Question time!

Reading TEOL's Crusader Kings II diary thingy in The Cube has got me interested in playing this game. I'm curious as to how long it'll take someone who normally doesn't play strategy games to understand the game to a reasonable level? a.k.a "How long will it take me to understand and master the basic mechanics of the game?"

To be honest I feel Total War is easier for beginners but this isn't impossible if given enough time but don't expect to jump right in.

Quick question if talks break down between you and a player then later you take him on trial (after he is released) how long till he will discuss contracts with you?

I hate fighting games like street fighter's single player modes where you can kick any characters ass until suddenly the game decides "NO! NO MORE" and will beat you once or twice even though you did the exact same thing worst offender:

an embarrassment of a mortal kombat game MK Vs DC i'll give you an example I can beat every character including superman with flawless victories on the hardest difficulty and Captain Marvell will kick my ass for no apparent reason the rematch 2 flawless victories to me.

Does that make sense to you?

Heyman was the head booker and owner of ECW as for NJPW I dont really know was it Riki Choshu? Also I though Inoki had stepped down to an advisory role by this point but I maybe wrong
