seemed to happy in camp C & T. The “accidents” that have been going on, the questionable decisions, the hidden arguments. The fans want to know. Are there any problems between the two of you? Can the fans expect a breakup?

Christian: First off, I wanna say that there is no-

Tomko: There is no problem with T & C. We’ve had our problems, many of them Christian’s fault, but we managed to resolve them.

[Christian looks at Tomko and is very unhappy. Christian mouths why did Tomko interrupt him. Tomko tells him to chill out.]

Foley: It appears to me that there is some trouble between the two of you. And based on what I saw, none of this was Christian’s fault.

Tomko: Let me tell you something you fat, overweight freak. I didn’t ask you what you saw.

    [Tomko moves closer to Foley]

Tomko: You just need to accept what it is I say.

[Tomko goes to hit Foley but Christian steps in the way.]

Christian: Back off Tyson. We don’t need this tonight. Do you really want to get into a brawl with Mick Foley?

    Tomko: I’ll take my chances!

[Tomko pushes Christian out of the way and goes to hit Foley with a big boot. Foley moves out of the way and tackles Tomko. He beats him up some then lets him get up. Foley slams Tomko then goes for the mandible claw. He decides against it then throws him headfirst out of the ring. Christian takes his title belt and walks off cursing to himself. Tyson runs to grab his title and starts making his way back up the ramp. Yelling for Christian.]

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to Smackdown. Moments ago Tyson Tomko had his ass handed to him by Mick Foley. Christian tried to persuade Tomko from attacking Foley but he didn’t listen.

Tazz: That’s what I like about Christian. He’s level headed. He doesn’t like Mick Foley, but he knows they have to be in good physical condition for their match later on tonight.

Josh: Getting into a brawl with Mick Foley won’t do them any good. Here we go. The first match of the night will have the Dudley Boyz taking on MNM.

Cole: MNM hasn’t been too happy as of late Josh. Brian Kendrick & Frankie Kazarian, also known as Special K, have been a thorn in the side of MNM for months now.

Tazz: Things finally came to a head when during the ladder match for the Cruiserweight Championship at No Way Out, Nitro intentionally pushed Brian Kendrick off of the ladder. Causing him to take a bad fall. Thank god he was ok.

Bubby hits a full nelson on Nitro and tells D-Von to get the tables. Mercury hits D-Von with a chair while he's outside the ring. Suddenly Special K (Frankie Kazarian & Brian Kendrick) run down to the ring. Special K hit a double superkick on Nitro and tells Bubba to pin him. Bubba covers. 1..2..3!!!! The Dudley Boyz gets the win! After the match The Dudley Boyz let Kazarian & Kendrick put Nitro through a table.

Cole: Special K has just put Johnny Nitro through a table! This is not going to sit well with them later. You’d think they would have let this go by now.

[The theme of Goldberg begins to play. Thousands of fans rise to their feet and begin to boo Goldberg. He walks down to the ring laughing & smirking. He tells Tony Chimel to give him a microphone. Every time he goes to open his mouth, the fans boo even more loudly.]

Golberg: Hey! Shut up! Don’t you all see me trying to talk!? Ever since last Thursday, all I’ve been hearing is “Why’d you do it Goldberg, how could you do that to the Undertaker?” or “Goldberg, you’ve just ended your career. Undertaker’s gonna kick your ***”. Let me answer both of those questions. The reason why I beat the hell out of The Undertaker is because…well, because I can. This all started back before the Rumble. I told the Undertaker that I would be walking out of the Royal Rumble as the winner. And you know what he did? He killed my chances at winning the Rumble when he chokeslammed me out of the ring. He killed my chances of going on to the main event at WrestleMania and kicking Batista’s ***! That was a heinous act by the Undertaker and he deserved to pay.

[The crowd begins to chant *******!]

Goldberg: Yeah, I’m an *******. And I’m going to continue to be one until I get my way. This has always, always been about the World Heavyweight Championship. Undertaker is guaranteed to get a shot for the World Championship. He gets to be the number one contender. Did he beat anyone? No. He gets first crack at the new champion at Judgement Day. His pay per view. Why? Because that’s how his new contract is set up. The idiots in control of this machine called the WWE decided to give The Undertaker a “reward” for his hard work and dedication to the company. Hard work and dedication my ass. He didn’t have to win the Royal Rumble, just make sure he manipulated the outcome. You see, the way I see it, if I can take out the Undertaker, then that means I become the number one contender. And that seems just great to me. Undertaker ruined my chances to win the Rumble, and now I’m going to end his streak at WrestleMania.

