  1. You again? Your diaries always suck!

Jk. :D It's been awhile, eh? I've been busy and haven't been able to check this out, but I've gotta say this is way better than anything we ever did in our numerous failed split diaries. <_< I'm liking this alot. It reminds of me that first diary you did on one of the old boards, which is a good thing. The Attitude era was my favorite time in wrestling and I think this diary is like a reincarnation of it. The only thing I've seen that I was a little unsure of is The Taxman angle that you've just started up, but I'm sure I'll come to enjoy it after more is revealed. Here are my opinions on some things that were and are going on.

-The Master storyline. I actually liked it from the beginning, as again, it's borrowing from the Attitude era and I like that. Damien overall is a good heel that you've done a good job of getting over. His feud with the McMahons is very interesting. (BTW, I thought that for once, this was gonna be Stephanie-free but alas, once again your crush comes into play. <_< lol.) Anyway, I was dissapointed with Randy Orton being revealed as The Master but after I thought about it I realized that it all made sense and you had somehow kept me from even guessing that it was Orton. Good job there.

-Christian as the champ is always a plus, which is one of the reasons I've been more interested in TNA than WWE as of late.

-I'm liking the Muhammad Hassan push, although after a while the constant whining about prejudice IS gonna get old. For now though, I'm waiting for a true american to come out and beat his ass.

Keep this going, as you're doing great and it'd be pointless to stop now. I'll try to comment on every show from now on, so you atleast have SOME feedback. Looking forward to Unleashed. (H)

  2. WWE RAW

    4.18.05

LIVE from the America West Arena, in Phoenix, Arizona!

As the show begins, we see a video package showing the final seconds of the Batista-Triple H match last week, with the big man delivering the sit-out power bomb and getting the three count. We then see HHH’s angry face as the entire arena sang about his departure. Next, Chevelle’s ‘Vitamin R’, the theme of Backlash, kicks up as we see clips of Batista costing Edge his match against Chris Benoit two weeks ago and Shawn Michaels attacking Edge last week. We then see a clip of Eric Bischoff announcing that Edge would make a decision on his opponent for Backlash TONIGHT. ‘Across The Nation’ now kicks up, and the RAW introduction video plays before we cut to a LIVE shot of the arena which we pan around. The camera also allows us to catch a glimpse of what appears to be a steel cage hanging from the top of the arena.

JR:”Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Monday Night RAW! I’m Jim Ross and beside me as always is Jerry Lawler, and what a show we have in store for you!”

King:”That’s right, JR, but I have a question and I think everyone else is asking the same thing. WHY is there a steel cage hanging from the top of the arena?!”

JR:”I have no clue, King, but you know that that must mean that something big is gonna happen tonight on RAW, just one week away from Backlash!”

King:”Speaking of Backlash, tonight Edge is gonna make his decision!”

JR:”That’s right, King. Will he face Batista and use his ONE title shot, or will he face Shawn Michaels and have the opportunity to get TWO title shots?”

King:”Time will tell, JR. But--Hey, whoa. You hear that?!”

    --A Challenge

What King is referring to is the opening lines of Kid Rock’s ‘Legs’ playing over the PA system. The crowd start to go wild and Lawler joins them as STACY KEIBLER walks out onto the stage. Stacy is smiling and she waves to the crowd as she waits for the cheers to die down so she can talk into the microphone she brought with her.

King:”Man, JR, she is quite the woman!”

    JR:”Indeed she is.”

King:”She’s not your type, though. She’s not inflatable.”

Stacy:”I know most of you are wondering where my friend, Randy Orton, has been the last few weeks and I can honestly tell you that I don’t know. He won’t return my calls, and the only reason I can come up with is he’s planning to do something big. Something that would make a huge impact. And Randy, if you’re listening, I want to tell you to be careful. Don’t do anything you might regret. When I told you to make an impact a few weeks ago, I didn’t mean for you to do anything stupid. But since Randy has been gone, I’ve been thinking a lot. And I’ve realized that I want to once again become a manager. Which is why I went and hunted down two of the best athletes on the RAW roster to be my new clients. And I found two great superstars in my search. One is a former ECW World and Television champion, and the other is a former WWE Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion. And together, they are challenging the World Tag Team Champions, La Resistance, to a title match at Backlash. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my new clients, Rhyno and Tajiri, THE HOUSE OF PAIN!”

Suddenly, the ‘This Is Extreme’ ECW theme kicks up and Tajiri and Rhyno walk out next to Stacy, playing to the crowd. Together, the trio walk to the ring as they play to the crowd, and once they reach the ring their music stops.

Stacy:”And to show that these two men are capable of taking over this company, we are challenging any two men in the back to a match! Come on down and enter The House Of Pain!”

Maven’s music suddenly starts up, and Maven himself walks out along with Simon Dean. Together, they walk to the ring.

    JR:”We have ourselves a match!”

    OR:76

The House Of Pain Versus Maven and Simon Dean

This was a match designed to show off the new team of Tajiri/Rhyno, and it did it’s job. The match began with all four men in the ring, brawling, but the referee got the situation under control and Tajiri was chosen to start in the ring along with Maven. Tajiri used a variety of kicks on the first Tough Enough winner, but Maven eventually blocked one and then took over the match, working on Tajiri’s right leg with tons of submissions. Finally, Maven tagged in Simon Dean, who followed in his partner’s footsteps by beating on The Japanese Buzzsaw’s leg. However, Tajiri managed to kick Simon in the face before diving and tagging Rhyno, who charged in and GORED Simon Dean to get the early victory. Afterwards, La Resistance ran down to the ring and began brawling with The House Of Pain until security had to run down and hold the teams apart.

JR::”And it looks like La Resistance have accepted The House Of Pain’s challenge, so this Sunday at Backlash it’ll be Robert Conway and Sylvan Grenier defending their World Tag Team Championships against Tajiri And Rhyno! What a match-up.”

    --Bischoff Makes A Match

We now go to the back, where Lita and Christy Hemme are talking in a hallway.

Lita:”I mean, did you see what Trish did to me last week? Making me lose that match against Molly Holly was the last straw.”

    Christy:”You said it.”

Lita:”Which is why I’ve challenged her to a match at Backlash.”

    Christy:”Wait…what?”

Lita:”Yeah. I challenged her. So I can win her belt and beat some sense into her.”

    Christy:”But…that was my shot.”

Lita:”What do you mean, YOUR shot?! You had your chance at Wrestlemania!”

    Christy:”What is your problem?! We--”

Suddenly, Eric Bischoff pops into the picture with a big smile on his face. The girls continue arguing until he finally speaks up.

