  1. And mine was a legitimate question because there's a big difference between being reckless and letting a fight continue, and protecting a fighter by stopping it.

Oh wait, it was a personal attack. Don't get your friend to kick my ass like he did to Chris Brown

That's funny that you mention that in here when it was from a topic in the Lounge. Now that is baiting, after my 'attacks' had stopped, and I'd call you a smarmy cunt for it but Rocksta already used that line on me. If you would like to have the Chris Brown discussion though, since you obviously have an opinion about that, we can do that over MSN.

I agree, there is a fine line between reckless and letting the fight continue, but Koscheck was fully responsive and actually went to stand before positioning himself back into guard. That is the point I was trying to make before. His shoulders were off the mat and he was positioned do defend himself on the ground. There was no hesitation or moment where he laid there or looked confused as to where he was. He instantly opened his eyes and went to continue from the ground/his back.

    Dude,

I've watched it like ten times already, and that was momentum that initially sent him up. his eyes rolled back, he went out for a second and the ref did the right thing he did what he was taught to do, and thats protect the fallen fighter, it would be unsafe to let Kos fight on, hell i gaurentee he has a concussion right now and a major headache.

  3. Have you watched the NFL the last 2 seasons? Jennings and White are FAR better than Berrian. They're 2 of, if not the, best young WRs in the league.

And then Bowe and Berrian have been about equal the last 2 seasons but those are the first 2 seasons for Bowe as opposed to the 4th and 5th for Berrian. Not saying Bowe is for sure better, but definitely

Jennings is overrated. Without Favre/Rodgers he'd be nowhere. And White is pretty good, but every game i've seen him in he's been way too incosistant.

And Bowe is good, but Berrian IMO has done better.

And yes, i watch all Vikings Games, Most Patriots and Seahawks Games, and a few Ravens and Bears games. So i see the Falcons play alitle, and usually White drops the ball alot or misses plays.

Berrian is still improving he is only going to get better, especially if he can get a QB not named Gus(i like him though) or T-Jack.

  4. Pah Judo's pretty good to watch actually. Sumno on the other hand is horribly boring cos the TV coverage is really long and drawn out and the fights are over in about 10 seconds.

Acutally i enjoy what little Sumo i've seen. I don't find Judo boring at all. i just don't like it, because i know alot of judoka who are all ass clowns. That and every judoka i've ever met has tried to put down my favorite sport so fuck them.

The only real sport i refuse to watch because of i can't be entertained is Basket Ball. i don't like soccer, but occasionally i'll catch a game that isn't too boring, or i'll be pumped up to watch it. i'm just not a big fan of it.

  5. Berrian is definitely better then; Dwayne Bowe, Roddy White, and for sure Greg Jennings, and probably Houshmanzadeh.

Ok maybe top 10 was an overstatement. I'll go with top 20-25. Plus Shanicoe(Sp?) is becoming a really good TE.

And i do believe Cassel will end up as a Chief, i see it happening.\

My only hope for the Vikings is that if they don't sign a QB or trade for one, that they draft Chase Daniel in the second round, and that hopefully Crabtree or Maclin falls to us.

  6. There's no way somebody's trading for Vick.

He's owed too much money on his current contract (that, mind you, most people thought was too much at the time it was given to him, much less after what happened in the last couple of years) and it's not even guaranteed that he will be able to play next year. Not to mention the fact who knows how good he can actually be after not playing football for 2 seasons.

The Falcons will end up releasing him and somebody in the league will roll the dice (it better not be the 49ers; though I think all the ESPN speculation about them being interested in him is simply their writers grasping at straws) and see what he can bring to the table.

And as for the Vikings, they'll go after somebody like Derek Anderson but they're definitely not going to go after Vick. Comparable or not, it wouldn't make sense to replace Tarvaris Jackson with an older version of the same QB.

Plus, they're more than a QB away from being NFC Champions. They need a WR that can consistently catch the ball (Berrian's not bad but he gets a case of the drops at least once a game and seems to be more of a #2 than a true #1) and they need to get younger in the secondary. Plus, I think they suffer from having a coach who isn't that good of a head coach. Coordinator, yeah, Childress is good, but I just don't think he's a very effective head coach.