[The crowd begins to boo even more]

Goldberg: You know, Shane McMahon has issued an “order” for Taker and I not to come into contact with one another until he sees fit. Well I don’t take orders too well. So tonight, in this very ring, it’s you and me Taker! Come on what do you say?!

[suddenly Shane appears on the Titan Tron]

Shane: Goldberg. How nice to see you again. Let me get some things straight Goldberg, you don’t run things around here. This isn’t WCW. I’m not going to cater to your needs. So this is what we’re gonna do. You’re gonna come out of that ring, and walk into my office. Then we’re going to discuss this in a professional manner.

    [Goldberg begins to laugh]

Goldberg: That’s funny Shane. Bringing up WCW and all. I’ll tell you what, I’m going to humor you. I will meet you in your office later on.

    Shane: No, now!

[Goldberg drops the microphone and starts to laugh. He slowly makes his way to the back.]

Sabin: You know. I am so sick and tired of being screwed over here in the WWE. Ever since I joined, I’ve been passed over for title shots, forced to fight on Velocity or being paired up with incompetent wrestlers. I am Chris Sabin damn it. I am the future of the WWE and I deserve more than this. I deserve more than what I’ve been receiving. I finally get a one on one title shot and I lose because I lost my cool? That’s not cool man. Not cool at all. So therefore I propose a match. You and me Shelley. One on one for the Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania.

[He climbs out of the ring and walks over to Alex Shelley.]

Sabin: Hey. Shelley. Look, you don’t have to answer now.

Goldberg: Make this quick. I have a match later.

    Shane: Wait a minute.

[shane is shown talking to MNM]

Nitro: Come on Shane, you have to give us a match. Special K totally interfered in our match and what do they get in return? A title shot? Hell, on top that they win the titles! That’s not fair.

Shane: I don’t have time for this.

Melina: It’s not fair that MNM can’t spin this to their advantage Shane. MNM wants Special K next week. I think as punishment they should have to defend their titles against MNM.

Shane: What you think doesn’t really matter to me. Though you did give me a good idea. I’ll tell you what, next week MNM will take on Rey Mysterio & Juvi Guerrera. They will defend their contender’s spot against you, and if you all win, then you’ll face Special K at WrestleMania. And if you don’t…you’re both suspended indefinitely!

MNM: What? Suspended Indefinitely? That’s not fair! That’s like being fired!

Shane: No, this is fair. I’m tired of you all complaining about everything. If you win, then you’ll go on to WrestleMania. If you lose…then you’re suspended. It’s plain and simple.

Goldberg: Good! You’ve gotten what you want. Now leave! You all already were in here for way too long.

Let me clear some things up for you Goldberg. You don’t run things around here. You never have and you never will. I will not tolerate being undermined nor will I tolerate you attacking whoever you want. This is my show. You got it? You just saw how I’m beginning to handle things around here. I’m not taking crap from anyone! Do you understand?

Goldberg: No, I don’t think you understand. I tried being a “good soldier” and it didn’t worked out to my advantage. I’m looking out for number one. Me. So let me tell you what’s going to happen tonight. After the next match, I’m gonna walk my ass down to that ring, and call out the Undertaker. He’ll walk down the isle, step into this ring, and get his ass kicked! And that’s gonna happen with, or without your approval. You’re threats don’t scare me Shane. I know how my contract is set up. You can’t afford to fire me. I’m one of your biggest draws and if you were to lose me…then SmackDown would lose one of it’s premier players….and that’s not something that you want now is it?

    Batista v. Orlando Jordan

Pretty average match. As soon as the beginning guitar riff of Batista’s theme played the fans blew the roof off of the arena. Easily one of the biggest pops of the night. Match quality wasn’t as good as I hoped for. Jordan starts off the match with a bang, but loses most of his steam after about 5 minutes. Batista finally decides to mount some offense and begins brawling with Jordan. Batista drives Jordan shoulder first into the turnbuckle. The match continues to go back and forth with Batista eventually gaining full control of the match. Batista has control of this bout. Cover! 1..2..KICKOUT! Jordan kicks Batista in the knee cap, then takes him off his feet with a dropkick. Jordan runs at Batista. Batista catches Jordan. Batista hit’s a HUGE spine buster. Referee Charles Robinson pulls Goldberg off of Taker, and Goldberg DDT’s Robinson because of it. Shane McMahon runs out onstage and calls for security and WWE officials to come break the two apart. Shane gets a microphone and begins to talk.