    Bischoff:”Listen…ladies. I have a proposition. How about…three way action?”

The girls look outraged at Bischoff’s comment, and Lita slaps him.

Bischoff:”OUCH! Not like that! I mean as in a three way match!”

    Lita:”…..I’m listening.”

Bischoff:”At Backlash, Trish Stratus will defend her Women’s Championship against both Christy Hemme AND Lita. How about that.”

    Christy:”Fine.”

    Lita:”Fine.”

The two ladies go their separate ways, angry at each other as Bischoff is left alone.

*Slam Of The Week: Christian hits the Unprettier on Chris Benoit last week, winning the four way number one contender match to gain a Intercontinental Title shot at Backlash.*

JR:”Welcome back to RAW, ladies and gentlemen, and the show is brought to you tonight by Pizza Hut, makers of the best pizza’s known to man.”

King:”And Playstation 2. Live in your world, play in ours.”

JR:”Up next is a tag team match that should be quite interesting considering the fact that Shelton Benjamin, who will be teaming with Chris Jericho, will be defending his Intercontinental Championship at Backlash against Christian, who tonight is teaming with his ‘Problem Solver’ known as Tyson Tomko.”

Christian and Tyson Tomko Versus Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho

This match, of course, was to hype the Christian-Shelton Benjamin Intercontinental Championship match at Backlash. All four men pulled off a decent match, and even Tomko did a good job here. Jericho started with Christian’s ‘Problem Solver’ as the match began, and got beat on for quite awhile. However, he managed to fight back by reversing an Irish Whip and knocking Tyson down with a cross body for a one count. Jericho then went to work on Tomko’s leg, so he could set up The Walls Of Jericho later. It was not to be, however, as Tomko fought back and tagged Christian. Christian went back and forth with Jericho for a while, until Y2J finally got a chance and tagged Shelton Benjamin. Christian wanted nothing to do with him, though, and tagged Tomko who came in and got knocked down by Shelton. Benjamin proceeded to beat on Tomko, until he got tired of that and THREW Tomko into Christian, counting it as a tag. Christian poked Benjamin in the eyes and went for the roll up victory, but Y2J stopped the count. Benjamin and Christian then went back and forth until finally the Intercontinental Champion fought out of the Unprettier and hit a fisherman suplex for the victory.

    Winners: Benjamin/Y2J OR:77 CR:76 MQ:78

JR:”Shelton Benjamin gets the win, and you have to wonder if this is an omen!”

King:”An omen? No way! Christian WILL win at Backlash, JR. I guarantee it!”

JR:”That remains to be seen, King, but it COULD happen.”

    --Discrimination Is Wrong

We now go backstage, where Muhammed Hassan is standing in front of the RAW logo along with Khosrow Daivari and Jim Cornette. Lillian Garcia seems to be interviewing them.

    Lillian:”Muhammed, what--”

Cornette:”Ya know what? Shut up, and get out of my way.”

Cornette shoves Lillian out of the picture and then turns to the camera.

Cornette:”Last week, that big idiot you people out there call Kane got what he deserved when I took my trusty tennis racket and I broke it over his demented skull! But please excuse me, because I know some of you don’t know who I am. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Jim Cornette, and incase you’re wondering why I’ve returned to the WWE, let me give you the simple answer. Knowing that I’m the best manager in the business, Mr. Hassan here hired me as his very own Executive Consultant.”

Hassan:”That’s right. Mr. Cornette understands me, and he knows about the kind of things that are done to me here in this country. That’s why he’s become my agent, so he can protect me from American discrimination!”

Cornette:”I’ve worked with foreigners before, and I’m glad to do it again. Muhammed Hassan is a great athlete, and he should be treated as one. He should NOT be treated like a piece of junk, but people treat him like one anyway. What a disgraceful kind of people we’ve become here in American! It’s completely disgraceful! And Kane, if you decide you wanna put your nose into my client’s business tonight, then we have a little something planned for ya in advance.”

Cornette grins as the picture fades out with Daivary translating his words into Arabian.

    --The Main Event Is Made

As we return, we get a shot of Eric Bischoff in his office, looking through some papers on his couch. Suddenly, The Coach walks in.

    Bischoff:”Ah, Coach! Has Edge arrived?”

Coach sits down next to a smiling Bischoff, and Bischoff looks at him as his smile slowly turns to a frown. Coach finally gets the point, and moves down the couch.

Coach:”No, sorry Mr. Bischoff. No one has seen him yet, and I’ve checked with security.”

Bischoff:”Damn. Backlash is THIS SUNDAY, Coach! We need a main event!”

Suddenly, the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, walks into the room and both Coach and Bischoff stand up.

Batista:”So, what’s the deal, Bischoff? Who am I facing at Backlash?”

    Bischoff:”Well…the thing is…”

Batista:”You don’t know? Bischoff, last week I humiliated Triple H in front of the entire world. Last week I showed everyone that my victory at Wrestlemania was NOT a fluke, and now I don’t have a match at Backlash? I’m the World Heavyweight Champion, damnit!”

Bischoff has turned white in fear, and Batista looks like he’s going to break him in half. Suddenly, none other than Shawn Michaels enters the room. He looks surprised to see Batista, and he goes face to face with him in front of Bischoff.

HBK:”Hey there, champ. Just swung by to talk to Eric about you. And about who you’ll be facing at Backlash. And Eric, if Edge doesn’t show up to make his decision tonight then I’d be more than happy to fight for the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday.”

    Batista:”That sounds like a challenge.”

    HBK:”Maybe it is.”

You can cut the tension with a knife at this point, and Bischoff suddenly speaks.

Bischoff:”I…I’m sure Edge will be here. In the mean time, why don’t you two go get ready. You seem so eager to fight, tonight’s main event will be Batista Versus Shawn Michaels in a non-title bout.”

Shawn Michaels nods, and then leaves. Batista goes to leave, but before he does he says one last thing to Bischoff.

Batista:”You better have answers by the end of the night.”

Bischoff is left alone, white as a ghost, with Coach who we see is now on the couch, holding the Christy Hemme Playboy issue sideways and apparently looking at her center fold. Bischoff turns to him and coughs.

Coach:”Wow. Now SHE…is fine. I’d just like to--”

Bischoff coughs louder, and Coach drops the magazine.

Coach:”Oh. Heh. Sorry, Mr. Bischoff, what were you saying?”

    Bischoff:”Go get me something.”

    Coach:”Like what?”

Bischoff:”I DON’T KNOW, JUST GO GET ME SOMETHING!”

Coach:”Okay, let’s say I went and got you SOMETHING. What would it be, exactly?”

