  1. I hope Free Ride makes a return...I really like the characters and I'm interested into seeing where it is going to go.

Some shows that have been retained are crap, but they are being retained because people watch them...

I'm going to miss Yes, Dear and King of Queens, but that new How I met your Mother show is a decent show that could possibly take over that old Raymond spot.

  2. I woke up this morning and saw this in the info box during Cold Pizza. I was absolutely stunned.

When Army was announced in the tournament field, the very show I heard the news from had Maggie and brother Jamie on the show, and they were so close.

Just seeing the news made me just freeze in my spot.

Autopsys report that her arrythmia was due to and enlarged heart. It just proves that no matter what health your in, the cruel reality of life can hit anywhere

    RIP Maggie Dixon :crying:

  3. I just finished up watching the Diamondbacks fall to 2-2 on the year...not a bad start.

The Brewers are a very popular team to pick this year, and it is very warranted. Their pitching staff is definetly top notch, and Dave Bush was amazing. (I always thought high of him, but he was always overshawdowed by Halladay) Turnbow is the new beast closer of this decade, and the young infield will be something to reckon with for years to come.

The D-Backs played hard, but Russ Ortiz just sucks too bad to keep the runs down...

    Brewers (4-0) def. D-Backs (2-2) 3 to 1

    W - Bush (1-0)

    L - Ortiz (0-1)

    S - Turnbow (1)

This is the time since 1987 since the Brewers have started the year 4-0 (They continued the undefeated streak until 13-0)

  4. I've heard the Inside Edge feature for 2K6 is an amazingly accurate tool for determing how to play your opponents.

I am honestly looking towards 2K6 right now, because The Show just doesn't interest me for some reason.

  5. ...I get a PS2...

Yes, I have finally given up on my Gamecube I received on its release date, after all my games are pretty much dead.

Now that I have a PS2, what are some non-MMORPG games that are fun and easy to play online?

And just to sway away from this question, I'm pretty much into all genre's, so suggest away!

  6. Looking forward to a repeat performance from last year from my D-Backs.

All the critics have them finishing no better than 3rd in the NL 'Worst', and with reason do they do that.

Everyone (except Colorado) improved greatly in the off-season, while the D-Backs absorbed as much as they disposed.

To expect 77 wins and second in the divison is probably very optimistic, although, the D-Backs have had a solid spring, leading the NL and Cactus league for the most part of March. Also have held the Yankees to 1-run, and a tie, so we can always take that. (Last time D-Backs beat the Yankees was Game 7 of 2001 World Series (0-3 since))

  7. I've never liked Barry Bonds. He is the only person in baseball I can't get around to liking. He is a jackass to the media, no matter how bad they are, it is their job...

I do believe he used some sort of drug to help him hit those homeruns, and the record should be labeled, but it never will, because he will not reach the mark, because he isn't taking steroids this year.

And also, I do hate the way ESPN treats Barry Bonds like God when he goes up to bat.

  8. Sophmores defeat Rookies 106-96.

76ers Andre Iguodala took home MVP honors.

As for predictions for tommorow's All-Star Weekend Festivites:

Dunk Contest: Andre Iguodala over Josh Smith in Final Round

3-point Shootout: Ray Allen def. Raja Bell in Final Round

Skills: Nash repeats over Dwayne Wade

WNBA/Legend/NBA thingy: Phoenix wins (Shawn Marion/Kelly Miller/Dan Majerle)

  9. Okay, I would put the story down, but their is some "no distribution" copyright at the bottom, so some descriptive writing is in store.

American takes lead. American Showboats. American Falls. America takes 2nd.

Lindsey Jacobellis had a significant lead in the Women's SnowboardCross Gold Medal Final, on the final jump, she grabs her board in what she described as being "...caught up in the moment," and then she falls. Tanja Frieden then storms by and steals Gold.

After the race, Jacobellis said this...

I was having fun. Snowboarding is fun. I was ahead. I wanted to share my enthusiasm with the crowd. I messed up. Oh well, it happens.

WNBA/Legend/NBA thingy: Phoenix wins (Shawn Marion/Kelly Miller/Dan Majerle)

And of course the Game itself:

West wins close one: 134-127; MVP: Kobe Bryant

  11. Although the US Women are last in the standings, Cassie Johnson and the rest of the "CurlGurls" are #1 in my heart.

Mine too, she is very attractive.

If you saw the match today, they could have won by getting 4 in the 10th, but thanks to bad clock management they didn't see it and got the three. They had the hammer and a good shot for the 4 points, went for the tie and lost in the OT.

  12. America forgot to pack something on this trip to Turin/Torino...

The team that was slated to be the best Team USA ever...yeah, sure.

    Sorta Spoilers I guess...

    Medal Count as of NOW:

Norway leads with 13 (1 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze)

    Germany 11 (5, 4, 2)

    Russia 11 (5, 2, 4)

    Canada 11 (2, 4, 5)

    USA 10 (6{lead for most gold}, 3, 1)
