  1. That was a great episode shame the recent two have been abysmal.

It so hit and miss nowadays it seems :(

Well, I thought the one before last was pretty awesome, but yeah, the latest didn't really get much out of me, I barely ever laughed... though to be fair, I wasn't paying it much attention. :P

  2. You know, there's something that just occurred to me. They've been getting the word "shit" by uncensored for several episodes now. Royal Pudding was the first I noticed it in, and I think it's happened each episode. I'm wondering if they didn't convince Comedy Central to do that as a means towards building to this? You know, to show how "shitty" everything was getting?

  3. Man, you know, when I first saw them saying the whole "Your making money off my baby and he isn't?" thing, I sort of saw the NCAA correlation, but it wasn't until I saw the CBAA trophy-looking thing that I was sure what they were going for. They totally snuck that one up on me, how awesome.

    Fun ending, too.

  4. Not a very spectacular episode so far, today... though granted, my attention is kind of on something else.

Got a bit better as it went on, I think.

  5. I'd say if you are as hardcore of an Alabama fan as you say you are, there wouldn't even be a smidge of you that'd want to see Auburn win this game.

I'd be lying if I said I expected a defensive war. I figured it'd be 31-28 by halftime. Damn good game so far, though.

I didn't actually say I was a hardcore 'Bama fan, but you've got a point. I do love them, but honestly I hated Auburn before I loved 'Bama. See, one of the reasons it bothered me so much was because back then I didn't give a damn about football. They were basically taunting me over something I didn't know a single thing about. So I'm like "Why is the team my family pulls for such a big deal with you guys?"

  6. I'm kind of torn on this Championship Game.

On one hand, if Auburn won, it'd be the fifth straight National Champion from the SEC, and that'd be pretty badass for me, it's kind of a streak I'd love to keep going. On the other hand... I despise Auburn with everything that I am. Even by Bama fan's standards, I truly hate them. I mean, they're fans are the reason I'm not in Public School anymore, they all ganged up on me and bullied day in and day out for years on end, and I just couldn't take it. I've been home schooled since fifth grade because of them. So it goes without saying, I pretty much never want to see them win anything.

So basically what I ask myself is: As cool as keeping the streak going would be, is it really worth Auburn winning a National Championship? It perplexes me...

  7. I'll be honest, I thought LSU got that pick too. We were damned lucky it was ruled incomplete initially, because I don't think it would've been overturned either way. You know, it's a bit of an odd feeling when you know someone got screwed, and it ended up helping you..and this so soon after the SEC Official team that got suspended..how much you want to bet those judges will be investigated?

I've no love lost for LSU, but I can certainly understand any of the fans or players being angry after that, very rough day for them. The injury list just kept on piling up. It almost seemed like everytime they got momentum, someone needed to be helped off the field. And then that play..especially considering the guy that got screwed was the same one that came back from injury three times in that game..gotta feel for them.

Honestly, though, with a backup QB, I don't think they would've driven for 60 yards in a handful of minutes on us anyway, so I'm still pleased with the win.

  8. I think they shot for this to be one of those "Little bit of everything" episodes.

They mocked a TV show, they killed off someone they didn't like and mocked him for the rest of it, there was racism, oblivious/seemingly retarded adults, a running gag in F*CK YOU DOLPHIN/WHALE/COW/CHICKEN, a needless amount of violence..

The ending line was a very nice closer as well. Nice episode. Most of this half-season has been rather unimpressive for me, but I really liked this one.

  9. I've found the first two eps of this half-season a bit inconsistant - funny moments, but few and far between, it seems. And apparantly, next week we have a wrestling episode..no idea how good or bad that could end up.

  10. Another one this week? Hmm, for some reason, I could've sworn Pinewood Derby was the last of the first half. Is this season to be a little longer then previous ones?

Apprantly it will have something to do with the Somalia piracy thing. No surprise there.

  11. ..So, uh, meh?

That episode was pretty funny at first, but when it started to "deepen" it just seemed a little tiresome for some reason to me. Once all the aliens came in, it just became a bit boring. I don't think I laughed once after the first commercial break..all the countries getting together and lying was sorta funny, and destroying Finland because they where going to talk was amusing, but the later half in general fell flat for me.

  12. NEW YORK, April 13, 2009 – BUILDING A PINEWOOD DERBY CAR IS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SOME GOOD OLD FASHIONED FATHER-SON BONDING TIME in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, "Pinewood Derby,” premiering on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL. RANDY IS DETERMINED THAT STAN WILL WIN THIS YEAR’S PINEWOOD DERBY. He comes up with a PLAN that will assure Stan a first place trophy.

Huh. Not that impressive sounding, but Randy episodes are pretty much always good, and SP's certainly surprised me before, so we'll see.

  13. Y'know, I kinda like how South Park episodes are done so down-to-the-wire. Not seeing any previews until just a couple days before it airs, so you go an entire week having no idea what's next. Pretty much 0& chance of spoilers, the previews lately have really been focused on the plot, no real jokes in them, so all jokes you see in the episode are new to you. I hate that in some movies, the only funny parts are in the commercials, so there really isn't any reason to watch.

  14. I guess they figured without an actual system, the none-SS submission moves wouldn't be used by anyone, so they just took out most of them. Using them does kinda suck, if they have the right amount of damage to the area, then it's on for a few seconds and they tap. It reminds me of the way they used to do it on the old SmackDown! games, where moves like the Walls Of Jericho would win or not win, seemingly at random.

  15. Not sure why everyone predicted blowouts/high-score games, it kinda went the way I thought it would, point-wise. I pretty much thought it'd be medium-scoring, and that it would be somewhat close. I thought it would be Florida winning it, and the most I would've been willing to bet by would be six points. A pretty good game, I'd say, neither really looked that weak, and it had some exciting moments.

  16. I thought you only had to do career mode once, with a CAW of your choosing, and then you could distribute attribute points and abilities throughout the rest of the caws? Will I still need to do a career mode for every CAW?

That's what the patch is for..

From what a friend told me, what was downloaded today for the PS3 was just some sort of Elimination Chamber update.