Bischoff:”DAMNIT COACH, I DON’T KNOW! JUST GET ME SOME COFFEE OR SOMETHING!”

Coach leaves the room, and Bischoff flops onto the couch, obviously having a bad day.

JR:”Shawn Michaels Versus Batista? TONIGHT?! Bah gawd, what a match!”

King:”It should be great, JR, but what’s up with Edge? Where is he?!”

JR:”I don’t know but right now it’s time for Muhammed Hassan to take on The Hurricane. And Hassan will of course be accompanied by his ‘Executive Consultant’, Jim Cornette, who made his return to the WWE last week.”

    Muhammed Hassan Versus The Hurricane

The entire match, the announcers kept speculating on whether Kane would interfere and Muhammed Hassan looked distracted by this possibility. However, after some brawling Hassan kept his RAW undefeated streak alive due to Jim Cornette cheating and hitting Hurricane with his tennis racket when the referee wasn’t looking.

    Winner: Hassan OR:71 CR:67 MQ:75

JR:”And Hassan gets the win with the help of Jim Cornette, but King I cannot believe that the monster, Kane, didn’t show up during this--BAH GAWD, I SPOKE TOO SOON!”

    --Outsmarting The Monster

JR says that as flames burst from the stage and Kane himself emerges from behind the curtain. In the ring, The Hurricane rolls out and Muhammed Hassan is left standing in the center of it with a nervous Daivari and a wide-eyed Jim Cornette beside him. Kane looks at the trio, and then gives the cut-throat signal as we get a close-up of a scared Jim Cornette. However, Cornette breaks out of his shock and suddenly begins waving his arms in the air and screaming, ‘Bring it down now!’ over and over. Even Kane looks a little confused, though he doesn’t take his eyes off of Muhammed Hassan.

JR:”What is Cornette doing?! What’s he--wait a minute! That cage is lowering, bah gawd! That’s Cornette’s plan?!”

    King:”Apparently it is, JR!”

Indeed, the steel cage hanging from the top of the arena begins to lower as Cornette continues to motion for it to come down and Khosrow Daivari begins to scream in Arabian at Kane, who begins to walk slowly down the ramp way, smirking. Kane moves a lot faster than the cage, even though he’s walking, and Cornette notices this. Thus, as Kane reaches the end of the ramp way, Cornette grabs Daivari and throws him out of the ring into the arms of Kane!

JR:”Cornette just threw Daivari to the wolves! He just sacrificed Daivari!”

Kane finds this whole situation funny, and starts to laugh until suddenly his expression goes serious as he lifts Daivari into a military press position and then DROPS HIM ON THE CROWD BARRICADE!

JR:”OUCH! BAH GAWD, DID YOU HEAR THAT?!”

By this time, the cage is nearly lowered to the ground and Kane begins to stomp on Daivari, not even taking notice. Finally, the cage reaches the ground and Kane finally turns to it. Jim Cornette begins mocking The Big Red Machine, and the fans pop as the monster begins to climb the cage. However, this seems to be part of Cornette’s plan as he suddenly pulls out two pairs of handcuffs and reaches through the cage, handcuffing Kane’s right hand to the steel as Muhammed Hassan handcuffs the other. Kane is now hanging off the side of the cage, struggling to get out and Cornette begins to laugh along with Hassan, who opens the door to the cage and walks over to the side of the ring, pulling out a steel chair.

JR:”Bah gawd, Kane is hanging from the side of the cage! He can’t get off the cage!”

Hassan brings the chair to the spot where Kane is hanging, and he smacks the steel chair over The Big Red Machine’s back several times. WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!

    JR:”Good gawd, stop it!”

King:”Kane is really getting it, JR!”

Suddenly, Lita comes running from the back but Jim Cornette runs out and goes to stop her. She tackles him, though, and then grabs Muhammed Hassan’s steel chair. He rips it back out of her hands, however, and then SMACKS IT OVER THE HEAD OF LITA! Kane has twisted his head to watch this, and he is now completely pissed off. Hassan begins taunting him, and suddenly The Big Red Machine breaks his right hand free, grabbing Hassan by the throat with the hand before slamming him into the steel cage. Hassan is dazed, and this allows Kane to take a few steps up the cage. The monster then JUMPS OFF the side of the cage, using his weight to break the other pair of handcuffs and clotheslining Hassan in the process!

JR:”Bah gawd, this is brutal! Kane just used all his weight to break free from the cage, and he used that same weight to plow down Muhammed Hassan, after that bastard hit Lita over the head with the steel chair!”

Kane is hurt badly, but he bends over Lita anyway to check on her. While The Big Red Machine does this, however, Hassan recovers and picks up the dented steel chair before crashing it over the skull of Kane from behind! Kane does not go down, though, and instead he stands up before grabbing Hassan by the throat and smashing his face into the side of the steel cage. Kane now begins to pummel Hassan with rights and lefts, until finally security makes it’s long overdue appearance. A group of medics also come out to tend with Lita, and the security guards swarm Kane, grabbing him from behind. The monster is on a unstoppable rampage, however, and he begins to beat the hell out of the guards with rights and lefts. Meanwhile, a recovered Jim Cornette begins to drag Muhammed Hassan to the back, with Daivari stumbling after them. Kane is blinded with rage and doesn’t notice, though, and he continues to fight the security guards until finally a voice is heard.

    Voice:”Stop! Kane, stop!”

Suddenly, none other than Eric Bischoff appears on the titan tron, an angry look on his face.

Bischoff:”Listen, I know you’re angry. But please, stop before someone is KILLED! And if you do stop…if you leave those poor men alone…then I can give you something you want VERY badly. I can give you a match with Muhammed Hassan at Backlash. Not just any match, but a No Holds Barred, STEEL CAGE Match!”

Kane seems to like the idea, and he gets a sadistic smile on his face as he nods slowly.

Bischoff:”Then it’s settled. And to Muhammed Hassan….I say this…..*We get a close-up of Bischoff who looks very serious* may god have mercy on your soul.”

Hassan, Cornette, and Daivari all look worried and hurt, but Kane is still smiling and nodding, with the bodies of several security guards all around him.

    OR:74

JR:”Jesus, what a hellacious match that is gonna be this Sunday at Backlash, if what just happened happens again at Backlash! Bah gawd, Kane is a MONSTER!”

King:”What about Lita? What about the puppies?! She’s hurt!”

    --I Can’t Believe I Let That Happen

As we return from the break, we see Eric Bischoff in his office with The Coach. They are both sitting on Bischoff’s leather couch, and Bischoff himself looks more stressed than ever. Coach, meanwhile, is eating a turkey sandwich which is overloaded with mayo and lettuce.

