  1. I hate Roy Nelson, so much, but hats off to him. He got Kimbo in that crucifix twice, and defeated him with it, what he done won him the fight at the end of the day. I hope Kimbo comes back, because I do not have much interest in anyone else in the house apart from Rampage's quotes.

  2. If you don't already own it I really recommend Dirt 2. Don't know if that is up there with the "obvious", but I really enjoy the life out of this game. I don't know how much of a football/soccer fan you are but the new FIFA game is meant to be pretty good, if not a football fan I would say as another alternative you try to check out Infamous, which I also played till the cd disintegrated into my PS3

  3. Was quite shocked at how gassed McSweeney and Shivers were to be honest, especially as it only took a round to be that gassed. I thought it was 19-19, but McSweeney would have taken him out if it needed to go to an overtime 3rd round.

Kimbo Slice vs Roy Nelson. I want Kimbo to knock the fat prick unconscious, but I just don't think it's going to happen. Kimbo will probably do a Wes Shivers, gas heavily, and get stopped by Roy.

Hope I'm wrong, but I'm seriously pumped for next Wednesday now!

  4. Was discussing this with a couple of friends the other day and my case was for Apocolypse Now. The whole dream feel and overlapping shots gives it the most special feel to a movie intro i've ever seen.

Another inrto to a movie that I love, moving away from the usual, is BASEketball

  5. When watching an edited for TV scarface when I was about 14, the line

"This city is like a big pussy waiting to be fucked" (or something like that), turned into

"This city is like a big chicken waiting to be plucked"

There was another classic change from the movie which i cannot quite recal, I think it may have been the "eating pussy" from the beggining, but the one above made me laugh quite a lot.

  6. To me it does actually make some sort of difference, but it's not as if knowing this will stop me from actually buying the game. I would love to throw on some of my old PS2 games, but if I can't I'll just throw on one of my new PS3 games. I see your point Benji about the unlimited space, and having the backwards capablity would definalt be a good space saver, but you'll get over it if it's not, I did the same with my Gamecube and all the N64 games I wasn't able to play.

    Review Reasoning

I've owned every other TH game in the series and I thought it would be nice to share my experience with this one

    Plot Review

Grab a skateboard and lets get grindin some poles

    The Pros

    - Moves back to it's original roots (not so much crash as the THUG games, more old skool)

    - A great storyline that isn't too simular to ones of old, it's much more open than previous titles as you don't follow the story in a linear fasion anymore, it's more free range and at your call, although sometimes you do have to do some things in a certain order to advance

    - Wider story mode game area, as it's broken down into chunks this time and you can hop onto a bus at any time for easy access to different parts of LA

    - BMX is now included for one part of the storyline, it's not much but it's all that was needed, very cool indeed

  8. Definatly Mike Bossy for me. I was trying to think of a few other players that were cut off through injury that had potential to become great, but I couldn't think of someone on his level. Another that I would say would be Grant Hill, but after injury plauging his whole career he had a very solid season for the magic last year, but time will tell on him, because he was hyped huge back in the day.

  9. Overrated - Mullholland Drive. When this movie came out so many people were jizzing over it and called David Lynch a directorial master, but the movie just plain pissed me off. The second time watching everything fell into place and I knew what was happening, but it was still shit.

Underrated - The Dukes of Hazzard. Everyone seemed to shit all over this movie, I actually enjoyed it. I knew there wasn't going to be mind blowing Marlon Brando performances and I knew it wasn't exactly going to hang up there was the movies like Shawshank Redemption, but I really enjoyed this movie, saw it twice in a week at the cinema in fact.

  10. Nice show. I liked the main event and how it was played out, especially the fact that Angle didn't lose cleanly maybe he could be back at a later stage for another challenge, the brawl at the end was a nice way to finish.

6 Pack Cruiserwieght title match at Summerslam, nice one.

Christian is doing ok at the minute and although he isn't facing the absoloute cream of the bunch, he's faced two solid opponents who have the capabiluty to put on good matches and he's won both, watch his space.

    MNM vs Thrillers = good.

  11. This is such a good diary AD. I discovered it like 3 days ago and had to read through it all because i love your style of writing and your graphics (as everyone at BS forums you know, PLUG) are awesome. Keep this up man, I was going to do a diary from the GAB and onwards but I'm actually enjoying this a little too much to start writing at the moment. Nice work (Y)

  13. Smackdown! Preview

Kurt Angle and JBL vs Shannon Moore and Sho Funaki

Kurt Angle said this week he would return, and he stuck by his word, but he went to Shane and asked for a tag team match, as he doesn't think he was ready for the big time action just yet. Angle chose JBL as his partner, and Shannon Moore and Funaki as his opponents, a bit unfair? Big time unfair advantage the two big men hold going into the match. JBL and Angles combined weight going into the match is 510lbs, whilst Moore and Funaki's is 355lbs. Unless there is a huge shock, we can all guess who will be entering this match as the huge odds on favourites.

    Eddie Guerrero vs Mordecai

The undefeated Mordecai is ready to take that run into a world Heavyweight title match, his first ever shot at the gold. Mordecai shares a lot of similarities with Eddie's current foe the Undertaker, so will this be a warm up match for the big one against The Dead Man? or is it a smart move by Shane McMahon to try and get Eddie to prove how good he really is? Whatever happens, it's going to be a tough match for Eddie.

    Ret Mysterio vs Jamie Noble

Last week they were against each other in tag action, this week it's 1 on 1 for the two. Last week Rey got knocked off the top rope by Ultimo and his team ended up losing the match, so it looked as if there may be a re-match happening from Hollywood Smackdown! between the two, but it hasn't, Noble has been chosen ahead of Dragon. No doubt that Dragon and Rey will face off again some time, but it's just not this week on Smackdown!

    Booker T invitational

He's on a role at the moment, he's said he's the future, he's defeated Mr. Thursday night 2 weeks in a row, and has told Shawn Michaels that he is past it, and doesn't need to prove anything to him. Of course Michaels had something to say about that, but it didn't come to a match, but it could do this week. Booker has set up an open invitation, where he will pull a name from a hat, and fight whoever comes out, sounds fair enough, but will it be? The whole of Smackdown! will be hoping that the name pulled out is Shawn Michaels, but it's a thin chance that it will be, tune in to find out who it actually is.