Stephanie McMahon & Ryan Chandler hold press conference regarding new financial information.

[stephanie McMahon and Ryan Chandler are getting ready to go on stage for a press conference.]

    Ryan: Are you ready Steph?

Stephanie: Yes, I'm ready. This was a good idea Ryan.

[both Ryan & Stephanie hear them being introduced.]

Man: It is at this time that I ask all of you to welcome the Vice President of the WWE Creative Team & part owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, I give you, Stephanie McMahon!

[stephanie walks onto the platform and smiles at everyone.]

Stephanie: Good morning everyone. We are here today to discuss some new changes that shall be happening within World Wrestling Entertainment. Since June of 2005, we have gone through a trial and error period. Things weren't looking to good for us for a while but we managed to turn things around. Our ratings are up and we are setting attendence records everywhere. Because the WWE has such a close relationship with it's fans, we decided that it's only fitting for us to forge a strong relationship with the media and various news outlets. It is at this time that I am proud to announce that my brother Shane & I are now Co-CFO's for World Wrestling Entertainment. Because Ryan & I are involved with the day to day operations of the WWE, and financial reports hit our desks before anyone elses, it seemed fitting that we should be involved officially with the finances.

Question: Mrs. McMahon, what does your family think of this?

Stephanie: My family is 100% behind me on this. It was actually my father's decision to make Shane & myself the CFO's. My brother Shane unfortuneately could not be here today, but he stands firm on the decision as well. Before I turn matters over to Mr. Chandler, I'd like for this to be placd on the record. I am currenly using a hyphenated last name. I have taken on the last name of my husband. From now on I'd like to be referred as Stephanie McMahon-Levesqe. Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you Mr. Ryan Chandler.

[i take a deep breath and make my way to the platform.]

Ryan: Thank you Stephanie. Before I continue, I'd like to clarify some things. Though Shane & Stephanie are the new Co-CFO's, I am in no way involved with in a management sense with the Financial Division of the WWE. My presense is only that of a contributor. I help choose the venues that we will be each week, it seemed only fitting that I'd have knowledge of the finances in the WWE. The three of us shall be on the Finances Board until a new permanent one can be found. Now with that said...under the new policy implented by myself and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque, the WWE shall release finance reports at the beginning of each month. This new feature will accurately reflect the changes in the wrestling industry as well as the profits and losses made by the WWE. We also feel that his will benefit our current shareholders as well as future ones.

Question: Do you believe that this can also hurt the WWE?

Ryan: Yes, that's the downside. But the stockmarket is a gamble. You win some, you lose some. As least now the investors know what they are getting themselves into. Unfortuneately our time has run out. The first report shall be released tomorrow March 2, 2006. Thank you ladies and gentlemen and have a great day.

Val Venis d. Rene Dupree via submission. This was an ok opening match. Dupree didn’t wow anyone. The most the fans were interested in this match happened when Venis hit the “Money Shot”. [A pre-taped interview is shown featuring Kurt Angle.]

Angle: Ladies and gentlemen. For those who don’t know, my name is Kurt Angle. I am the only Olympic Gold Medallist in WWE history. At WrestleMania 22, I’ll be taking on AJ Styles in a “Money In The Bank II” match. AJ thinks that he’s this huge superstar, well let me tell you something AJ….you aren’t. You aren’t even in the same league as me. Hell, you aren’t even in the same galaxy as me.

[Kurt stops and thinks for a minute before talking again]

Angle: You know what I mean. I don't know why the powers decided to hire you, but they made a big mistake. YOu are an overrated "indy" star, and I use the word 'star' loosely. You managed to sneak your way into the minds of the powers that be and they signed you. Congratulations, you are no longer in the minor leagues. This issue between you and I, will be done and over with at WrestleMania. We’ll both walk in, but only I’m walking out. If I were you AJ, I’d pray. Pray to whoever it is that you pray to that I don’t break your freakin ankle, and end your career before it's even begun.

