  1. Most Played

Well, I got an entire summer out of the Mass Effect series, and I played Dragon Age: Origins for the first couple of months. So, BioWare wins out here.

    Impressed

I added a PlayStation 3 to my collection of consoles, and what impressed me was Heavy Rain and LittleBigPlanet. But the most impressive thing in my opinion overall was the multiplayer of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Aside from long loading times, the game itself was well-executed.

    Disappointed

Resistance: Fall of Man. I got it with my PS3 as I had always loved Insomniac Games titles on PS1 and PS2 (Spyro and Ratchet). But Resistance was just terrible to me. There were better first-person shooters out there. Traded it in for Medal of Honor. lol.

    Better than expected

EA's Medal of Honor was actually better than I had expected. I actually felt that the gameplay had a better experience than the repetitive year-after-year Call of Duty series. I thought Medal of Honor was going to be terrible but it exceeded my expectations.

    Honourable Mentions

Fable III and Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga. I love RPG's haha.

  2. Not really. I never showed preference for one over the other. Xbox's approach can be more 'addictive', or 'goal-setting'. But some games you could waste your time chasing after 1,000 points to a meaningless number, when its just an awful game. Like LOST: The Video Game. Nintendo try to keep you hooked by making ALL of their games as fun as possible. Neither of these approaches work ALL the time though. Different games have different audiences. Personally, I prefer RPG's.

  3. It's really all psychological about risk and reward. With Xbox 360, you'll sacrifice your time to play games, and be rewarded with gamerscore, whereas Nintendo just depend on their games being fun enough to have many hours of play without needing achievements. It works out well for them.... most of the time ¬_¬. Glad to see some Nintendo games return to their roots with New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns. I don't know about anyone else but I didn't enjoy Donkey Konga or Super Mario Sunshine.

  4. Two words and a digit for Game of the Year: Mass Effect 2

I reckon Medal of Honor belongs up there with the biggest let-downs, but I never had high hopes for it anyway. Fable III was another let-down, and Sonic 4: Episode I.

Online Game of the Year: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

  5. Seeing as you can't take this thread seriously, I'll get the ball rolling by posting achievements for Spyro 2 on PS1 myself ¬¬.

  6. I have no idea whether an idea like this has been done before, but I came up with it in my sleep. Basically, at someone's request, a game of previous generations can have achievements totalling 1000 gamerscore written for it (preferably by someone with knowledge of the game). This is basically like request rules to play a game or make a diary threads for EWR/TEW, but with retro gaming in mind for the likes of PS1/PS2/Xbox/Gamecube, and older titles (which will probably require less achievements for being typically shorter games) from the Genesis/SNES/NES/Master System/Colecovision/Odyssey etc.

    Go!

Seeing as I want an achievements challenge and most people have played it, someone give me 1,000 gamerscore worth of achievements for Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer.

We can also keep track of our achievements progress in this thread.

It might just be me but I find it funny when newcomers come in to EWB and think they can criticise all of the hard work put into these mods when they've not even had a go at it themselves. But not to remain completely off-topic, thankyou very much to TheWho87 and cpt.charisma for updating this mod into another month. Hope you guys continue your fantastic work =]

  8. 1250/1250 gamerscore for this one :)

I played it non-stop for 4 months, and i've completed all of it.

But there's nothing left to do but build up my level.

Any tips on how I can do that quickly?

It's quite annoying when you accidentally kill someone in the mage's guild (i accidentally killed an imp) and then i got kicked out and had to retrieve 10 daedra hearts and 10 vampire dust

Vampire dust i've got, but i don't know where to get daedra hearts now that I no longer have access to the realm of Oblivion and the realm of Sheogorath has no daedric beings in it.
