  1. I just hit level 70 in my first prestige, so going to reset again soon... ugh.

How people do this for 10 more times is beyond me.

I know how you feel. I reached level 70 for the first time earlier today and thought it was an achievement until I found out I needed an extra 70k xp to prestige.

  2. Bringing this back from the dead because there hasn't been enough good TV discussion recently. I've been watching a variety of things recently but I'll start with

Psych: I don't know why I didn't catch this sooner. I watched the pilot on a whim, got hooked and blew through all the episodes within a week. Really funny show with a great cast. I don't really care about the romantic thing they're trying to do with Shawn recently but thats not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

I only watched this on this on the recommendation of Tkz and I managed to get through the whole first series in one day.

  3. Nobody's saying they'll fund Portsmouth, just the players, they're not covering any debts, just playing the players their wages, Portsmouth isn't seeing any money, at the end of the season, they're still bust, but the players at least get paid.

Their not even doing that on time. I'm surprised more players didn't exit in January. The figure being quoted is owing £11 million to the tax man yet they could still afford to start payments for Dindane.

Even the council have said it would be a waste of tax payers money to help the club out.

  4. So did that draw help Portsmouth at all, or did it just screw Sunderland?

If Pompey do go under then all results against them will be void, so everyone will lost their points they won against them.

From what I've seen on Sky Sports news, the sources say that the Inland Revenue have rejected a cash offer.

EDIT: Apparently the future of Pompey will be decided within the next hour

  5. Why is it such a rarity to get Rust on Free For All? Must have only ever played on it 5 or 6 times... but oh boy, what a glorious occasion it is everytime! Just love that map so much. Mainly due to the pure madness of just running around like a maniac and picking off everyone I see.

Instead of getting a good map like that.. my last 5 matches were Karachi twice, Rundown twice and Estate. All of which i dislike.

Can tell I like my small maps, since my favourites are Rust, Terminal, Highrise and Scrapyard.

Rundown isn't that bad, and I find Estate depends entirely on what the teams are doing. I have a great time trying to storm the house and clear out all the enemies in there, but it's downright boring when my team has control of the house.

Has there been any talk of extra maps etc.?

There is talk of DLC but from what I've heard/read it's going to be a 360 exclusive a month before PS3 gets it thumbsdown.gif

  6. Also thinking of going to this, the Mighty Chesney Hawkes! in Portsmouth

I was considering going to that for one song only and the fact it's not too far away from where I live.

The gigs I have planned for this year are

    16th March - Zebrahead/MC Lars

20th April - Bowling For Soup Acoustic

TBA April - Story Of The Year (Would make my whole life if they played Just Close Your Eyes)

End of August - Reading Festival with line up tba

    Also considering Madina Lake

  7. Apparently Milton Jones has a DVD. I was completely unaware of this.

That said, I've still got Ed Byrne and Rhod Gilbert's latest DVDs to get before I consider anyone else's.

The Rhod Gilbert DVD is one of the best live stand ups I have ever seen. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I also never noticed until a few weeks ago that he was the guy on the advert advertising Wales.

I heard the Russell Howard was not on this weeks show. Any word on where he was?
