Was I denying that our goal shouldn't have stood? No, I wasn't. And yes, I can blame the officials, because that should have been a free kick the other way.

Would someone please mind telling me how that a fucking foul? Seriously. Fuck the Spanish, fuck the Italians, fuck the po-lice.

"Paschendale" would've been the one Maiden song I'd have mentioned and I've been beaten to it, so I'll suggest "Another Hero Lost" by Shadows Fall. Most Manowar songs are about war too

Metallica - The Black Album. If you needed to be told.
Also, while I can see the nods to Powerslave, Aces High and Two Minutes to Midnight (the pyramids, the building on the far left with the "Aces High Bar" neon sign and the digital clock reading "23:58"), I was told that there's supposed to be some reference to the Trooper and Number of the Beast in there as well which I can't see. Anyone else spot them? Also also, West Ham 7 - 3 Arsenal? lolololol, i luv u maydens but u so crazee

I didn't think much of their earlier stuff, hated their last album and quite liked "The Black Parade". Then I went along to see them at T in the Park and thought they were really good. Not sure if it was the copious amounts of alcohol consumed or the joint I smoked during their set that made me think that, but still.

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
The subtle little hints to their other songs and albums all over the place, the general futuristic feel within a familiar setting which tells you what you're getting in the album, and really I love the fact that there's so much going on in it (and also continued on the back cover, ie the left half of the image) without it feeling cluttered is awesome. I might also be biased.

I was raised on music like Alice Cooper, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, the Scorpions and Guns N' Roses. Like a lot of people, I went through phases as I grew up, but eventually came home, so to speak. My parents, mainly my dad, influenced my tastes and turned me onto a lot of artists I still love to this day, and nowadays I turn them onto a lot of the artists I listen to as well. Music's always been a huge part of my life, and even though I was likely to come back to hard rock and heavy metal, I like to think I made the choice by myself.

7/10, don't know the Dream Evil one and the Killers drag it down, otherwise solid.
Lionel Richie - All Night Long
Kings of Leon - Red Morning Light
Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark
Biffy Clyro - I'm Behind You
Prince - Purple Rain
Avantasia - Chalice of Agony
Kelly Clarkson - How I Feel
Tatu - All the Things She Said
Iron Maiden - Rainmaker
Foo Fighters - My Hero
Haha, my music collection is awesome.

5/10, only like Fear Factory and Soulfly, not a fan of Lamb of God or Disturbed and the rest are meh.
Metallica - Battery
Iron Maiden - The Assassin
Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath) - Children of the Sea
Queensryche - Eyes of a Stranger
Whitesnake - Judgement Day
Journey - Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)
Stone Sour - Bother
Iron Maiden - Phantom of the Opera
Idlewild - American English
Girls Aloud - Sound of the Underground
...I don't think anyone's gonna beat that.

Fuck it, let's all scab.

Seasick Steve.

lol at Newcastle.
Fantastic game from Arsenal and Man United, a draw was definitely the right result. Arsenal are just outstanding this season, and this is coming from a man who had practically written them off before the league started. Man U looked every bit as good today though, and you can never rule out Chelsea or Liverpool. It's all very interesting down south.

I just found out that there's a film called "Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane". Reading about it on Wiki, it sounds so bad it has to be awesome.
-
"Sexual Healing" as well >_>
"Hello" by Lionel Richie has to be up there from that genre.
-
Awesome.
Awesome.
...
Awesome.

This is a tricky one, because obviously not everyone's going to agree on one song. I suppose it's really a favourite song more than anything, no? Anyway, for me it's between two; "Winds of Change" by Scorpions, or "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden.

While my tastes are quite narrow for the most part, I've got some really eclectic tastes as well. I'll listen to everything from Graveworm to Girls Aloud.

Meh, I saw them live supporting Machine Head with Chimaira opening, and next week I'm seeing them support Heaven and Hell with Iced Earth opening. On record, Chimaira are far superior to them, and Iced Earth are better than just about everyone. I'd heard that Lamb of God were excellent live and... they didn't impress me at all. I don't know what they did to earn the Heaven and Hell main support slot to be honest. I don't know, I just don't get them.
-
Lamb Of God bore me. If you're going to do the really heavy thing, either do it interestingly (Strapping Young Lad, Khanate) or just really fucking well (Napalm Death, The Berzerker, Gorerotted), Lamb Of God do neither, and don't really interest me at all, as is the case with most metal these days.

I didn't get the chance to vote, and I didn't count exactly, but there's somewhere between 8 and 12 bands so far I like, none I'd consider myself a huge fan of though. Eh.

I'll second Keith's mention of Priestess, they're awesome.