Latest on John Cena, new talent, and More!!!

    - Things between WWE Management and John Cena have appeared to be heating up even more. One wrestler close to the booking team says "Cena's screwed either way. He could lose his title on RAW, and be buried by the booking team, or he could lose at WrestleMania, and still be buried by the booking team". All of our calls to WWE Head Quarters have been ignored and it's pretty much been agreed on that this situation will develop even more as the weeks go by.

    - WWE Management appears to be very high on the Batista/Orton match at WrestleMania. One source tells PWI that no matter who comes out on top, both men are expected to have great runs with the company.

    - WWE Developmental Wrestler and MTV Real World Alumni Michael "The Miz" Mizanin is expected to debut on WWE TV as soon as next week. Mizanin has spent the better part of 2005 alternating between the OVW Training Center and the OVW Promotion. Stephanie McMahon and Ryan Chandler have high hopes for this superstar and it's rumored that he'll be placed on SmackDown.

    - There's a rumor going around backstage that roster cuts could be coming soon. Expect some wrestlers on the injured list and those wrestlers who've been floating around the WWE for months to be released. Names rumored to be cut are Chavo Guerrero, Billy Kidman, Chris Harris (injured), James Storm, Maria & The Natural Born Attitudes (Garrison Cade & Mike Sanders). Chris Harris of AMW is currently out with what is thought to be severe cranial injury. Early reports indicate that he'll never be the same again. Harris was injured during a dark match with Johnny Nitro. Preliminary inury reports aren't always accurate, but PWInsider will have more info when it is made available.

    - Even amidst the rumors of roster cuts, the WWE has been trying to sign indy wrestlers Shaun Tempers and Ace Rockwell (aka Jace Rockwell in the WWE; currently under verbal contract with the WWE). Neither want to be tied down with a written contract, but the WWE is very persistant.

Orton takes out Booker T, then chases after Sharmell. Orton throws Sharmell to the floor and crawls under the ring. Booker T gets up and leans in between the ropes to check on his wife. Orton slides into the ring and stalks Booker T. Booker turns around and…RKO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Orton hit the RKO!!! He then puts one foot on Booker T and gets the win. Orton climbs on the turnbuckle and begins to celebrate and sees Sharmell tending to her husband. Orton walks over to her and starts to mutter something. He seems to look genuinely concerned for her and helps her up. He apologizes for knocking her down and touches her head. He walks away, and she turns her back to him. Orton turns, spins Sharmell around and hits her with the RKO as well.

    Goldberg Returns to Action!

Last week during SD’s main event, Goldberg made his return with a bang by interfering in the match and spearing the Undertaker. After Jackhammering The Undertaker onto a steel chair, Golberg stood laughing at a broken Undertaker. The last time we saw Goldberg, he was eliminated at the Royal Rumble. This week on SmackDown, Golberg will tell you in his own words why he did what he did. Per order of Shane McMahon, these men are not to come in contact with each other until he sorts things out.

With WrestleMania only a few weeks away, things between Randy Orton & Batista don’t appear to be dying down. Last week, Orton told Batista to “Fear the R.K.O.”. Randy Orton told WWE.com that by the end of Smackdown, Batista would find out what they means. With these two men in the building tensions will be high!

Cena to drop title?, WWE Media Appearances & More!

-John Cena has been scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno. He is expected to promote WrestleMania XXII and RAW.

-Speaking of John Cena, some of the rumors floating around online is for him to drop the title to Chris Jericho on RAW, setting up a feud with Shawn Michaels. The original finish was for Cena to go into WrestleMania XXII as the WWE Champion, then drop the title to his challenger, giving him a few months off to rest. However, with his recent no-show on yesterday's RAW, he may be forced to lose the title on RAW's SuperShow as punishment.

-In other WWE news. Former WCW and WWE Wrestler Chuck Palumbo has signed a new 1 year contract with the WWE. It is expected that he will team up with Tony (formerly Johnny Stamboli). Palumbo's signing is contributed to the WWE wanted to rebuild their tag division. Expect Stamboli to be called up from OVW and debut on this week's Smackdown with Chuck Palumbo.

    - Sources tell us that the WWE has offered Josh Matthews a 2 year contract worth about $210,336 that will be paid over his three years with the company. Management appears to be very high on Matthews as of late. He is considered to be the new voice of the WWE.