Bischoff:”How could I have let that happen? Damnit, I can’t even control my superstars.”

Coach:”*His mouth full* Dghonght whgory Mghster Bisghgoff, ygho--”

Bischoff:”You know what, Coach? Don’t even bother trying to comfort me. I mean, I guess it could be worse though. Theodore Long over on Smackdown got his ASS KICKED last week. Talk about not being able to control your own superstars. I mean, what--”

Suddenly, the phone that is sitting next to Bischoff starts to ring and he picks it up.

Bischoff:”Hello, general manager of RAW……What? Edge is here?! It’s about damn time! And--what? HE’S here as well? That’s perfect. Just perfect. Tell Edge I want his decision to be made in the ring, and tell HIM to get in my office immediately.”

Bischoff hangs up the phone, and looks at Coach who is wildly trying to keep his sandwich in his hands. However, mayonnaise is flying everywhere and pieces of lettuce are dropping to the ground rapidly.

    Bischoff:”Our problems are solved.”

Bischoff smiles and the scene fades out.

    OR:82

JR:”Welcome back to RAW, folks, and what is Bischoff talking about exactly?”

King:”I hope it’s a new RAW diva! Puppies!”

JR:”Well it is now time for our main event, and Edge has not yet announced his opponent at Backlash. But from what we just saw, it appears that he is here!”

King:”Let’s go to the ring, though, JR. It’s Shawn Michaels Versus Batista in a non-title match. This should be good!”

    Batista Versus Shawn Michaels

The match started with both men staring each other down, and when they finally locked up Batista got the advantage, scoop slamming HBK to the mat. Michaels got right back up, though, and blocked a right hand before throwing Batista across the ring and into the corner. Shawn then went for a Stinger Splash, but Batista got out of the way before clotheslining HBK. The two then went back and forth like this for a good ten minutes, while the announcers speculated on Edge’s location. Finally, Edge made his way to the ring to no music and walked around ringside while watching the match. Then, when HBK had Batista set up for the Sweet Chin Music, Edge grabbed his leg and Shawn was distracted. Batista then hit the sit-out power bomb on Michaels for the three count. Afterwards, Edge slid into the ring and delivered a devastating SPEAR to The Heartbreak Kid.

    Winner: Batista OR:79 CR:81 MQ:75

JR:”And Batista gets the win, thanks to Edge! Does this mean Edge has decided to face Shawn Michaels at Backlash?!”

    --Making An Impact

Edge, after spearing HBK, now gets in Batista’s face. The two begin badmouthing each other until suddenly ‘Back In Black’ by AC/DC starts to play and Eric Bischoff walks out to a mixed reaction. Bischoff walks down to the ring, smiling, and when he gets in he starts to talk into a microphone he brought with him.

Bischoff:”And now, it’s time for what everyone in this arena has been waiting for. Edge, please, tell us who you have chosen to face at Backlash. And remember, if you choose Batista that is the only title shot you’ll be getting for the foreseeable future. But if you choose to face Shawn Michaels, then you get the opportunity to get TWO title shots. Which do you want, then, Edge?”

Edge is given a microphone from someone at ringside, and he pauses for a moment before speaking.

Edge:”Well, I think what I just did sums up my answer. I have waited MY WHOLE LIFE to get a title shot, and every time I got close the conspiracy against Edge would push me back down the ladder. Well NO MORE! At Backlash, I will face Shawn Michaels and I WILL finish what started so many months back. And then, I’ll go on to beat Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. And, since I beat ol’ HBK, I’d have two opportunities to do it. One would be in the main event of the RAW after Backlash, and one would be on a date of my choosing. And I KNOW that you cannot beat me twice, CHAMP.”

Edge smiles sarcastically at Batista, who is looking all too serious as he snatches Edge’s microphone away.

Batista:”Well then, I guess that’s settled. But what about me, Bischoff? What about the World Heavyweight Champion?”

Bischoff:”That has been taken care of, Batista. You see, a couple of days ago I got a phone call from an old friend of yours, who was looking to make an impact. And I guaranteed him a World Heavyweight Title shot…at Backlash. Batista, please welcome your opponent for Backlash….”

Suddenly, to a mixed reaction, some familiar music kicks up as suddenly none other than RANDY ORTON appears on the stage, doing his signature pose and smiling. Orton is holding a microphone and wearing street clothes, and he keeps staring at Batista as he makes his way to the ring. He then slides in as his music dies down.

Orton:”That’s right, big man. It’s me, your old pal Randy Orton. And at Backlash, I’m going to win back MY World Heavyweight Championship and prove to everyone that I am BETTER than you. In fact, I’m better than ANYONE in this arena. I am Randy Orton, and I am the future. I--”

Edge:”Hold on a second. You say you’re better than anyone in this arena? Well, uh, last time I checked I WON my match at Wrestlemania and you LOST. I’m the one that deserves that championship. You had it, and you lost it.”

Orton looks angry, and he turns to the crowd before suddenly turning back and hitting the RKO on Edge! Batista goes for a big clothesline on Randy, but Orton ducks and gives the World Heavyweight Champion an RKO of his own. Bischoff, meanwhile, bails out of the ring to protect himself. Orton now picks up the World Heavyweight Championship and poses with it, and suddenly RIC FLAIR comes running down the ramp way.

JR:”Here comes Ric Flair! He’ll teach Randy Orton a lesson!”

But as Flair slides into the ring, Orton turns to him and The Nature Boy doesn’t attack. He simply rolls out of the ring and then begins walking up the ramp as the crowd actually boo him.

JR:”What the--Flair wouldn’t attack Randy Orton! The hell?!”

King:”Well he hasn’t exactly pledged his allegiance to Batista, JR! Ever think that maybe he wants to team up with his other former Evolution stable mate, Randy Orton?”

    JR:”But, but, no damnit!”

King:”No matter how much you curse, JR, it doesn’t matter! Randy Orton will be fighting Batista at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Championship, and my bet is on Randy!”

Orton continues to pose in the ring as the fans boo and RAW goes off the air.

This week, RAW comes to you LIVE from Phoenix, Arizona!

Last week, Eric Bischoff gave Edge the opportunity to choose his own opponent for Backlash. Tonight, he makes that decision. If he was to choose Batista, he would only get that one title shot until Eric Bischoff felt that he deserved another one. However, if Edge decides to face Shawn Michaels at Backlash then he gets the opportunity to win a title shot for the next night's RAW. That would mean he'd have TWO title shots. Edge will make this decision LIVE in Phoenix.

