  1. There goes Wikipedia's credibility...

    Why?

Kotaku and other sites are sited all over that page when they've been spreading misinformation about from the get-go for one. Let alone this controversy started when one of their writers was unprofessional.

But Gazz is right this is pointless. Sorry. I just hate being called a misogynist when I'm trying to write letters to advertisers (not that anyone here was doing exactly that, just in general). I'll keep it to myself from now on.

  2. I caught pre-release screenings Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys and Ninja Apocalypse at Comic-Con a few weeks ago, they were both pretty stupid. The cast of Blood Lake left after ten minutes. The cast of Ninja Apocalypse stuck around for their showing and shouted obnoxiously a lot. Neither of them really cared about their movies I guess.

I also watched Knights of Badassdom there and it didn't seem that bad to me; it had its moments at least.

I think Sharknado 2: The Second One is miles better than the original Sharknado too.

  3. I like to pretend I never watched a movie until 2013, so this is rough and not permanent. So please don't hate me for it. I'm going to try to watch enough action movies to hopefully knock Pirates off the list. I'll watch eight movies to knock off Battle Royale II for sure.

    1. Team America: World Police

    2. Battle Royale

    3. The Lego Movie

    4. Serenity

    5. Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End

    6. The Hunger Games

    7. Series 7: The Contenders

    8. Olympus Has Fallen

    9. The Wolverine

    10. World War Z

    11. Battle Royale II: Requiem

  4. Depends on what you're offended by.

It was 3 hours of shitty people doing shitty things. I still don't understand what makes it a good movie.

I don't really mind what a movie is about. As long as the performances are believable and the dialogue doesn't make me cringe I'm happy. I didn't really see that many movies in 2013, but that was the one that hooked me the most. It's hard for me to hate something that does what it sets out to do.

  5. The only thing I was bummed about really, was that after finishing the main story, I couldn't go back and collect everything that I missed.

On my next play through, I'm going to do all of the side quests prior to the main story quests, so that I can try and collect everything. I mean, I didn't even get my favorite Chinpokomon, Shoe.

Umm...I just beat the game and I can still wander around and stuff?

Some of the Chinpokomon are in places you can't go back to. Shoe is one of them.

  6. They didn't put abortion in just to put abortion in; it's core content that effects every aspect of the storytelling process.

I am taking this out of spoiler tags because it is. Well. I don't even know what it is. It beggars belief. It is among the strangest sentences I have ever seen.

If abortion wasn't in the game it wouldn't be the same game.

  7. Can you pause the game during that part? I paused it during a later mashing part and it seemed to help a lot.

On the abortion parts now that I've finished the game:

It's pretty unnecessary to censor. You already can't see anything that's happening. I don't see why the EU had to ruin that joke for everyone. Maybe I've just been desensitized when it comes to these type of things. Is it the fact that you can see abortion tools? Is it abortion tools that are the problem with the scenes?

I was a bit let down because I thought I was going to see blood and fetuses torn out of women or something that was actually gross, but if the abortion mini-games weren't leaked I would've laughed.

The part where you dodge your dad's balls seems more worthy of censorship to me.

You were let down because it wasn't the way you described? That's weird man

Yes, it got censored in some places so I was expecting something worthy of it. I knew some parts of it weren't going to be funny any more because of the 'controversy', but I thought that I'd at least get a kick out of it being over the top and gruesome.

Why would you want to play an abortion mini-game? I don't even find it particularly offensive - I think we're over that given that these days you can expect to hear "cunt" on BBC Radio 4 during a reading from Atonement.

It's not even offensive, really. It's just puerile and stupid. And ultimately pointless.

How else would I prove to the Taco Bell people I was really an abortion doctor? They didn't put abortion in just to put abortion in; it's core content that effects every aspect of the storytelling process.