And as for Favre, he will stay retired and wouldn't even be able to play for the Vikings anyways, per the agreement that was signed when he was traded to the Jets. I'm not positive that it extends after last year but I'm pretty sure it would.

The Vikings secondary is pretty good. Berrian is a top 10 reciever, Sidney Rice and Aundrae Allison are both improving vastly. Bobby Wade although not a top reciever is a good solid veteran.

I agree about Childress not being a good coach.

And that was only in Favre's contract for this year, if he unretires he could be either released or traded. And if Vick gets released the Vikings would most likely go after him.

Personally though i think the vikings will go hard after Matt Cassel and might even get him.

And with Favre the Vikings would be the CLEAR favorites to win the whole thing. With Vick they would be contenders, with Cassel maybe NFC Champions or contenders, and with Derek Anderson probably just NFC North Champions again.

Plus Vick is like a better version of Travaris. Vick runs better, throws less picks, has a better arm and is more expierenced.

  7. The fact that Petruzelli's next fight is against Doug Marshall on a card headlined by a ROY JONES JUNIOR BOXING MATCH is a good sign that he's not a great fighter, otherwise somebody would have capitalized on his star power.

I Never said he was a great fighter, i said he was a pretty good one. And Seth Still doesn't have alot of starpower. And both Roy Nelson and Jeff Monson are fighting on that card and both of them are top 15 Heavies.

And Roy Jones JR. is a superstar, he is a big name. I personally can't wait for this event.

  8. The Falcons Want to Trade Vick. does anyone think it happens?

I do. I think that if the Vikings don't land Bret Favre or if he stays retired, i think they trade for him.

He and Pacman Jones should end up with the Raiders. Seriously.

probably. But the Vikings are one QB away from NFC Champions, and one Top QB away from NFL Champions. Vick after shaking off the rust could get them there. Also so could Favre, but Vick is a longer term fix.

  9. Wow, i must be the only person alive that actually likes Jason X then. i love that movie. i even sorta like Jason vs Freddy

    No. I like Jason X.

Don't care for Jason vs Freddy, though.

I didn't overly like it though, Freddy vs Jason. I pretty much like everything Jason has been in. I liked Jason X alot to tell the truth.

  10. Personally i think this is the best Slasher movie ever made. thats my opinon though. i've already seen it thrice. i saw the midnight opening with my girlfriend, a showing yester with some old teammates, then i saw it this mourning with my brother.

  11. Apparently, the tongue-in-cheek stuff doesn't translate well to the internet.

The point I was getting at, was that EliteXC mis-managed itself into closing down, but the straw that broke the camel's back was their appointed star being bitchslapped by a former UFC job guy. Then, when Seth Petruzelli let it slip that they'd told him to stand up, the whole deal just fell apart.

EliteXC and CBS blame Ken Shamrock for the whole fiasco... but only because it's easy to make him look like the bad guy in the situation to people not in the know.

But what people don't realize, is that Seth Petruzelli is a pretty good fighter. He has pretty good strikes and wrestling. Petruzelli is a tough cookie, he may be wierd but he didn't get a fair shake in the UFC. hopefully they will bring him back after he beats down Doug Marshall.

But yeah, CBS and EliteXC where crooked and dumb. You don't build around a guy with no expierence and no talent. i mean everyone knew he was going to get smacked down by Shamrock/Seth if they watched the Thompson fight, which should have been stopped in the second round.

Kimbo is a joke, and i won't watch him fight unless i'm 100% sure he'll lose.

  12. I would say Nascar but i don't consider it a sport, so i don't count curling either. I also don't consider darts, poker and bowling sports. I also don't really consider Golf a sport, but i will play. I also want to murder anyone who considers; Bowling, Darts, Poker and Eating a sport.

So my least favorite(s) are; Soccer and Judo.... Followed closely by, Basket Ball(i'll play but won't watch) and Jiu-Jitsu.