Also, last week Jim Cornette returned to the WWE and attacked Kane to save Khosrow Daivari from a brutal beat-down. Daivari's client, Muhammed Hassan, will return this week and Jim Cornette will explain his actions. Also, The Big Red Machine will no doubt be looking to get revenge.

Just one week away from Backlash, RAW is sure to be action-packed!

  5. Let me first say that you are doing an excellent job writing this diary. I truly feel as if I'm reading a TNA results report.

I guess the first thing I should comment on here is Rowdy Roddy Piper's intro as the new 'power' in NWA. I don't really like Piper, but I guess there weren't very many other choices, so it's okay in my book.

The X-Division championship match got a 100% quality in EWR, and you made the match seem like a 100% quality match. It's nice to see you doing that, as it adds realism to the writing. Also, I'd like to see a Daniels push at some point. ;)

The JJ/JL match was a great read, and I loved how it ended in a draw at the end, as you kind of hinted to when Piper set the time limit at fifteen minutes. Go Jerry Lynn! :D

I don't really watch TNA, but I'm pretty sure Steve Corino isn't in the promotion so it's good to see him getting recognized in your diary. But why the hell is JUDY BAGWELL getting involved in The King Of Old School's feud with Buff Bagwell? <_<

The main event was a good read, and I actually like Malice as champion. His match with Ken Shamrock next week should be quite the read.

Overall, this was a good show though I'm not really familiar with TNA. I'll be reading and reviewing the next show. :)

  6. Note: William Regal has been injured, and will be out for a month. I had a feud brewing for Regal and Tajiri after Regal turned last week, but now that's messed up. Also, I couldn't fit all my segments into EWR so that's why the first segment doesn't have a rating. Enjoy the show. :D

    WWE RAW

    4.11.05

LIVE from the Thomas And Mack Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada

As the show opens, we get a shot of Eric Bischoff in his office. Beside him is The Coach. They seem to be in the middle of a conversation.

Bischoff:”So what I want you to do, is find out if Edge is going to use his number one contender contract to face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash. And I need to find out quick, Coach. Over on Smackdown, Teddy Long has already announced that John Cena will be defending the WWE Championship against Kurt Angle at Backlash. And now, people are already looking forward to Smackdown’s side of the show more than RAW’s. I can’t have that, Coach. I just can’t have that. We need to get a main event set as soon as possible.”

Coach:”I understand, Mr. Bischoff. I’ll get right to work on that. But, uh, what if Edge doesn’t make a decision?”

Bischoff sighs, and rubs his forehead before looking back at Coach.

    Bischoff:”Then I guess we’ll have to improvise.”

Suddenly, none other than Shawn Michaels bursts into the office to cheers from the live crowd.

Bischoff:”Excuse me, Shawn, but what right do you have to bust into my office like this?!”

Michaels:”Bischoff, listen. At Wrestlemania 21, when Kurt Angle beat me in the middle of the ring, I realized something. I’m fading out. HBK is getting a little old. H--”

    Coach:”*Laughing* You just noticed that?”

Michaels:”That’s why I want a World Heavyweight Title shot at Backlash. I want to see whether or not I can still hang with young guys like Batista. Give me that chance, Eric, please.”

Bischoff:”As much as I love to see the great HBK beg, the answer is no. And the reason is quite simple. Edge still holds the contract that states he can face the World Heavyweight Champion at any time in the next year. And being that it is very likely that he will use that contract to face Batista at Backlash, I can’t give you a shot, Shawn.”

Michaels:”So…wait a minute. You’re gonna give the shot to some punk kid, instead of The Showstopper?”

Bischoff:”It really isn’t my decision, Shawn. Now, if for some reason Edge did not use his contract to face Batista at Backlash, then I might consider it but--”

Michaels:”That’s all I needed to hear.”

HBK smiles and walks out of the room as Bischoff sighs. The Coach comes up beside him, and puts his hand on his shoulder. Slowly, Bischoff turns and stares at Coach, who keeps staring out into space before finally snapping out of it when Eric loudly coughs.

Coach:”Oh…right. I’ll get to work on that Edge situation, sir.”

    Bischoff:”Thank you.”

Coach walks out of the room, leaving the general manager alone in his office.

‘Across The Nation’ begins to play as the introduction video for RAW is shown. We then cut to a shot of the LIVE arena, where pyro explodes from the stage. We then pan around to look at the fans, catching glimpses of signs such as ‘Game Over’ and ‘Goodbye Trips’.

JR:”Welcome to Monday Night RAW! We are coming to you live from the Thomas and Mack Center, here in Las Vegas, Nevada!”

King:”And man it’s great to be here, JR. Did you see the women that walk around in this city?!”

    JR:”I’m a married man, King.”

King:”Sure, but you know what they say. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Ha ha!”

JR:”Well in any event, tonight Triple H will be challenging the man who beat him at Wrestlemania, Batista, for the World Heavyweight Championship. And if he loses, he’s fired!”

King:”What would RAW be without The Game?”

JR:”Much better than it would be if he stayed, in my opinion. But anyway, tonight we will also see four great athletes in the same ring at the same time. Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian, and Matt Hardy will all be competing in a four corners match-up, and the winner will go to Backlash to face Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Championship.”

King:”And don’t forget, JR, we may very well find out tonight if Edge will challenge Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash.”

JR:”That’s right, King, but from what we saw moments ago it looks as if Shawn Michaels is ALSO looking to face Batista at Backlash. But right now we are going to see two of the greatest female athletes in the WWE, Molly Holly and Lita, square off in the first match of the night.”

King:”Speaking of Lita, did you see what happened last week here on RAW, JR?”

JR:”If you’re referring to the incident involving Muhammed Hassan, then yes.”

King:”I’ll tell ya, if Lita can’t beat you up then her husband can.”

JR:”For those of you who missed last week’s RAW, take a look at what we’re talking about.”

    *Taken from WWE RAW; 4.4.05*

Lita:”Listen…I think you better just back off.”

Muhammed:”Why deny your attraction to me? I--”

Lita:”Really…I don’t want to see you get hurt.”

Muhammed:”Oh, so you’re into that, huh? Very well, we can--”

    Lita:”I’m serious, you better stop!”

    Muhammed:”(Laughs) Ah, but you see--”

Suddenly, flames burst from the stage and Daivari humorously falls out of the ring as the monster known as KANE emerges from behind the curtain.

JR:”Good gawd almighty! From the fiery depths of hell, Kane is here!”

The Big Red Machine sprints down the aisle, and Muhammed Hassan throws off his turban as Kane slides into the ring. Hassan goes to hit the monster, but Kane catches his hand and twists it around, looking like he is going to break Hassan’s wrist. Kane then wraps his hand around the Arabian’s throat, and Chokeslams him to the mat!

