  1. I don't think Wrestling is Fun will be around for long - and if they will become a child promotion. Like they are now to be honest.

I would put Chikara as Wrestling is Fun's parent promotion.

From what I gather from people I know, Wrestling is Fun will be around for the forseeable future, especially with Chikara touring more now, they will have WiF shows in the local area for their local fans.

  2. They have 3 June Events:

Quantum of Solace on the 21st, Diamonds are forever, also on the 21st, and Goldfinger on the 22nd.

In July they have Living Daylights on the 19th, and The World is not Enough on the 20th.

August: Permis Du Tuer on the 16th and Vivre et Laisser Mourir on the 17th

September has King of Trios which is 3 nights.

    October has Thunderball and Moonraker.

As far as stats go: I can't give full stats, but I can give some ideas on them.

Kid Cyclone has maybe 3 matches under his belt, so a lot of his stuff wouldn't be that high yet. He's got decent Charisma for a Chikara guy.

Nokken seems like a carbon coby of Tursas.

    Equinox hasn't debuted yet.

    Here is a screenshot of a TEW 05 I have of 17:

  3. Regarding of the new Chikara, because of the hype resulting from this huge break and the ARG and the movie, they should have a high momentum right now. I also think they deserve a fitting raise of popularity, their show was pretty good when it comes to audience and production techniques. So put them closer to RoH in their active areas.

Both Robbie Ellis and Mike Quackenbush are now authority figures. Robbie Ellis is the on screen owner and Mike Quackenbush is the new director of fun.

any suggestions on popularity? i have it at 25 in most the USA and 35 in Great Lakes, this makes them Regional size, also i need a list of Road Agents and Refs for Chikara

I don't know the exact numbers to use, but based on the people who come to Easton, plus the IPPV numbers, and the fact that they have sold over 1000 tickets in a ere few hours for King of trios, I would say it's pretty safe to assume they are cult level at this point.

  4. Yeah, I wouldn't go with Ashes as an indicator. Like LD said, Donst is in Ashes and is definitely done with CHIKARA, Derek Sabato and Wink Vavasseur are in Ashes and both are most likely done too, the original Worker Ant is in there and won't show up again…I'm not sure of any more, as I've not watched the theatrical release yet, but it's not a great indicator.

However, Chuck Taylor is, as far as I know, still one of the trainers at the Wrestle Factory, which would suggest that he's still part of CHIKARA, though I'd wait and see if he shows up in the promotion itself.

Good shout on the Baltic Siege as a whole, I missed them out - they all have merchandise available too, so they're definitely involved.

The problem with Nokken is that we've not seen him wrestle yet, and some people are convinced that he is just Tursas with a new name (I don't think he is, incidentally). There's nothing to add for him yet, basically.

And, as ever, the problem with a lot of CHIKARA - taking guys like the Baltic Siege as an example - is that they tend to portray multiple gimmicks within the one company, which can't be reflected in-game.

The Wink issue is ended in the final scene of Ashes.

Both Tursas and Ares have been adamant that Nokken is not Tursas.

Chuck Taylor is a trainer at the Factory, he also gets his own chapter in the "Press Start" E-book that they're selling.

If guys portray multiple gimmicks, but Chikara looks at each gimmick as it's own person, then they are seperate people, the updates already do that with (Not going to spoil and say he identities) Soldier Ant and Fire Ant.

Oh, also as the owners of the CDP Belts, I guess Steel and Jolly Roger, as well as Princess Kimber Lee should be there too.

However, Chikara isn't even in the "Set to Open" list. I could go and create the roster myself fom guys Kobald told me would be there, but creating Chikara as a whole is a pain.

  5. CHIKARA's an interesting one; I suppose, in theory, people might want to play them starting at the "reboot" show this month, in which case they would need to be in this upate. But, as you say, they haven't announced the full roster or anything yet.

Are they in the update as a "set to open" promotion already? I suppose the best way around it is to have them set to open in June 2014 (their first show is on May 25th, so close enough), and that way all their product definitions and whatnot are at least in place, and it won't take too much work for the minority of people who might want to play beginning at You Only Live Twice to add the contracts they want, and the event.

    For the record, though, you can safely assume the following should be on the CHIKARA roster;

    Mike Quackenbush (owner)

Bryce Remsburg (is hosting Event Center)

Icarus (focal part of main storyline, booked on the iPPV)

Eddie Kingston (Grand Champion, booked on the iPPV)

Archibald Peck (booked on the iPPV)

Jimmy Jacobs (booked on the iPPV)

    Kobald (booked on the iPPV)

    Kodama (booked on the iPPV)

    Obariyon (booked on the iPPV)

Sinn Bodhi (booked on the iPPV)

Oliver Grimsley (booked on the iPPV)

Qefka The Quiet (booked on the iPPV)

Shane Matthews (booked on the iPPV)

Scott Parker (booked on the iPPV)

    Amasis (has new merchandise available)

    Ophidian (has new merchandise available)

    Dasher Hatfield(has new merchandise available)

El Hijo Del Ice Cream (has new merchandise available)

Ice Cream Jr. (is featured on posters & promo material)

    Frightmare (has new merchandise available)

Ultramantis Black (has new merchandise available)

Fire Ant (has new merchandise available, is featured on posters and promotional material)

Green Ant (is featured on posters and promotional material)

AssailANT/Worker Ant II (is featured on posters and promotional material)

DeviANT (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Orbit Adventure Ant (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Missile Assault Ant (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Arctic Rescue Ant (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Ares (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Jigsaw (is featured on posters and promotional material)

The Shard (is featured on posters and promotional material)

17 (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Jaka (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Blaster McMassive (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Flex Rumblecrunch (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Sidney Bakabella (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Dr. Cube (is featured on posters and promotional material)

Obviously it's not necessarily exact, and there a few people missing that have been featured (Jacobs' unknown henchmen, the new BDK member that Tursas and Ares insist is not Tursas, despite what people think - he was given a new name, but I can't remember it or track it down anywhere).

    Robbie Ellis (New kayfabe owner)

    Chuck Taylor (In Ashes)

The Baltic Siege, part of the fight at the end of NPWD.

The new BDK member is Nokken

Anyone who was in Ashes or who was a part of the ending angle at NPWD.
