  1. Could it be some frustrated United fans acting out because he was a big money signing and he didn't single handedly turn United back into premiership contenders? "You are representative of our 'dark days'  in the lower half of the top 6 so we must boo you vociferously" 😁

You sometimes see it in a lot of sports where fans lash out at a big signing for not living up to their personal fan standards.

  2. Sam Lloyd aka Ted from Scrubs has inoperable cancer. :crying:

Sam Lloyd, who played Ted Buckland on Scrubs, has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer.

After experiencing headaches last month, Lloyd, 55, underwent a CT scan, which revealed the presence of a tumor on his brain. Unfortunately, further tests showed the cancer had spread to his lungs, liver, spine, and jaw.

Several of Lloyd’s former Scrubs cast members have banded together to raise money for Lloyd and his family. A GoFundMe campaign has collected nearly $100,000 in donations since it was created earlier this week.

Lloyd’s other television credits include guest starring roles on The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, Spin City, and 3rd Rock From the Sun. He also appeared in films such as Flubber, Galaxy Quest, and The Brothers Solomon.

After just six months as the head coach of the Socceroos, reports have surfaced that Graham Arnold is already looking to leave his post in favour of taking on a club role. According to ESPN sources, Arnold is keen to take up a position with Hibernian Football Club in the Scottish Premier Football League.

Hibernian's coach Neil Lennon was reportedly suspended following a run-in with the club chief. As a result, Hibernian's academy coach Eddie May stood in for Lennon in their 3-1 win over St Mirren last weekend.

Arnold has had plenty of contact with Hibernian since taking the helm of the Australian national team. He visited Hibernian prior to the Asian Cup, in a recruitment mission to get Hibernian's Scottish-born Martin Boyle to play for the Socceroos, qualifying through his Australian father. Jamie Maclaren and Mark Milligan also play for Hibernian.

The injury-hit Socceroos unfortunately had a disappointing Asian Cup campaign. The reigning champions crashed out of the tournament last week after a 1-0 defeat to United Arab Emirates in the quarterfinals.

Right now – for the first time ever – there’s no male on the planet in his 20's who has won a grand slam title, with Croatian Marin Cilic’s 30th birthday in September bringing with it that extraordinary fact.

And there’s a fair chance this trend could continue for some time yet. While Djokovic and Nadal are 31 and 32 respectively they have both recovered from injuries to once again appear close to their physical peaks. There’s no reason why they can’t continue to push the limits of talent and time and dominate the Slam events for the foreseeable future even if Federer can’t add another Slam to his record mark of 20.

There’s three players under 21 in the top 30 of the rankings at the moment – Tsitsipas, Denis Shapovalov and Australian Alex de Minaur.

    Fair points there Dave.

Liam, I believe it is just us and France yes. I have long felt it would be better to make the EFL Cup just for EFL teams, and scrap the Checkatrade since they've ruined that beyond repair.

Combine the French League and English League Cups and only have them open to lower league teams from both countries.