JR:”Hassan just got choke slammed to hell by the monster!”

Kane is not done though, and Christy Hemme along with Lita watch as he picks up Muhammed and throws him to the outside of the ring. Daivari enters the ring with a steel chair, but to a pop Lita and Christy double drop kick it back into his face. Kane is still set on hurting Hassan, and he steps out of the ring before picking up Muhammed and military pressing him onto the crowd barricade. Kane then takes apart the steel stairs, and grabs Hassan before putting him into position for a tombstone.

JR:”Bah gawd, this could end Hassan’s career!”

King:”What are you talking about?! It could end his LIFE!”

Kane drops Hassan on his head with the maneuver his brother, The Undertaker, created and the crowd immediately start up a ‘HOLY SHIT!’ chant. Kane’s music then hits, as Lita and Christy join him on the outside of the ring. Together, they all walk to the back.

Last week, Eric Bischoff signed a match for the week's RAW in which Batista will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against The Game, Triple H. However, if Triple H loses he is FIRED. Will The Cerebral Assasin keep his job?

The General Manager also has signed a four corners match to take place this week, in which Matt Hardy, Christian, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit will all compete. The winner will go on to face Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Championship on April 24'th at Backlash!

Also, last week Kane almost ended Muhammed Hassan's career after Hassan hit on Kane's wife, Lita. Hassan will not be there in Las Vegas, but his manager known as Khosrow Daivari will. Will Daivari have something up his sleeve to get revenge on The Big Red Machine?

    LIVE from Los Angeles!

As RAW begins, we get a shot of RAW general manager Eric Bischoff in his office. He is talking on the phone to someone as we enter the room.

Bischoff:”Yes…Yes, I know…Well you can’t honestly tell me that you think John Cena winning the WWE championship was a bigger event than RAW’s animal, Batista, winning the World Heavyweight Championship….No, Teddy, I’m not ‘hating’ on your champion….Will you just--”

Suddenly, Bischoff’s door bursts open and none other than the FORMER World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H, storms into the room.

Bischoff:”Hey, Teddy, I’ll call you back.”

Bischoff hangs up his phone, and stares at a fuming Triple H.

HHH:”Bischoff…I think we both know that what happened last night shouldn’t of happened. I am the game, I am the best damn champion that RAW has ever had, and Batista is NOBODY. He’s nobody, Bischoff. And I think you know what has to happen. I want a rematch, here tonight on RAW.”

Bischoff sighs, and flips through some papers on his desk.

Bischoff:”Hunter…listen. I’m the general manager of RAW. It’s my duty to make sure that RAW puts out a good show each and every week. If I don’t do my duty, Linda McMahon is upset. If Linda McMahon is upset, the board of directors is upset. If the board of directors is upset, I get fired. Batista happens to be the most popular champion RAW has had since ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in 1999. So, somehow, I think you’re a little mixed up when you call him a ‘nobody’. And listen, Hunter, as much as I’d like to see you two put on a great match again like you did last night, I’ve already given Batista the night off. Now, if you’ll excuse--”

HHH:”Listen, Bischoff! I don’t give a damn! I have a rematch clause in my contract, and I want to use it. There’s not a damn thing you can do about it!”

Bischoff:”Ah, but there is. See, there’s no particular date attached to that clause, so you may get the rematch, but you get it when I say you get it. Hunter, ever since you came to RAW and became Champion, all I’ve seen you do is whine and occasionally defend the belt. But now…you don’t have the belt. So tell me, Hunter, what do you have to offer here on RAW?”

HHH:”Don’t play games with me, I--”

Bischoff:”I am NOT playing games. But I’ll make you a deal. Next week, you’ll face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. But if you lose…you are fired.”

Triple H stares at Bischoff, nods his head, and then walks out.

‘Across The Nation’ begins to play, and we cut to the opening video for RAW. Then pyro explodes from the stage as we cut to a LIVE shot of the arena. The camera pans around to see the thousands who have attended the show as we are welcomed by our hosts.

JR:”Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW! I’m Jim Ross and beside me as always is Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler! And goshdarnit, King, what a night Wrestlemania 21 was!”

King:”Man, JR, it was unbelievable. But the biggest moment of them all was the animal, Batista, finally capturing the World Heavyweight Championship! And from what we just saw, Triple H isn’t happy about it.”

JR:”But I know someone who IS happy, and his name is Edge.”

King:”That’s right, because last night he won the six man ‘Money In The Bank’ ladder match, and now he has a one-way ticket to a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. And it’s good for upto a year, so we could see Edge fighting for the title at Wrestlemania 22!”

JR:”I may not like Edge, but he went through hell last night, and what a match it’ll be if Edge decides to meet Batista…say, tonight!”

King:”But, remember, Edge already has a match.”

JR:”That’s right, folks. We’re gonna be seeing Edge take on one of his opponents from last night, Chris Benoit, in that very ring!”

--It could happen at any time

Suddenly, Batista’s music kicks up and the World Heavyweight Champion himself walks out from behind the curtain, wearing a suit with sunglasses and holding the World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. He smiles at the crowd, who are going nuts, and then walks to the ring. He slides into the squared circle, and is then given a microphone.

Batista:”Triple H said I couldn’t do it. Ric Flair said I WOULDN’T do it. But last night, at Wrestlemania 21, I took the World Heavyweight Championship. I played the game, and I beat it. *Pop* Last night, I proved to the world that I am better than Triple H. And as your champion, I plan to face all challengers, and I plan to beat them. They call me The Animal, and when I step into this ring, that’s who I become. The Animal. When I step into this ring with another person, I hurt them. And--”

Suddenly, ‘You Think You Know Me’ is heard and the fans immediately start to boo as Edge’s music starts to play and he walks out to the ring in his wrestling tights and a ‘Edge’ T-Shirt. However, he stops at the end of the ramp way and starts to speak into a microphone he brought with him as his music dies down.

Edge:”Batista, I wouldn’t go talking about how great a champion you are just yet. Last night, you beat one guy. I beat six. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but you’ve never won a six man match have you? Well let me tell you…it’s brutal . But I survived it, and now I have a contract that says I can face you anywhere at any time. You may be The Animal, but I am the hunter. You won’t know when, and you won’t know where, but somewhere down the line I am going to kick your ass and take that World Heavyweight Championship. Because that’s what I deserve. I deserve to be respected. You and all your little buddies here on RAW think you can hold me back and keep me from claiming what belongs to me, but you’re wrong. Just like I did last night, I will over come the odds and I WILL win that title. You just watch your back…because I’m coming. I’m coming.”

