Jim has been my favourite since the beginning, he's the only one I found to have a bit of personality and if he'd gone a few weeks ago I'd have stopped watching 'cause the programme would have just become a load of girls screaming at each other. I hope he wins but I don't think he will, I agree that Helen looks most likely. Susie is too weak and needs guidance and Tom has been very lucky to get through this far when he's been rather weak up compared to others.

Jim's been the MVP this series with getting out of Leon's boardroom picks (his shocked look was priceless) which led to Leon's downfall, then his Batman & Robin week with the tanned fella and the way he's learned from previous seasons by ensuring all his decisions are backed by his teammates so that when they later say that they were bad, he's got a great way of deflecting the heat.

I'm not a fan of the way Lord Sugar has kept beating the bush about starting their own business. If that was such a big deal, why didn't they only allow people in who started a business? Instead he uses it as an excuse to fire him, which isn't fair. Neither was sacking the engineer just because he's an engineer.

I enjoy the BAL games more than the normal mode now. I've been playing as a striker for the last 2 PES games so switched it around this time to a Wing Back with side midfielder and winger ticked, spent first season at Bolton and admittedly spent more time hogging the ball up the pitch then defending in my position. I've lost count of the number of times the oppo hoof the ball over to their left winger and he's all alone - exactly where I should be! Had one cap for England at left wing (right footed...) at the start of second season with Bolton, which is surprisingly earlier than I got capped as a striker banging in 30 last time. I think a real test for me will be to play as a Def Mid because I'll have to be disciplined there.

Bit of a saddo question. Last year in PES 2010 I added numbers to the front of teams with plain kits ie. Arsenal and the colour of the number was the same as the number on the back of the shirt. This year it's just black whatever colour I put the back number in. Is there somewhere else I should be looking to change the colour?

Where are the best deals this time? I've seen Play.com is doing a mini mouse with orders, last time wasn't somebody doing a custom cover?

If you're looking for a reduced roster, I suggest one of the older scenario's or iDom. The latest updates are pretty stacked with data.

I'm still playing FM 2007, which I only installed on laptop a couple of months ago. Is the 2010 version a big enough improvement for me to buy or should I stick with 07? It's currently on offer at £15 in Asda and £13 on Amazon.

Really hoping Kobayashi gets a drive, I enjoyed watching him the last couple of races. He reminds me of Montoya when he arrived.

I say pay all teams equally and let Sky/ESPN broadcast the games they want but that doesn't really allow for 'compensation' for the big 4 getting more TV time than the minnows.

I started a new MM game with Bristol Rovers earlier. Christ, the stamina levels in the lower leagues is shocking. It's annoying how just because the players are rated lower, that they can't have high fitness levels. I've managed to get the fitness coaching up to about 8 and hopefully I'll be able to increase it again in time, but at the moment I still need to rotate every game or so. :/

I've won 3, drawn 1 in the league so far, so all is going good. I've got my VP playing for the side as well, who's my highest rated player at 70.

He's had about 4 glorious chances to score in the games I've played up to now, but spurned them all sadly. Kuffour has scored 3 for me already though.

Before the transfer window closed I picked up a few new players on free transfers. Hope they can prove to be decent replacements.

Talking of replacements, in a game when Kuffour was fucked, I brought in Daryl Duffy to take his place. Surprisingly very good. Quite quick and strong enough to hold off the defenders, exactly what I need.

Will probably carry on tomorrow. There's something about the lower leagues that I prefer in FIFA.

Couldn't agree more about the stamina in lower leagues, which I'm sure I read about being fixed for this game. I started an MM as Stockport County in League 1 and it's shocking after a few games. I've had to sign a few on loan (after letting a couple go as I'd never play them) to make the numbers up.

I'll probably cop some flak for this but I detest Blackadder. All the series just grate on me and I hate it. I can't sit and watch it, I insist on turning it over and if it comes on one of those 100 Best Comedy Programmes I sit there and shout at the TV. I like Rowan Atkinson, he is a very talented actor and I like Mr. Bean but Blackadder just isn't for me. Round The Twist too from my childhood. I used to go round to my granny's on the night it was on and I would do everything I could to make sure another channel was on because I refused to watch it.

Which show is Hank? Is that the one when Kelsey Grammar presents the news?
