  1. Ashley Lane should be Madison Rayne. I understand she works for other promotions as Lane but TNA is the larger company and thus she should have the TNA name. Also, she is Knockout Champ AND Knockout Tag Champion. So, since one can't change champion's names, she should be Madison Rayne.

Similarly, Sarah Stock should be Sarita, Nikki Roxx should be Roxxi, and Miss Ophelia should be Rosie Lottalove. Also, Roxxi should be assigned to TNA.

Kazarian should be heel in TNA with an arrogant gimmick and Flair as his manager. Homicide should AT LEAST be a tweener.

  2. I think Rocky Maivia should be The Rock. I believe he changed when he joined the Nation.

He didn't become "The Rock" until maybe when The Nation ended. At this point he was "The Rock" Rocky Maivia

Well, in that case, Triple H was "HHH" Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

Anyway, Howard Finkel still called him "The Rock" Rocky Maivia but the graphics sure said "The Rock", the commentators called him "The Rock", and his tights said "The Rock." At Wrestlemania that year, the graphic clearly says "Intercontinental Champion The Rock." IMO, that counts.

And Triple H's graphic said "HHH" IIRC.

  3. Forgive my ignorance if my information is wrong and doubly so if this has been addressed already.

Don West - upped announcing talent from 56 to 70

    Two things.

    1. I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do with wrestling until TNA in 2002. I know Russo wanted him to join WCW but he declined and anyway that approach came after the start date of this scenario.

    2. Don West sucks balls. <_<

It would accually be more plausible to delete Don from the scenario rather than inflate his stats to a level with he has never reached. I mean, if he didn't even debut until '02, why have the dumb lug in there? It's like when all the fanboys had AJ Styles in their 1995 scenarios...

  4. OK, watching some WCW on youtube, it seems like Crowbar and Flair got some good pops. Were they face or was this just do to Russo's booking. Also, it does seem like the Mamalukes were pretty heelish.

EDIT: Looking at it some more, Crowbar and Flair do seem like a heel team who just got pops.

EDIT: The Varsity Club should be heels. That's Rotundo, Rick Steiner, and Leia Meow.

  5. First of all, I appreciate all of your hard work.

    However, I have some opinions/suggestions.

---Maybe I'm just a Jerichoholic but I believe Jericho should have speed of at least 82.

---Since Mike Sanders and Crowbar are both former Cruiserweight champions, they should be listed under lightweight. If Roddy Piper is listed as British simply to have the Braveheart gimmick, this should be considered as well.

---In order to have the Boy Band gimmick, 3 count needs to have "superstar look" ticked. If not, Teen Idol would be OK. They worked as faces at this time wrestling guys like PG 13, Chavo Guerrero, and Kaz Hayashi. However, Boy Band doesn't work with faces for some reason. If you use Boy Band, you have to make them tweeneers.

---The Mamalukes should be tweeners as they wrestled Flair and Crowbar and The Harrises.

---Edge and Christian were faces until after Backlash.

---Kudos for correcting Shannon Moore's finishers.

  6. Found this article while looking for that information.

Duke Durrango calls it a day

Western Canadian veteran set to retire

By JASON CLEVETT -- SLAM! Wrestling

"Growing up in Calgary, you know about the Hart house. You would go down to the Pavilion on Fridays and watch the shows and watch TV on Saturdays."

At a guess i'd say saturday unless we can find a more reliable source.

ok thanks i will make Saturday at late night on syndicated TV

Well, maybe they showed it at a different time in Canada...

  7. Shawn Michaels (Beginning of 1997):

    Short name: HBK

    Birth Month: July

    Age: 31

    Weight: Lightweight

Written Contract with WWF as a main event face using the Show Stealer gimmick

    Stats:

    Brawling: 79

    Speed: 84

    Technical: 82

    Stiffness: 40

    Selling: 97

    Over: 97

    Charisma: 96

    Attitude: 25

    Behavior: 33

Shawn's stiffness should be around 70. Hall and Nash both said that Shawn worked stiff and expected the same in return.

Really? I was basing 40 off his current stiffness, and I've never seen him injure a guy...

Anyway, for 1993 HBK, I would probably give him something around...

    Brawling: 66

    Speed: 86

    Technical: 80

    Stiffness: 40? 70?

    Selling: 88

    Over: 68

    Charisma: 87

    Attitude: 55

    Behavior: 40

    Probably somewhere in that area...

For 1996, I really don't think it'd differ much from 1997. He didn't change much from '96 to '97, besides taking some time off due to injuries... but I mean, in-ring, he didn't change a lot. Maybe raise his speed one point, lol.

For the beginning of the year in 1996, I'd say over of around 90. By the end of the year/beginning of '97, over of around 95 to 97.

Fantastic job as usual! I just needed some insight b/c the 1993 scenario I have has all of his stats at 100 (an HBK fanboy must have made that scenario...) Thank you very much.

BTW, from looking at some of his 1996 matches on youtube, I think 65-70 stiffness would be ideal for this time period.

  8. Thanks, but doesn't "brawl" refer to other things other than the crispness of punches thrown? For example, the kinds of moves they execute, etc.

absolutely. HHH was more of a technical wrestler than a brawler in 96. he used a lot of chinlocks, armbars, abdominal stretches and leglocks. but at the same time, he wasnt as good of a technical wrestler as he was a few years later. his timing and attention to detail improved naturally as he gained experience.

Okay, that works for me. Thanks!!!

  9. Thanks, but doesn't "brawl" refer to other things other than the crispness of punches thrown? For example, the kinds of moves they execute, etc.

Oh, and his birthday isn't until July. Since he was born in 1969, he would be 26 in Jan. 96 and 30 in 2000. I don't mean to be an a-hole, I'm just sayin'.