Edge’s music hits again, and he walks back up the ramp, on the way having a stare down with Batista.

After the last match, we cut backstage where The Coach is standing by with Shawn Michaels, who is dressed in street clothes.

Coach:”Shawn, after the hellacious match you had with Kurt Angle last night, what is running through your mind?”

Shawn:”Well, Coach, you lose some and you win some. Kurt Angle is a great athlete, and he just plain outwrestled The Heartbreak Kid. Do I like his attitude? No. Do I respect him as a wrestler? Yes. He’s a great wrestler, and I’m not ashamed to say that I lost to him.”

Coach:”But what about the future? What’s next for The Heartbreak Kid?”

Shawn:”Coach…you never know what lies at the end of the road until you get there. What’s next for ol’ HBK? I can’t tell you that for sure. But I CAN tell you that this is not the last you’ll see of Shawn Michaels. Not at all.”

    --Everybody’s After Benjamin

The King is correct, as Christian’s music starts to play and he walks to the ring in his ‘Captain Charisma’ boxing jacket along with his ‘Problem Solver‘, Tyson Tomko and the Women‘s Champion, Trish Stratus. He slides into the ring before taking off his jacket, and is then handed a microphone by Trish.

Christian:”My name is Christian. And last night…I lost the six man ‘Money In The Bank’ ladder match. *Pop* But the only reason I lost, was because while Edge was getting the suitcase with the contract in it for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, I was busy kicking everybody else’s asses. I may not have gotten the suitcase in time, but last night I proved that I am better than Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Kane, and Edge combined. And that’s why I want my shot at the Intercontinental Title. I deserve it more than anyone else in this company. I am CAPTAIN CHARISMA! Suddenly, the countdown starts on the titan tron and the crowd goes nuts as it hits zero and Chris Jericho’s music hits. Jericho himself makes his way to the ring, and then slides in. He smacks Trish on the ass as he enters, and she looks disgusted as Christian yells at him. Y2J is then handed a microphone as his music dies down.

Y2J:”Christian, will you PLEASE *Crowd chants along* SHUT…THE HELL…UP! What makes you think you deserve a title shot more than Y2J, junior?”

Christian:”My name is Captain Charisma, not ‘junior’!”

Y2J:”Captain Charisma? I’ve seen wooden planks that were more charismatic than you. And the funny thing is, you think you’re good with women. Well I hate to spoil the surprise, but that thing beside you is not a woman. No. She is a trash bag HO! *Pop*”

Trish is pissed and starts yelling at Jericho.

Y2J:”That’s right. Big Tyson Tomko there beside you is the only WOMAN in this ring.”

The crowd go nuts, and Tomko looks just as pissed as Trish.

Christian:”Shut up, Jericho. If you have a problem with me, then show some guts and take it up with ME. Not my lovely girlfriend or my ‘Problem Solver’. “

Jericho:”Alright, fine. Here’s the deal, junior. I want a shot at the Intercontinental championship, and I plan to get it. And when I do, you people will never…EEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVER…see that title around anybody else’s waist but mine A-GAIN.”

Suddenly, ‘Whatever’ by Our Lady Peace hits and Chris Benoit walks to the ring to a pop, wearing his wrestling gear and holding a microphone. He slides in and begins to speak as his music dies down.

Benoit:”Hold on just a second, Chris. You wanna talk aboot people who deserve title shots? I’ve been busting my ass to get a chance to win a championship. If anybody deserves this title shot, it’s me.”

Jericho:”Wait a minute, Mr. Roboto. I think you’ve lost more than your front tooth if you think that you’re getting a title shot before The Ayatollah Of Rock And Rolla.”

Christian:”Both of you need to be quiet. It’s obvious that I’m the one that deserves a shot at the title! I‘m the one that the peeps all want to see!”

The three start arguing back and forth, with Trish even joining in until ‘I’m Back’ is heard, and ‘Back In Black’ by AC/DC starts to play. The General Manager of RAW, Eric Bischoff, then walks out on to the stage with a microphone to a mixed reaction.

Bischoff:”Now, now, children. Must we bicker? I mean, each one of you is a great superstar and I myself think that you all deserve a shot at the title. But…I just can’t give a shot to all of you. So here is my proposition. Next week, here live on RAW, there will be a four corners match. All of you will be involved, and the winner will go on to Backlash to face Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Championship. Thank you, and--”

    Christian:”Wait, who’s the fourth guy?”

Bischoff:”Oh…I think you know him quite well.”

Christian then applied a headlock, which Matt eventually fought out of. However, Christian regained the advantage again, beating on Matt with stomps. He then went up for a flying elbow drop, but Hardy moved out of the way and Christian hit the mat. They went back and forth for the remainder of the match, and after several attempts to cheat his way to victory, Captain Charisma got caught with the Twist Of Fate for the three count. Daivari looks disappointed, and Christy and Lita look disgusted. Lita takes Christy’s microphone.

    --It’s Your Fault

As we come back from the break, we see Triple H sitting on a black leather couch in his dressing room, fuming. Suddenly, Ric Flair comes in holding a cup of coffee.

Flair:”Here you go, champ, this’ll make ya feel better.”

    HHH:”What’d you just say?”

    Flair:”I said this’ll--”

    HHH:”No…what did you call me?”

    Flair:”Cham--”

Suddenly, Flair goes wide eyed as Triple H stands up.

    Flair:”Hey, I didn’t mean--”

HHH:”You know what, Ric? This is all your fault.”

    Flair:”My fault? But cha--I mean Game, I didn’t--”

HHH:”Where the hell were you last night? You could’ve done something!”

    Flair:”But--”

HHH:”SHUT UP! You could’ve made sure that I came out of that match, STILL the World Heavyweight Champion.”

Flair:”Just like you could’ve saved me from getting the shit beaten out of me by Batista a couple of weeks ago?”

HHH:”I figured you could handle it, you--”

Flair:”Well, at Wrestlemania 21 I figured YOU could handle it.”

HHH:”Quit being a jackass, Ric. We--”

Flair:”I’m a jackass? I’M a jackass?! I’ve been watching out for you for what? Three years? I’ve been following your orders and helping you retain the title that you lost last night. And now you try to blame me for YOUR mistake? I’ve been telling you all along that you have to know when to step down and pass the torch to the future. Batista IS the future. But you just couldn’t pass the torch, could you Hunter? You just wanted to hold onto it until the flame died out. You’re a real piece of work.”

HHH:”Don’t get pissed at me, old man. I--”

    Flair:”You know what…”

    Flair suddenly smiles.

    Flair:”Shut up.”

HHH:”WHAT did you just say to me?”

