  1. Just pre-ordered it from GreenManGaming. I think it's the last day for their 25% off sale, and that's the cheapest a digital copy of the game will be until at least the Steam Winter Sale. I don't see an activation code on my GMG account, though; do they have them yet?

  2. It leaked before the game came out last year. I assume that's why SEGA is going all-in with Steam integration for FM12.

I remember that. It'll still get cracked though, I'd imagine.

Yeah. Games are sadly cracked no matter what, and very quickly. Double Fine just released the PC version of Costume Quest last Friday night at an event, and before the night was done, it had already been cracked.

Don't forget to delete your fake.inc files!

I forget to do this every year! Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like my game is 50% finished decrypting. I'll finally get to play a legit MLS career as the Whitecaps! Though, given their performance this year, I don't know why I'm so excited.

  3. The game already simulates the results on non-playable leagues, but doesn't recognize the results until the end of season. It's not as dynamic as it would be if the leagues were playable, which is why you'll often find the same higher reputation teams advancing to continental competitions, but the leagues do take place behind the scene. My main concern is applying to jobs in unplayable leagues -- will I be able to do this, or will I have to make the league playable first? Could be a bit troublesome in journeymen saves.

this guy should post here more often

64 times in 7 years is considerably more than I thought I had. I'd probably post more if I knew how to change names. Underscores are awful; I have no idea what my 18-year-old self was thinking.

  5. I highly doubt that Sigur Ros will breakout anytime soon. They've had a little hype for Takk..., which is nice, even if the album is incredibly mediocre. Yes, it's more mainstream-accessable than their other works, but that doesn't mean is is mainstream-accessable. Give them a couple more years/albums to build up the fan-base, which grows exponentially whenever they play live in a city, but 2006 isn't the year.

As for who I think will breakout, eh. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah might, as they have a sound that people crave now, but I have a feeling that they've pretty much capped. So I'll go with M.I.A. She's exploded in the previous year, got to open for Gwen Stefani, and is now working on a new album with Timbaland. Normally, that isn't good news, but hey. It'll get her more attention.

As far as concerts go, eh. You hardly ever get more than 6 weeks between announcement and actual show, and most of the best ones are in the summer.