Flair:”I said SHUT UP! S-H-U-T-WOOO!-U-P! Find a new lackey, Hunter, ‘cause The Nature Boy has left the building!”

Flair throws the coffee cup he brought for HHH at the wall, and it smashes as Flair walks out of the room and slams the door. HHH screams in rage, looks around to find no one to yell at, and then sits back down, his head in his hands.

JR:”Folks, it looks like Ric Flair is done with The Game!”

King:”Things are just not going well for him, JR.”

JR:”No, but things ARE going well for Edge, who last night won the six man ‘Money In The Bank’ ladder match. And he now has a contract that allows him to face the World Heavyweight Champion at any time in the next year. But right now he is going to be facing Chris Benoit!”

    Edge Versus Chris Benoit

Match started off with a good technical showcase, with Benoit locking Edge in a variety of submissions. Edge fought back, though, and started to play dirty, poking Benoit in the eyes and delivering low blows when the referee wasn’t looking. However, Benoit stayed in the match, nearly winning after locking Edge in the Crossface in the middle of the match. Finally, when it seemed both men were evenly matched, Edge caught Benoit with a Spear out of nowhere. However, Batista emerged from the back with his World Heavyweight title distracting Edge. This allowed Benoit to lock Edge in the Crippler Crossface in the middle of the ring. Not able to escape, Edge tapped out. Afterwards, Batista stood at the end of the ramp way smiling while Edge stayed in the ring, pulling his hair out and screaming in rage.

    Winner: Chris Benoit OR:84 CR:87 MQ:79

JR:”Batista just cost Edge that match, King, and Edge is NOT happy about it!”

King:”Oh man. Batista is gonna get it next week.”

JR:”We’ll see about that, King, but folks, that’s all for tonight. For Jerry Lawler, I’m JR. Good night.”

  12. Hello, and welcome to yet another one of my diaries. Except this one I will be doing with a partner. Some of you may remember him, as my split diary with him on EWB 3 got nominated for 'Best Split' in the EWB diary awards. I will be taking control of RAW, and goodieuk will be taking control of Smackdown. We will be starting the diary from April 4, the day after Wrestlemania 21. We will be trying to keep things as realistic as possible, so you won't see AJ Styles popping up on the first or second show or anything. Nor will you see Vince Russo booking or anything of that sort. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we will writing it, and we appreciate feedback, though we won't beg for it. Here are the WM results.

  13. Good show. However, why weren't there any ratings for the segments?

Big Show interfering in the cage match makes me think that you're setting up a three way match, and Eddie Vs Show Vs Raven doesn't sound very good to me. It just seems weird since they're all so different from eachother. Show is a seven foot monster, Eddie is a high flying latino, and Raven is a hardcore brawler.

  14. I, like Baby Hewey, am reading this for the first time. It's obvious that you have put a lot of work into this diary, and haven't really gotten much credit for it. In my opinion, you are doing an excellent job with this. No Mercy was an awesome show, and I loved seeing Raven come out as the champion. Hopefully he gets a good reign. Not sure I like The New Age Outlaws reforming in this diary, as I think both Road Dogg and Billy Gunn are past their prime. The Outsiders will forever be a legendary team, but I also think bringing them in may have been a bad idea. I mean, they're not exactly in their primes either. However, I am liking the Jericho-Benoit feud. Good stuff.

I'll be checking SmackDown out, and giving my opinions.

  15. NON-"RUMBLE" MATCHES

    1. Pick the winner: Chris Benoit v. Molly Holly

I really hope Molly doesn't win. I mean, sure this Holly push was interesting for awhile, but that would be taking it too far in my opinion.

    2. Pick the winner: Matt Hardy v. Eddie Guerrero

    3. Pick the winner: La Résistance v. Booker T and Scott Hall

    4. Who pins whom? Grenier pins Hall

    5. Pick the winner: Ron Simmons v. Nathan Jones

    6. Who, if anyone, will be Simmons's manager? None

    7. Pick the winner: Alexis Laree v. Jackie Gayda

    8. Pick the winner: Ron Killings v. Jose Maximo

    BONUS MOMENTS

    9. When someone retires, either they pass the torch or they get beaten up as a goodbye. Which will happen?

I'm not really sure here...the Orton attack seems too obvious...I'll say he passes the torch.

    10. Who will be involved in it? Hogan, Edge

    11. Of the following three options, which will describe the outcome of Kidman's decision:

    A. He joins Undertaker to be reunited with Torrie

    B. He recovers Torrie from Undertaker

    C. He leaves Torrie and goes on his own

    THE ROYAL RUMBLE

12 and 13. Who drew #1 and #2? (Answers will be considered interchangeable.) Bull Buchanan and Ultimo Dragon

    14. Who drew #30? Rey Misterio

    15. Who wins? Edge

    16. Who is second? Chris Jericho

17 and 18. Who finishes third and fourth? (Answers will be considered interchangeable.) Kurt Angle and Rey Misterio

    19. Who will spend the most time in the ring? Edge

    20. Who will be credited with the most eliminations? Kane

    21. How often will only one person be in the ring (apart from, obviously, the very end)? Twice

    22. One person advertised for the Rumble will withdraw. Who? Chris Harris

    23. Who will be picked to replace that person?

    Sting

  16. This game is the shit. Greatest football game I have ever played. The detail and awesome game modes are backed up by what I believe to be the best gameplay engine out there. But hey, that's just my opinion. I'm 5-0 in Franchise with the Packers, and am having a great time. I also have some great stories.

For instance, I was playing a buddy as the Ravens against his Lions, and had the greatest game I have ever played in any football game. Ever. It started out 0-0 with my defense line overpowering him, but due to my defender's low speed, he managed make his way down the field. As he prepared his last play that would surely give him a quick touchdown, I put the double coverage on Roy Williams and got the interception to give me control. However, my friend had plans to win, and back and forth we went, interception after interception until finally, late in the second quarter, I scored a 22 yard touchdown. With 1:00 until halftime, my friend drove the ball down the field and with ten seconds to halftime, Joey Harrington connected with Roy Williams, despite double coverage, to score and then tie the game with a field goal. In the second half, we both managed to score two more times and then, tied, I had the pleasure of facing fourth down with seven seconds left and 58 yards to kick for a field goal. I kicked, and it was good, but, and this is the whole truth, I was charged with a holding penalty. We would go to overtime. My friend once again drove it down the field, but I managed to snatch what would be the last interception of the day. I made it only a few yards before being tackled, and then threw a long, long pass to my reciever which was fumbled. The Lions recovered the ball, and my friend then scored three points with a field goal to win the game.
